I have recently returned to study l my masters in OT after many years working full time as a clinician. Very neat and tidy, life these days tends to be either at work, uni or somewhere peaceful I can study. Looking for mature housemate as the party scene is a little behind me. That being said, wine and cheese nights are a fav!
25 Yr old Male from Lismore NSW. Been in Melbourne for a year. Work full time in the North. Love Hip Hop music. Looking to start a diploma of teaching mid year. Very relaxed and honest person.
I'm a fun and considerate housemate. I've recently finished a job in country Vic working full-time for the last 10 years. I'm heading back to Melb for work and would love to team up with someone to find my feet. I'm great with cleaning and tricky stains are my speciality (so I'm told! haha) I love indoor plants and making a comfortable home everywhere I go. I enjoy cooking but am no masterchef - happy to jump in a give it a go!

Hi Guy's, I have just returned from the UK, having been there for almost a year. I am English, but have lived in Australia for over 20 years. I am awaiting an operation at present, so I am not working, but I am financially secure. I am respectful, reliable, like a chat, wine / beer sometime. Cooking, keeping fit, music, TV, gardening, clean and tidy. My daughter stays with me some weekend and part school holidays. Having good roll model people around is important. I am no party person, but not an old stick on the mud either, Neil.
Hey Guys, We're two Irish girls Niamh (28) and Laura (22). We're look for a third person to teamup with. We're easy-going, friendly, fun and tidy. We both work in hospitality and would prefer someone that has a similar work scheduled, but its not a necessity. We also study part time.
I'm a relatively newly returned Melbournian. I've returned from sleepy Perth, leaving behind fast paced world of mining construction, hard hats, fluro-vests and the road-grit they pass off as coffee. I've been living in Moonee Ponds and Maribyrnong area for 18 months. I really love the area and it's a regrettable move so I hope I can find somewhere close by or somewhere with easily accessed public transport to take me to Parkville. I'm pretty much guaranteed to be an A house mate as I recently scored 98/100 in the highly reputable and accurate Buzz Feed "How Good Are You At Living With Other People?" test. Take the test to see if you're a great housemate, with questions such as 'would you borrow your house mates underwear' how could you fail? I'm a student at Uni of Melb, studying a graduate diploma of psychology at the Parkville Campus. I have some independent income and I'm working on my own small business. I am hoping to move before 26 February, before Uni recommences. I'm a great cook, prefer a clean tidy home and I like an occasional glass of red wine. I've got dreams of being a green thumb but a history of being more krypton/interesting-aqua (if you believe Bunnings colour swatches). I've got a little mobile garden; every thing is in pots, from potted strawberries, garlic, chillies, jalapeños, oregano, thyme and a few more. If there's room I have a mini-greenhouse where I grow seedlings and cuttings. All above board stuff! I have my own bedroom furniture, a large study desk and can contribute kitchen ware, crockery etc and a medium sized fridge. A small amount of storage would be handy and I'm ok with on-street parking. I'm left wing in my ideals, prob one of the few Green voters in a Liberal safe seat, and am open to living with people of any gender or identification. I don't smoke, I'm keen on environment pursuits and I don't have any dietary requirements. I have references from my current landlord and previous share housemates. I'm still friends with housemates 10, 8 and 4 years since we shared. I'd consider them to be highly reputable people when they're guaranteeing my suitability as a housemate, however I'd consider them damned-liars if they spill on the me from 10 years ago who had a penchant for BeefEater gin (Hendricks only now). I have a 4 year old cat, Mia-cat, who was rescued from a junk yard a year ago. She is indoor house trained, will occasionally perform for treats and reportedly has a BA in Lap Warming. I'll let you be the judge. If you think we'll be a good fit for your place please let me know. Jennifer
HiI I'm Ruwanthi,I'm a 23 yr old Srilankan who will be starting a Masters at unimelb in Feb. I'm an easy to live with and fun person who is always up for a chat, but I'm also very quite and will respect your privacy. Really exited to be coming to Melbourne and meeting my new flatmates :D
Great cause I respect the privacy of others, I'm handy in the kitchen, I'd like to think i'm tidy and I don't mind cleaning. I'm easy going, I pay on time and I really do like to treat people the I way I would like to be treated. I am a Dogman by trade mainly in the construction industry with all types of cranes. I love playing or watching any sport and enjoy hanging out with friends and family.
