Hi . I have relocated from the Gold Coast to live near my Daughter and her husband to help out with the arrival of my new Grand child.. I have let out my unit on the Coast with my furnishings. Ideally looking for a furnished room ,tho Im happy to buy a bed . I am very happy go lucky and easy going young at heart . I am clean and tidy and mind my own business . I like a quite drink on wk ends I am very busy in my life and won't hang around the house day and night. I wish to live with people that are like minded , cruisy and easy to live with, like myself . I like to mingle and I also like my own space and will respect other peoples privacy . I enjoy walking swimming , water sports music and watch movies mostly in my room . I work in disability care and nanny baby sitting .
My friend Jess (19) and I (18) are both uni students who study and work in the health industry. We are lively, hard working and responsible. Ideally, we are looking for an extra one or two (under 25ish) people with a similar mindset to team up and establish a share house scenario (or two rooms) in the suburbs surrounding RMIT Bundoora, where we both obviously study but work also.
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 4m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
Heyy guys!! I just moved from the family farm to the city, I work in a law firm in Melbourne's CBD. I am friendly and always up for a chat, In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and being active. Feel free to call or text me :)

Hi there, I'll be working/studying next year and I'm looking for shared accommodation in the north or east. I'm quiet, easygoing but also social. I'll mostly be listening to music and playing videogames in my spare time but I really enjoy hanging out with interesting people. I'm approachable and non-judgemental, don't be afraid to ask me anything. Cheers.
Mature age chap. Very easy to get along with. Working full time. Selling house soon so need to find some accomodation. Very clean and tidy always ready to give someone a helping hand. Looking to pay any where from $100 for a simple room up to 200 with bills if it is more spacious and worth the extra dollars. Very reliable love sports, beach, watching worth while movies and good sit coms. Love to hear from you soon
Hey guys, I am looking for a room ( it's fine without bed, I got one ). Please don't too far to La trobe university cause I study in there and I don't have car. I'm friendly to pets ( except spider or snake ). I also hope that you are LGBT friendly. I'm from China. I have 4 years share house experience in Melbourne. 🤓I'm a easy going man and not a party animal. I don't drug or smoke. I always keep my room clean or tidy. Btw, I'm good on cooking. Sometimes I will keep quiet stay in my room or hang out with friends. I'd like to chat with new mate and learn new culture or language from them :) I like playing PC game or Xbox, or watching movie while I rest at home. I hope we can be good friend. I respect my roommate and I know how to keep privacy. Most important thing is, I pay rent on time. Please checking my moving time carefully, I can go a inspection but I can't move immediately. If you want to know more or have any questions feel free to ask. Don't hesitant and text me. Much appreciated for your reading. Kind regards, Alex
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne as of the 1st of January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks to two months, and furnished; everything else is open to negotiation.
Hi I'm Andy, working full time at a fun tech company in the city. I like to work hard and keep my head down during the week, but of course love the freedom of the weekend. I like finding new cafes (although I never stray from my favourite!), good music, gigs and in my downtime a good book to read. I'm neat, tidy, responsible (for the most part) and looking for similar flatmates to live with.
I come with a fridge, washing machine, lots of kitchen 'stuff' and a 2 seater couch! (also have a spare queen mattress); never late with bill money, rent etc; I have a friendly cat (but he doesn't like other cats); I keep to myself but am more than happy to share a meal/movie/drink/socialise (currently unemployed but seeking part time work which I'll have by moving day) Will be studying full time from March at La Trobe
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
Hey, I'm Megan and I'm 24. I work as a Nurse and Midwife. I'm in to health and fitness and enjoy going out for food and drinks. I'm an easy going and friendly person. I'm clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I love to socialise but still like to have my own space.
I am friendly, warm, neat and easy going. I am very respectful of people's space. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking and reading in my downtime. I like to play tennis, hike and would like to be able to ski more. I am looking for a home, for the next 12 months. I would like a spacious bedroom, welcoming space & under car parking. Would be happy to share in paying a cleaner.
