Hi, I'm going into my final semester of uni and work part time. I have previous share house experience and am friendly, clean and considerate. I enjoy socialising while also being respectful of people's space, and I'm clean & quiet :) Looking to move in late June when our current lease ends. Hobbies include writing, reading, and both going out with friends and staying in with Netflix and a warm blanket!
Hey Flatmaters, i'm Anthony, looking for temporary residence whilst I reestablish myself back in the Berra. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social, enjoy a chat. About me : enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends... If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
I'm joining ANU as a Post-Grad student for the Semester 2. I'm great to talk to, friendly and responsible hence there won't be any dues on rents, bills, etc. Like to keep the place I live tidy and would expect a roommate to be the same as well. My favorite pass time would be to watch movies or TV shows that are trending. Love to shop around and get a few drinks once in a while. I'm a dog-lover and love to babysit them for friends or family. Can cook pretty well and a food-lover. So I'm pretty sure I could be the best roommate you can get :) I'm looking for a place close to ANU which would not take me more than 15 mins on commute. Preferable roommates are students and non-smokers. Smoking outside the premise is fine:)
I am a master's student in Renewable Energy Engineering at the ANU and will be joining in the month of July 2017. Indian by origin, I am a vegetarian and can decently cook veg Indian cuisine. I am fun-loving, easy going and don't intervene in others' matters unless it involves me or I'm called for. Sincere and regular in terms of payment of dues and bill clearance. I am a little cleanliness cautious so I maintain my immediate surroundings as neat and tidy possible. I am comfortable with smokers, party animals, late night comers etc. I love pets but am tying to avoid stay with one.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days per week. P.P.S. I am a non-smoker, but I don't mind if you smoke, so long as it's outside and not in the house. P.P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
Hello! I am an artist, athlete, and student. I will be in Perth for a short amount of time doing an exchange program at Curtin University. I am looking for a comfy place to live while i'm in school! I am friendly, clean, easy to get along with, just looking to have a comfy home base as I explore Australia and go to school.
I am looking for a quite flate mate who wants to share their house with me. I love to be nice and tidy and also keeps my space condition neat. I would prefer furniture if possible as i am moving from QLD. Rent from $150 /wk including all the bills would be ok for me. I will tell you a bit about myself before moving in.
I guess you could say I'm friendly, have an interest at getting to know my future flatmates and make new friends, love pets (so if you have any that's fine with me), love a good pun and enjoy board game nights. :) I like to socialise but I do tend to spend a lot of time on my computer, but that's mainly due to my work as a Web Developer; though it's good to get out of the house sometimes and away from my desk - so I do enjoy outdoor activities too lol Look forward to meeting my future housemates!
Im a crossfit addict and a workaholic. Easygoing, clean and considerate. I grew up south of river but moved north to be closer to work. Now id like to move back south so I can crossfit with my younger cousins. For fun I enjoy watching movies, going to the beach and exploring what festivals/cultural events the city has to offer.
My name is Cecilia and I have just moved Canberra from Sydney to start work at the National Gallery. I am a professional artist, semi-pro photographer and amateur musician. I love the outdoors particularly camping, hiking and cycling. I enjoy cooking and a casual drink with friends but I'm not a big partier.
Just about to start my post-doc over at ADFA (as part of UNSW), I'm a bit of an outdoors person, my current sport of choice being mountain biking but I also climb, kayak, hike, etc. At home, I range from quiet to social. I enjoy cooking and the occasional movie night/dinner party, or just relaxing with a drink and some Netflix (favourite show on Netflix is Rick and Morty).
I'm 32 from the UK and have just recently moved to Canberra. I'm looking for something long term and a housemate who's fun and likes to have a laugh. I'm easy going, enjoy cooking and like to have the odd glass of wine. l'm tidy, respectful and also enjoy the occasional hike.
I am not really an extrovert but I like to be part of a group with different interests. I enjoy watching sports like rugby cricket and soccer. I really love music and sometimes do shows as a rapper! I like going out and socialising too.
