Just a friendly, honest 43 year old single male. I keep to myself, I don't smoke or do drugs. Only an occasional social drinker. Will be starting a full-time cookery course at regency tafe for 2 years starting in July. I only need a small room for myself with a bed and maybe a desk. Internet is not important, but it'd be a bonus if it was included. I keep to myself, but if you get to know me, I'll talk your ear off. I can even cook :) My budget is pretty small, so please take that into consideration. Hope to talk to you soon!
My name is Mario. I am a 41-year old researcher who recently moved to work at the university of Adelaide. I am from Italy and I have been living in Australia for almost 6 years, working in Sydney for most of the time. Before coming to Australia, I studied and worked in the USA. Throughout my past living experiences, I successfully shared houses with other people from different countries, cultures and sex for more than 10 years. I am a quiet, tidy and responsible person who is very considerable of other people living with me. I am sociable and enjoy having a chat with other housemates when available, but I also like to have some privacy as well as respect the privacy/downtime of my housemates. I work full time during the week and I like to go home to cook my dinner and relax in the evening. During the weekend I enjoy riding my bicycle, reading, watching movies and travelling around. Looking to share a house/apartment with equally responsible housemates. Cheers, Mario
Moving from Wollongong to Adelaide for Uni. Super easy going, friendly and clean. I will be at Uni 3-4 days a week. Will give you your space but also happy to hang and have fun whenever you want
I'm quiet and clean. Sociable over coffee or wine. I think it's nice to be friends with your housemates. I work 9-5. In my spare time I like to go running (ok, it's more like jogging), read lots of things, and explore Adelaide (preferably with wine).
I have lived in shared accommodation in the past and understand how they work and what is expected of me as a housemate. I have anxiety and tend to be quite shy until I get comfortable where I can become very talkative. I can cook, clean and manage my own space and tidy up after myself. I’m not a huge fan of conflict so I try to be as polite and respectful as possible. I also have a small 6 year old cat whom I would love to bring with me. Her personality is much the same as mine as she tends to take time to warm up to people but only takes a couple weeks to learn her place with other cats. If it’s an issue to have her with me, I have family willing to care for her. I’m currently doing an online course in Community Services but am hoping to take advantage of the study group that is running in Hindmarsh and for the first few weeks I’ll probably be out applying for jobs
Hello, My name is Alice! The lease on my current share house is ending and we've decided to part ways, I've been living in it for over a year. I ideally want to keep to Prospect and the surrounding suburbs, as I love it here and never want to leave. I will be studying come July and am currently volunteering for two organisations. A heads up, one of these require me to be on call 8pm-8am, occasionally. I'm a fantastic cook and I'm very clean and tidy. I would love to cook for my housemates as I've not yet had the chance. I'm also big on recycling and composting. I'm happy in my own company but I can be equally sociable and would be very happy to have a glass of vino or dinner with you. I enjoy going out for coffee, visiting art galleries and a night out in town from time to time! My interests include; art collecting/galleries, going antiquing and op-shopping, watching indie and foreign films, listening to and collecting music, trying new restaurants and I love gardening-I'm not joking when I say I have 32 pot plants. The lease is technically ending on the 20th but I am available to move from approx the 6th. I know as well as you that looking for a new housemate can be an awkward and sometimes tedious job, but just like you I'm trying to make it as pain free as possible. Please feel free to ask me any questions, I'm looking forward to meeting you! P.s. I have 2 (retro) armchairs and a couch if you're looking for them, as well as a house mate.
I'm Kevin, 24 years old; from India. I'll be studying in UniSA City West campus. I'm looking for a furnished room in a house or flat (long term), preferably in the vicinity of my campus. I'm well organised, tidy, quiet and respect personal space. My hobbies include travel, cooking, photography and gym. I'm looking to live with people who are easy-going. Please do ask if you'd like to know anything more. Thanks
I recently moved to South Australia from Victoria. I'm hoping to live near Norwood where I work, otherwise Adelaide or near the Klemzig or Paradise interchanges. Pets are great but I don't have any of my own - If you have a dog I would love to walk and play with it (and hug it forever!) if that's okay! I love gardens, parks and the bush but it's also fine if the property doesn't have outdoor space. I'm not a huge cook, so if you love to cook for hours or if you're particular about your kitchen or have diet or religious restrictions I won't be in your way. However, I do love to bake some goodies to share regularly! :) I like to keep things clean, so a dishwasher in a shared house would be lovely, but not essential at all. A non-shared bathroom or en-suite would be fantastic. I'm happy to share it with visitors to the house. I love experiencing and sharing all kinds of media and art: movies, books, tv, art, music etc. I'm a computer science programmer by trade, and maybe.. occasionally... just sometimes... I'm a total geek :) I'm an occasional social drinker, but am happy to respect an alcohol free house. I love to kick back with a movie or netflix followed by a drink and a chat! I'm open minded and love it when others share their perspectives and experiences. When I'm in the middle of a fun or engaging discussion, meeting new people, or geeking out over a shared love, I'm quite lively and talkative, but I'm an introvert at heart who also loves to read or draw for hours on end, so if you're a private person that's cool too :) I'm looking for a completely non-smoking house indoors, but where it's okay to smoke outside occasionally. I have quit all but a few a day when stressed, but can't stand the smell! I'm currently staying with family, so I can move any time. I don't have a required length of stay but at least more than 3 months would be great, and I am happy to commit to a longer duration like a year if required. I hope this gives you a good idea of who I am and what I'm looking for and I look forward to hearing from you, Cheers! I hope to meet you soon!
