Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hey I'm Amy! I'm 23 and am moving to melb (from Townsville) to start my career as an electrical engineer. I am tidy, and on the rare occasion I actually love cleaning. My hobbies are photography and pole fitness and I try to make it to gym as well. In general I'd say I'm an introvert and would be fine barely seeing anyone around the house, but I do enjoy hanging out with people and don't have many friends in in Melbourne yet so would probably jump at the opportunity to be social.
Hi I'm William and I work full time mostly 6 days a week for a wholesale meat company. I'm easy to get along with and enjoy a chat here and there but also respect and enjoy privacy. I'm neat and tidy and love cooking barbecues :) I'm a non smoker and like going to the gym. Parking space would be great but don't mind parking on the street. Please feel free to send me a message if you think there's a place for me or if you have any other questions. Cheers!
Hey there! I'm looking to move to Melbourne as early as the 24th of January. I am an easy going, friendly and fun loving individual who is always keen for an adventurous night out or quiet night in. I have a strange yet adorable kitten named Tobio who will be living with me, so tolerance to animals is appreciated. I will be studying so to be able to have quiet nights in, studying is something I would enjoy as my classes sometime make me want to put my head through a wall 😂 Hope to hear from you soon, Denea.
I got a job in Melbourne and will be moving down in 3 weeks! I'm a registered nurse, working full time. I enjoy the outdoors, adventures and exploring. Love concerts and festivals, and making new friends. I like to work out and go to yoga and the gym. Have OCD with cleaning.. sorry not sorry - love a clean house. I have a puppy! Sausage dog named Frankie, he is 16 weeks old :) Would love to find a place with someone around the same age as me who enjoys adventuring, really want to see The Great Ocean Road etc.
I am currently working part time in the city as well as studying. The only pet I have is my cat. I am a clean and neat person, I usually stick to myself but I am always up for drinks and chilling :) looking for a room that isn’t furnished
We are moving from Canberra to Melbourne and looking for somewhere to stay until we find our feet. We are an easy going couple. Enjoy making new friends. We love to be out an about eating and drinking red wine but also love to chill out play games and watch movies. Both clean and tidy and can cook well! :)
I'm a friendly, neat and tidy low key kind of person. I have a 3 year old whippet, she's very quiet and fully house trained. It would be great if my future housemate has a dog to keep her company but not a deal breaker. My dog has lived with cats before and is fine with them. I’m usually pretty busy at work during the week, some weekends I’m out and about and others I’m relaxing at home. Looking for a calm, cheerful, quiet & relaxed house. I’m looking to move to the Western suburbs end of February/March.
I'm a pretty chilled, yet organised, full time medical student. I like to keep things clean and tidy as much as possible but I know that life sometimes gets in the way. I'm looking to find a room or a house where I can wind down and rest (often with my boyfriend by my side), but that doesn't mean it always needs to be quiet around me. I am a non-smoker, own no pets, and I love a good workout so I'd love some space for weights and a stationary bike trainer (but that can be negotiated).
I'm a 21 year old, male, full time, 3rd year Musical Theatre student who works part-time and will be looking for accommodation on a month to month basis for 2018 but happy to commit to the first four months. I will be auditioning for work on cruise ships all year but would give a months notice if I'm successful getting a job. I will be continuing my studies until December otherwise. I'm clean and tidy, not particularly noisy but do love good music. I have an easy going personality, I work hard (singer, dancer) and play even harder (mountain biking, rock climbing, park gyming, acrobatics), love a rum on my evenings off, like cooking so I love the look of your kitchen and I like most people.