Hi there! - Currently not thankyou but keeping profile active. Currently living in Melbourne (have all my life) with an upcoming prospect to move to Perth for work. The move would not be till July- August if successful. Currently working full time and would be completing a traineeship in Perth full time. Very relaxed person and tidy, non smoker. I am a very social person but also do respect people's privacy as they would mine. Love to be by the beach/water and going to good local coffee shops & social bars. Sport is a huge part of my life, watching on tv, live or at a bar. Attending gigs/concerts and just being out of the house is what I like to do on my days off. Like to let my hair down on the weekends and looking for like minded people that love to entertain and opening up their social group to their flatmate/s if personalities suited. Enjoy the outdoors, music, strong focus on being active. I LOVE to cook. Travel is a massive passion, Australia or overseas having done solo trips. Currently only have a prospect of being in Perth for the year but after that Perth may become a more permanent home. Possibility of friends flying in to visit once in a while, would be ideal if they would stay in the home but other accommodation can be arranged if this does not suit. Would be looking to stay with other people in their 20's that have are professionals that live in a share house with friends or other flatmates. Not looking to stay with married couples. I would be bringing across my car, will be need a place to keep this (street parking is fine). Good internet is a must and would love to stay with someone who loves a good Netflix binge sesh of the latest tv shows with a glass of wine. (Can supply Netflix and Stan account :) ) At the moment I will only be looking at this site time to time until the date gets closer to approval. I will contact suitable listings once this has been confirmed. For this time please do not contact me prior as I will not be able to accept your offer :)
I am super chilled and my doggo is the best! My week days usually consist of work, gym, walk the dog, dinner & netflix & bed, and weekends are gym, sleep, walk the dog & netflix. Basically im the ideal housemate haha. I work full time, in a permanent secure job and is a career. My budget is max $175 including bills and looking for a long term rental & unfurnished room as i have all my room stuff. -looking for a house that I will only be sharing with 1 or 2 other people -I am a big believer of home is the private space and not for entertaining. Im not looking for a party house! Not to say i dont love to party haha just not at home :) -Enjoy a household that speaks freely and likes to have a chat/ catchup from time to time -Respectful of other peoples property and would hope the same in return -I have been the head tenant for about 5 years so will never be late on rent or bills as i know how frustrating it is. -I have a house full of stuff so if anything is needed for the house ill probably have it! Otherwise will be putting it into storage! Basically i need to find a house that allows my pup and has high fencing. He is an 8 yr old Australian Cattle Dog, he has started to slow down a little but still quite energetic. He is happy boy and generally pretty well behaved and he is well passed his destructive stages. He doesnt need a massive backyard at his age and he gets walked daily. He doesn't bark unnecessarily but will bark 'at' things but have never had a complaint about him anywhere we've lived. He is also good deter-ant for bad people haha. Ideally he would be allowed in the house but he only sleeps inside at night and is outside during the day. If i sound like i would fit in, please send me a message :) Thanks, Ellen
We are future Masters Students at ANU for this fall and we are looking for accommodation for two, we are awesome Fun loving Gregarious Love to party Always serious about studies and credible Love to stay with someone who can be flexible at times and can eat delicious Indian FooD :)
We're two friends looking for a house or some fun housemates to team up with. Sophie's from Canberra and Simone's moving back to Canberra after a year in Sydney. Both of us work full time and are keen to live with laid back housemates who like hanging out after work, heading out on weekends and who also don't mind a few quiet nights in between.
Recently moved from interstate for work, looking for a modern place with own bathroom and provision for car. Happy for an independent house lifestyle or those who want a bit more social interaction between housemates also.
Currently looking for a room or to team up with some like minded fun people. I have been living in Reid for the last 18 months but the landlord is selling the house so time to move! I'm 25 play a lot of sport during the week and go to the snow over the weekends. I am outdoorsy and social and enjoy a wine or beer with housemates. I have been in share houses since I was 18 and like to think I know how to behave in one by now :) I would like to live out of the inner suburbs with a little bit more space like Hackett or O'connor.
