My partner and I are responsible young adults looking to move out for the first time. We are both recent graduates from Lake Tuggeranong College. Ben has a full time job and I am currently looking for one. We are tidy, non-smokers and we are more than happy to be social with flatmates. I don’t tend to login to this website very much and I don’t pay for it so if you’d like to team up and start a new sharehouse or if you think you have the perfect house for Ben and I, please message me and I'll give you my number. Thanks everyone!
Hi there! I'm Dave and I'm generally the quite type. I just arrived in Canberra and am currently working full-time for Government (hey it's Canberra so who doesn't, right?). Anyways, looking to see if anybody would like to perhaps team up and apply for some rental properties?
My name is David and I’m 25 years old and from Sweden. I’m a person that likes all kinds of technical things! Other than that I’m an active person that likes to exercise. So, technical things, solutions and Sports, those are my two main interests. I don’t smoke, and I'm not traveling with a pet.
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
I'm in my early 20s and a 2nd year student of policy studies at ANU. I work two paid jobs and have my next two volunteer positions lined up for 2018. For a long time now I've been living in a unilodge room. I decided not to apply for a new residential because I've had enough of hotel style accommodation and I'm looking for a home. I'm a student of French and Arabic. I'm very handy when things need doing. I'm not a very knowledgeable gardener but I grew up with a veggie garden and I'm a pretty good cook with fresh ingredients (thanks parents). I'm a hard worker but I love a drink and a chat when I can squeeze it in. As a nature lover, I can I try to head down to the snowys or out to the Shoalhaven area whenever I can. I'm very clean and I'm especially respectful of shared spaces. I grew up driving around Melbourne so I love Canberra 'traffic' :). I'm staying with a family in Pattaya for the next few days but ill be back in Aus mobile reception in a few days.
I'm moving from Melbourne to Canberra in Feb 2018 for a Grad Program. I'm looking for shared accommodation in Belconnen or surrounding suburbs (within close proximity of public transport) in Feb. I enjoy binge watching tv shows and exploring new brunch spots! I’m a tidy person by nature, respectful of personal space and privacy but happy to socialise too!
I work full time for Federal Government, I've been told I'm a pretty chilled, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I am a Vegan (but I won't judge your lifestyle). I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic.
Friends call me Kichu. I'm moving to Australia from India for my PG @ ANU on Feb 1, 2018. I am a full time student and will be working part time. I like to sing, percuss and read. I am a good teacher and can talk about science, technology and Indian music for all day long. I love dogs (and cats) even though I don't have any. I play CoD and CSGo.
I have moved to Canberra for work. I will be working full time in the APS. I am generally a quite person who respects others space but I do love the odd sunday sesh or trip the pub. I also enjoy playing social sports, board games nights and settling down to a good book. I love going to watch live sport (especially rugby) and I'm hoping to get some trips up to the snow this winter.
Hi there! I'm Maddie and I'm moving from the central coast, NSW, to Canberra to study sports and exercise science at UC. I am looking for a place or to team up to find a place, to stay for at least 9 months up to a year to get myself comfortable with the area and to settle into Canberra. I'm a non-smoker, chilled, tidy and respectful of other people's things/space. I enjoy chatting and relaxing with friends but also respect personal space. My interests include sports, gaming and movie nights! I have no problems with pets of any kind. Please get in touch if interested! Cheers :)
Full time public servant working in Civic, from Wollongong originally and travel most weekends. My friend Emily and I are looking for a 3rd person to rent somewhere near Civic with. Easy going, happy to share some wine/beer and a meal but also respect privacy. Enjoy going to the gym or for hikes, coast trips and a great TV series on Netflix.
