Hey! I'm Ashan and I work full-time in Financial Services in the CBD. I'm looking for a place that's kept clean, and with flatmates that communicate well and openly. I'm clean and generally out socialising or at work most times but when I'm home I like to watch a movie or chill out. I'm always respectful and quiet at home. Send me a message.
My name is Joseph Sweeney, and I am an Industry Analyst that works for Telsyte, an emerging technology research group. I mainly focus on the games industry analysis and research, and work closely with the Interactive games & entertainment association (iGEA) as well as with the major games companies in Australia, such as Sony PlayStation and Activision\Blizzard. I currently am working part-time, usually working 4 days a week, and I am moving onto full time. I make roughly $2200 a month after tax and super, and my payment period is changing to fortnightly, so roughly $1100 a fortnight. Typical work hours are 8:30am-5:30pm. I am 23 years old, quite chill and considerate of others. I am quite into a lot of nerdy or geeky things, but won’t bring them up if no one is interested. I would probably spend most of my time quietly in my room, but I am still up to chatting and hanging out. I am quite clean around the house, I don’t like to leave stuff around, except for some junk in my room. I do keep my room clean, it just gets a bit untidy before laundry day. I am absolutely up for doing any housework (bathrooms, kitchen etc.) but I won’t clean up other people’s dishes, unless it was a shared cooking meal. I do cook, and I tend to clean up my stuff after I have finished eating. My hobbies includes; Games – mostly PC games, I do chat with friends online when playing together, but I normally try to keep it down, and I don’t play online past 10pm (earlier if need be). Music – I do own several guitars and instruments, but I usually only mess around on my electric unplugged, to not disturb anyone else. I don’t own any sound systems either, and only really listen to things through my earphones. Food – Love food, love cooking and love exploring and seeing what restaurants are good. Also like to indulge in junk food for time to time (probably more than I should). Other notes; I don’t smoke. I don’t drink much, but am still down to hangout when people do. I rarely go out/come back late. My work is in the CBD. I will set my bank account to auto-pay whoever is in charge of the rent money early, so I am never late with rent. I do own a pet pygmy bearded dragon (he was a rescue that my old roommate found, that I took over looking after), but she live in a tank in my room and won’t come out. He does not make any mess or smell and does not make a sound, you will probably forget she is even there. I am allergic to mothballs, so please let me know if you use them. Otherwise I don’t have any other medical needs.
1. I am from China and just graduated from the University of Melbourne, I just came to Sydney 3 months ago. I am now looking for a place to live in more than 3 months. I prefer a fully furnished place with the appliance and facilities in the apartment. The budget is flexible around $400/wk 2. I sometimes like singing at home 3. I usually cook and because I am keeping fit and building muscle so the cuisine is simple and light which is not well-shared. 4. I would like to communicate frequently with the topic about how to improve our relationship as a flatmate. I don't want each of us feels unhappy or uncomfortable with each other's behaviors. I prefer to talk directly about each's concerns. For example, some little stuff such as dishwashing, noise and taking out the trash. We shall make a deal before that and try to compliance that. Once bad things happen, we can communicate immediately.
Hi there, Easy going Canadian who just moved over from Whistler, Canada. Love the beach, outdoors and getting to know new people. Looking for a private room, am very clean and will be studying full time early next year. Currently working full time so out a lot but would be nice to catch up for a chat when home!
I'm a super easy-going gal, who doesn't like to cause a fuss. I'm good fun and love to chat. Currently working in hospo so bring home plenty of left overs... which are banging by the way! I'm tidy myself, but not necessarily a complete nazi to other people's way of living. I'm just down to earth and chill. Don't mind people who like to bring their friends back, a bit of a shindig from time to time is alright. I do like to keep myself to myself most of the times but definitely don't avoid people on purpose. Am always down for a chat if you fancy, or a glass of vino. Im open-minded, have no horrific right-winged views on anything and believe that positivity and love conquers all. Majorly into food and wine, cheese aswell! I like making pastries and cooking random things with a glass of wine and good music. I am a music lover also, who likes to get down n dirty on the dance floor de temps en temps. PEACE OUT! Jen xx
Hi I’m Georgia, I’m 26 and currently working part time and studying Business. As a flat mate I’m generally pretty quiet. I am kept really busy between uni, work and the gym so as much as I enjoy a catch up, I’m also not invasive. I am clean and looking for someone who also cleans up after themselves. I’ve lived with a large number of people in the past (6) so am looking for something a bit smaller. I’d prefer a team up, I’m ready to start my own place but also don’t have house furniture yet.
Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm making the big move to Sydney from Melbourne July 11th/12th. Looking to rent a furnished room (I'll have all my own bedding) for approximately 3 months minimum while job and apartment hunting. I do have a car so there needs to be either unrestricted parking or off street parking. I'll be respectful of your home, your space and am very reliable, clean, tidy and very easy to live with. I'm flexible with the area as long as it's not a long trip into the city. Thanks to those who have messaged, I will do my best to get back to you in the next day or so.
