I'm an international student from France over in Newcastle for a semester. I like to go out and discover new things, I love to travel and hang out when I'm not working or studying. I'm not especially loud, I'm always tidy in the common areas and I enjoy meeting new people. I've lived with other people before so I would have no problem sharing a house with anyone.

Hey, I am a 21 year old university student studying early childhood and primary education and working casually. I am a quiet but fun person, love being outdoors exploring but also love relaxing at home. I come from a country town in NSW and head home as often as possible. I am not a big party animal but love the occasional night out, bevies and snacks with mates. I love to cook (not the best but at least i try hah). If you would like to know anymore about me just send me a message :)
I am financially independent, extremely responsible and definitely cleaner than the average Aussie male. I am going to be living in Newcastle for 2 years while completing my Masters degree. I'm happy to have a drink n chat n chill or to keep to myself if you prefer privacy. I love sport, particularly League, cricket and soccer. Also play golf and other sports. Enjoy movies & TV but don't like spending hours watching, more likely to play PS4 or just get out of the house to do something. I do a pretty good BBQ, can cook reasonably well and don't mind sharing housework duties. The main catch is that I am married, and my wife would be staying for a month or so in April and another month in October. I would be going back to China to run my schools Summer camp for 6 weeks in Australian winter. At the end of November I would be moving back to China for 3 months between semesters. At this point I would decide whether to keep the same accommodation for 2 years without a break or to move out before my time away.
Need to move next week or week after, can push it a little bit but prefer to be out next week. Looking to be close to town. Off st parking preferred. Im a non smoker, but as long as you dont smoke in the house i have no problem with others smoking. Im pretty social so im out alot. I love cooking, but dine out quite often too. Im neat and tidy, and very respectful.

I'm moving from Melbourne to Newcastle and looking for a sharehouse to stay for a few months until I find a house to rent. I'm easy going, independent, I do astrology, alternative healing and I'm into healthy lifestyle, organic food, permaculture. I enjoy cooking, long walks on the beach, swimming, music, dance (5Rhythms) and cafes for chai. I don't smoke and rarely drink. I tend to keep to myself a lot but also enjoy a chat and like to keep the house clean and tidy.
I am an international student from Berlin, Germany and looking forward to study at University of Newcastle for one semester. I am a calm and tidy person, who works a lot in the fields of politics, app/web development. Grew up at the Swiss border in Germany, where my family run hotels and restaurants. I am completing my bachelor this year and would be happy to find a nice place to stay. Preferable near University of Newcastle. I am looking for a place for up to 3 months, because i am returning to Germany in May/June.
Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a third year nutrition and dietetics student looking for a new abode in Newcastle before uni goes back. Very easy-going, neat and tidy. I'm not a party animal but definitely enjoy a glass of wine and a chat from time to time. I'm also very respectful of people's personal space and expect the same in return. I have just returned home to Australia after a few weeks of travel, so I'm looking to move back to Newcastle ASAP.
Looking for furnished coastal accommodation over the summer possibly longer in NSW. I'd like to be close to the beach where I can enjoy long walks in a quiet and peaceful place with water views, ideally. I'm based in Sydney and own my own home there however I am looking to travel to and fro by car in NSW to just have a weekend or mid week getaway place. I'm a clean, kind, caring and considerate person with a busy life in Sydney that loves the coast and the quiet of a much smaller place. I'm also looking at houseminding.
Neat and tidy, keep to myself. Work in the bicycle industry so can help out with your flat tyres. Work is Newcastle West, my ex and kids live in Merewether so looking for something local to that area.

