Hey! I'm a tradie, aged a little too close to 30 for my liking. I'd say I'm a friendly fun person, super tidy for a male and am a generally happy person. Pro's: I can fix things, have a slight New Zealand accent, am social, and shower daily. Con's: Struggle to function prior to coffee, have a slight New Zeaand accent. Hobbies include - hiking, snowboarding, keeping fit and trying to pet other people's dogs. I enjoy having drinks with friends on the weekend but am quiet during the week.
Hi! I'm George. I'm a 28 year old barista looking to move to Melbourne from Newcastle around the 10th or so of June. I work full time hours at the moment, and while I don't technically have a job yet, I've got a few connections and lots of experience, so hope to find one pretty quickly, and then will hopefully work the same sort of hours once I'm down there :) I have a border collie x kelpie puppy (currently 5 months) called Monty, who has been described as "the Brad Pitt of dogs." Monty is a typical puppy, but in saying that is very well behaved most of the time. He's gentle with other animals and has been well socialised/I'm pretty obsessed with training (I'm going to also be studying dog behaviour with the Delta Institute when I get down there). I take him out lots and spend heaps of time with him, which means he is pretty chill when I'm out. I too have been well socialised and am pretty well behaved. I am looking for housemates who I am mates with, and sometimes hang out/debrief my day with, but I also understand the need for our own space. Definitely not keen on a party house. Other than that, I like to read, drink coffee, laugh at memes, be outside, and would (optimistically) love to have a little garden project to help out with. Anyway, if I sound like someone you would like to live with, get in touch. Thanks, George and Monty :)
I'm clean, tidy, keep to myself but happy to chat and chill out together. I eat far too much junk food and go to yoga. I work full time in a butcher shop managing online sales and like to read, watch movies, go for walks and talk over a glass of wine or beer or a good cup of tea.
Hey there! My name is Kevan (Yes, that is spelled correctly, I think my mother was still high on morphine when she signed the birth cert) I'm a 29 year old Irishman, but am now an Australian citizen also, which is sweeeeeet! I’m an electrical instrumentation technician by trade, working with a water treatment company based in Murrumbeena. I work a standard Monday to Friday 7.30 to 4pm. When I'm not working I’m either training, attempting to learn Spanish or reading books that would bore most people to death! I keep it pretty quiet during the week, at weekends I'm either celebrating the end of the week with a beer, out exploring somewhere new in the city or rock climbing. When it comes to house mate ethics, I communicate well and am generally a social butterfly so get on with all types of individual! I’m tidy, respectful of others and have no problem in tackling the daily household chores and maintaining a high level of cleanliness. If you've any questions feel free to ask me anything. Ciao!
Hi. I'm Alex, systems engineer, full-time working professional. I like photography, computers, music. I study Chinese, so if you are Chinese and ready to help - that's double win. My partner is a student. I'm looking for long-term rent in Preston area, close to Melbourne Polytechnic Preston Campus. Option 1: Two private rooms in the same house, for me and my partner. One room can be unfurnished, I have a bed and other stuff. Option 2: One furnished room for my partner only, I'll take care of myself later. Ducted heating and condition is a great plus. My partner arrives to Australia on 12 July so I'd be happy to get a room before that date. It's ok if I need to pay 2-3 week in advance to hold the room. If you have any questions - don't hesitate to contact me.
Hi, I'm Yash. Doing my degree in contemporary music, Australian Institute of Music , Guitarist, singer. Wont be much of a disturbance while practicing, but hey if theres music playing in the room you wouldn't call it a disturbance now, would you? Im fun, someone youl love to hang out. I dont smoke though. Movie freak, foodie, football(soccer)fan and the list goes on.Love to go out on drinks for the weekends, pretty chilled out. If you want to know everything here it self, youl be bored. Lets get to know more once we are roomies!
Hey guys! My friend Cameron and I have been friends for years and are looking to move out after July. We were hoping to find a third person and start a sharehouse together. Me and Cameron both work full time, but we enjoy socialising so we are looking for someone relaxed and social, but with the balance of respecting space. We really want to build a good and sweet home that is a haven away from the stress of life. We are both wonderfully bubbly and friendly people and would love to bring in someone who is happy to go out to bars and gigs, have a few beers, and possibly can fullfill the remaining vocals of Bohemian Rhapsody. I work 9-5 so feel free to shoot me a text before or after work introducing yourself, and your best joke and let's all meet up! I work in Hawthorn and Cam works near the city so we are looking at inner city houses with a nice backyard that are no more that $650 a week. Look forward to hearing from you lovely people x Inez and Cam
Hi, my name is Malisa. I am a 27 year old architect from Perth! I have recently returned to Australia from London and am relocating to Melbourne for a new job in Fitzroy, which starts mid June. I am friendly, tidy and sociable housemate and have lived in share houses for several years so well house trained. I am also ideally looking for a furnished room with a double bed in a friendly share house. I love checking out exhibitions, seeing live music, cooking, trying to grow plants and travelling! I am hoping to find a friendly share house with a nice living space and perhaps even a courtyard or garden, which will be available by mid-June! It would be great to find housemates that like to share a glass of wine or have a house dinner every now and then! Please get in touch if you think I would be great addition to your house or if you are looking and think we might be able to team up! Thanks Malisa
I'm a Brazilian PhD candidate in Applied Economics and I'll be in Melbourne for 6 months to attend a research program at Victoria University, Filnders Campus. I'm 31 old, male, responsible, tidy and an easygoing person - really easy to get along with. I'm looking for a place with friendly people who likes a little chat, coffee and drinks in free time, but also respect the private moments. I like sports, cooking and get out for music, chats and drinks as well..