Hi Future Flatmates! I'm Kim. Super easy going, house trained ( having lived in shared houses since I was 23), pay my bills on time and a positive person. I lead a reasonably healthy lifestyle, do a bit of yoga at home, go on the odd jog and try not to eat my weight in kettle chips. I do not smoke or party. A bit past that. I am looking for a nice cubby safe little spot to call home while I sort out some stuff, preferably close to public transport. If I look like someone who you'd like to share your home with, do drop us a line! Ps. I am horribly allergic to puppies, whilst I really like them I can't be around them unless I have my epi-pen handy. :(
We are a couple currently studying and working part time and are looking for a place near WSU. Ty is a health food retail assistant and Cleo is a music teacher. We love the occasional adventure, bouldering, camping, hiking, etc. We have experience pet- and house-sitting and can provide references if necessary. Ty likes cooking and trying new recipes and is happy to give flatmates a taste. He is tidy and friendly and not too afraid to clean the bathroom or do bin runs! He is also studying nursing and is happy to patch you up free of charge should the need arise. Cleo likes to study at home with a cup of tea, so is usually around to socialise or help with chores. She is patient and very good with kids (and tired grownups).
Hi ! I'm Sushila. I work as an Interior Designer and have been living in Sydney for the past 5 years. I'm a quiet person, value my space but do like to socialize. I'm reasonably neat and am happy to chip in with my share of household duties. In my downtime I enjoy yoga, movies, shopping and long walks.
Hi, I’m a 28 year old electrician from Brisbane, moving to Sydney to work on the tunnel in Lidcombe. Never been to Sydney before but have travelled extensively through Europe, America and Asia and lived in Perth, Darwin and Mackay. Zero party tricks but love a laugh, random convos and having a couple of drinks. Cheers
Hi new housemates! No twin rooms. My name is Charli and I'm clean, respectful and have pretty decent banter. I work as an Executive Assistant for a HR company in the city and I'm a former hairdresser by trade. My best friends are LGBT+, and I have them over for civilised dinner and drinks once or twice a month, I scour gin bars and love a good brunch. I spend most weekends at Coogee or Clovelly beach. As much as I love the area I live in at the moment (Surry Hills) I would like to find one other 20-35 year old housemate only , who is much more like myself. Clean, moderately sociable and considerate. Cat friendly house is a must + people who have fun but don’t bring it home! This is my biggest problem at the moment - I work long hours so like to come home to a haven, if you will. Furnished own room preferred but open to unfurnished own room.
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a stay of 6 months or more. I'm 33 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a couple who are moving overseas in a few weeks time. The most important thing for me is having a home where I feel safe and able to be myself. I'm a trans woman, and an LGBT inclusive household is a must. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties or loud friends over every night etc. I'm a pretty friendly and gentle person, but sometimes a bit shy with new people to begin with. I'm happy to chat away with housemates, or just do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and shared areas in the same condition. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, and weekends I'm often out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable, I'm also prepared to quickly sign up and transfer a bond and advance rent as required. My preferred budget is around $250 pw, but still contact me if your price is similar.
Subject: Flatmates profile Hi, my name is Aylin and I'm 28 years old. I work full-time Monday through to Saturday which keeps me pretty busy. I have a warm and bubbly personality and love spending quality time with good people. During the week I am pretty low key and on the weekends I love spending time outdoors, catching up with friends, family, going out for drinks and good food. Im generally quite busy but absolutely love my downtime at home with a glass of wine, watching a movie with my house mate. For me, my home is my haven. This means that I take great care to keep it clean and tidy and to make it a welcoming and relaxing space to be in.
Work in construction management, after a place close by work, that I can come to and relax. I have an interest in design also enjoy going on walks, to the gym, playing footy and fifa! Finally, love to cook with a drink or two when possible.
I'm a web developer working full time for a company in North Sydney. I am Australian citizen with Russian background, living in Sydney for almost 7 years now. I like travelling overseas, I go to Russia at least once a year and also love Thailand. Currently living in North Strathfield in a very nice, clean and quiet townhouse near the train station. Looking for a new accomodation as my landlord's cousin has come from overseas and taking over my room. I do play tennis, enjoy gym, I like travelling. I would prefer a nice, clean place where everyone respect each other. I do not cook much and stay at home mostly at night time.
Hi! I’m Laura looking for a room with my boyfriend Eduard. We are both architects from Barcelona on our late 20s. Eduard is moving from Melbourne to teach at the UTS and I’m moving from Barcelona to look for a job in an arch studio. We are pretty relaxed and open-minded and liked to live in a shared house with a nice atmosphere. We like to share meals, drinks and good conversations with our housemates but also need our own private space sometimes, nothing out of the ordinary :)
I am an emergency physician from the Philippines who already passed the written test part of the Australian Medical Council exams and will be reviewing for the second part of the exam which I target to sit on October this year. I will be enrolling in a review course in Churchill Ave Strathfield so I need to be near that area. My partner is an Australian nurse, whom I've been together for more than 8 years. We don't have any kids or pets. We both love to travel and have been in various countries over the past few years. We usually just keep to ourselves, but we're outgoing, neat, and always kept our place tidy when we were living together in the Philippines.
Easy to get along with and chill flatmate. Work full time. Looking to team up and get a place or move into an already existing share house. I’m pretty social but also like spending time on my own.
Hello, I am an Indian girl looking out for a shared room/ private room for approx 1 month (could be extended). I prefer to get the room close to CBD. I am holding the PR and arriving Sydney for the first time on 22nd June night. I am a software engineer and would be looking for jobs during my stay. I am an extremely tidy and quiet person. I am flexible and can adjust to my flatmate's needs. Ready to mingle and socialize. It shouldn't be a problem sharing a flat with me.
