Hey! I'm Kiara, 22 years old and looking for like-minded housemate/s in the Inner West. Ideally looking for a friend who is tidy, open-minded and understanding of the balance of being an extrovert and introvert. I'm into collecting second hand bric-a-brac, yoga, vegetarian food, masala chai, plants, a holistic and wholesome approach to living, reducing plastic consumption and all things herbal (including waving palo santo and a smudge stick around the house). I'm in no rush to move just yet as I'm still saving my foundation for a bond and furniture but am looking for a new beginning by September when I will commence my studies in Health Science in Natural Therapies. I'm currently working at a yoga studio in Newtown & am an amateur/volunteer yoga teacher in the works. I am open to sharing an apartment with 1 or 2 people, or a bigger house/terrace with a group - preferably girls. My goal is to create a home that is open, bright and spacious for creativity, self-care and positive energy. Think along a picturesque Pinterest post ;) If this sounds like I'm on your vibe and you won't be turned off my typical-hippie-inner-west attributes, hit me up and we can grab a coffee to chat all things home-y! :)))) Kiki xxx
I am a friendly and tidy person,I feel like I'm at work alot more than I am at home! I do shiftwork and can have a variety of start times so im looking for someone similar to rent with so we can both respect each other's sleep requirements. I dont entertain at home much and prefer to spend my days off either out having meals with friends or catching up on my laundry and watching tv.When I am at home I spend the bulk of my time on my computer or reading so generally I am a quiet person and am looking for someone similar. I'm currently looking at getting a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment somewhere along the t2 inner west line and am looking for one other person to live there with me.my current lease has expired and I can move with 3 weeks notice, I am happy to go on the bond alone.
I work full time in the city for a Government agency but I'm from Western Sydney. I'm financially stable and a very easy-going person. I'm more than happy to pitch in and do housework, up-keep of the place, do communal grocery shopping etc. I'm a pretty quiet person during the week - after work I really just like to chill and watch TV or go out to dinner with friends. I do want to be more active on weekends so I likely won't be home. I don't smoke and I don't drink but I'm more than happy to have a post-work chat (I'll just be the one drinking coke while you lot drink wine haha) I have a background in political science and gender theory but I'm not someone who likes to convert people or anything of the sort though happy to have a chat if you're interested. I'm also studying law at the moment part-time. I also volunteer with a couple of different projects/organisations so I try and keep busy. What i'm looking for: Rent+bills: preferably 350 max but might go higher for ensuite or private bathroom Flatmates: all women or majority women Room: private not shared but has room for queen bed and drawers/wardrobes/extra space Internet: better than the ADSL 2 (more like ADSL zero) I have now House: with as many windows as possible, i'm a sucker for natural light places and ones that are homey/comfortable (seriously willing to buy a comfy couch to contribute to this)
Hi my name is Daniel, I'm 28 and I'm currently working as a policy officer at a national LGBTI health organisation in Newtown. I'm friendly and outgoing and enjoy reading, exercising, music, going to the beach and movies, as well as drinking copious amounts of tea. I'm considerate of others, take initiative with keeping a clean home environment and respectful and considerate of people's personal space and privacy. I love having a good yarn but also appreciate having some quiet time, especially after work and towards bed time. I am an open and honest housemate who can communicate clearly about figuring out the house dynamics.
I'm a friendly working professional who is moving to Sydney on Tuesday Oct 2nd for a new job. I work in publishing so if you love books I can let you know about all the new releases. I spend most of my time reading (for work and fun) as well as catching up with friends. I have a small dog (seriously, he weighs 2.5 kilos) that goes everywhere with me and loves everyone he meets. I've rented for the last 5 years and love living with friendly people. I'm very considerate and tidy and always up for sharing meals and laughter.
I am an Indian Software professional holding an Australian PR. I am relocating to Sydney some time in 3rd or 4th week of Sep 2018 and looking for a temporary accommodation for 2 or 3 months before finding a permanent place to bring my family later. I am clean, tidy, and fun loving individual. I am looking for a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (not to be shared) within walking distance to train station and less than 30 mins to CBD.
Hi! I'm Tania, 35, work full time in events (with the occasional travel during the year). I like chilling out at home during the week, and then most weekends are spent catching up with family or friends. I am a sociable housemate who is always up for a chat, but totally respect your privacy. Happy for a communal dinner or glass of wine. Most of my time is spent either at work (during the week, with the occasional weekend shift or travel), or catching up with family or friends. Would also like some more brunch recommendations.
We are all first/second year university students who are looking for a place with 3 bedrooms to move into as of December-January. We will all be studying full time, at UNSW, Macquarie, and USYD, as well as working. We are quiet, tidy, all non smokers, and we don't own any pets. Our max budget is $650 per week for all 3 bedrooms, and having the bills/internet included in the price would be really great! Somewhere with basic furnishings such as a fridge and a washing machine would also be ideal. Please don't hesitate to contact me for any information, or if you would like to look at our social media accounts to check us out! :)
I'm Gino, an IT professional who currently works for an educational institute. I'm originally from Philippines and I've been living here in Sydney for more than 5 years now. I'm a happy go lucky person and I enjoy hearing stories from people with different backgrounds. I can mingle with people and have a good time and also enjoy staying in my room just to feel the peace. I don't mind people who smoke or even pets. I'm looking for a place near the station and also kinda near the city because I work there.
