Hello! My dog and I are looking for a place to call home in Launceston early next year. Beth (the dog) is a year old Kelpie x Lab rescue, is house trained, very sweet and loves all things great and small. She and I found each other after I returned home to Australia after 6 years away overseas working and travelling. Now that I am home I will be studying education and teaching. I am a very open minded and accommodating person, I clean up after both my dog and myself, I love gardening and cooking dinner for friends, but mostly you will find Beth and I either outside on a walk/camping or curled up in my room reading/listing to music/drawing/studying. I enjoy a glass of wine and love a good movie night. Last but not least, I certainly respect other peoples privacy.
I am 23, I am a female moving from NSW to Tasmania to study and work! I have very close friends in Launceston so am not completely new to the area. I Have a very cute and well behaved Dachshund called Jaxin. He is very easy to live with! I usually keep to myself. I am responsible and clean, happy to socialise and meet new people but want somewhere I can call home and relax in.
Hi there :) My name is Ai originally from Tokyo, Japan. It’s been 4+ years since coming to Australia. I’ve got a full-time job as a chef in Launceston, moving on 13th Nov and looking for a room to settle. I’m 32 years old and quiet, tidy, clean and respect other people’s privacy, but I enjoy chatting :) I love walking, writing, reading, watching, having a coffee, music, sleep on my day off. I’m also excited to explore nature of Tassie.
I'm looking for work post-uni and also looking for a flatmate to share a place with. I've lived in a dorm for 4 years and I'm conscious of how to make living with people as easy as possible. Currently I'm looking for a 6-month stay length, as I'm not certain if I will be finding employment in Launceston or Hobart. I will have a clearer answer in mid-December, so just put me on-hold for the moment, especially if you're in the same situation as I am! I am not much of a chatter, but I do enjoy having deep and meaningful conversations with people. I enjoy talking about all kinds of topics (except sports, sorry!) and I also enjoy sleeping, baking and playing video games on my day off. I also love outdoor trips and would love to explore more of Tassie. I wouldn't mind getting a cat or a dog, or if you already have your own pets, that's fine with me too!
From Melbourne, working full-time at Launceston General Hospital from Feb 2020. Current contract is one year, but may be extended. Will occasionally have to ninja out in the middle of night due to on-call committments. Wouldn't mind eating, drinking and hanging out with potential flatmates, balanced with "me" time. Could live with furry friend(s). Allergic to cats but in the past have lived with one for over a year and became systemically de-sensitised. Always up for a hit of tennis or a cycle!
Honestly? I’d rather be living alone and I’m happy to basically conduct myself that way. That doesn’t mean I’m rude or messy or inconsiderate, the opposite in fact. I just don’t need to be codependent. Also I’ll probably shut the door and be alone a lot. It’s not because I don’t like you, I just need a lot of alone time.
I have travelled quite a bit and enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories. In the past I have shared my home with many travellers and I have total respect for others needs for privacy and care in a share house situation. I'm a busy person and love to be outdoors when I have free time. I enjoy listening to music, love watching the arts and pottering amongst plants and am forever learning through books and studying. I sadly have left my pets behind, but wouldn't mind sharing a house with animals. I'd really love to have the opportunity to meet a prospective flat mate -a meeting says it all☺️
