Hi! I'm an apprentice hairdresser at Sfumato Hair (2nd year), working full time. I love video games, motorbikes, playing guitars (quietly!), and anything directed by Edgar Wright. - If you guys feel like hanging out I'm usually keen, but if not I'm perfectly happy to put my headset on and stare at a screen for several hours. - I am currently working Mon-Fri so I can only come in to check out houses from 7pm and onwards on those days (free on weekends). - Don't have any pets but I love them all the same. - My only real requirement is to have a spot to put my PC desk that is close to an ethernet port (wifi doesn't really cut it, sadly). - Had about half a year of out of home living so far and haven't had any issues at all from any roommates or neighbours yet :) - Feel free to add me on facebook
I am originally from Germany, but have been living in Tasmania for over four years. I am quiet, tidy and enjoy cleaning. In my spare time I like to study and read and go hiking. I like the outdoors and love travelling. It would be nice to not only find flatmates, but make some new friends as well.
Hi! I’m a student in grade 12 at Elizabeth College. I work at Hill Street in West Hobart and I’m also a reservist in the Defence Force Army. I have also worked as an office cleaner for four years. I’m looking for affordable accommodation for myself that is within bussing distance to my school. I have been brought up in a loving, hard working family. I would love to live with other young people who can work well as a team. Thank you!
Ola, weird gal from Queensland, 24, got my feed of city life after living in melbournia for several years and am ready to move on. Beginning study at UTAS in Feb, work hospo currently but hoping to get out eventually. Looking to move asap. I'm pretty laid back as long as everyone is putting in/doing fair share ect. Clean as hell, respectful, bit of a home body; love cooking, eating, gym, climbing, animals, playing music, camping/hiking and reading. Always up for a bit of a chat but need alone time as well. Like parties occasionally but it's not really what I want to be surrounded by when I'm at home trying to relax or study etc. Definitely important we get along but in saying that I'm pretty easy going and honest so as long as we can have a normal conversation we'll be sweet. Can be annoying due to aloofness, inability to remember things people say and non-apologetic cackle laugh. Sorry. Thoughtful and abrasive. Ups to free speech and diversity. ok i think this enough, peace
I am studying fine arts at the Uni of Tas and working as a freelance muralist and Tom is a carpenter studying drafting. We are respectful, clean, tidy and friendly. Looking for a place to call home :)
Hey I'm Grace, I've spent two years living alone and managing my own tenancy but I'm looking for a new place to share with a group of groovy people who can relate. I work most week nights and attend Tafe so I would hope to find people with similar goals to be working and/or studying. I should probably have more hobbies than I do but I love making art and petting cute dogs counts yeah? I'm also on Centerlink for studying whilst living independently so I am able to pay rent and responsible enough to have savings for bills and emergencies. I have a really good record with my current landlord and am only leaving in the hopes to find a bigger place and other folks to share somewhere with. If you feel we could get along shoot me a message or even if you just have some questions.
Hello! I'm a 29 year old, full time worker, non smoker currently living in Hobart. I'm looking for a room within the greater hobart area. I come with a 7 year old rescue greyhound, Dolly. She's very quiet and well mannered and sleeps for most of the day. I'd like to think of myself as very friendly and easy going, i'm quiet but social and very much respect your space and privacy. When I'm not at work, I'm either out hiking/camping/enjoying the outdoors in some capacity or relaxing with a book/record/glass (or bottle) of wine.
My name is Oscar and I have just moved down to Tasmania from Queensland so I'm still new to the area, looking for a new place. I like to play games in my spare time and walking though national parks and trails. like having pets around. I like to keep the house tidy. Bit of a nerd, don't party at all. Currently unemployed due to the move down but I am looking to get into security as a career.
Moving down from Melbourne to start at Utas. I'm 26 and for the past few years have been travelling Australia and Europe, working in Outdoor Education. I'm easy-going and accustomed to living respectfully in shared accommodation.
I am a current BICT student at UTAS, and an IT Services staff member at the same university. I have been homestaying for the past 3 years in New Norfolk but due to the time spent on the road every day, I have decided to look for accommodation closer to campus . I am a clean, tidy, quiet, organised person. I like to socialise, but I also enjoy private times and I respect others' needs. Hobbies include photography, bushwalking, physical activities, and adventures. I am a hardworking student who also enjoys helping other students out if they are struggling. I have been nominated for ITS Service Excellence Award just 2 years into my job - which shows my work ethics and the type of person I am. I would prefer to start a sharehouse with a group of people - preferably uni students. If possible, I would prefer a house in Kingston due to my volunteering with Tas Fire Service. Move in times are highly flexible but certainly before Semester 1 2018. I don't have pets, but I don't mind people having pets (as long as they keep the house reasonably clean).
I'm moving over to Hobart the second week of April, i currently live in Vic. I'm currently studying business and will be working casually.
Hi I'm Iain, A 25 year old recent Physio grad relocating to Hobart for work. I'm a social person, who loves the outdoors. My favourite hobbies include basketball, surfing, camping and snowboarding. I enjoy living an active healthy lifestyle. I've lived in share houses previously in Melbourne & coastal Victoria. I am clean and respectful of house rules. I'm a relaxed, friendly and easy going person.
I'm currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts at UTAS Sandy Bay campus. I'm quite, tidy and respectful. I mostly keep to myself, (bit of an introvert) but I'm very friendly, polite and more than willing to do my share of the housework. I love reading books, playing Volleyball and watching anime. Please message me :)
My names Djati (jardy) I'm 23. I want to move (back) to Hobart from NSW as i have good friends, family and work connections there. I have lived in several sharehouses in the past in which i have enjoyed the lifestyle and making new friends. I have never had any problems with previous housemates in the past infact quite the opposite. I have a good understanding of sharehouse dynamics and what it required to maintain a good environment to live in. I am a super open minded person and am positive 99.999 percent of the time. I play guitar quite well and love to sing on occasion. I love sports and getting out and about, also enjoy being social. I'm well spoken, quite intelligent and what i would consider an ideal housemate/mate to have. I have guaranteed work in hospitality and potential for work in construction. It has been difficult to get this opportunity but I'm hoping someone will know quality when they see it. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask away. I look foward to hearing from you :)
Due to my current rental ending I am in search of another. I'm a pretty laid back person, a majority of my spare time is either spent studying or gaming. I am usually out most weekends and am a full time student. I enjoy baking when I can and am not messy at all. I would prefer something within walking distance to North Hobart, if that was the case my rent pw could be $160-170. If not then my rent pw would need to be $150. I enjoy my own space and would prefer people who do as well.
My partner and I have recently moved to Hobart to pursue a professional career, as I am a qualified chef, and to study, as he will be attending UTAS for paramedicine. Since we have just moved here we find great enthusiasm in exploring everything Hobart and the greater region has to offer. We tend to be fun and respectful people who are happy both enjoying time with new friends or taking time to ourselves. I have already secured a job as a Chef in our short time here and my partner is applying for part-time positions to fit with university. We are neat, non-smokers who don't mind their fair share of cleaning or chores. Hope to hear from you soon,