I'm looking for an unfurnished room (with own bathroom, or not shared with more than one person) in a very clean home close to public transport. I work full time on weekdays so they’re pretty low key for me. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak, so I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people. I really enjoy alone time, but always up for a chat with drinks. I have a cute little cavoodle puppy living with me part time. He's toilet trained and I intend to keep him indoors. He’d go to work with me during the day, so he’s basically only ever home when I am. Definitely interested in teaming up with other dog owners to find a pet friendly place and set up a new home. I have a place in mind if anyone's interested.
I am a 35 year-old professional female looking to either find a female flatmate to move into my existing apartment (as my flatmate is moving out) or find someone that I could team up with to find a new place. The lease on my current apartment comes to an end on 9 October 2018. I would consider myself an open-minded, considerate, , spiritual, inquisitive, and quirky individual that values my own space but also enjoys sharing a bottle of wine and meal with a flatmate and discuss random topics like reality TV shows and American politics. I am an economist by background, and recently returned from working in Asia for around 5 years. I spent the first 13 years of my life in Germany, then migrated to Australia, I would consider myself a global citizen (sorry, I know that's sounds wanky..but can't think of a better term). I love exposure to different culture, food and people. I am also very passionate about social issues. I work long hours at work, and bring sometimes work home, and therefore would like to live with someone that is a full-time student or full-time work that understands the importance of silence after 11pm on a work day. The most important thing for me is: 1) to live in a place that is close to public transport. I am open to consider places outside of the nominated places, provided its close to public transport. 2) I work in Martin Place and work late hours, so accessing public transport is important. 3) I like the idea of having my own bathroom, but am happy to consider a shared bathroom. 4) Live with someone that can avoid being a passive aggressive. You will always encounter some issues when you live with a person, and the best way to address them is to be open and honest and articulate expectations and concerns. I have quite a bit of my own furniture (really nice furniture...if i may say so), and am happy to bring it along to the new place or put it in storage. I have my own car, so would like to have a place to park the car. I am looking to move into an existing place, or find a suitable flatmate and look for a place together. I am looking for a long-term housing solution. So happy to consider anything above a 6 month period. Not sure whether the above is useful to give a picture what I am about. I feel there is only a limited value in writing a profile, and the rest is really about talking to a potential flatmate and seeing whether you connect.
Originally from Perth and are currently working full time in the Sydney CBD as a Project Manager. I am super clean and tidy and I am looking for a share house preferably in Sydney's Inner West. I love going out/going to gigs, getting drinks and having fun. I previously lived in a share house in Glebe where roommates worked nights so I fully understand that aspect
Hey! I’m full-time student and part time worker. I will start studying in WSU in Hawkesbury, so my preferable locations are Strathfield, Homebush or any suburb close to that train station line. I’m after a private furnished room up to 220$/pw. I am easy to socialise with, love traveling and of course Australia! Did it mach all criteria’s above? Hit me up! :)
Hey :) I'm 23, work full time Mon-Fri in Parramatta. I'm a sociable person, love meeting new people. I'm tidy, considerate, active, friendly, regularly out and about with friends, pretty chill. I like reading, cooking, music, tv, wine... the list could go on.
Hi I'm lex moving to Sydney from California on a WHV. I'll be there for a year and I'm hoping for longer. I'm looking to live with people who enjoy a good night out for a boogie, exploring, grabbing drinks, sharing music playlists, respectful to privacy, and is flexible. AKA someone who's very easy to live with because I've lived with a lot of "Type A" people during college and all I wanted them to do was drink a glass of wine and just relax. I'm not picky at all but am definitely balling on a budget for this year off. Message me if you're keen on renting a place!!
Theatre professional and freelance graphic designer from the Sunshine Coast/Brisbane, who has lived out of home since I was 22. Looking to relocate to Sydney in October after a 6 month national tour of a musical and looking for a place to call home. A little about me: I'm an avid tea drinker, music lover, theatre-goer, netflix binger, shower singer, yoga enthusiast, self-awarded masterchef winner 2016. My ideal house is queer friendly, progressive, tidy and inviting with a sense of home. A space I can contribute to and everyone is at ease...but most importantly a gas stove.
Socialised introvert describes me well, as I like to chat and be social but I definitely like some time on my own too. I like to keep where I live functionally clean and have almost 20 years of house sharing experience. I'm reliable when it comes to paying the rent & bills on time. I'm happy to live with pets and can be relied on to look after them if you need to go away. I'm a public servant in the arts sector and do pretty standard hours Monday-Friday, along the lines of 9.30-6.00. I occasionally travel for work. I grew up in Sydney, but have lived in a few different places. I moved back to Sydney at the end of last year & I am enjoying rediscovering this city.
I’m Aneta and I’m 19 years old. I’m from Poland and I came to Sydney to learn English. I go to school from Monday to Friday. On the weekends I like chilling out in home or going out with friends. I’m quiet, clean person and easy to live with.
Hi there :) My name is Rachel, I'm 24 years old and I currently live in Wollongong, NSW. I am looking for accommodation with three separate bedrooms for myself and two other young women. We are all professionals moving to Sydney in January to start working full time at Barangaroo. We are looking for accommodation located near, or within the CBD and would like to pay between $200 - $300 per week each. We are all easy going, tidy and down to earth people. As we will be working Monday to Friday, we will probably not be spending too much time at home during the week, however, we will be there on the weekends. Thank you for reading my listing!