Hi , I'm Irene 27 , Moving from London to Melbourne for the Summer till 2017 of June. I've lived in a Creative warehouse share with a bunch of creative people where we can call it home when I was in London. I have experince to live with others and I'm also looking forward to meet amazing housemate when I move to Melbourne. I'm a tidy person (but no O.C.D.) very social person but also like to be a listener. I'm a big fan of Outdoor sports but also love art and music. And I'm good at cooking ! ( bonus ?!) My reason come to Melbourne is for Working Holiday but also want to promote my business that I set up in London - which is selling Taiwanese street dessert. So I'm planning to do some pop up event in cafes and bars. very excited !! I hope you will find me interesting and give me a chance to have a viewing Looking forward to hear from you. Irene xx
HI guys! I 'm Elisa, a 27 yo Italian and emphatic girl. I 'm going to spend my Second WHV in Australia, from December 2016: indeed I'm planning to stay in the wonderful city of Melbourne (Where I've already got hips of friends, happy to introduce 'em to my flatmates) at least for 4-5 moths. I will start soon an University Short Course in RMIT as well, so I definitely need to find my place in this City. I consider myself a calm, ordinate and clean person, but always ready to share. I simply looove to cook, and I would be more than happy to hang out and create a positive environment and relationship with my flatmates.
Hi there! I'm looking to create a cosy share house in Brunswick/Northcote/Thornbury etc but also branching out to some of the leafier Northern suburbs such as Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Watsonia, etc. A little bit about me: I'm in my 20s in my final semester of my undergrad degree at La Trobe, majoring in Anthropology and English. I spend my time hunting out new vegan brunch spots, sipping cups of chai tea and hanging out with friends. I work as a nanny for several families in the inner North and work in mental health advocacy/policy which sometimes takes me up to Sydney for the day. I'm a feminist, queer friendly and environmentally conscious, so if these are values that you relate to/respect/are interested in, that would be excellent! I'm a clean person and considerate of shared spaces. I enjoy a chat in between life's up and downs but also need time out to unwind (doesn't everyone?). I have an extensive collection of homewares (enough to furnish a whole kitchen) but very little major furniture such as a fridge, dining table etc. so if that's something you could contribute, let me know! Zara :~)
I am a great housemate! Tidy, respectful, friendly and love to cook. I come with a Cocker Spaniel named Dougall who is fully trained. He just lost his sister and is very attached to me but loves people. I am looking to share with down to earth, busy people or a person. I love to socialise but also like my own down-time as I am in the process of writing a book about my juicy life so far. Lol. Hope to hear from you.
Hello, I'm a single man working full time, looking for a place to call home. I'm very clean, tidy and easy going person. If you believe that I could be your new flatmate, text me please!
A PhD student in Computer Science @ LaTrobe - of Sri Lankan origin. A super friendly person. Extremely easy going, respectful, cooperative, very considerate and tidy. I know how to be a great companion as well give people space and privacy :) A person with a variety of interests :) I love meditation, yoga & outdoors ( jogging, hiking, climbing), swimming, diving, ...beaches. Have a passion for drama, dancing and literature. Loves to chill, hangout, have a good laugh... share an occasional meal.. and loves kids :)
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
I'm a newly hired RN,will be working at LaTrobe Surgical Center on January 2017.I'll be working full time for 10hours a day per shift so I'm looking for a place to stay for 6 months preferrably with own bathroom.I'm very easy going and I respect other people's privacy.I love cooking but Im neat around the house. You will have no issues with me at all 😊
I'm Jane, I'm 26, and I work in hospitality and I've just transferred from Monash to RMIT thus the move closer to the centre of things. I've also just got back from a year living overseas working with an NGO in India most of that time, and travelling around SE Asia. I love travel and balance that with working a lot of hospo jobs to try and save $$. I'd be looking at staying here for at least 12 months though as I save up for a bigger trip (going overland from Asia to the UK in 2018!). I've lived in share houses for about 8 years now, do the normal sharehouse things like wash my dishes when they appear and clean up after myself, and I'm good at using the saucepan method of removing spiders from places without killing them. I like gardening as well, mostly keeping herbs alive nowdays, and wrangling in overgrown backyards if I can find somewhere inner city with a garden 🙂 I love a glass of wine, cheese platters, netflix, and chill drinks, and going to fancy cheap BYO restaurants and going out to gigs. I'm not really a party person, and I am happy to both keep to myself in a house, or be super friendly and hang out with everyone, I've lived in places with different dynamics and I'm happy to go with the flow 🙂 I'd love to find somewhere I can move into by the 10th of December, but can be flexible. Thanks!