URGENT Hi! My name is Jasmine - I am 22 years old and working fulltime in the CBD as a barista (I can supply you with great coffee) I am urgently looking to move out of my current place as my housemate has terminated our lease so she can move back to WA. I wasn't told about the termination until a few days ago, hence the urgency. I can cook, and I L O V E to clean. I am also pretty quiet, but have a whole half of my brain dedicated to terrible jokes just waiting to be used. I would prefer a room fully furnished as I have recently moved from WA, so I don't actually own anything other than too many clothes. Thank you thank you thank you for considering me.
I've lived in numerous share houses over the years, often moving each time I return from my overseas travels. I'm working full time at the airport, as well as studying this year too, and I have a number of extra curricular activities and hobbies to keep me busy. I'm a young and mature 36 year old, depending what the situation calls for :-) Prefer to live with independent flatmates who enjoy some shared social time, but who don't live in each other's pockets (I'm out a lot so home time is often my quiet time). Guys and girls are equally good to share with, although I don't want to have to babysit and / or clean up after anyone - everyone should do that for themselves and share the communal cleaning. I'm meticulous about paying my bills on time, and I've lived in houses where people share the cooking and houses where everyone cooks for themselves - I can do either, whatever works best for everyone. Looking for somewhere with people of a similar age bracket (late 20s to mid 30s), who can hold a conversation, maybe have some interesting stories, who clean up after themselves, and know the value of good energy / vibes when sharing a house!
Hello! I'm Logan, I'm 20 years old and a full time flight attendant. Looking for somewhere to move out to with some chill roomies, preferably in their 20's. I'm pretty easy going. I work the late shifts at work so usually between 1pm-12am. So I'm usually only home for dinner maybe 3 times a week! And work likes to send me away on the odd occasion. I'm very big on friendships so if I'm not home i'm out on an adventure with my girls. Feel free to message me!
Hi guys, My name is Reuben. I'm a 19 year old who has been working in Melbourne for the last 4 months travelling back and forth from Geelong everyday and would love to try find somewhere a little closer. I'll be working during the week and sometimes from home. I'm friendly and sociable and like to live in a tidy environment. I'm not very big on partying but if the time is right I know how to have fun, especially if it's with good people. It would be great to find a room in a house with other laid back people and preferably be allowed to have my partner stay occasionally. I need a place for a minimum of 3 months and if I am comfortable I would be happy staying on a longer term if negotiable.
Hello! My name is Alexandra, I am 22 and currently in my last semester at La Trobe University in Bundoora studying a Bachelor of Business, International Marketing. I may occasionally have a friend over from time to time, but just a visit.. nothing crazy! I really do believe I am the ultimate housemate as I am no fuss! Can't wait to hear from you.

I always pay rent and bills on time, always clean up and am always up for a chat/share a meal or a beverage but also respect people's alone/quiet time and privacy.
Country boy, studying first year of business at RMIT. About myself, I'm really easy going and quite sporty! I know how to clean up after myself and share my fair share of duties within a household, but super laid back otherwise!! Ready to move in straight away!!
My name is Caroline, I'm a second year student at Victorian College of the Arts. I'm friendly, fairly quiet and a bit of a nerd. I love laughing, sleeping and dancing. I grew up in the country and went to boarding school for a few years, so I've got the sharing thing down pat, and know how important it is to be able to hide away in your room every now and again. I'm a fan of Doctor Who, always lose at Monopoly and zucchini is my favourite (pls don't judge me). Happy to share a meal once in a while and have a good chat with housemates. Not looking to spend too much on rent, but at the same time don't want to be too far from uni.
