Hey there, I'm Dave Montgomery I'm working full time currently at Brighton Toyota. I'm needed a new place to move too early 2017. I've lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm originally from New Zealand. I'm a single fun loving guy, I'm a hard worker, I love socialising. Looking for a great place for the next year.
we good guys we love helping out in the house we like parties and we like to drink wine and spirits
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I need a house with a yard with grass. I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Hey! My name is Kevin and I will be moving to Melbourne in mid January. I'm from bayside Brisbane but spent the last three years finishing Uni in Canberra. I've lived with others since I moved to Canberra so I'm pretty good when it comes to communal living and stuff (No, I won't steal your pizza from the fridge). Ive shared houses with both guys and gals as well. I have a job already sorted so bills won't ever be a 'next week' issue. I'm super friendly as well and enjoy most things fun in life! I love watching movies, snowboarding, surfing, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person (will be in Austria in December). My ideal flatmates are people that I could socialise with. I'll be busy at work most days of the week and most of you would be too but I'd hate to live with people I couldn't even say hi to or share a movie with. I'd say I care more about who I'm house sharing with than what the house is like. Would love to have a dog so if you already have one I'll treat it like one of us. Also cool to start our own houseshare. Just realised you cant even message anyone on here without having to pay. Feel free to shoot me a message on waterfordwest08 google mail
I'm 21 year old single mum. My son is 9 months old and a very happy and relaxed boy. I'm a clean and reliable person. Really wanting to find a place with someone else that wouldn't mind living with a baby. I'm easy to get along with. Currently living in Melton with family. Currently on benefits, but also looking for some part time work. I'm very adventurous and love exploring new places in my free time, but also love having horror movie marathon days at home. Contact me if you'd want to know a bit more about me.

Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
Hey I'm Sarah, I'm a Kiwi and have been in Melbourne for about 2 months now and love it! I'm working full time business hours (8am - 7pm) in the city. As a flatmate I'm clean & tidy, considerate, friendly.
I clean all mess that I have made, don't drink unless I'm out with friends, very friendly and bubbly, relocated from Mildura to Melbourne last year and lived with two males who made me clean up after them everyday.
A funny and chilled Colombian living in Melbourne for the last 11 years. Cause of my work i could supply fruit and veg to the house so if you have me you could have endless salads and whatever vegetarians eat these days lol
Hi, I'm Ash! I'm looking to either move into an existing Share home or to team up with someone. I'm a clean person who respects other people personal space as I like mine respected. However, I'll never shy away from a good chill out/catch up sesh, or a few drinks - Let's be real here. If you want to have your friends over thats great, just as long as they are chill too. I'd love to catch up with you for coffee so we can sus out our potential as roomies. Or we could just wing it! I have access to a Standard size fridge, couches... pretty much everything as Im not at all a rookie at this house sharing deal.
Hi there, I'm moving to Melbourne Feb next year to study and take casual work whenever I can. It will be busy so you might not see much of me, but I am easygoing, reliable and clean :-)
Hi I'm Tom I am clean and tidy. Helpful around the house and a general pleasure to live with :). I am full - time employed and when not working, I like to play sport, go to the gym and play video games. The House Looking for fully furnished room with a desk ideally, around $200 - 250, inclusive of bills and internet. Only really looking to live 1-2 other people.
Hey! I'm a 32 - year old Finnish guy who's starting his psychology studies on February, 2017. I'm looking for a calm and clean living environment with flatmates who are considerate and respectful towards each other. On my free time I like to do a bit of cooking, working out in the gym, and mashing some yummy brunch into my face. When the weather isn't too cold, I like to sunbake at the beach.
my partner and l are looking for a room that hopefully we are able to bring our cat and dog with. l am (Aidan) an apprentice plumber and work 5 sometimes 6 days a week but have a RDO every second Monday although sometimes l will work them. My usual hours are 7-3:30 or 6-3:30. My partner (Annalee) works part time as a cleaner while also studying allied health. Our dog (Polo) is very quiet and also very affectionate and cuddly. our cat (Bobby) is also very quiet and affectionate and cuddly. The cat and dog don't have a problem with eachother and aren't really too bothered by eachother. we would love to bring them with us but it isn't crucial that they come as they can stay at my parents. we're pretty easy going and clean, especially my partner.
