Peruvian-American woman and an Irishman moving to Sydney from Brisbane. Both of us are recent graduates from university and are now traveling across Australia! We're easy-going people who love to cook, watch movies, and explore new places. Added bonus: we are very clean and enjoy living with others!
I'm originally from Japan and working full time for IT company during the week 9-5pm. I'm friendly, tidy and easy going person to live with. Hope to see you and chat more about ourselves before I move in :) Thank you!
I am a 20 year old female student studying Criminology and Criminal Justice at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada! I am doing a semester abroad as an exchange student at Macquarie University from July - December. I am hoping to live with a few other students who attend Macquarie University :) I am out going, clean and super easy to get along with! I love travelling and meeting new people and on my spare time I love hiking and spending time outside!
I am a friendly, quiet and easy-going person who is working on establishing an online bakery business. Great as a roommate, currently working full-time in the IT industry and during my spare time (mostly weekend) I will be cooking something up in the kitchen, now you know the advantage of living with me, you always get to be the first one to try out my products! ;D I'm also willing to pay extra for the electricity bill for oven usage, we could negotiate a price on that. I play video games and love watching movie, but I will also respect other's privacy as well as expecting others to respect mine. I generally stay in my bedroom after work, but If you want a little chat or want to have meals together from time to time, I would be more than happy to join the occasion. :)
I am a recent Marketing Graduate from Melbourne who is moving up to Sydney to start a new job. I am Swiss/Australian, speak fluent French and have travelled all over the world so I am always keen to meet new people and share experiences. I don't know Sydney from a bar of soap so I'm hoping to be introduced to the best bars/restaurants/cafes and make a lot of new friends along the way. I love being outdoors so the beaches and gardens in Sydney is something I really look forward to exploring. I don't have my exact moving dates yet, but most likely in early-mid July :)
Hey, this is Alan and I'm going to study at UNSW next semester, looking for a nice place to stay. It seems that you place meets my needs! I'm an outgoing person, like sharing things with other. Also, I am a neat person who likes clean area. For more, I love sports, coffee, photography and traveling. If there's a chance for me to move in, just tell me! Thanks
Hi! I am Vivian, a female 34 years old Peruvian lawyer studying a Master in Environmental Law at USyd. I am looking for a place to call home for the next 4 to 5 months since I will be going back to Peru after my Master finishes. Looking for a place close to Uni or if far compensated by lovely surroundings (close to water area, or green areas.. which are the reasons why I love Sydney!). Def has to be an airy, clean place with good sunlight. Love to meet new people, cook, share a glass of wine, but also respectful of privacy. I am looking for a 4 to 5 months rent. In July I will be travelling for 25 days (hoping to get a discount for those weeks) and my boyfriend would stay for 7 days. So please let me know if that's ok with you. Would prefer a female flat and own bathroom but open to options. :)
My dog Chewie (Chewbacca) and I are looking for a new place to call home. I work full time at UNSW doing a PhD investigating metabolism in health and disease, and part time in the army reserve doing my officer training. That keeps me busy, but with the time I have left I like to get up early to train and take any chance to head outside for a walk, hike, or grab a coffee. I’m very professional and respectful towards others, and I like to keep a clean and tidy house – although of course we do inevitably come with a little bit of fur. Chewie is dedicated to his work in the lifestyle services and pampering industry, very professional, neat and tidy, incredibly friendly and well-mannered. He does tend to melt hearts though… We love parks, the beach, and healthy people that love getting outside.
