Hi, I'm Laura, moving to Melbourne for work. I'm easygoing, clean and considerate around the house, sociable but not a party animal. I work full-time, study part time, like to get out and about (hiking, camping, exercise, arts, social events). I also like cooking and would love to share dinner with housemates occasionally. I don't smoke and would be looking for a non-smoking house. I have no children or pets, but am fine with other people's. I'm looking for a long term sharehouse, preferable for 1 year or more, with great people and positive attitudes. People and location are important to me, not fussed if the place is fancy or not. Please let me know if you have any questions or know of something that might suit. Cheers Laura
I work full time in the pet food industry in SE Melbourne/VIC. Like to go out on weekends or get out of the city, but just as happy staying in. Currently living in the north, so I'm keen to be east/South East to cut out a long and frustrating part of my commute. I love to cook, have netflix nights or chats over a glass (or two) of red, read and exercise and go out with friends. Looking to start up a lease on a place as I am equiped with nice furniture, a stable income and a very well behaved and housetrained cat/bunny duo. Would love to find people to share a home with, as opposed to just coexisting under the same roof. Hoping to get a 3 bedroom with another person, with the intention of subletting the third room and myself taking responsibility for this. I'd lease a place myself but may have more luck with someone else. Happy to have someone on a working holiday staying 6mo or more as the only furniture needed is bedroom stuff.
I'm a 40 year old Kiwi - just relocated to Melbourne and working full-time in the CBD. I'm clean, tidy and sociable. Cat and dog friendly. Looking for a room - somewhere close to city, or at least close to tram lines. I'm totally house-trained and respectful of all people and their space. I don't have much stuff, just two cases and a mattress.
Hello! Short term stay needed please! I need to move out from my current apartment (living with the housemate from hell) and have around 4 weeks between moving into my new house. I would need to move in on the 28th August for around 4 weeks. Not too fussy with location just close to transport would be great. I work full time in the city for Victoria Police and am very OCD clean and respectful. No partying or drugs etc! Please email if you have anything that would suit :) x
I love socializing, doing yoga and pilates, go out for a drink or a bite to eat but I also enjoy some time at the house and relax, listening to music and cooking! I am here on a work holiday visa, but I got flown over to work as a PA and Nanny in Malvern. I am part-time living in (so one week I will be there Thursday till Monday morning and the next week Wednesday till Friday). At the moment I am sleeping in Hostels in Melbourne and trying out different areas, well actually I only stayed in CBD until now! Anyway! I would love to find an apartment where I can leave my stuff and enjoy my free nights! Not to far from Malvern, because I still have to go back and forth on the days I don't sleep there! Somewhere between Malvern and CBD. I am pretty laid back and off course I clean up after myself! Moving date is not important and the lenght of my stay depends on how long I will be in Melbourne! But probably 9 months up to a year in melbourne
Hi everyone, me and my friend are looking for a place to stay from 2nd or 3rd of Sept in Hawthorn or around. We are looking for either two single rooms or one room which we can share. We are studying in Swinburne University. We are clean, sociable and easy going people in our mid 20s. Please PM me if you have a place or know any place or if you need any info about us. Thanks
Hey everyone, I’m looking to team up with one or two people to establish a new house with (open to to existing places too). :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, TV/Netflix, games and outings such as live music events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. I'm also open to lots of other stuff- if you want to drag me over to an art gallery, help you make miracles in the kitchen (can't promise i'm great with that) or head to a basketball court- i'm also willing to do that if you convince me. :') I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard. Suburbs/move date are flexible.)
Hi! I'm Martina and I'm a media & com student at Swinburne. I've been in Melbourne for 3 months at a short term stay and am looking for my next place to move. I would consider extending the lease if I like the place/roommates :) I am a quiet, respectful, easy going friendly person. Also a bit of a clean freak. I would love to live with some people my age so we could hang out on evenings and weekends! Ps I need a furnished room :)
I'm a 28 year old engineer. I've recently started a new job in the Northern Suburbs and am looking to move a little closer to work (currently living in the south east and having to battle Punt Rd very day). I'm easy going and tidy. I enjoy sport, comedy, music and books. I'm sociable and like hanging out but also appreciate peoples need for privacy.
I am an easy going, very tidy, friendly 21 year old. I am currently working fulltime as an enrolled nurse and will be going back to part-time study next year. I love meeting new people and am looking for a house that I will have my own space in but that I will feel at home in and hopefully get on well and make friends with my house mates. I am out a lot but also love hanging at home. I am into sport, fitness, and outdoor stuff :) I am previously from the country (Lakes Entrance) and moved to the city 2 years ago to work and enjoy the city life :) I am currently living in Oakleigh and the lease runs out next month so I am seeking a place as soon as possible. Please send me a message if you think I would be a good candidate as a housemate for you! Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! Jaz
Hello :) I'm Corey...! I'm 25, I'm gay, I'm a chef, I'm a bartender. I like wine, I like rum, I like food, I like music, I like to cook, I like to sleep, I like to chat, I like to chill. I don't like messy houses, I don't like rude people, I don't like prejudice, I don't like petty bullshit. Hopefully you like me :)
Currently working in the travel industry so my working day ranges from mellow to hectic so ideally looking for a somewhere to unwind after a long day. I'm very easy going and tidy - low maintenance house mate.
Hi there! My name is Toni Wong and I have recently moved to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand. I use to work in an office at a company similarly to Harvey Normans. I am also looking for full time work. Since I have just moved to Melbourne, I will most likely be out and about exploring, I am a total foodie and love trying out new cafes. I enjoy baking however, will need a few helping hands to eat it with me. I have flatted before and loved it! I enjoy being around people however, also understand if the other person would like their own space. I am bubbly, friendly and reliable so bills will always be paid on time. Thanks!