Looking to move into an apartment close to, or in, the Newcastle CBD, so that I can walk to work and uni. I'm a tidy person with respect for other people's space. Greetings! Looking to relocate from east Maitland back into Newcastle to be closer to family, friends and for work. Currently working @Uon in engineering and would like to base myself somewhere that's in and around the honeysuckle precinct but really quiet open to all options. About me - Fairly quiet and private person yet kind open minded and considerate. Quiet, respectful, neat and tidy, and overall an asset to any place. Any questions?feel free to ask. Open to and interested in most possible living arrangements but hoping to meet some amazing people and join an amazing household
I'm a mean cook (you like risotto? we're gonna be friends), a clean hooman, avid reader and a happy housemate. Started working in a coffee shop here in Newy East, so closer the better. Probably spend my time between the beach and work and binging the back catalogue of Netflix's documentary section. Look forward to meeting, future flatties. Here on a WHV, so flexibility with the stay length. Thank you!
Hello Everybody😃 I'm in need of a new living arrangement as my landlord has decided to rent my current share house (at Charlestown) as a whole. The rent here is $650 for the house which has a granny flat downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The place is really nice I just don't have another 2 people for upstairs, most people I know want to live near the uni. If you know anyone wanting to rent at Charlestown for around $150 per week (in a really nice house) let me know maybe we can sign a short lease on this place. A bit about me, I have been at uni the past 2 years studying philosophy but will be taking a break this semester (working 2 jobs). I'm all about good vibes, and living with a positive accepting attitude. Hoping to find a house that fits in with that same mentality. Ideally I would like to live with 2 others. I am pretty keen to stay around this area though, I like the quite street and trees (#Country girl). Happy to live with four legged house mates.
Happy, quiet, responsible, pay rent on time, likes and gives respect to others. Keeps active, looking for a long term with all bills included. Prefers not overcrowded places. Close to transport. Likes Pets. I have my own bed, looking for a private room. Not into parties, enjoys day living, walking, gardening at times. The locations 1) in the Newcastle choices have to be close to the Princes Highway to help me catch the 350 bus route bound to Swansea early morning, this bus is frequent during peak times which sets my traveling time very tight during non-peak hours. or 2) In the Revesby area or 3) in North Parramatta or 4) in Bankstown
Hey! I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at UoN. I've just returned from an exchange in Munich and am looking to move into a place in a good location with some friendly, funny people. When I'm free from study I like running around the city for cheap food/drink or maybe travelling a little bit, though I enjoy some hammock time too. I love a good chat and meeting people.
28 year old registered nurse - just started working full time at the John Hunter and looking for a place closer to work. I am well-traveled and used to sharing living spaces - so I how important it is to be clean, tidy and respectful of others. That being said, i'm pretty easy-going, love a chat and a few beers. I'm an active kids, so I'll most likely be riding my bike around enjoying the sunshine on my days off. I'm also pretty handy in the kitchen!

Hi :) I'm looking for a room in a share house from late February or early march. This will be for 1 year+ I'm currently near the end of a gap year I gave myself for 2016, (such a strange year) I've relocated from Melbourne to Newcastle for a change, I'm born and raised in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, I'm respectful of overs, I enjoy socializing, I surf, rock climb, play guitar (I'm certainly considerate with regards to noise/music I make) and I love a laugh. Previous to 2016 I was renting an 2 bedroom apartment in the suburb of Malvern on my own, the property manager gave me an excellent review which I'll be happy to provide. I've been working as a labourer the last 4 or 5 months. I have plenty of savings which I'll happily screenshot for proof. I keep in touch with a previous house mate who can be a reference. I'm happy to answer any questions and genuinely happy to have a chat

