Originally from regional NSW/VIC, I am looking for a great, new place in Adelaide from mid/late May-June (happy to be flexible) while I complete my final semester of study at UofA. I'm a mature 22 year old who currently works in fashion and is passionate about travelling to new and exciting destinations as well as have a great love for dogs (and cats)! I enjoy cooking and if I find myself stressed, I often take a break and bake - perks for you if you like muffins and cakes! I've previously lived within a number of families overseas, similar to a homestay situation, as well as independently. I'm considerate to those around me and like to keep both my room and common areas clean and tidy. I appreciate my own space while studying, but also happy to join you on the couch for a TV series or for a glass of wine and cheese platter after a big day! Ideally, I am looking for a female only place (will happily consider male housemates too!) where I can park my car, is close to public transport into the city and find housemates who have similar values and expectations. Would love to hear from you!
Hey! I'm Alexis but usually go by Lexi. I love listening to music (mostly indie and rock), hanging out with my friends and siblings, reading books (I love horror, romance, adventure, fantasy...pretty much anything really), and I also love to write- mainly stories, and sometimes poetry. I also write songs, but that's quite rare. I love animals, and kids- I'm in high school, and also part time at TAFE studying to work in childcare. I'm quite shy at first, but usually when you get to know me, or I feel comfortable, ill be quite extroverted and ill love talking to people. I love to be there for people when they need advice, just to talk, or be a shoulder to cry on. I like to spend time with other people, but eventually need my alone time. So if I end up getting up and leaving suddenly, its not me being rude, its me needing a break for a little bit. I love coloring my hair whenever I get the chance. I'm very LGBT+ friendly, and I don't judge anyone for who they are (unless they're assholes who judge anyone that's different). I also would love to live in a home that has animals or will accept animals being brought into the house. Mainly cats and dogs. If you have a lizard that's fucking great as well. I don't really like smoking, but if you smoke outside then I don't really care. Drinking is also fine, but I probably wont jump in to have any as I'm not that big of a drinker. Drugs are a big no for me.
I usually spend most of the time in uni. I like to come into peaceful house at the end of tje day. I dont party much but i definitely like watching a movie withe housemates once in a while. I like to keep my space tidy and clean. I love coffee and i like people who share the love coffee :)
I recently moved to South Australia from Victoria. I'm hoping to live near the city or between the city and Paradise, where I have family. Pets are great but I don't have any of my own - If you have a dog I would love to walk and play with it (and hug it forever!) if that's okay! I love gardens, parks and the bush but it's also fine if the property doesn't have outdoor space. I'm not a huge cook, so if you love to cook for hours or if you're particular about your kitchen or have diet or religious restrictions I won't be in your way. However, I do love to bake some goodies to share regularly! :) I like to keep things clean, so a dishwasher in a shared house would be lovely, but not essential at all. A non-shared bathroom or en-suite would be fantastic. I love experiencing and sharing all kinds of media - movies, books, tv, art, music etc. I'm a computer science programmer by trade, and maybe.. occasionally... just sometimes... I'm a total geek :) I'm an occasional drinker, and love to kick back with a movie or netflix followed by a drink and a chat! I'm open minded and love it when others share their perspectives and experiences. When I'm in the middle of a fun or engaging discussion, meeting new people, or geeking out over a shared love, I'm quite lively and talkative, but I'm an introvert at heart who also loves to read or draw for hours on end, so if you're a private person that's cool too :) I'm looking for a completely non-smoking house indoors, but where it's okay to smoke outside occasionally. I have quit all but a few a day when stressed, and hate the smell! I'm currently staying with family, so I can move any time. I don't have a required length of stay but at least more than 3 months would be great, and I am happy to commit to a longer duration like a year if required. Cheers! I hope to meet you soon!
I recently moved back from rural SA for work. I am experienced in living in share houses and have always enjoyed the company of having roommates of a similar age. -I enjoy cooking, keeping fit and trying to master various hobbies (current: ukelele and gardening). -I work full time as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the adult disability field and would likely be out often on the weekends also. -I love a good housemate dinner, with excellent homemade offerings by me to include: high-quality burritos, pizza, schnitzels, watermelon salad, thai green curry and soup with homemade bread. -I also have to offer an excellent taste in TV. This would include any 90s sitcom, reality TV, crime shows and documentaries.
I am a second year PhD student at the University of Adelaide. I am from Ghana. I would like to move into a house I can call home where all flatmates are friendly and easy to mingle with. The nature of my work makes me spend most of my time in the office. Please let me know if you have any room available in these locations. Thank you.
I’m neat, tidy, friendly and polite. I’ve been living in sharehouse for 4 years so I know the rules. Full time business student and part time work. Looking preferably for an ensuite private room but would consider other options too.
