I'm a busy medical student at the university of Sydney and my passions include cooking, talking, good wine and great beer. I'm social, love to have a few drinks and a few friends around, but responsible and reliable. Looking for a place to move into whenever as I'm currently staying with a friend.
My Name is Bon. I am a Student at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) at Surry Hills in Sydney. I am also a trainer and assessor at a Registered Training Organisation, where I basically teach warehousing classes. I am intending on relocating to Sydney in the next two weeks. I don't drink or smoke. Ideally I'd like a room or flat close to a train station and possibly with other students. I do own a car so I'd need a car park. I'm an easy going guy with a lot of ambition and I respect other peoples privacy. Please get back to me If you think I'd be an acceptable flatmate.
Clean, respectful, educated and moving to Sydney to work and live. I'm looking for a place to call home ASAP, not into party houses but rather somewhere where I can live with other relaxed housemates who wouldn't mind grabbing a drink or a meal together and exploring the city but are respectful of each other's time. I'm looking for a private room with a move in date of no later than May 4 and able to lock-in before my arrival. If I sound like the housemate you're looking for then click on that message button! Please only message if you're looking for a housemate.
Hello! My name is Shawn and i am 25 years old and from the UK. I am looking for a PRIVATE ROOM I am new to Australia and found myself work in Sydney. I am currently living in a hostel and would like to find somewhere cheaper but close to transport to get to work and back everyday. There is a possibility i could stay for longer than 3 months depending on work. Hope to hear from you soon! Shawn
My new flat mate of 1 day received an exciting work opportunity in Melbourne, so I am looking a room to rent in the Lane Cove area. I am a professional working in the Sydney CBD. I am a clean and tidy person (my current housemates love this quality about me). I also like to be friendly and social with my housemates, often enjoying a glass of wine and a chat. Importantly, I am considerate and appreciate space. I have a car; however, a car space is not necessarily required (although it would be useful). I will be leaving Australia to travel on at the end of August, so my 'length of stay' will be around 4 and a half months.
Hi there! My name is Tereza, I come from Czech Republic, I am 27 years old. I have been studying and working in Sydney for one year and half. I´am very friendly and easy going person, study in CBD and looking for some nice room for living. I would really like to live with English speaking people as my English is still not so much good now and I would like to get improve it :-) The place what I am looking for should be clean, furnished, near the town (max 30 min), and the place where is possible to cook as I prepar the meal for every day :-) And I am sorry, but I prefer quite place, I am not a party girl :-) Living in a clean household is important to me, as is being socially adept. Thanks in advance Tereza
Hi there, I'm Sarah from Scotland and I have just moved to Sydney after travelling around Australia and NZ for the last few months. I'm 25, work full-time in a media agency, I'm very friendly, respectful and easy going, and I'm looking for a great bunch of people to share with over the next 3-9 months. I'm a bit of a foodie and love going out for brunch at the weekends! I also enjoy going to the gym and playing sports, going hiking, and enjoy the occasional night out with friends :)
Hi! I'm Rebecca (usually Bec), 32 year old professional female originally from the States (grew up outside NYC), and have been living in Sydney for nearly four years. Friends and family would describe me as open-minded, accepting, expressive, funny, quirky, and compassionate. Love travel, comedy, coffee, wine tasting, exploring new restaurants/bars, watching TV series, and getting stuck into an investigative podcast or book. I'm pretty crafty too and enjoy cooking, so a little DIY project or recipe is always on the cards. I work full-time at a national charity in the CBD, and at night I'm taking it easy, watching some TV (sometimes reality, I admit), and at the gym/excercising outdoors or catching a comedy show. Otherwise, my weekday eves are pretty cruisey, with cooking dinners and making it to bed before 11pm if I'm not sucked into a 60 minutes episode. I am happy to spend a Saturday night in with a movie (Wentworth at the moment), Though my party days are over (though I do like a night out once in a while), I am quite social so it's usually a long lunch, dinner, drinks or BBQ at a friend's place. Keen to have a nice easy-going relationship with my housemates, honest and open and friendly, and happy to hang out once in a while (or more if we get on well). Would like to be comfortable calling my new place 'home'. Glad to chat more about me, answer any questions, and look forward to meeting some like-minded housemates! Cheers, Bec
We are a couple from Newcastle! I just recently got offered a full time position in Surry Hills, so the move to Sydney is a little rushed! We're hard working, but we love to relax on the weekends. We'd love someone easy going to live with!