I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.
Hi! I'm looking for a sharehouse in Northcote/Fitzroy North and surrounds, ideally from late December-early January (when my current lease ends). I will be working full time as a junior doctor, so will be busy a lot next year but would love a happy relaxed house to come home to, with housies who are up for a chat and a shared dinner now and then. I am neat, I swim and play tennis, I love wine and cheese and coffee and brunch, and I do some work for a charity in my spare time. Let me know if I sound like a good fit!
Heya! I'm a full-time teacher in the western suburbs looking for a new place to call home. I already live in a flat in Thornbury but I am looking to get into a bigger place with some outdoor area, closer to the public transport on offer in the same area. I can cook basically, always do my dishes and happy to contribute to cleaning etc. I prefer not to live with cats...
Becca - From the U.S. and am working full time. Just graduated from uni back home and am taking a year off from school here in Australia. Byron - Melbourne local studying full time and also working part time (~30 hours/ week) Both very independent in what we do and tend to spend a fair bit of time out side of the house. We do enjoy cooking at home most nights however are still up for checking out Melbourne's endless restaurants and bars. Have both lived in share houses before and like to consider ourselves respectful of all others.
I live just outside of Melbourne, so im looking for a place thats closer into town! I have 2 jobs and i am studying full time at La Trobe Uni. I'm an easy going person, who can get along well with everyone but i also appreciate quite time during the week if i have to study. With time off, i am a brunch enthusiast, love going to gigs when i can, hanging out with friends and seeing what Melbourne has to offer! I'm looking for 3 - 4 house mates and i am looking to pay no more than 200 per week! Looking for a place to move into with people who don't have a huge age gap. (preferably 18 - mid to late 20s) or making a share house with 3-5 people. Thanks, guys
Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months (around five would be ideal) with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
Hi we are Mariah and Niamh and we both are from country Victoria. We are looking for a share house for next year. Mariah is a musician and a music teacher full time. Niamh is a full time nursing student in her final year. We are looking for a team up or a pre-exisiting house hold. We would like to be close to public transport as we both don't like to use our car if we don't need too. We are both care-free people and like to have a boogie every now and again, but respect your private space as well.
Hi, my name is Kirrily 😀 I'm 21 years old and I just finished my first year of Uni studying Podiatry at La Trobe Bundoora. I'm super easy going, clean and I love going for long runs & gym sessions 💪🏽 I am looking for a place that I can call home, I want it to feel like a home rather than student accomodation! I currently work part-time as a bartender in Fitzroy & can make some killer cocktails! I am super into movie nights, especially scary movies! I come bearing a Netflix account 🙌🏾 , I love to bake when I have time (good for you if I live with you) & I do like the odd drink or dinner dates with good company. I'm a clean as you go sorta gal... so I'd be the last person to live a big mess!
I'm quiet and clean, I love keeping gardens and reading in them. Otherwise i like playing around with new recipes in the kitchen. I do odd jobs for a living to bring in money but have centrelink to fall back on when its not the season for work.

Like to do my own thing but happy to be soical every now and then and want to live with someone friendly! I spend most of my time at the gym, running or at work so I'm never home much. Interested in a room of my own with ensuite or own bathroom. Happy to share everything else! :) Neat, tidy and non smoker. Msg me if you have any other questions. Regards Bridget

I'm Morty (Alex, but my friends call me Morty). I work part time, make art part time. I take photos and write/record music (don't worry, I won't be making noise deep into the night though). I'm pretty relaxed, I like to keep things neat and tidy and am respectful of shared spaces. Looking for somewhere long term.