Easy going, but definitely a fan of cleanliness and good hygiene! I try to live an active lifestyle, enjoy running, sports and travel. Socially, I love live music, dining out and sporting events. I like a cold beer on a hot day, or a glass of wine after a long one! Smokers don't bother me (I am not one) just prefer to keep it outside, please. Family and friends are very important to me, but most of my family live in Qld and NSW, so there aren't any drop in visits to worry about haha. I try not to take life too seriously, but do value basic respect and consideration. I work full time in business operations support and am a hard worker, always paying my own way and happy to help out around the house. Aside from that I would just say I am a people person, love to chat and have a few laughs, but definitely appreciate some quiet time during the busy week.
I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.
Myself and my house mate Rachele are secondary teacher's looking for a third person to team up with. We have been approved for a townhouse in Altona (3/14 Romawi st Altona) and will be moving in on the 10th of December. We have a lot of furniture between us but do have a shed on the property for storage. We are very friendly people who like to keep our living space clean and tidy. We both like to cook and enjoy a few wines and board games or Netflix. We enjoy going to the gym, going for walks, drinks with friends and great food. As teachers we are not huge party people (especially not on week nights) but we do enjoy the odd night out on the weekends.
I'm a very clean and respectful person, I clean up after myself and also others. I do smoke but intend on quitting, and I never ever smoke inside the house. I have a car, so a car space/parking proffered. I love animals. I most probably will hardly be home as I work during the days and at nights I generally am busy with rehearsals and gigs or other jobs. I do enjoy a good conversation and I respect other people's privacy as well as personal space. I do hang out with my friends a lot/dance crew as they're my only form of family here. Very friendly and outgoing person also. That's just a quick jist of things, any questions please shoot me a message!
I am looking to live alone, got to an age where that's the space I need. I am a young professional working full time and extremely busy so I'll need a place that I can come home to and relax, plus deck out with Kmart attire! I currently live in a share house and have so for a year and a half. I am a reliable tenant with payment and keeping the place tidy. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi potential housemates! My name is Tamsyn.Or, just Tammy for short. I'm a 21 year old full time animal studies student, currently working 2 jobs in the city. Living out of home for a while now, I understand the ins and outs of share housing. I am respective of others' space. I keep my things tidy and clean, plus I don't mind helping others out around the house with chores ect. I have always payed bills and rent on time with no dramas with a steady income. The best way to describe me: I am and little shy at first but when I come out of my shell, I love to chat and make new friends. I love cooking and baking (however I may or may not be terrible at it) I'm not a party animal, I'm generally quiet and keep to myself, however I don't mind going out with my friends on the special occasion (and even then that's if I'm not working since I work weekends lol #hospolife) Usually most nights you'll catch me reading a good book, binging on a bit of netflix or playing some Xbox. I also like to keep fit by going to kickboxing with my partner once a week I work in both a bakery and a bottle shop so sometimes I bring home goodies 😉 if that doesn't convince you I'm not sure what will! 😁 I am a non smoker and have no pets (however I do love animals) and definitely not into drugs whatsoever. I am looking to complete my diploma next year 😊🐶 busy busy busy! I am looking for somewhere preferably in the western suburbs as I've grown up my entire life around the west, however due to work, I don't mind the possibility of other surrounding suburbs. whatever can get me to flinders street easy and I'm happy! Ideally I am looking for flatmates that are of similar age to myself, 18 - 30 ish who are like minded, friendly and respectful. I am looking for a private room with a BIR, and, by a stretch, private bathroom. However I'm not fussy at all about having to share a bathroom 😛 Anyways if my long paragraph didn't scare you away and you think I'd make a rad housemate, please feel free to send me a message ☺ Please do not call or text me on my mobile, message me through flatmates, I am (almost) always monitoring my account so I'll get back to you asap.
