My name seems a good place to start so my names Lewis and I'm from Scotland. Been traveling for the past 6 months through America and SE Asia, recently arrived in Australia and looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. I'm a 3rd year student studying audio technology, but I've put that on hold whilst I travel. I've worked in a number of cocktail bars and have spent the past 3 summers teaching sailing at a summer camp in NY. Love watching and playing rugby and hanging out with new people over a beer. I'm super easy to get along with and love getting to meet new people.
Hey! My name is Erin and my boyfriend, David, and I are moving from Scotland to Melbourne on the 23rd of February to start our big Australian adventure! We are looking for a place to call our home for our first month in the city, while we explore and find jobs and a long-term apartment to stay in. We are both very clean and respectable people who have lived in flatshares and shared rentals for 10 years. We would prefer our own space, either a studio flat or 1 bedroom but we would be happy to share with the right people! I work as a graphic designer and fashion buyer and David works in technology marketing. We enjoy all things outdoors, exploring new places, travelling, stuffing our faces with delicious food (which I hear Melbourne has lots of!), binge watching tv series, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family. If you have a space you think would be suited to us, please get in touch! Looking forward to hearing from you, Erin

I'm looking to get settled in ASAP so please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. Thanks! Enrique
My name is Miranda, 28 and work full time in toorak for a plastic surgeon. I'm easy going, fun, clean and prompt with payment of bills and rent. I enjoy socialising and am generally catching up with friends on the weekends or going back to my home town as I have only been in Melbourne for 6 months and like to keep things pretty chilled out during the week but I would be interested in sharing the occasional drinks or dinner with housemate/s
My name is Elle, 26yo and work full time in the city at a law firm. I'm easy going, clean and tidy and prompt with payment of bills and rent. I enjoy socialising and am generally catching up with friends on the weekends and like to keep things pretty chilled out during the week. I play netball once a week, and enjoy checking out new restaurants or bars in Richmond and going to football and tennis. Would be interested in sharing the occasional drinks or dinner with housemate/s
From near Liverpool, UK. Originally came here as a backpacker, but recently sponsored to work full time as a Front End Developer (fancy job title for someone who builds websites). Currently living in Werribee and working in Mulgrave - so hoping to cut that commute down by more than half. I work hard, but don't mind enjoying myself at the weekend with a few beers. I have a terrible coffee habit, which is convenient for me to live in Melbourne. Love snowboarding. Scuba diving. Playing guitar badly (don't worry, the guitar is back in England). Listening to music (Foo Fighters, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, John Butler Trio, Doves, Jack White, The Beatles). Watching TV (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Parks and Recreation, Rick and Morty) and Films (Into the Wild, America Beauty, Batman, Inception, Interstellar etc). Hoping to get straight back into a gym routine once I've settled, so looking forward to that. I'm clean and tidy, so you won't have to worry about living in mess. Love exploring new places, eating at new restaurants and working my way around the many cafes of Melbourne. I'm sociable and outgoing, but also enjoy my own space every now and again. Hoping to find a flat share with like-minded people.
Hi everyone! My name is Paulina. I am 24 years old fresh Economics graduate from Poland. I am coming to Melbourne in November as I got Work and Holiday visa. My plan is to stay there up to a year, working, meeting new people, overally having fun and gathering good experience. It would be awesome to share a space with friendly people around my age, as I am easygoing, positive, sociable person. But at the same time, I respect my own and others' space. As for my spare time - I love music, enjoy watching good series (compulsively), doing sports and hanging out with friends. What I'm seeking to is a single room in a tidy sharehouse or an apartment with 2-3 flatmates at most. Available from 24th Novmeber. I prefer rather female or mixed company. My preferable rent duration is 1 month at least, up to 6 months, generally flexible, according to how it's gonna work. If you feel that we could get along well living together, please feel free to contact me!

If you feel as if I am the right fit for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. Hope to speak soon!