Hey all, I’m looking a for a place to live around Canberra. I’m a full time student, will be studying Medical Science at either UC or ANU. I’m an avid mountain biker and other extreme sports lover, so I would need some space to store a bike. Also love going to the gym (Anytime Fitness). Love music, you will very rarely catch me not listening to music (Led Zeppelin, and disco are a couple of my favourites). I’m a very social, cheery guy (sorry my picture doesn’t show it haha, best I have) from a little country town called Lithgow. Love hanging out with people, I respect others personal space and time. I’m clean, tidy, and organised. I can and I enjoy cooking. I’ll happily have a drink or two with people, or just hangout. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I'm moving from Brisbane to Canberra and the beginning of February for a full time engineering graduate position. As I don't know anyone in Canberra (yet!), I am hoping to find a share house with people I can be friends with. I am fairly flexible with length of stay, with ideally a minimum of 6 months. I'm a very easy going, sociable and friendly person who likes living in a tidy, happy place. I love getting out of the house, especially on weekends (pretty excited to try skiing...), but also love spending nights in binging Netflix, reading a good book or just chilling out. I respect people's privacy, the home and will always help out with cleaning. Look forward to meeting you! Cassie
I have lived in Canberra for four years and am living in Unilodge right now. I have stayed in my 7- bedroom share apartment for three years and I passed every cleaniess inspection. Moreover, I maintain a good relationship with all my roommates, both gentlemen and ladles. In addition, I also paid all my rent on time and have a sufficient deposit to pay my future rent at least for three years
Let me try to give you a bit of an idea of who I am in a few sentences. I'm a guy, 26 years old. I"m coming up to Canberra from Melbourne to do my Masters of Clinical psychology, which starts on the 22nd of January. I've got a feeling that in the first few weeks I'll be pretty caught up with Uni, as the course starts with two weeks of intensive units (9-5 mon-fri). I've sorted myself out some temporary accommodation in Ainslie until the 17th of Feb, then i'd like to find somewhere permanent. Here in Melbourne, I've just finished up working for a company that does psychological services for offenders with drug and alcohol problems. Before that, the last few years I've been studying Philosophy/Psychology and working various hospitality jobs. I'm interested in philosophy, psychology, politics and music. I love gardening (i'll be sad to not see my strawberries bear fruit before I leave), riding my bike around (with a degree of caution) and spending time with mates (hoping to make a few more when I get up to Canberra). Like everyone else on this website, I'd like to meet and live with people who are open and friendly. I appreciate having a good conversation while brewing a coffee in the morning and some friendly banter over a beer at night. However, of course, there will be times where I need to buckle down and study. Looking forward to moving to a new city and meet new people. Hit me up if you have any questions.
I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.
Looking for a home for myself and my Kelpie Beau, we are moving back to Canberra after living in QLD. I have a job transfer with work full time Monday-Friday as a Case Worker. I adopted my dog Beau from the Animal Welfare League, he is 6 years old and is my running buddy. He would prefer a backyard to chill in during the day (doesn't need to be a big space) and prefers to sleep with me inside at night if possible. Happy to negotiate options, for example in my current home Beau sin't allowed in the living room which has new carpet and he understands this rule. We both have references too. Beau is a super friendly dog and loves cuddles with everyone. He is very well behaved, he is not destructive and loves the company of other furry friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and camping. I am social and love a chat, I am neat and tidy and happy to contribute to cleaning the house regularly. Please get in touch if you think your place might suit! :) Cheers Gemma.
Hi, I'm Kate. I'm originally from Newcastle but moved to Canberra in Feb 2017. I'll be starting my second year at the ANU studying a double degree in International Relations and Criminology. I work at an Irish pub in Civic so I work most evenings and Saturdays. When I have time between work and uni, I like to have a wine in the evenings and catch up with friends. I'm laidback, genuine and friendly and would enjoy a chat at the end of the day or the odd meal together every now and again. I respect people's privacy, the home and would be more than willing to pull my weight in cleaning. Looking forward to speaking with you - Cheers : )
Hi, I am Lee-chelle. I am starting a graduate position with the ACTPS in Feb 2018, looking to move end of January/early February. I'm friendly, considerate, easy-going and tidy. I love getting out and about, but also happy spending a quiet night in. I'm happy to pay a little extra for my own bathroom. Looking for a housemate as well as a friend :)
The things that might interest you: I am 34 years old. I am clean, tidy and responsible. I am super honest and respectful of other people's lives and belongings. Also, I am tolerant and I am considerate and I like to receive the same courtesy from others. :) What else? I am simple, kind and I care for others. I am very thoughtful. I love humbleness. I am enthusiastic, upbeat and fun. I love to laugh and enjoy the most simple things in life. I love to be able to have a chat with my housemates and make our house a home. Have dinner together (if possible) even if we have cooked our own meals separately or if we sometimes make dinner for each other. I like to respect people's privacy and space. I know we all have things to do and rest, too! I am a hairdresser, waitress and bartender. I am from Peru South America.
I am a single mother who is desperately looking for somewhere to live in Canberra around $250- $300 per week. I currently live in Nowra and am moving back to Canberra to commence a registered nurse position at the Canberra Hospital. I have been looking for a suitable house for months, however my son starts school at Giralang in February so we need a place to live within the next 2 weeks. I am extremely neat and organised, I don’t have any pets and I don’t smoke. I have bond and deposit money ready.