Hello! I'm a 30 year old female working full-time Mon-Fri 9 to 5 in the city. Spent the last 17 years living and travelling between different cities and work has now brought me to Melbourne. Most evenings and weekends I am usually out rock climbing or hiking. I love travel, outdoor adventures, live gigs and movies! I'm always on the go so you may not see much of me at home. But when I do get some downtime I'm always happy to have a meal or drink with my housemates, or just hang out at home with a good movie marathon. Housekeeping wise - not overly OCD, I usually just clean up as I go. Generally I am quite chilled and try not to sweat the small stuff. Life's too short for that, right? Non-smoker and not into wild house parties. Preferably housemates who are similar in these respects and appreciate a quiet and peaceful home to return to. Love animals too and certainly won't mind if you have a cat or dog .... as long as they love cuddles and don't chew on my shoes!
Hi there! My names jasmine and im 20! Im extremely clean, not like that person who says they're clean and cant even wash the dishes, if ya know what i mean. I love a good chat as much as i like my privacy and quiet time. Im very helpful around the house and im very reliable when it comes to rent and bill payments. Im an artist and enjoy being surrounded by encouraging, passionate humans who enjoy the life they've been given. And i have an awesome little dog, oscar! Hes a small maltese x. And dont fear hes clean and has his monthly flea and worm treatments. Hes also toilet trained and very well behaved and i promise you will fall in love with him. He is an inside dog and will not be able to stay outside when no one is home. Unfortunately i current dont have a job but am positive i will before my moving date which is the 6th of jan. Although i am very flexible with any move date after getting a job. So moving could be earlier
Hi! My name's Em, I grew up in country Vic but have worked, lived, travelled and studied in a bunch of places over the years. I've just come back from a Study Tour providing professional development to grad teachers at monastic schools in Myanmar. I'm currently halfway through my Masters of Secondary Teaching at VU; I love my studies but they're super intense and often take up a fair chunk of my time, so there are occasional moments where I go underground for a few weeks when I'm lost in the study vortex. I attempt to remain as sociable and communicative as possible when this is happening, however! I do have alot of other interests, though; I love hip hop, jazz and soul music, dancing, hiking and and bike riding, op shopping, watching melodramatic spanish and french films on SBS demand and engaging in lively political debates. I'm vego, very enviro-conscious, into social justice stuff, I write cheesy battle raps/poetry and occasionally make collages and mandalas out of stuff I find. I've lived in a bunch of sharehouses so I know the deal: try not to be overly anal about anything but clean up after yourself, as well as being pretty chilled, easygoing and respecting others' personal space when need be. I'm down with communal share house stuff, as long as everyone has their own personal space and pitches in with maintaining tidiness, cleaning etc. So...if that sounds remotely like anything you'd be interested in, send me a message and we'll work from there.
Hi I'm a 33yo female in need of a fresh start. I am neat and tidy and keep to myself. I don't have that many friends so u know I will be quiet. I do have a 5 month old lab x kelpie an would love it if she could come with me. She is in training and is a very friendly dog.
I'm very easy going, clean up after myself, respectful of others, not in partying, enjoy having a few beers and socializing. Into my fitness, love the out doors and a regular to the gym, I do come with gym equitment that I would like to utilize in a garage only a few things, l come with a great natured grey whippet but dont think he could live with a cat. I'm working as a high voltage sparky, and also studying Criminology part time. And as a bonus u get my kiwi personality.
