Chris is a student studying Computer Science in Melbourne and is working full time as part of his degree in 2019. Originally from Far North Queensland Chris has moved to study in Melbourne. After completing one on campus year and one year living in a tiny studio apartment, he's looking for a decent kitchen and a real fridge first and foremost. Generally keeps up with the uni activities and is pretty active on campus with events and clubs. Sociable and forms good relationships with roommates. Has a car and will need to park it somewhere. Also needs a desk to setup a productive working space. Chris would also prefer to have a furnished apartment, but would also be flexible.
I'm a 25 year old Psychology Postgraduate student. I am an Australian and Italian citizen, so I fluently speak both English and Italian. I am friendly and easy going as well as organised and trustworthy. When I am not studying, I enjoy either relaxing at home by reading, listening to music, cooking or doing yoga; otherwise I enjoy having a fun night out. I am looking for a cozy place I can temporarily call home and some housemates I can with time call friends!
I work as an apprentice mechanic. I work full time and keep to myself a lot of the time. Once you get to know me and I come out of my shell, We’ll get along quite well.

PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne and part-time Youth Mental Health researcher. Lives life to the full and believes in a good work-life balance. Love exercising, the outdoors and watersports. Very social so it is important for me to live somewhere inclusive with a good family type vibe, where everyone feels comfortable hanging out in communal areas together (apart from when some time alone is needed of course). Looking to rent from January onwards - I will be moving from Ireland so will not be able to view before then.
Looking at moving down for uni from the country. Enjoy sports, sitting down relaxing, having a chat, while always up for an adventure or a few drinks. Looking to share with someone around the same age if I was to share.
Hi all, My name is Ashley, I am a 28 year old counsellor doing my Master of Professional Psychology part time. I am looking for 2 friendly girls to live with in a sharehouse long-term. I am tidy and easy to get along with, but also enjoy my own space and respect other's privacy. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace, but also have a good chat and share the odd glass of wine or meal with housemates. I enjoy running, catching up with family and friends, true crime podcasts, Outlander and baking. Ash:)
I am a Canadian uni student coming to Melbourne for an exchange trimester at Deakin. After the trimester ends in June I plan to stay in Melbourne to work until returning to Canada in December. I'm easy going and love meeting new people! I am clean and respectful. I have lived abroad in Spain and Italy with host families. I enjoy yoga, the beach, trying out new foods, and going to see live music. I love both nights out and nights in spent watching Netflix. :)
Hi everyone, I am moving to the city from the outer south east for work. I am looking to move sometime around Jan-Feb. Hoping to find somewhere I can call home for the long term. I work in consulting full time and will be fairly quiet during the week. I am easy going and stay clean and tidy. I am a foodie and in my free time would love exploring Melbourne and also enjoy cooking.
Hi I'm Soula, I currently work 9-5ish in the city in Banking Looking for an unfurnished room and a place to call home. I am looking for somewhere in the areas I've listed plus surrounding suburbs-Stonnington and Port Phillip areas I'm a friendly, social, fun and easy going person. I am neat and respect other peoples space, People have told me I am easy to get along with I have both shared houses before and also lived alone so find I can adapt to environments and look after myself. Weekends are for sport, hanging out with friends, trying new things and getting out to enjoy my free time. I enjoy going out with friends for catchups or to cultural events or venues, movies, enjoy my wine and am on the path to getting fitter. Originally from Sydney but have called Melbourne home the last 9 years I have a few kitchen appliances such as Kitchenaid, Nespresso coffee machine and other items as I love to cook. I might even have something you need Any questions, just ask :)
Chill and easy going, like to keep things (mostly) tidy. Don't mind keeping to myself or socialising, love a few drinks on the weekends, not looking for a party house. Here in Melbourne to study economics at RMIT, but also working casually (25hrs) in the city during the week. Able to bring some of my own furnishings. Prefer a longer term stay (~1 year +).
On the weekdays I work full time and come home to bed, and spend my weekends outside doing something physical, catching up with friends or family, or else I’ll be inside catching up on zzz’s. I come with an indoor-only very clean cat that does his own thing and is pretty independent. He doesn’t like hugs or sitting on laps so he won’t annoy you. I am tidy and clean up after myself and want to find a house mate that does the same. I am more of an introvert and prefer a quieter house, but will always enjoy a chat or share in a bottle of wine.
Hi ! I'm Nathan, i'm a French jurist having a Master's Degree in International Law and i'm in Australia for one year. I'm currently working in a restaurant in Camberwell and i'm looking for a place to live. I'm very friendly, easy going and I'm always looking to improve my English. Looking forward to meet you and have a chat !
I'm Grace, I'm 26 and I'm moving back to Melbourne after two years in freezing cold Britain and a short 6 month stint in Malaysian Borneo. I am an eternal procrastinator so I'm still studying my undergrad at this ripe old age - but I am experienced enough to know the taste of a regular salary so I work quite a bit too. A little about me: I'm a total bookworm, bordering on nerd. I'm on to my second major now and I actually love going to uni (most of the time). In saying that, I love to head out for a drink, and am always looking for new adventures. If you're looking for someone to accompany you on a pilgrimage to eat boiled sheep's head in Iceland - I'm your girl. What I'm looking for in a Roomie: People who don't take life too seriously! People who are looking for a new friend in their life not just a person to share the rent. I love a home where the lounge-room is where everyone gathers, the kitchen is well used and the bathroom doesn't have little beard hairs all over the sink cos Bob was late for work this morning. I am (sadly) too old now for a 24 hour party pad, but say hi to 20 year old me while you're there! The usual suspects: Of course I feel I should mention that I have lived in share houses for several years, and so understand the importance of pulling my weight around the house, paying bills on time, respecting the privacy of my housemates and the other standard lines you see in these ads. I expect my new housemates to have the same values. Get in touch if we sound like room-soul-mates. :)
Hi, My name is Elisha and I'm about to finish my last semester at Monash University, studying Business/Arts! I'm looking for a place for around six months, as I'll be off to travel in August. I've been renting for four years, as I'm originally from the country, so know how to deal with all the usual responsibilities of paying rent on time, keeping tidy etc. I also keep pretty busy with study, work, sport and friends but love to socialise and hang out with my roommates and am always up for a chat and/or bev! Flexible with move in and out dates, but would love to be within a 10 minute walk of a train station! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi! I am a professional Musical Theatre performer and I will be rehearsing for my next show while I’m in Melbourne which will keep me very busy and out of the house a lot so I will not be very disruptive, and at home I like to keep to myself and am a very clean and tidy person, especially in communal areas. :)
