Hi I am a 30 year old male professional, Project Manager, who works in the western suburbs. I have just moved to Sydney from Perth in the last couple of months and I am looking to live the Sydney Life and get closer to this amazing city. I have travelled the world and I’m still not done. Don’t think you ever can be. I am into sport, music, concerts, keeping fit and good coffee. I am an active person who likes going out with friends for a social drink or dinner. I have an outgoing personality and I am looking to move in with either male or female who have similar interests. I look forward to hearing from you. Brian
Heya, I am a 26 year old nurse who has just migrated from the UK, and my boyfriend Vince will be joining me in a month's time. Vince is a 30 year old medical researcher. We are both active outdoorsy people, and so are both looking forward to embracing the Australian outdoor lifestyle! I love hiking and climbed Kilimanjaro last year, and am hoping to climb to Everest Base Camp this year - if you like that kind of thing I'm always looking for new hiking buddys! I also run and go the the gym regularly. Vince is very much into his Brazilian Jui Jitzu and cycling. We are both sociable people who would enjoy hanging out with our new house mates if we are sharing, but at the same time respect other people's need for alone time. We are very much looking forward to setting up our lives in Sydney, and can't wait to meet our new housemates!
Looking for a place thats closer to uni (macquarie) and work (lane cove). Am happy to start a new sharehouse or move into an existing one. Have been living out of home for a few years now in a sharehouse so I've got my s#!t together (I think). Would like to live with some cool, friendly people. Im a student and a bartender. Am quite social. I don't really drink. I like physical avtivity as well as quieter thing like reading, board/card games, movies/tv series.
Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, outgoing most of the time though. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something mid to long term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
Neat Female and enrolled in Mac Uni for my PHD study in Environment Engineering for 3 years. I will arrive Sydney on the 1st April and look for a shared house to stay.
Hi folks. My name is David. I am fulltime employed and starting a new job on Tuesday 4th Oct, so am seeking a room for rent.... urgently. I am a easy person to get along with and respect other peoples space and privacy. I don't mind a chat and am fairly sociable, but aint no party animal so not looking for a party house. I do like to keep the place clean. but am not OCD about it. Not a big sports fan, and I do cook sometimes. Seeking easy, considerate and kind people to share a house or apartment with. I am a non smoker so after a non smoking house hold to share.
Hi, I'm a young mexican (or not that young - 28 yrs) moving to Sydney for a master degree (Biotechnology at MQ). I love music, biking and reading. I also like languages and it would be nice to practice some french or german on the way. Quite, easy-going and non-smoker.
Hey! :) I am an exchange student from Austria and I just arrived to Australia. I'm currently searching for a nice place to stay for the next 6 months. I love travelling, cooking, running, photography and meeting new people. I am looking for a place with people who enjoy activities together but also respect each other's privacy. If you are looking for somebody to rent your free room I would be very happy to meet you for a room inspection and to get to know each other!
Hi, I'm an internetional student at Macquarie University. I come from Germany. I like to live with other people, to chat and do things together from time to time with my flatmates. I'm an open-minded person and like to get in touch with other people. I am clean and tidy and will be busy with university stuff so will be also quiet and considerate. In my leisure time I like doing sports, like Volleyball, jogging or trying any new kind of sports. I also like reading, having some rest and going out with friends. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Alina
Hello! My name is Tom, I'm a male 29 year old non-smoker who has recently got a job with Oracle in Sydney and have to find a place to live so I don't die from exposure. I am looking for like minded people with a room available from early January. Melbourne born and raised. i’m likable, fun and a nerd in many ways. I no longer able to survive the hangovers from crazy partying, so I won’t be stumbling home at 3am every Saturday or Sunday (maybe just once in a blue moon). Instead I prefer catching up with friends, trying out a new restaurant or having a nice glass of wine whilst watching Netflix. In all honesty, I get along with pretty much everyone so as long as we click, the rest is pretty much filler. I also love learning about new things music, fashion, art, nerd stuff and even sport. I enjoy the challenge. In short, it’s nice to meet you.
Hey, I'm Alex. I'm an apprentice mechanic, working in Gladesville - and I am looking for a place to stay within a half-hour commute from there. I am very easy going and I get along with anyone and everyone. I'm a trained Barista and Cook, and love to make both coffee and food. I am clean, tidy and I respect other people's space - but am also down for fun in the arvo or weekend - I can adapt to the household. Please consider me for a room in your house!
Recently moved to Sydney and working in North Ryde. I'm looking for a nice place to come back to at the end of the day, with people that can have a laugh. Enjoy movies, nachos and hiking on the weekends!