Hello everybody, I'm currently living in SA and have just about had enough of this place frankly, I just cannot get work here to save my life. I live in a nice house that my parents spent all their money rebuilding, but I need to move out for my own good. I love Sydney and Melbourne and think its a good place to start. I'm pretty quiet overall, but have a better sense of humour than many and enjoy travelling and photography. I tend to prefer staying at home, I never have been and never will be of the "party type", its not for me. I'm an online gamer too and thus my only prerequisite is an immediate wired internet connection. I am ready to move at any moment's notice. Currently not working at the present moment but feel a change in scenery is exactly what I need to find something. Thanks, Anthony.
We are both professional full time working males from Germany. We are outgoing on the weekends and like to keep it easy and simple during the week. We are tidy and after weeks (or month?) of staying in a hostel we just want our own shelf and closet. Both of us are smoker but we don't mind if we have to go outside for a smoke. We could move in on the 6th of may. Our budget is around $280 p.p. max! Preferable something around 200 or less. Cheers! Luka and Noor
I'm really easy-going. I like being an introvert but I'm always up for hanging out too for movie nights or something! Basically I'm a sociable hermit, who enjoys socializing but also enjoys being holed up at home :) I just moved to Sydney last year from New Zealand so I'm still settling in. I currently work at Priceline North Sydney and in my spare time I like to do illustration, as well as play my Playstation 4 or go out exploring a bit more of Sydney. My PS4 does come with Netflix too 😆 I also know how to clean, I'm a pretty good cook but I'd say I'm a better baker. I make a really good banoffee pie...just saying. I'm good at chores as well, my Mum taught me well! Hope to meet my new future flatmates soon :D P.S: I'm definitely not looking to share a room with anyone so please don't message me about a shared room you have available. Also I have no problems living with smokers, as long as the actual smoke is never inside the house. Boundaries folks!
I am fitness coach Hey :) My name is Hamada , I am 39 years old ) I am desperately looking for a place to stay. Anywhere is fine, as long as it isn't far from the city (work is near the city). I study Sport and Recreation at the moment. I love sport (running is my thing but I like to practise other sport). I like to party but always out (don't really want to live in a party house). I am always keen for a chat, a glass of wine, to go exploring Brisbane or around and to meet new people :) Looking forward to meeting my new housemates !!
Hi my name is James, I work in HR and am studying my masters of physiotherapy. I am a friendly and clean person who is out going and down to earth. I am very much into health and fitness and love raquet sports (especially tennis). I also love playing video games (have a ps4) and watching movies.
Working full time as a carpenter, grew up in the country. Moved to Sydney for work. Currently living in Caringbah, looking for a new place because my current lease isn't far from running out. Any further questions or anything you would like to know about myself please feel free to send me a message. Cheers :)
Hi, I am a postgraduate student, working part time. Joy is currently working as a graphic designer, on working holiday. We are looking for a house-share. If you have 2 rooms available, or are someone looking for 2 other people to rent a place in July, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are both clean and easygoing. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! **We are looking to pay about 250 each.
I am a happy, caring and quiet female who would like to move away from home for more independence, sharing with just one other person of same nature, a non smoker, in a quiet environment, close to transport. I am okay with someone having a cat or a small dog. For fun I enjoy going to the beach, creating craft and seeing to movies/shows. Nightclubbing or pubs do not really appeal to me. Currently I live around the lower Shire of Sydney. I receive the Disability Support Pension, which pays quite a lot and is obviously a very reliable source of income. I am also eligible for Rent Assistance. Rent/bills etc would never be an issue. Message me if you would like to know more.
I'm a friendly, clean, quiet and private person. I'm in the hospitality/events/expo industry working for the Sydney showgrounds at Olympic park. I was originally from Vietnam with Chinese heritage but I've been living in Australia for 37yrs. I like to cook, read, go fishing, gym or just chill with friends.
I've recently moved from New York to Sydney for work, and I'm looking for a furnished flatshare to move into by the end of May. I'm an American working full-time in advertising / media and keep fairly standard office hours, sometimes working later or working out after work. Since I'm new to Sydney, I'm excited to get out and explore the city, but I also enjoy a quiet night at home to cook dinner and relax. I've always lived with roommates in New York, so I'm a respectful flatmate and like to keep shared areas tidy. I'm looking for somewhere to live for a few months, with the option to extend if it's the right fit.