Hi! I'm Simon and I will be turning 29 in the coming months. I will be working as a vet in a northeastern clinic in 2017. My hours will be regular day hours but I will be working weekends every now and then. I will eventually have overnight shifts later in the year. A little bit about myself - I spent my teenage years growing up around the world, so I am very fond of people from all walks of life. I spent my early adult years in the army training military dogs. I would describe myself as easy-going, tidy and considerate. Happy to listen to your rants and talk about your achievements, but also happy to give you your own privacy and quiet space. My interests include current events, cycling, computers, and cooking. In my free time I do a bit of volunteer work with an initiative that helps the homeless and their pets. I come with my own room furniture, two couches that form an L shape and a small espresso machine. I may have the option of coming with all of the white appliances as my current housemates are heading overseas for work. Also happy to contribute to any shared appliances. My current lease ends on January 15, so I am looking to move anytime before then. My ideal housemates are tidy, considerate, non-smokers, financially secure and communicative. I have shared houses with army friends, partners, extended family, internet people and classmates over the past 9 years and gone really well. Happy to move into an existing house, but I wouldn't mind house hunting with the right people either. I come with a four year old, indoor-only cat named Gin. He is playful if you decide to entertain him but fairly chilled out otherwise. Never had any issues with previous housemates, their pets, and taking him and his items out of the house during house inspections. I change his litter daily. He is very low maintenance and I can bring him to work if ever need be. Feel free to get in touch if I sound like a good fit.
Hey there! I'm clean, fun, reliable and respect privacy! Happy to leave you alone or have a chat and a wine! I love music and art and am about to start my veterinary science undergrad at Latrobe so I'll be out of your hair a lot of the time!!

Hi everyone, I'm Sonia. I'm looking for a share house a bit closer to the city than where I am now. I work as a project officer in homelessness sector full time and looking for a cosy sharehouse. I enjoy cooking, martial arts and kayaking.
Greetings, the names Tayler, I'm currently from up northwest of Melbourne, approximately 50 minutes from the city. I'm looking for a place to stay closer to the CBD and to my uni (LaTrobe) to make life a little easier. I'm frequently appraised for having a mad sense of humour, whilst being extremely mature when necessary. While I do still live at home, I strive to pull my weight in regards to chores and other errands, and always clean up after myself. I also ride a motorcycle so parking is less of an issue for me (yay someone gets two parking places!) My main hobbies are; Video gaming. Motorcycling. Reading. And the occasional culinary experimentation (easy mac does not count.) I'm also a pretty big fan of board games. What I'm looking for; Like-minded individuals who also have strong senses of humour! Potential long-term living (more than a year) depending how things go A house equipped with NBN would be amazing *but it is not particularly a must* :) Hit me up if I fit your quota! I'm happy to answer any other questions you have to ask and would love to meet-and-greet!

Hello future flatmates. M relatively new to Melbourne. Recently completed my graduation from the UK. Now I am a Real Estate Agent in Western Melbourne. I have lived in a share house before and know the do's and dont's quite well. You will find me clean and tidy. I respect ones personal space and love to socialise. Because I am new here I would want my flatmates to be good friends with me, not just filling empty space. I enjoy music, movies, tv series, bbq, cycling, long drives, traveling, walks, much more. For the next one year i'll be working part time and studying full time. My friends say I am nice to talk to, cool, outgoing, easily adjustable and kind at heart. There will be no issue regarding the rent and bill payments from my side. Feel free to contact me, lets see how it goes. Cheers.
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year, and am looking for any nice place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm also easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
Am a casual gamer who works as a PCA in aged care and soon in disability. Am from Zimbabwe, laid back and am into movie, anime, metal and freelance video and graphic design jobs.
Hi all! I have just arrived in Victoria for the first time after travelling overseas, originally from WA, fun, friendly, clean and respectful and keen as to see what Melbourne is all about. Thanks :)