I am an easy going, sociable person and like to have dinner and drinks with friends, but I also appreciate my alone time. I like to read, watch Netflix and do lots of dancing. I'm looking for a new home with friendly people! I am a clean and tidy person but not too pedantic about it. Send me a message if you think I could be a good fit for your place :)

I am very considerate and easy-going person. I am an architect who enjoys surfing, and now am moving to Sydney from Melbourne. I am super easy to live with, unless you are a total mess and do never clean up after yourself. Im looking for a place either close to my work (CBD) with off or on-street parking or at the beach, but close to a train or ferry.
Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm 27 and am looking for a place to live around Artarmon. I've done the whole share house thing a few times before and like to keep the house fairly tidy. I work full time but I'm always keen for a relaxed drink and a chat. I like living in a social household rather than just renting a room. I'm looking for 6 months minimum preferably longer. I'm looking for somewhere live rather than just somewhere to stay. Fair warning, I do love puns and bad jokes.
Hi! I am a professional educator, with a PhD from UTS, and B(Ed) from USyd. On occasion, I undertake short-term contract work and like to stay as close to my workplace as possible, in order to focus on the new role. While I work hard during these roles, I always ensure I stay balanced with a host of other interests and hobbies. For example, I'm currently in the final stages of writing a full theatrical production and am getting into trail mountain bike riding. I am naturally very tidy and sensitive to the needs of others. I'm also very flexible and can adapt to a range of living environments. Age isn't an issue for me, as I have good friends who are of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. Please let me know if you think I may be suitable for your place. I'm happy to provide more details on request. Thanks!
Hi! My name is Franzi, a full-time international business student. Originally from Germany, I have moved to Sydney to study the Master of Research program at Macquarie University for one semester. I have lived in shared flats before (three times) and I am easy-going, reliable and respectful of shared spaces and privacy. I enjoy relaxed and calm evenings watching Netflix, having a chat and a nice dinner. In my spare time, I like to do sports (interval training, running, badminton), spend time with friends and explore Sydney. I am keen on living with like minded people who value having a neat and tidy flat to come home to. The ideal place would be a private and furnished room (but open to room share) in a quiet shared flat.
Quiet and a clean person.
URGENT - need a room by the end of the week :) Hey! I'm Kelly, 24, full time hairdresser from England, I have just recently returned to Sydney from over-seas and need a private room in a share house (or apartment or whatever!) ASAP. I will mostly be based in Hornsby for work but want to be close to the city. My ideal location would be Redfern or Surry hills (close to central) but I am open to locations further North. I'm fun, friendly, easy-going, clean, sociable but respectful of privacy. Looking for like-minded flat buds to share with. Please message me so we can chat if you're interested :)
Hi! My name is Varun (my friends call me Vaz), I just moved to Sydney for work. A little bit about me, I'm 25 years old ex-Melbournian and I work for a very large and well known organisation. My job is pretty full on, so I thought living with some flatmates would be a cool way to meet new people and have some good fun in this new chapter of my life in Sydney. Personality wise, I'm a complete extrovert and easy going, i'm always seen laughing and joking around. Domestic duty-wise, I like a clean place and like to maintain a nice environment to come back to after a long day of work. I am slowly becoming a better cook, my cooking portfolio has got two specialisations now; Italian and Indian. I play a lot of sport (Tennis, squash, cricket etc) and would love to live with people who would like to be my squash/tennis mate also, if you don't play, its alright as I'm also a pretty decent unofficial tennis coach! I'm also looking for a new gym in this city, so If you cant tell already, i do prefer and active-ish lifestyle. Having said that, I also love to watch movies and I am currently hooked on about 5 different TV shows, so would be awesome if the future flatmate is also like minded in that sense. Looking forward to hearing back from those willing to give this a shot! Cheers, Varun