I'm a bit of a homebody and I love cooking and being creative. My spare time is spent going on adventures with my dog, reading or enjoying simple pleasures like food with friends. While I like to have a chat with my housemates or share a meal, I am a very independent person who enjoys my own space and alone time.
My name is Sam, I work as a lifeguard but have just completed studies in Travel and Tourism, so i'm trying to find some work in Tourism, Hospitality, and Events field. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with animals! I am a sociable person that loves to get in the kitchen and cook for everyone. I also love cosy Saturday nights spent on the couch watching movies with good friends and a good drink! I'm always down for a good conversation or D&M, but also like some quiet time. I am a neat freak, and love nothing more than a clean house! Travelling is one of my favourite things to do, whether that be a day trip down the peninsula or a trip overseas I just love getting out there and doing fun things :) Clinton: Clinton is my partner; He works full time at a hotel in the city. He shares a lot of the same qualities and interests as me, He also loves a movie night on the couch with a drink, a good conversation, and is an absolute neat freak (probably worse than me) Archie: Archie is our cat! he is about three years old, he's such a genuine and loving cat, and is probably the most affectionate cat I have ever met. He loves smooches and cuddles. He loves meeting new people and will probably want to spend more time around you than us, but he also loves to sleep the day away!
I work in a studio in St Kilda and am looking to find a place closer to work so I can spend less time commuting. Because let's face it, who wants to spend their precious time in traffic? Although I will definitely miss the entertaining and often comical mishaps of peak hour, preserving my sanity is more important which has led me to create this profile. Currently most of my homely belongings are in storage. I come with appliances, couches, utensils, rugs and everything in between (I'm also house trained). Although if not needed this stuff can stay in storage. I can't cook but will often be seen trying. If you like to live dangerously you can accept my offer to have some, but please note; I will not be held accountable for any damages yourself or the bathroom incur. Consider this a disclaimer. I am an avid gamer and try to keep my in-game rage cursing to a minimum so as not to disrupt the equilibrium. Playing games is required of me for "work research purposes"... so technically it is still adulting. I also have a fantastic collection of memes that I am more than happy to share with everyone. Most importantly I am a super clean dude! My room is usually in disarray but I always make a conscious effort to keep my clutter out of communal spaces for the happiness of all. Also, if I destroy the kitchen trying to prepare one of my tasteless meals I can rebuild it as I used to be a tradie. I am very tolerant to all traits, except rudeness. That sucks and has no place on this earth. For my line of work and the fact that sometimes I work from home, decent internet with large download allowances is generally a must. I know I'm probably reaching too far here given Australia's woeful connections but having just spent the last year somewhere with the worst internet... I would like to move on from that experience. I don't take myself too seriously, I love what I do for a living, I think I should drink wine more often, I can shake my eyeballs and I love miniature long-haired sausage dogs. Here are a few keywords to describe me: Imgur, Trance, Coffee, Seasonal, Bearded, Positive, Generous, Chill, Sound, Music, Lucky, Respectful.
Ciao! A driven young professional. Very respectful and always fun. I take what I do seriously but myself not as much. Weekdays consists of working, gym and eating out. Weekends are more for socialising, shenanigans and trips down to the coast. Very easy going and generous with the things I have. Having hailed from a big family and recently living with my sister, I have the utmost respect for one's privacy. Fun successful culture with positive people is all that I'm after. Talk soon... -Mike
Hi! I'm a funny and responsible Spanish girl. I've come here to study the PhD at Deakin University. I like reading, watching movies, listening some music, have fun with my friends, do some excersice (as much as I can) and animals also! I am very talkative, responsible, well organised, cleaned and quiet. Because of the PhD I will spend much time in the uni, but I like having somebody to talk to when I get home. I also like privacy and independance too, so I would like to be with people that respect this also. I'm now in a homestay but I would like to find a house, between the city and the uni (Richmond, Hawthorn or similars, tram 75 rute hehe), just to live by myself or share with people who are my same age more or less. If you have anyquestions, let's meet and have a nice chat while having some tee! See you! ^.^
I'm a Master's student, majoring in Communication. I'm generally a quiet but sociable person. I'm very privacy conscious and respect others' space. I'd like a place that's kept clean by other housemates (especially the bathrooms and kitchen) and locked responsibly. I will do the same in return. I also believe in friendship and communication between housemates, and I always pay my bills on time! I would ideally like to move closer to the city (currently in Box Hill). However, I am not opposed to a nice place in Box Hill/Burwood area again. Currently moving out of a place where I've had 3 great housemates. Hope to find the same in the next place :)
Hi there, My names Jacq and I am looking at moving from Sydney to Melbourne in November this year. I am currently studying online, but moving to on-campus study in 2018 at the Burwood Campus of Deakin. I have already completed a degree in NSW and lived on-campus for 4 years. This means I have experience living with people I don't know, and have never had any problems. Moving from Sydney, I won't know many people around, so having a good relationship with my roommates is important to me. I love sport, wine, Netflix, coffee and just hanging out. I am a clean, friendly, energetic individual who is keen to meet new people and look forward to hearing from some of you in the future :)
Hey guys, I've been living in Melbourne now for about 5 months with some friends after moving from NZ and am now looking for a place to call my own. Pretty laid back guy, 9-5 job in advertising, always keen for good eats and good drinks. Try to stay pretty active, through playing sport or just going for a run. Make pretty good fried chicken too. Send me a message and I'll get back to you asap