HI!! I am a physiotherapist, easy going , tidy and friendly person. I am moving to Adelaide from overseas. I like making new friends sociable over wine/coffee but also respect other`s privacy. Looking for like minded people to share a house with.
I'm 20 years old and currently in Queensland. I will be moving to study International Development at Adelaide Uni in July. I'm fairly introverted and quiet and like my own space. I don't party or drink and am very respectful/ don't like drama. Chilled out vegan. Love cooking, gardening, yoga, nature, exploring new places. I have a friend in Adelaide who can check out places for me.
Hey guys I'm looking for a room to rent in a house located in either norwood or the city. I work a lot and also am at uni so I'm fairly easy to live with and i like to be pretty quiet when I'm home. I do require a large bedroom with built in or walk In robes. I am wanting to live in a fairly modern house with like minded people If you have anything available feel free to message me 😊
Spritely young gal, tidy, considerate, easy going. Looking for a fun share house, with like minded youthful people. Don’t mind a good chat and a g&t every now and then. I work full time and sleep a lot. Require adequate oven for baking addiction, I can’t eat what I make so there is always surplus dessert up for grabs.
I am easy going I have a good personality , I am immaculate when it comes to keeping my room and place clean. I am like to keep fit and healthy i enjoy the gym, and going to beach . I have relocated to Adelaide from Perth I have started a job working on The Ghan and Indian Pacific Train So I sometimes be away for sometimes up to a week. Looking for somewhere close to city. Hello future housemates, My name is Ali, I'm from Dubai, practically born and raised there but life is all about new chapters and I'm moving to Adelaide in mid July with my wife to start a new chapter. I'm a Marketing & Advertising professional and will be looking for a job in Adelaide. I've studied from the University of Wollongong, have great linguistic skills (actually know 5 languages), if you're interested you could probably learn a new language :) Ayesha is also from Dubai, born and raised there and was a BBA student before we decided to move cities. Hopefully once we are settled she'll continue her Bachelors degree in Adelaide. However before that she'll probably be looking for work and enjoys cooking. My wife and I love to keep things tidy and always clean up after ourselves, having said that we'll do the dishes, laundry, clean up the place, etc. I love sports, whether that's playing, watching or discussing, I also try to keep fit so you wont have a couch potato as a housemate, however Netflix and chill doesn't sound like such a bad idea. We enjoy getting to know new people and will ensure you are comfortable during our stay together. Having said that we can stay to ourselves and keep the volume down so wont get in your way if you prefer that. Either way respect is what matters most :) We are all in for a team-up and starting a new place, share the utilities expenses and what not. Look forward to hearing from you soon. :)
I've been in shared living for the past 10+ years and have met some amazing people and made long standing friends. I am young in spirit and appearance whilst also being mature and grounded. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place to relax at the end of work, with the option of being able to invite friends over for the odd dinner. One friend in particular plays acoustic guitar + vocals, so it would be great if you're open to having them visit. I'm hoping to find friendly housemates who are preferably either students or working professionals. I'm not a bathroom hog (if it can be done in my bedroom I'm out) and am very handy to have about (think MacGyver lol). I'm looking for a decent sized room, preferably with a large wardrobe and no carpet (or at least new and clean - I'm very sensitive to dust mites :/). It would also be great if there's a study area or a place to put a desk. Oh, and it may sound odd, but I prefer a front loader washing machine. My max preferred price is inclusive of essential bills, but is negotiable for the right place. Move in date flexible too - looking to move around the end of June, before July 17th. I'm working in the CBD and am hoping to commute via public transport. I do however have a car. I like to keep fit and eat healthy, enjoy outdoor exercise, and have a Goodlife Gym membership. I'm a mixed bag - scientist, makeup artist, handy woman, etc. I look forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a clean & neat person, and generally pretty quiet. I prefer share houses where it's communal living rather than people living under the same roof with minimal interaction. Pretty handy in the kitchen when time allows. Uni educated but now work full time in sports administration and have a side project which keeps me busy. I often work or travel on weekends so you'll have large chunks of time where you won't see much of me! I try and keep active and am generally very health conscious - don't smoke etc and rarely drink. Probably drink too much coffee - so hopefully you won't hold that against me!
We are an easy-going couple and will respect your personal preferences which means we can be sociable if you want to socialize or we can stay put if you want to be left alone. We're very tidy and we cleanup after ourselves well. I, Rose Ann, love cooking and baking and I'm more than happy to share. My husband Gem loves online games and is a great conversationalist. We're both IT professionals specializing in software testing.
Hi I am quiet, respectful but love to chat! Love hiking and playing guitar. I'm a scientist (ecology and evolutionary biology) so I can tell you interesting things about plants and animals!
