Hi there. Im Andrew. Originally from Ireland but have been living in Australia since 1998. Im moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in April. I work full time and study part time normally although taking a break from study to settle in to Melbourne life. I have been interviewing for jobs already and will continue to do so whilst still living in Brisbane. I already have some great opportunities and want to start work as soon as I arrive. Im currently in the middle of a Criminology degree plus some other counselling diplomas. Im a music lover, sports fan, outdoor type so love going on weekend adventures out of town. Im pretty quiet around home when studying and always make sure to keep a clean home.
Hi, I’m Mathew, 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University. I’m very clean and tidy, respectful of privacy, trustworthy and do my share of the housework along with paying bills on time. I’m friendly, social and always up for a chat. My course is a handful, so I tend to be on the quiet side when at home. I’m looking for a place within 30mins of the city, with a large bedroom for all of my stuff. It must be near public transport. My interests tend towards the geeky side of things, I am very good with computers and can always lend a hand with anyone’s IT troubles. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink. Looking to move around Easter time, preferably earlier. Bond and first months rent ready to go!
Needing a room oh so quickly! In between jobs at the minute, moreso just getting back up on my two feet from being quite ill last 12 months due to a workplace accident. I will be at home during the days (till a job presents itself), only using my laptop. So, No I won't be running up heaters/ aircons just because I'm home. Money is not an issue! I'm quite the introvert, tho in a social setting I'm said to be funny as hell. I'm super clean, very much the clean freak. Very handy around the home and quite easy to get along with. Looking to share with similar peeps.
Hey there! My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and moved here to Melbourne in February from NZ. I am a graphic designer currently in the process of job hunting for nice and tidy place! I have savings to pay for rent etc until I get a job. Happy to pay rent in advance with bond. Rent and bills have always been a priority to me, they come first before anything and I have never missed a rent payment or bill in my life. I enjoy exploring the city, a drink or two and eating! I also enjoy quiet nights in and relaxing. Love music, finding rooftop bars and I love to cook too (amazing kitchens are a seller for me!) but I still appreciate Uber Eats! I'm really easy to get along with, very tidy and always clean up after myself - one of those clean as you go people! I want to live in a home where everyone takes pride in how the place looks. I am available to move in as soon as possible and happy to discuss length of stay. I am a very happy person and looking forward to making new friends along the way! I promise you won't regret living with me!
My name's Daniel, I'm 25, and I work full-time for a small consulting company in Bundoora. I'm easy going, I like to keep fit (runs, gym, swim, etc.) and I'm well house-trained! If you want a house mate that will tell you stories till the sun comes up and pat your head then I'm your gal! (I am also neat and tidy and all of those good things)
Hi all, I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a relaxed sharehouse somewhere north-ish of the city. I'm 34, and work part-time at a bookshop and teach part-time at Victoria University, which keeps me pretty busy. I also love going to any food, book, or film festivals that happen to be on. I don't smoke and have no pets. I have some furniture/house stuff but nothing I'm particularly attached to so I'm happy to pass it on if it's not needed. I've been sharehousing for years, so I'm really dependable and respectful of others. My move in date is flexible. If you want to now anything more, feel free to send me a message! Rebecca
Weekdays: 9-5 work at Swinburne as a learning technologist. Some evenings I'll go to dance class or catch up with friends over a dinner/wine. Weekends: Getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. I like cooking a lot, and I take my kitchenware very seriously. I am in a furnished house at the moment so I won't bring furniture but I will contribute some nice kitchen knives and other kitchen items. My wishlist for a house includes tidy and genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. I hold my weight around the house in cleaning, purchasing shared items like toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. My move in date is flexible, but If I get on the lease now, I may stay only for a night or two for the first few weeks.
I am a chilled out person. Into meditation, running and yoga etc. I like freestyle dancing. I am a professional in the IT field. I am mostly vegan. I like to hangout with friends, watch comedy shows on the internet, cook a little for myself. I tend to prefer organic stuff over artificial and chemical stuff. I am originally from India but last 10 yrs have been overseas including UK, Sydney and now Melbourne.

We are a couple of introverted performing artists who love the outdoors, reading, film, cooking, spirituality and exploring. Very easy going and we value kindness, compassion, honesty and openness. We have a well-behaved cat also. We would love to hear from anyone offering temporary accommodation, sub-lets, or a two-bedroom places, or two rooms in a share house. Many thanks! :)
Hey there, I'll keep things short and sweet. I'm currently a student however will be moving to Melbourne to a position doing administration for Jetstar in at the airport and require a place to stay for my initial three month contract which may be extended to three years depending on how it all goes.