I work full time usually early or night shift. Im go with the flow, I enjoy quiet beers over going out but i still do that every now and then. I can clean, i can cook and drive.
Hi there, In a nutshell: I’m a third-year law student ideally seeking a modern, self-contained and/or private living space with other student(s) or motivated and like-minded individual(s) who are easy-going, yet clean, tidy and respectful. I’m friendly, very clean and tidy, financial, and lead a relatively healthy lifestyle; I’m a non-smoker, don’t take drugs, and drink only socially. My budget is $140–$180 p.w. and, ideally, you are the only flatmate (max. 2 flatmates). I look forward to hearing back, Nathan
Hey guys, We're a young couple looking to rent a room in a sharehouse for a year somewhere near the city. Enya is a full time nurse about to start work at the Royal Adelaide hospital. Joe is a PhD student from Ireland working in Mawson Lakes. Big time cooking fans, enjoy a glass of wine. Love watching movies and hanging out with people. Have lived in share houses before and look forward to the next. Cheers, Joe.
Hey, I'm Charlie! I'm a 26 yr old student studying education and working two jobs, one as an event designer and 'setter-upperer' and the other as an SSO (teachers aide basically) in schools. I'm Adelaide born and bred but have traveled relatively extensively to all the major continents in the world except North America (and Antarctica!). I come with an assortment of items needed for a house including but not limited to: a washing machine, a fridge, a recliner, kitchen table, cutlery, crockery, and potentially even a nice modern leather couch and a table tennis table (those are in the works!). I have lived in a share house previously and understand the requirements for living with people and pulling your own weight around the house with jobs. I enjoy working as a cohesive unit to keep the house clean and presentable but also love to have a drink and socialise with new people. I have a relatively active social life but also love to chill out and veg in front of the tv watching a movie with a bottle of wine or play some PlayStation. I play amateur league footy for Old Ignatians' in winter so my weekends are usually filled with footy and drinking or work so I'm unlikely to be seen much around then however am always open to new plans! I drive my own car and have been raised to be a decent cook and love to cook for others so there's a good chance you'll benefit from that!
I'm really outgoing and easy to talk to, but I also understand the need for space and alone time (myself included). I rarely drink and would never host any kind of events or parties but I'm more than happy fo my housemate/s to. I spend most of my time studying, reading or watching movies/tv shows or going out to meet friends. I'll be spending some day of the week at uni but I mostly study from home when I can. If you need someone to talk to I'm a great listener and have been told I give great advice, so I'm always up for a chat of any kind if you'd like :)
I'm kind, considerate and clean. I've lived in a sharehouse for the past 3-4 years and so am well versed in sharehouse etiquette and finding a happy balance between being a social house-family and getting some solo R&R. I keep active, enjoy rock climbing, trips to the beach, cycling to/from work, and other kinds of outdoorsy activities. I'm a working musician - I play folk/blues on guitar and vocals and gig almost every weekend. As well as this, I work in a music store and teach piano and guitar. I keep very busy with these things, and so even when not at my day job I like to stay focused building my music career. I'm currently booked until May which hopefully eases any concerns that you'll have a tone-deaf hopeful amongst you ;) I absolutely love animals but am highly allergic to cats, so any homes with those are firmly non-doable.
I am an international student at UniAdelaide who moved from Canada last semester, I transferred my degree so I'm not an exchange/study abroad/temporary student. I'm loving Adelaide so far! I love forming good bonds with the people I am living with so that we live as friends and not just as housemates. I am very neat and clean and respect other's privacy. I would love to live with people who share the same views, especially regarding cleanliness. A relatively quiet person who loves reading, cooking and baking, so frequent free tasty treats are given. You'll often find me curled on a bean bag cradling a book. Also, I love plants and gardening and going on impromptu adventures to explore the wilderness, camping, hiking or a sunset by the beach. (that's Hallet cove trail on the photo on a rainy day, thought I could outwit Adelaide weather mood swings) I don't mind having a night chat over a cup of tea and catch up every once in a while. :) Also, contact me only if you're looking for/ listing all-female flats. Thanks!
we are a friendly couple from Pakistan with a 2 years daughter. We are looking for one master bedroom in a shared property. We are very organised and caring. We pay bills on time and spend most of our time outside. My wife is a Pharmacist and I am a Civil Engineer. We love to make new friends.
We are both young and happy people who have a healthy relationship with each other, family and friends. We are respectful, reliable and considerate people who are looking to become more independent. We Love being outdoors in nature but also really enjoy having a relaxing night inside. We hope to hear back from you soon. Your regards, Eliza and Tristan.