Hello, I'm Minh, young mature individual here to look for a decent size unfurnished room with my own bathroom for a long term. I've lived in a number of share houses/apts and always stay longer than 12 months as the idea of moving in and out frustrates me. At this stage, i'm doing software development degree at CSU and working long hours in Japanese fine dining and also doing internship for an I.T firm in Bondi few days per week. Yes, it's quite full on. i'm mature minded, independent, organised, reliable and especially considerate about others and the sharing environment. I have a huge passion in cooking//baking and i enjoy music as well as aged rum. However, my schedule is very very tight so i barely have free time to cook up a storm. If you like a classic risotto and freshly baked croissants, you've just found your new flatmate! and there is still half bottle of Sauvignon Blanc after making the risotto! Ideally, I prefer to live with mature individual which is not based on age as it is just a number. i've shared house with people in their late 20's and my current flatmate is in his late 40's. I'm very sociable yet totally respect privacy. I'm really open-minded, bit flirty and always up for a good time while living together. At this stage, i get caught up with lots of work and study so i'm out a lots and barely have day off but I like to keep myself busy with lots of activities anyway. I go cycling and going out and about with friends for brunch and some beverage when having some spare time. There are way too many places to live, lots of apartments that is available to share in Sydney but for me, i'm looking for a place that i can call "home" not just some random AirBnb room so it will come down to the people i'm going to live with. Like minded people are great but sometimes being different is fascinating too Text and call me anytime. if i am occupied, I will get back as soon as i can. Cheers
We are a couple looking to move out of the city into the inner west, or eastern suburbs. We are both currently studying in Kensington, however Katie is graduating at the end of the year. We are looking for our own place, not a share situation, somewhere to settle down for the foreseeable future. Hopefully somewhere that has an area for Katie to put her plants :)
Hi i'm Bonnie, i'm 29 years old and I work in Travel Promotions. Looking for a queen size room in the Redfern, Darlington, Surry Hills area preferably own bathroom but not essential. I am a very happy, respectable and honest person. I love having a laugh, going to the movies, to the theater, listening to music, most weekends I try to catch up with my friends and ever expanding family. I don't mind a social drink here and there but definitely not a raver. Having come from a big family and lived with housemates previously I am very clean and considerate. I love a cheeky red here and there and also love a bit of me time too which I find works great in a share house.
Hi! I'm a friendly, easy-going, quiet guy. Not a party animal (those days are past) - but I like music, podcasts and unwinding with Netflix or a movie. I've recently returned from 6 years overseas, and am looking to set myself up in Sydney. I'm currently looking for work and am likely to be starting study soon. I'm responsible, tidy(ish) and a half-decent cook.
Hi, I am Claudia and looking for a place long term. I work as a designer and love doing yoga in the morning.
Hi :) My name is Ellen and I am currently living in Seaforth looking to move closer to the CBD. I am a relaxed and fun loving person who would love to cook a meal and have a beer with you after a long day but i also like to have time to myself and respect that others also need space. I work full time and am often outing weekends visiting my boyfriend. His work hours make it difficult for him to travel, so he is not often over at mine, but if he is you will love him :) My current roomies and I work we'll without any schedule for cleaning as we are all proactive and clean up after ourselves and take the bins out/vacuum etc when we need to, not just leave it to pile up. If you work best on a schedule, I'm chill with that too! I love movies, music, festivals, books, gigs, sleeping, my friends, my boyfriend, my job and going on adventures. I'm really just looking for people who are great to live with. HMU!!
Hi there, I'm looking at sharing a clean and cosy house with some nice, working people. I'm a very friendly and easy going girl. I work full time. I like to watch movies, read, drink wine and eat cheese :)
Looking for a great share house. Friendly, easy going working professional, usually likes to chill afterwork and make the most of the weekend. I am respectful of other peoples space, thoughtful and reliable. Work in the CBD (Marketing & Editorial management). I've been in Sydney almost 1.5 years now and here on a 4 year sponsored visa. Likes - national parks, trekking, movie nights, GOT, beach days, steak, wine, road trips... Abit more about me -Born and bred in London. Spent 5 months travelling on route to Australia- fav travel stops included: Nashville, Rio, Iguazu Falls, South Africa, Chiang Mai, Halong bay and Sapa. As I don't have any family in Australia it is important for me to live with people who like to spend a bit of time together, share a meal, have a laugh about things. I have a nice double bed and some additional bedroom furniture. Budget of apx. $250-$280 for rent and bills, looking to share with those in their 20s/30s.
I am a great flatmate because I'm a team player. I am neat and very respectful. I clean up after myself and am always willing to socialise with my fellow flatmates. I'm looking for a place for at least 4 months but I may extend my lease.
Looking for a place 30min away max from central. Been living with same housemate for 5 years.we get on really well but his job is out west and I don't enjoy the west a lot. I work in the city and spend my free time near the city so makes sense for me to move closer. Not in a rush, prefer to find a long term place and hopefully move to a place where I can have a place to stay and make new friends I can be a messy person in my own private room but very neat & considerate when it comes to shared space. (P.S: messy is not dirty...the 2 are quite different) Thank you for reading my profile. P.S: I won't be able to move asap. So ideally would work if you're looking for someone to move in after a month or so. I will need to let my housemate know I'm moving out, allow him time to give notice to landlord and start looking for a place. So my move date is 3-7 weeks from when I find a place I like.