I'm independent, considerate and well share-house trained. I keep busy with work as a junior doctor and other activities including: going out to gigs, seeing friends, learning languages (Spanish and French currently) and playing ultimate frisbee. Ideally I'd love a house with a good balance between independent and communal living, meaning a shared meal here and there but also respect for everyone's space.
We are 2 professional cat ladies, recently engaged and looking for a lease take over. LGBT friendly, clean and not after a party house. 2 well trained house cats, 5 and 10 years old.
Currently living in Melbourne, recently moved from interstate. I'm getting my masters in art curatorship at Melbourne University, so I'm a full time student, and I'll also be working at the Melbourne comedy festival this year. I'm really social, but also super into having my own space and respecting yours etc.
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities. Some of these are learning music, an eclectic array of DIY projects (from sewing to programming), and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. If not, best of luck regardless. Ollie.
Oh hey! We're Marco & Nu, a German guy and Melbourne gal who can put the mates in 'housemates'. We're a fun-loving, friendly couple who've just come back from our overseas adventures and are now looking for a more permanent home. Marco is a full time student and I'm a full time travel agent so we're both out and about most days but really appreciate some down time after business hours feat. baking, chill nights in, and road tripping on weekends. We're clean, reliable, respectful, and don't take ourselves too seriously and we'd love to find like-minded housemates who are also keen on the occasional shared dinner and boogie. If you think your household needs more freshly baked goods and a funny accent to complete it you know who to call! (hint: not Ghostbusters)
I'm looking for a room or to start up a share house with people. I'm Steve and I work in FMCG brand management. I recently moved to Melbourne to take the role. I'm easy going and generally like to have a chat and a drink/meal with flatmates, but I also know when people need their own space. I keep fairly active and ride to work most days. I'm an amateur photographer, a bit of a foodie and generally enjoy doing anything in a social environment. I'm a tidy flatmate and definitely do my fair share of the housework. I'm looking for flatmates with a similar mind set. Easy going, like to socialise and are working professionals. The room needs to be unfurnished (I have all my own stuff). Ideally I'd like to stay around the $250/week mark, but can go up to $300 for the right place. I'm also happy to consider a longer than 6 months. Hit me up if you want to know more or are interested in starting a share house/have a room.

Let me know if you would like to meet and have a chat. Karen

Hey! I'm a Canadian (from Toronto) travelling through Australia and decided I loved Melbourne so much I have to stay for a while. I'm running my own small company in the sustainable fashion space but also working full time. I'm very used to sharing space with other people so I'm very easy going, open minded and respectful. I love to cook healthy food, be active (running, yoga, hiking) and explore local events. I also eat a predominantly vegetarian diet so if you don't want meat in the house I have no problem with that.
Hey everybody A little about me I'm 26 and female have recently got out of an abusive relationship so Im pretty keen to find some good chilled people to live with, currently I receive a pension for medical reasons so no job but I still do have the money , and I am also a smoker of both tobbaci and the green thumb variety, I also have a Little poochie she's 7 and very small and very awesome , very arty myself wanting to do more but limited because of circumstance anyway I think that might be it without going into an epic novel life story lol gimme a hey if your interested in having me as a flatmate Jess
I'm a paramedic on working holiday here in melbourne, staying for just under a year. I am corrently working as a kitchen hand for my cousin, chef and owner of two restaurants in Collingwood/Fitzroy. I am renting in the CBD as of now but need a quieter place. I'm a 26 year old male, clean, considerate, minimal belongings with only a duffle bag of clothes and a bike. Im quiet but once well rested enjoy a good visit. I like food, different cultures and travel. I work late nights from about 5pm to 1am. When I get home I take a shower and faint straight away in bed, so no worries about partying or noise complaints out of me ;)
Hi there Here I am, a young professional (working in a law firm) who is moving from Sydney beach life (yeah, weather was not great recently) to an art and food capital of down under. I am looking for a room minimum for 6 weeks maximum.. depends. It's hard to understand what the place looks like and the vibe of it through the pictures and I don't want to promise a long stay and then to leave. I am a very social person, loving meeting new people, share the stories and laugh but I understand when is the right time not to disturb and sometimes require time for myself. Ideally I would love to stay in a tidy lovely house/apartment close to the station/tram stop with a lovely atmosphere and great people.