My name's Carolyn 🙂 I’m a 27 year old, full time student at ACU (Currently studying Speech Pathology). I've recently moved out of a full time care position (living in the persons house)... So am looking for something pretty soon. I’m looking for something long-term and a safe place that feels like home. I’m neat, clean, friendly, easy-going. I enjoy BBQs, gig’s, shared TV show watching, films and music. I'm introverted, but like socialising. I can be a little quiet when I'm stressed. I like plants and the outdoors. I'm very much into respecting others and their space/peaceful living. I have a cat called Froot. He’s a Bengal, which means he’s non-allergenic. He lives indoors because he's a bit of a chicken :P I'm a relatively busy person. Definitely, not looking for a party house. I don't smoke or do drugs. I like a scotch every so often with a movie. I'm organised, with a steady income + rent assistance. I volunteer at the Children First Foundation. I'm looking for places with aircon, dishwashers, etc... Something easy to clean. With a small garden if available. I come with my bedroom furnishings, a couch, coffee machine, desk, bookcase, outdoor table that could be dining table, an extensive DVD collection, TV, sound system, plants and am grabbing more house stuff soon. So send me a PM and we'll grab a coffee or something Would be great to hear from you! Anything else you'd like to know feel free to ask 🙂
Recently moved from Adelaide. Friendly, neat and tidy. Enjoy meeting new people and socialising also just binge watching tv shows and eating food. Love animals and nature. I’m looking to move in ASAP 😊
I'm 24 and am looking for a place somewhere near Laverton. Having graduated this year, I have found FT work (teaching) and need to move out as I currently live more than an hours drive from the school. I like to think of myself as relaxed and carefree but will obviously be diligent when it comes to paying bills and keeping the place in decent order. I enjoy my sports, playing music and reading. Ideally, I'd love to live with others who are preferably sociable but are similarly respectful of each other's private time.
My name is Dino, I am a 31-year-old male Australian Citizen who works full-time in Fawkner, Victoria, Australia. I'm originally from Adelaide but have successfully worked and lived in Melbourne since 2015. I am always clean, tidy, professional, responsible, good listener, excellent rent and bill payer who pays on time, friendly, polite, happy-go-lucky and easy going. Always cool, calm and collected, anger is never part of my vocabulary and seeking a flatmate/s who has the same temperament. Knows how to adapt to the person next to me (ie when to be quiet and serious and when to have fun and be social). My closest friends tell me I'm successful, enthusiastic, generous person who makes them laugh. In my spare down time I love to keep fit through swimming, study, read books, play guitar (love my music but I know when to put my headphones on and time it so as not to disturb others around me), cook, play basketball, gym, and go out with best friends some weeknights and weekends. A big bonus if you are into the same sports, look after yourself, fit, polite, don't complain much, great verbal communication skills (you know how to help people without insulting or looking down on them), preferably educated and employed, enjoy going out whether it's travelling, coffee, dinner or nightclubbing and just overall enjoys their life with passion (we only have one life after all) and a cool person to have around. If you're also interested in the same things as me, feel free to drop me a message, I respond to every single one. More than happy to meet in Fawkner on either: my lunch break, immediately after work or weekends. I'm the best flatmate you will ever have! ;)
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Hi Guys, My partner and I are seeking a studio apartment or granny flat. Something big enough, self-sufficient and independent. Furnished preferred. I work as a Freelance IT Consultant while my partner is about to begin work at a dog shelter. Now what would make us great residents? Well we at present are renting a apartment in North Melbourne, we are quiet, clean, friendly and helpful. I love to cook, we love our movies and music (quiet), and certainly take care of the residence. We don't mind the odd house maintenance and we certainly are prompt at reporting broken elements. As we are due to move out as our lease is not renewable so i hope we can find something before then. We do pay $265 per week plus $34 electricity a fortnight. We are looking for long term so if you are interested in giving us a go don't hesitate to contact us. Before i forget i would like to let you all know we are looking in any area so long it is accessible by public transport. It would take ages listing all the suburbs :) Kind Regards, Daniel and Kristin
I've been working as a counsellor in a couple of places to start my Masters in Psych very soon! I'd love to find a house, like a "home" with people similar in age to me. I'd love to have a balance of fun and quiet/private time, I'm not a huge partier, but when I do I keep it in town, not at home. I'd love catching up with a few drinks, and chats each day or so. Hopefully find some compatible people around the town to share with :)
Work full time as a Safety Advisor at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, have my well behaved 11 yo son and 9 yo daughter every fortnight. My work takes up most of my time and when I'm free like going to the footy, soccer, baseball and catching up on sleep.