Recently moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. Looking somewhere to live , good at keeping up with bills and house keeping. Easy going and friendly.
Hi! My name is Anna, I am a full-time masters of architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I would enjoy a fun, social house - with some shared meals and cooking (I'm vegetarian). I like to focus on study during the week, but also do yoga, go for walks, drink cups of tea and chat, see friends - and I like to go out on the weekends for some beers. I like to keep things very clean and keep rent and bills all happening on time.
Looking for a chill household with an unfurnished room preferably, I've been told I'm friendly and I know how to keep a clean house and a pretty sick garden. I work most nights at a hotel and yes I do come into the house as quiet as the grave if it is past a certain hour, funnily enough I sleep like the dead so no need to return the favour, as for the rest of the time I am rather outgoing. Can adapt easily to most housing situations and respectful of anybody who chooses to share a roof over their head.
Easy going/laid back Kiwi. Looking for a place to move into mid-end of march.Clean, tidy and respectful. Financially stable - Great References if required. I work full-time from 2.45-11pm. Heading into my last semester of food science and technology I am ready to spread my wings into the inner western suburbs with some cool like-minded room mates! I am fairly active, sociable but at the same time like some privacy to get some studying done. Working part time for an insurance company during the week and occasionally at the cinema on the weekend keeps me fairly busy. Ideally want to moving in February but if you're the right people I can work around that. Happy to have a chat or catch up for a quick beer if you think I may be your perfect match. Looking at $160 max rent plus bills. Adam

Hi all, good luck with your searches! A little bit about me: - I'm a 32 year old Social Worker, working full time at a hospital in the city. - Outside of work I like photography, reading, writing, exploring gardens and getting out of Melbourne for a bit. - Over the past 14 years I've lived in various share houses and private rentals and have a full set of adult skills! - I value kindness, humour, respect, and honesty in housemates, and aim to offer these things in return. - I can contribute a few different practical things to the house if needed (eg. washing machine, fridge, couch etc). - Sometimes I need to retreat and have my private space after work, other times I'm more than happy to hang out and chat with housemates if everyone's home! - I don't cope very well with party houses (need beauty sleep for work) or with smokers (migraines). I can be relatively flexible with move in dates, am hoping to find somewhere for at least 6 months with a spot for off street or safe on street car parking. I'd love to find a home with like minded souls who treat home like a sanctuary, please feel free to contact me if you feel like we'd be a good fit!
Hey I'm Kat, 19 and currently looking for some where to live. I work full time in retail so I'm not home majority of the day, but on my days off i usually sleep in and relax. I enjoy the odd dinner every now and again, i am a very sociable person and easy to get along with. I don't smoke. I am respectful of peoples belongings and personal space. For the next 6 months-1 year i will be needing a place to stay until I am ready to get my own place. If you'd like to know more feel free to message me! xx
I am a 27 year old social worker who works full time hours Monday to Friday as a Family Support Worker for an NGO. I was born and raised in Brunswick but I have lived in Moonee Ponds for the past 7 years so I know both areas very well. I also spend a lot of my spare time hanging out in Northcote. My job takes up most of my time as I also run support/education groups that I need to prepare for. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm always happy to share as I tend to make enough to feed an army! I also enjoy watching Netflix and going to the movies, eating out at local Mexican resturants and cafes, hanging out with my younger siblings, having a cheeky Vodka or wine, dancing and being outdoors and I like to try new things via laneway learning. Why live with me: I am a very organised person who will always pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. I like my alone time but also want a place I can feel comfortable to hang out in the communal spaces and have a chat or go for a drink with my housemates. I am quiet, although, I do like to blast my music when I clean but I am always conscious of other people in the house. I am looking for a place to call home long term. I also can come with furniture so let me know what you need and I'm sure I'll have it.