I just arrived in Melbourne and am currently looking for a room. Shortly, I am French and I am 23. I study cultural communication in Paris and I have decided to work in Melbourne for a long term job in Alliance francaise of Melbourne where I'll be in charge of promoting French artists. What I love above all is art, laughing and meeting people from everywhere. Last year, I made an academic exchange in Berlin for 6 months and I truly think it was the best experience I ever had. I get used to live in flatshares with basic rules such as respect or cleanliness. I'm an easy going girl, when I'm not working I usually like to spend the day relaxing at home or discovering new places but as Melbourne will be fairly new to me, I will be doing a lot of getting to know the beautiful area ! I'm flexible to meet you when it suits you 🙂
Hi! I am originally from the Chicago, US and have been living in Australia for 10 years. I am a full-time student studying psychology and I do this online. I am looking for a new place since being overseas for 6 months. I am not working now but, I plan on getting some part-time work once I am settled. Don’t worry, I will still be able to cover my part of the rent. ;) Finding a housemate who is respectful and considerate of personal space is important to me. I am a friendly and thoughtful person but sometimes I need time to recharge my batteries. I would be happy living with someone who is outgoing or more reserved if we can get along I would also prefer living with someone who has a sense of humour. I enjoy being playful and having a laugh but my humour is dry and sarcastic at times which sometimes people don’t understand. I think that it is really important to laugh after a stressful day! I also enjoy cooking (but not baking!), photography, movies, traveling and hanging out at the pub when I can get away from my studies. Please send me a message if you would like to more Cheers Vicki
I am a simple person who likes to be clean & tidy. Mostly you will find me engrossed in my computer. - IT professional - non-smoker - vegetarian - I respect others privacy & expect the same from them
Hi all! Looking for a room in Bundoora or surrounding suburbs. I have a lot of my own furniture but can store excess offsite. I am a very clean person who always tidies up after herself, loves to play sport, and works afternoons as a nanny.
Hi all! I'm a clean and tidy person who enjoys being social however also likes down time. I'd say I'm pretty outgoing and tend to get along with different types of people! I'm 25, studying and working part time and I always pay rent/bills on time. Currently live in a sharehouse so I'm familiar with sharehouse etiquette which I know can be a huge issue! Let me know if you think I might suit your house! Laura
Hey! I'm Saige ~ California native fleeing American politics at lightening speed. I'm 23, veg, and live for live music and travel. Picnics, festivals, and cozying up with a good film/book/furry creature are also prime hobbies of mine 🙂 I love adventuring and gettin' groovy on the dance floor, but I'm also a pretty laid back and tidy individual. I'll be in Melbourne for another 3-6 months, possibly longer because it's a hard city to leave behind! Cheers xx

Hey everyone! I'm a Melbourne born 27 year old working full time in the city and am currently looking to find a new place to call home for the next 6 - 12 months. I'm a very social and relaxed person and am looking to move in with people who don't mind having a chat and watching a movie or two, but are respectful that we all need our own downtime every now and then. I like to enjoy life, be it heading out for dinner or drinks, day trips to the beach or just settling back with a decent book or game.
Hi! My name is Giorgia and I am currently working full-time as a midwife in the city. This does mean I am a shift worker so my roster and working hours are a bit all over the place. I am therefore busy and will be in and out of the house, and sleeping at all times of the day and night. I am quiet and respectful when coming in and out, however I do not expect everyone else to be quiet during the day if I am sleeping-luckily I can sleep either way! I am a vegetarian enjoy gardening, being active if I have the energy, and reading/relaxing at home. I have lived out of home for many years and so have a good understanding of the need to be clean, respectful, and pay the bills on time. Looking for a 6-12 month lease, 12 months preferred. Flexible on location, so long as it is roughly 20min drive to city. I would like to find a place where we really enjoy each others company and we all become good friends, however I do also enjoy my own space and respect others as well. I am very interested in a team up to start a new share house. About the same age would be nice, no strict preference on gender. I come with an assortment of plants and a cat, Theo. He is three years old and very well behaved (indoor cat, Siamese). He is very friendly and loves nothing more than sleeping with people on the couch. He does not bite/scratch, or destroy furniture, minimal shedding. References (character/rental) for both Theo and myself are available upon request