I am quite reserved till we know each other better :) I like to stay in a clean place hence I keep my room tidy & clean. I work from Monday to Friday, office hours. Over the weekends I would usually go out to explore places.
Hi whoever, I work FIFO roster so I will work away for 3 weeks (during this time I will be living at my work and not in Adelaide) and then I will have 3 weeks break to which i will be Living in the house in Adelaide. So I will only be there half the time I like my own company but also don't mind being social or whatevers going on. I don't care either way I'm pritty adaptable I love animals and fitness and being active. I'm pritty chill and easy going and friendly. My circumstance is situated primarily around my dog as her wellbeing is my main focus; I am I particular looking for a housemate/s Who adores dogs and is willing to take care of her and love her as if she was their own while I am away at work - I will obviously take care all expenses involved in the care taking of her. My dogs name is Sabah. She is a o year old medium size mongrel (we think Staffordshire cross) she is a very lovable dog; Loves people and attention and is very loyal. She is intelligent and obedient and is not a barking dog. Most people always comment on how obedient and loyal she is and the ones who have spent some time with her baby sitting her for me have gotten attached to her. A decent backyard is also optimal. I understand my circumstance is unique But my dog is my priority here so please don't contact me unless you feel you fit my requirements. If so I would love to here from you!
I and my friend are looking for a room to share. I am quite a good cook while my friend has a contagious personality. We're quite handy girls when it comes to any mechanical problem or stuff related in the house. We are all easygoing and respectful girls studying our final year at Uni. We'd love to share stories but are very conscious with other's privacy. We'd love to have good fun with people around.
We ( Me and My wife) are working professionals and will be moving to Adelaide. We are a young married couple seeking a furnished apartment in or near CBD area. We're new to Adelaide and looking forward to make this our home as well as meet new people. We love to keep yourself and surroundings clean and well organised.
I am a caring and considerate full time student studying cognitive neuroscience who values privacy and will respect your privacy too. I am very clean and organised. Looking to move out as soon as possible (within a week or two) close to the city or close to public transport. Recently moved to adelaide from a small town so just getting used to the city. Ideally I’d like to ‘team up’ with another female and find a new place as I already have a lot of new furniture but open to just renting a room in a sharehouse. Feel free to message, open to all offers :)
I work for the Government for 16 years. I am quiet, matured, honest and reliable. I always pay my rent on time and have a very good rental history. I also have good references from former landlords.
LOOKING TO STAY ANYWHERE IN ADELAIDE. A littl bit about myself, and hopefully I will be the perfect roommate or tenant you all being looking for. I'm a full time student so I won't be around the house much. Usually keep to myself as the semester progresses. I'm independent and keep to myself but also a great person to have a conversation with. I'm respectful, easy going, open minded, responsible, and a bit shy at first as I'm in a new surrounding but always up for a chat. I don't have any pets (sorry I'm not pet friendly) and an non smoker (don't mind as long as it's outside). I am looking for long time accomonmdation, preferably would like to stay in an all female house, with people who are around the same age as me. Mainly just would like to live somewhere until I finish my studies. I would like to find a place to live that is either close to my campus or has easy direct transportation to the city (preferably links to train station towards city or a nearby bus stop).
I enjoy my own space and I am clean and respectful of my housemates. I work during the eeek and on weekends I spend time at Adelaide Oval watching the footy or at home watching on TV. Weekends I usually catch up with mum and have coffee. I enjoy cooking and yummy smelling candles :)
Just a real easy-going, country Victorian looking at making the move over to Adelaide in the near future. At the moment, the move date is looking like end of April/Early May, just working out things with work over the next few days. I'm a fairly social kind of guy, I pride myself on being organised, neat and tidy. Sport is my biggest passion and consumes most of my life, I enjoy living a fairly healthly lifestyle, I don't drink or smoke and I love getting in the kitchen as well, I'm no Oliver or Ramsay, but food is a bit of a passion of mine! Prefer to live on the South East/Eastern side of the city, however also open to other areas close by the to the city. Quite open to share houses due to being a good way to meet new people, anywhere between a 4 - 12 month stay would be ideal for now. If you feel like I'd be a good fit for your home, shoot me a message, I'm open to anything!
I work shift work at a fast food restaurant and like to come home to a relaxing environment. I am very self sufficient and am capable of maintaining a clean house. When I'm not at work I enjoy baking and reading, or going out with friends to the Movies or dinner. I some like to be left alone, but also enjoy interacting with other people.
I’m 18, super tidy, and respectful! I work part time as a waitress/bartender and will be starting uni mid year. I’m super easy going and enjoy fashion, watching movies, reading, shopping, listening to music, coffee dates, and spontaneous adventures! Looking for a room in a house full of super chilled out, open minded people! Preferably all gals!