I'm a neat person who is a bit shy at first but when getting know each other I'm friendly. I don't like make noise so I'm really quiet ( People sometime doesn't realize that I'm behind because I don't make sounds while I'm walking Lol)

hello future roomies I'm currently on the hunt for a new roommate, a run down on the details so the place I'm currently at lease is slowly creeping up, so, therefore, I'm searching for a new place and with that, I'm searching for a new roomie. my ideal place is in the western suburbs somewhere between Newport to Seddon this gives you the closeness to the beaches of Williamstown, the city and city views of Melbourne and a great shopping day at Highpoint. about me I'm originally from NSW who moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for university where I study Entertainment management full time, alongside working full time in a restaurant in Williamstown (meaning there will always be Italian food in the fridge for you to eat), an advantage of this is you pretty much get the house to yourself 24/7, I'm tidy and respectful, but don't mind having that social aspect and wouldn't mind making a friend out of a roommate about you my preference on you would be tidy though I don't care about your room (that's your space), be able to pay rent and bills on time, wouldn't mind a chat or drink every know and then if you're interested in getting a share house please don't hesitate to give me a message
hey guys, i am coming to Melbourne to do my masters. i am looking for one roommate.. to take on a lease with myself, i am looking for something long term. but, we can do 6months to begin. i am a very easy person to be around. super chills. i respect privacy of course. but, i also want a room mate i can hang out with and have a friendship with. i will be going to school so monday to friday we have to respect each other commitments. i don't mind having people over. my friends and family will probably visit me as well . probably stay few weeks at a time and etc. but we can discuss that. anyways. i will be arriving to melb on jan 13. i guess i will airbnb for the first 1 week and a half. ideally i would love to skype and etc before i arrive so we can kind of get to know each other. we can arrange something that works for both. 2 bedroom & balcony is what i want. i will be going to Victoria University the campus on Flinders. ideally, something close to the CBD. max 30 minute bus ride. i smoke, but, you can never tell. i will always smoke outside. never inside. j am a vegetarian as well. i don't mind if you eat meat, but if you're a veggie lover even better! cleanliness is the outmost importance. we can arrange that as well. ** please keep in mind, i want to sign as lease.. so you must be willing to do that ** looking forward to meeting you soon :)) xo

Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
Hi There. Im looking for a peaceful home near the ocean. Im a very calm person. I meditate 2-3 hrs per day. (I'm a meditation teacher). I'm a positive person and very encouraging with others. I like offering support to people to reach their potential (I have a coaching background). I appreciate a home with a positive vibe - dont appreciate angry house mates. I don't want to be in a home where there is drug use or party animals..Im a good cook and I tend to lean towards vegetarian food with chick peas, kidney beans and plenty of herbs. Im a deep soul so I can engage in a philosophical discussion such as the meaning of life OR I can just be lighthearted and go with the flow. I do have a sense of humour. I dont smoke and would only have 1 glass of red if I was ever asked..I go to the gym 5 days pw so I hope there's an Anytime Fitness near the home!! I run my own seasonal event business and studying uni full time. I partly work from home and at uni 3 days a week. I'll often work weekends. Having the funds to pay rent isn't a problem. Over the summer I tend to not be around the house much, either working or at the beach. Going away for 3 weeks in Jan. When I'm about the house I tend to spend most of my time in communal areas, I don't shut myself away in my room but don't mind living with people who do. Happy to do communal meals once a week, share things like milk etc and chip in replacing these items.

I am a visual artist. Quite introverted and spend a lot of my time painting in my room but can easily socialise with those around. I love creating a home wherever I go and for me that also means I enjoy getting to know the people I live with and spending time with them. I am very easily approachable and very understanding so communication with me is ABC!
Hey everyone, I've just graduated from university and I'm starting full-time work in Melbourne as an engineer. During uni I've been living in a share house in Brisbane, and am happy to help with housework/cleaning. For fun, I like to play guitar, pool and explore the city. I'm always up for a bit of an adventure, anything from going camping to going to 7/11 to get a slurpee. Hope to hear from you soon (please swipe right!)