Hi I am looking to share or team up with another who is in their 30s or 40s. I work in North Sydney full time. I love animals but don't have any. I am currently living in a 1 bdr at the moment , but hoping to save money as well as socialise with a new housemate. I am social but also enjoy my own quiet time. I do have my own furniture, but happy to put my stuff in storage, if I find the right place, that is fully furnished. I love a nice wine in the afternoon, and hopefully enjoy one with good company. I am not much of a cook, but when I do I am respectful and clean. Would really love to find some housemates that areally friendly, social, respectful and clean. I have listed a number of areas that would suit where I prefer to live, but as long as the area is easy and not far by transport to North Sydney, another area could also suit.
Hey my name is nora. I'm a 25 year old professional that is eager to move out in the next week or so. I've lived in London, Portugal and Italy so I've lived with so many different personalities which is always exciting to meet new ones. Not OCD but do appreciate cleanliness. I'm a very considerate person, so I respect other people with high regard. Yet, I'm still someone who is always prepared for a great time, I love to hang out with others in my free time. I'm also happy to have anybody over for dinners, drinks, you name it! During the week, I am pretty busy with working in Crows Nest at Norths Basketball and studying law and commerce full time at Macquarie. Most days I'm out of the house in the morning and might not be back until later into the night. On holidays though, I do like to recharge and just relax at home. I have a girlfriend who would ideally be able to spend 1 - 2 nights with me as I would be doing the same with her. I'm happy with pets as I have grown up my whole life with them. I look forward to hearing from you.

Great cook, my work involves travelling away a lot, tidy.
I work full time as an IT Consultant at Macquarie Park, while living in the Blue Mountains. I'm aiming to find a room to rent for 3-4 nights per week, to reduce the amount of commuting I do (which takes 5 hours per day!). Having a room such as this would free up my time during the week, enabling me to catch up on my reading, yoga, meditation, and guitar practice! (but note that I have a travel guitar which has ear plugs - it's effectively silent to others). It would also enable me to attend 1 or 2 courses in the city during the week - I'm currently looking at meditation, music, chi gung and tango classes! But not all at once!! Kitchen facilities aren't essential (but would be nice to have). Only need a single bed. I'm a non-smoker.
Hi! I am a 27 year old student at Macquarie studying to be a secondary school teacher. I am looking to find a place to live that I can share with at least one other person. I will be studying for 6 months and then re-evaluating my living situation. Look forward to meeting some like minded people.

Also, I can provide bank statements in order to assure that I will be able to pay the rent.

I am seeking a room mate who I can hang out and go out with but also needs their own space & who has good taste in wine and will be ok watching hundreds of dog and cat videos online with me. I am also flexible on areas to live as long as it is near public transport!

I have a 4year old staffy who is overly friendly and loves attention. Fully trained and acts more or less like a cat than a dog!
Hi my name is Carlie and I am from Adelaide Australia! My partner Matt and I will be moving to Sydney late February to commence our studies at Macquarie University. I will be studying counter terrorism/security studies and Matt will be studying media/writing. We are both very friendly, easy going and clean. We both love our food so we are very excited to try new restaurants around Sydney. We love the outdoors and hiking but relaxing and movies are equally loved.
I am a young professional who will begin employment with the NSW Government in mid-February. I have experience in house-sharing (have lived in a shared apartment since 2013) and am friendly, clean and easy-going. I don't have any particular preferences about the property, just a private room. Looking for housemates that are respectful of personal space but are up for a chat and the odd sharing of meals! I dont smoke and am pet friendly! During the week I am pretty much just at work/hanging out at home in the evenings and on the weekend I love getting out and exploring the city, going to the beach, shopping, and all that good stuff. A parking space/on street parking would be great, but by no means a pre-requisite!