I woke in the hospitality industry a few days a week and I'm completing my nursing degree at Avondale college. I'm from out Toronto way and I'm looking to move into town as its closer to everything and majority of my friends live in town also. I love to chill and hang out with friends, exercise and keep fit, travel and explore new places ect and partying haha
Hey! I'm Todd. I work as an estimator for a big construction company and also DJ on weekends and occasionally through the week. I've rented houses with friends/randoms for at least 4 years so I'm pretty experienced when it comes to these living arrangements and find it easy and good fun. I'm very relaxed and respectful of those I live with and would expect that to go both ways. I'm pretty busy at work so my weekdays are usually very quiet and I also work away in Sydney every 3 - 4 weeks so I will disappear at times. Come the weekend I'm very social and will spend most of it out with my friends, playing a gig or at soccer now the season is around the corner. If you're chilled through the week and fun on the weekends like me then please give me a buzz. Looking to live back in the city or as close to as possible. Main preference is to start a new lease at a new property with someone.
Hello, I'm Ming! I'm a 28yr old engineer with an indoor cat named Spock. We're quiet, friendly, respectful and both answer to good food and company. I'm a 22 year old who works part time and is about to start study. My pup is a 7 year old female who doesn't lick, isnt destructive, and loves a good snooze. We're looking for a place that Evie (pup) is allowed inside as she's a sucker for company.
Hi there! I'm Josh, I moved to this wonderful town of Newcastle from Adelaide almost a year ago now, and currently work in architecture. I'm pretty relaxed. I enjoy leisurely bike rides, reading, art, breakfast, exploring new places, and low-key probably be happy living in a van if that's an option. I have loved living by myself for a year, but cant wait to meet some new people. :)
I'm very quite but very well spoken. I don't like to bother other people and I'm very respectable, I do love metal music etc so hopefully that isn't to much of a problem to play music sometimes. I've lived out of home since I was 16 and I feel as though I've done very well
Hi! I am looking for 1 bedroom for a couple. Open to sharing with whoever. We tend to keep to ourselves but can be social when necessary. Very easy going and clean, references available. We have some furniture so can help furnish a house if necessary. Hope to hear from you soon!
Working 1 job with kids at a school camp, work pretty long hours there most of the time and then work another on weekends at a fancy reasturaunt on the beach as a barTender so yes I like to think I make a mean cocktail haha Im a very clean and tidy person, very handy with most things in the back yard and even inside, always respectful of privacy, and like to think of myself as a fun social person too.
I am in the Early Stages of looking into my next living situation. Looking at moving end of March. I have furniture for a room + lounge room. Fridge and washing machine. I can sell/ store some furniture, but would prefer to keep as much as possible. Looking at unfurnished room/ studio/ granny flat etc. I am an "Ambivert" (Both introvert and extrovert) I Like people, and socializing, however, I need my own space and time to recharge. I clean up after myself, and prefer a tidy house- but not an OCD clean freak. I like to think i'm a considerate housemate, and quite open for discussion for any house rules/ to avoid tense/ negative conflict.
I am a registered nurse full time employment in Newcastle! Need accommodation for myself and for my son (he will only be there some of the time) friendly, respectful and keeps to self. Im really quiet and keep to myself. Some days ill be staying on the coast anyway so i wont be around 24/7 or annoying haha. :)
G'Day! I am a 23 year old student currently in my final semester of Design in Melbourne and I am planning to chase the warmth and head up to Newcastle more or less straight after I finish (around the beginning of July). I love the beach, skating, surfing, exercise and the odd frosty on a hot day. I am a pretty easy going guy, clean, sociable but also enjoy time to myself to unwind and relax.
Easy-going people are really the only thing I care about. Other than that, I'm easy. I've graduated UNI, and am now looking to work full time in Newcastle. I'm a laid back guy, who's always down for a good time. Social, considerate, not really good at talking myself up. Non-smoker, I enjoy a good drink or twelve (when it's necessary, of course), and I have an affinity for dogs.
Hi My name is Markos. I was born in Greece, grew up in Germany and lived and studied in Switzerland the past 10 years. I'm starting my PhD (History) at UoN in late February and look forward to getting to know Australia. During my 10 years in Switzerland I lived on my own for a year and in shared flats for 9 years (which is not too uncommon for students in Switzerland). I'm pretty accustomed to sharing a place with others, be it students or people working in diverse fields. I respect different ways of living, and like to deal with differences before they turn into those little everyday fights in shared places. I value a tidy, clean and cozy place to live. I do enjoy socializing with flatmates, be it while cooking or just talking while having a beer. I came to like the more urban parts of Newcastle and hope to find some affordable place to share with others. Other things to know: I'm in a long and stable relationship with my fiancée back in Switzerland. I'm a smoker that respects non-smokers.
I'm a University student studying Anthropology/ Film, Media and Cultural Studies. I can find an interest in nearly anything. I'm out the door by around 8, and usually find myself at the gym during the evenings. I work at Myer casually for now. I'm originally from Noosa (Queensland), so on my days off I'm usually outdoors in the sun, visiting my partner in Sydney, or somewhere off camping. I'm looking for somewhere long term that I can call home and get completely settled. I'd like to find like minded people who don't mind the occasional drink and who can also respect personal space, preferably 20+ years of age.
Hello! I have just moved to Newcastle and am looking for a place to live. I'm 25 and working full time. I like sports, hanging out with friends and going to the beach on arvos or weekends! I'm easy going, friendly and considerate and am looking for similar housemates to live with :)
I've just got back from travelling and am excited to commence study into health (occupational therapy) at university of Newcastle. I'm easy going and I am not a bad cook. More often that not I'm at the beach, seeing live gigs or cuddling up to Netflix and a cup of tea. Looking for a place end of February, first weeks of March.