I'm a queer artist/carpenter, coffee and non-fiction are as good as gatherings and a cold bevy. My old doggo companion will fulfil all of your cuteness needs, very chilled and quiet border collie cross, she's more like a human/cat than a dog. I love having a good chilled family vibe in a place, makes it feel like home :) Move date is July ish but am able to pay rent from now.
Hey all, Full time student, work part time in hospo. Love to cook, grow asian greens, super clean and respectful Need a house by the 10th of a few weeks later, facing homelessness. Please message me if you have a place, I have been looking for nearly three months , and very desperate. *Please dont message me for a place thats over my budget, I cant go higher.
Hi there, I am 32 from Italy, I am a fairly busy guy, but I always have time for a chat or a beer. I study and work, so i'll be out of the house during weekdays. I am quiet, mostly a home buddy, but I don't mind to go out for a gig and share a laugh every now and then. I also like to spend a sunny day in a park, away from the urban noise. If you like movie nights, count me in. I like to have my privacy and I respect the others'. At the same time I'll not be the guy who is always in his room. If we end up sharing a house, let's try to make the most of it, let's make it a good memory, not just a motel sort of thing. That's why I'd like to share with good and genuine people. My hobbies include meditation, guitar, yoga and technology. If this sounds good to you, please, send me a message and let's arrange an inspection. If you have any further question just message me please. cheers
Nice to meet you ! I’m Emeric, a 21 years old French student in Melbourne. I am studying industrial biochemistry engineering. I have a busy and exciting life so far, lots of dance classes, squash practice, scuba diving, Netflix, reading, coffee breaks, brunch with friends etc. Oh and classes, sometimes… 😊 I’m really easy going and open minded, always up for activities and fun, but I also like my “alone” time. I cook pretty often and I can bake some good crepes! I like good talks and quality time with my roommates as well. I’ve been staying in a flat with 2 roommates for 9 months, but it is time for me to leave for new adventures. I am tidy and neat, so you won’t have the “not cleaning or doing the dishes” kind of problem with me. Cheers !
We are a young couple looking for a private room. Josh works in online marketing and is 29. Brianna is about to start studying and is 23. We are both friendly, clean and respectful. We love animals, watching movies, social drinks, playing games and we keep to ourselves a lot but enjoy socialising also. We are looking to move in ASAP. We are potentially the chillest people you will meet. :)
Loves to have a laugh & can take a joke. Can talk til the cows come home but appreciates the ME time. Cooking is most fun when I'm bothered which is often as I love to feed others. Loves to bake. Clean and tidy. Weekend lazy's in front of the tele is the best but are ramdom. Enjoy a glass of wine occasionally when chatting with friends. I'm a smoker but only do this outdoors. Cleanliness & tidyness is a must, but respect, trust and humility is what makes a home.
Hello! I am 24, female and pretty easy going. I like to cook and I am vegan. I am mainly looking for potential team ups/ house mates. I would ideally like to move out late 2017 early 2018 however in january 2018 I am going overseas for a month! I currently work part-time in the city, but normally pick up full time hours when I can. I study zoology but I am looking to change to an online degree. The catch - (if you want to call it that) is I have 2 cats (male, desexed), 2 dogs (one female, 10+yrs and one male 5+years) and 4 ferrets. These guys don't really require any attention from you and they are fairly well behaved. The dogs currently live outside during the day when I am not home, and inside they are in my bedroom so they don't require free range of the house, won't chew anything or mess anywhere at night. The cats are indoor cats only but are very affectionate and loving, Pickles who is currently 6mo old is very loving and needy (towards me at least), loves being up high and making biscuits (Kneading), Mouse, who is just over a year is a bit skittish around strangers but soon warms up to people and is very affectionate. The ferrets currently live outside in my garage, they are very low-maintenance and will not often require any interaction from anyone but me (unless you want to!) I get that this can be an overwhelming amount of animals for some people, that's totally fine :) ! I am happy to pay a bit more in rent if it meets my budget, or a bit extra for a pet bond or whatever.

*Pub Trivia host + Corporate event MC. *A professional VO artist & presenter. *Black belt in karate (12+ yrs) *Biomedical Scientist. *Speaks English, German & basic Spanish. Most people find that I'm kind of like the boy next door that you became good mates with when you were younger, who is almost like family as he will always be up for a chat, a drink or hanging out if you are around but also always has a few projects that he's working on so wouldn't be in your hair & annoying.... Think of..... A Golden Retriever.... but in human form.... (sounds weird until you get to know me haha)
I've just started working full time as a Veterinarian and would like to finally move out of home. Currently I'm doing mon-fri 9-5 but will soon be working every second weekend. I'm very into my music and my food and love attending gigs and going out to eat. Also really enjoy cooking. I will clean up after myself and be respectful of others. I'm interested in making new friends and meeting new people. I will likely be quite busy on days when i have work but will be more than happy to hang out when I have time. I currently don't have any pets however I hope you allow pets as I intend to adopt a kitten soon after I move. I'm wanting to move out some time in the next few weeks.