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Easy going, full time employment and reliable. I am clean and tidy, not a huge party animal. Looking for somewhere nice to call home, MUST have somewhere reliable to park my car & preferably my own bathroom
I currently work part time in a cafe. I enjoy art stuff and spend most of my time with my girlfriend. Ideally, I'd like to find a home where I can have my girlfriend stay over when I'm home (I'd likely stay with her for most nights of the week). I've live in two share houses before and have never experienced any problems. I am reliable, clean, friendly and a great cook.
Hello future housemates, My name is Caity, I'm 23 and I'm from Adelaide. But for the past two years I've been living abroad in Manchester in the UK. I got to travel pretty extensively through Europe and have now been to 28 countries. I work mainly in hospitality, I'm currently working at Kooza which is the Cirque du Soleil show at the Flemington racecourse. I'm in search for accomodation for a few weeks, from the 11th of march until the 29th of march. I enjoy cooking and baking, being adventurous, going for walks and hikes, reading, watching a good tv show (probably too many) and going out for a good coffee date. I fancy myself a pretty laid back person, I enjoy spending time with the people I live, sharing a meal and a bottle of wine every now and then. While also having personal space and being able to veg out in my room all day sometimes. So if you have a spare room that fits my short term requirement please get in touch with me.
Hi! We are Leon (30) and Monika (28) and a couple of 2 years. I am Australian and Monika is Polish (fluent in English and French as well). We have previously lived in Sweden, Scotland, France and Poland respectively and now we'll be in Australia for the forseeable future. I have returned to Oz after 3 years away and Monika is experiencing Melbourne for the first time. I'm working part-time and also studying. Monika has her Masters in Sociology & Film Studies and works part-time. We love movies, gigs and the beach. Naturally travelling is very important to us too. I skew closer to more of a bookworm and Monika is all about culture (events, festivals) and nature (again, beach!). I like to think we are easygoing people with a broad range of interests. We've previously both lived alone, together, in sharehouses and student dormitories so we know the deal of different living situations and how to adjust to make it enjoyable for everyone. Kindness and respect above all are qualities important to us. As well as a balance of socialising and privacy, friendliness, cleanliness and a sense of humour! :)
I work full time in St Kilda Road so the week days are always busy. Down to earth, reliable, tidy, fun person. Enjoy, excercising, sights, new scenes, food, art, music and am always down for a good conversation.
Friendly and honest D&D playing guy from the country, looking for a place around halfway through the year, as I'm planning on going to VU. Must be okay with having trans occupants, but don't really want to move into an exclusively queer house. Furnished or unfurnished is fine, but I'd like to be able to put up a poster or two.
Looking to move into an existing place or join up with 1-2 others and start a house share in the north west area. I'm pretty quiet, respecful of space and easy to get along with
I am 25 and in my final year of an Education degree (Hurry up October!). I love a good netflix binge and some wine. I also enjoy socialising whether that be a low key chill out with my friends (often ending in karaoke) or a night on the town. I am pretty relaxed, and easy to get along with. I previously lived in a U.S college dorm with 2 other girls sharing a room and we did just fine. I can be shy at first but once comfortable I am an open book and will happily engage in conversation (I love being around chatty people, or people who will listen to my chit chat). I do have a steady income with a permanent shift at work, plus plenty of additional work in between and I receive youth allowance. I have lived overseas twice (both U.S) and know from this that I am fairly adaptable. Having been an international student I have many friends from all over the world and get along with lots of different cultures. I am looking for something for 6 months to a year (then potentially on going) in Brunswick, West Melbourne or surrounds... basically a few km's North or West of the CBD, Yarraville is also good. Additionally, if pets are an option I would love to add a rabbit or adopt a cat once I move, but obviously if this can't be done then that is fine... just a wish list item, and if you happen to have a furry friend all the better!