**Looking for 2 rooms** Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!

Hey roomies. I clean up after myself and I am generally tidy. I respect others privacy and space and I am happy to do my part with chores. I usually keep to myself being a fairly quite person and I rarely party or go clubbing, but I do enjoy sociallising and getting out and about. Throughout the week I will be studying, going to gym and working part time. I love animals so pets are not a problem for me. All this aside I am pretty easy going and not much bothers me haha. Feel free to message me! Thanks
I'm moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Mildura. I've got previous experience housesharing both here and in Adelaide and am looking forward to getting back into a share house after renting on my own in Mildura. I'm from the UK originally, moving to Australia at 21. I have a solid, full-time government job and in my spare time I enjoy going out, doing interesting stuff and travelling. I'd be great to live with as I'm a relatively low-maintenance housemate, I enjoy a laugh and having a good convo, but I have enough of my own interests that I won't be a pain. Bills and rent will be paid on time, cleaning will be done and a good time will be had by all!
My name's Tyler, I'm 22 years old and I'm a university student at the University of Newcastle, and a permanent part-time waiter/kitchen hand/bartender/receptionist at Mooney Mooney Club as of April 2013; I'm both studying and securely employed. All that's changing however! I'm moving to Melbourne in early December this year and I'm looking for a place to live long term. I'm pedantic when it comes to cleaning and tidying up after myself (working in hospitality will do that to you, I guess!), however still working on my desk work organisation... I'm very sociable (except when I start gaming or reading, then I'm dead to the world!) and love to talk often. When I am home, however, I don't mind cooking or helping with the cooking. If possible I'm looking for a place with a fast internet connection with a large allowance as I do like online gaming in my spare time. I look forward to hearing from you, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Regards, Tyler Grenfell
I am a fun but sensible guy in Australia for a year, looking for a room in a place I can call home for the next 3 months. I am very tidy and considerate of the property and other housemates, but also social and like to chat watching tv in the evenings. I like to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink but would not abuse this at the property. I look forward to hearing from you!
I am English student I am CLEAN, tidy, honest and friendly I'm a young, active respectful person. Looking for somewhere to stay. I'm very easy going and enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences.
Hi there! My boyfriend and I are about to bring our 5 month SE Asia travels to an end as we are flying to Melbourne tomorrow to live and work for at least a few months. We are 29 & 28, originally met while both living in London but have spent the last few years living in NYC. I'm American born and Olly is from Wales and we both love our traveling, super social and game for a laugh. We most definitely wouldn't label ourselves as a typical couple as we enjoy our independence and extremely easy going. Think it's the way it should be! We are also both extremely respectful of other people's possessions, space etc. and certainly not the messy type.
I am 29 yo European who just moved to Melbourne for two years. I was told to be an easy-going flatmate and guest as I tend to turn a blind eye for most of petty habits people have that might drive others crazy. It might be true, but I do enjoy tidy environment (shared spaces - kitchen and bathroom - especially). I am far from being meticulous, though. I work a lot, so usually during the day will I won't be at home. In the evenings and weekends I do regular stuff - cook, watch TV, play video games, read a book, swim, excercise, go out. As I will get more friends here, propotion of going out will probably increase. I love playing board games, so if you do too, we just might become best friends. I enjoy a good company, interesting conversations, occasional inteligent banter. If you have a hobby that involves other people and you are passionate about it, I just might join you. From time to time I need a quiet place and some me-time. I enjoy alcohol as every other guy or girl, but getting drunk every other day is not for me. As I am new in Australia, in my free time I plan to explore it. Oh, and some of my friends plan to visit me, so please, mind that from time to time some international people my pop by.
Hey folks! I have just moved from NZ to Melbourne and need somewhere to live. Looking for people who are easy going - I'm really into live music and like to play gigs, love people with a good sense of humour. Hard working but also likes to relax with a few quiet ones or go out on the town :) Cheers!
I'm a fourth year Monash University student studying a Bachelor of Arts/Education, next year will be my final year of my degree! I'm extremely friendly and outgoing- I love to socialise with lots of different people, and go out with my friends. I have been described as someone who is very easy to get along with. I'm a very hardworking person and really apply myself to any commitments/jobs/tasks I'm allocated to. I tend to have a very busy schedule working 3 part-time jobs, as well as studying, and this makes me really value the time I have to myself. Even though I am a very social person, I love to fill my free time by relaxing on my own, drinking cups of tea and reading novels. I fuel my energy into regularly taking dance classes, and have an intense passion for admiring dogs, and listening to music.
My name is Alix. Originally from France, I am 22 years old and working full time as a Receptionist. I am easy going and friendly. Respectful and mindfull of peoples own space, I am not difficult to live with! I am not a party animal and usually love keeping things quiet during the week and weekend. Although i am not a hermit and love exploring on the weekends. I am looking for somewhere to share preferably with a girl! Or a couple.
Hey all, I'm looking for a room for me +1 quiet and friendly, mature, housetrained cat named Charlie. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my degree. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). Like to enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, very into openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. Can pay a pet bond, 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Also looking for new house share start-ups! Feel free to fire any questions my way :)
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student from Singapore who will be studying in University Of Melbourne. I'm a 20 year old Chinese guy, fluent in both English and Mandarin. I like music, night life, outdoor activities, almost all kinds of sports, and visit the gym regularly (literally just everything that a "teenager" loves). I'm usually very quiet, but talkative with people i'm close with. My goal is to get really good results in University, while at the same time thoroughly enjoying this overseas studying experience. I'd love to make new friends and learn about cultures different from mine. Hope to have a pleasant experience with you!
Hey everyone I'm Alli! I'm a 19 year old girl working full time with a casual weekend bar job as well I'm looking for a private room in a fun, friendly but respectful and still generally quiet share house I'm easy to get along with and reliable with bills etc I have a car so a house with a car space is necessary :) I look forward to chatting to you all! :) ~Alli
Hi! I'm Anja, I'm 23 and I'm from Germany. I'll be staying in Melbourne for 6 months, working full-time as a marketing assistant for BSH Home appliances. I love working out (gym + yoga + just started surfing) and I definitely am a foodie. Can't wait to explore all the restaurants and bars in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, tidy and looking to live with people who enjoy socialising at the weekends and people I can be friendly with, not just somewhere to sleep!
I'm an accepting, friendly/social Nutrition Science student with lowwww animal product intake (non-dairy milks, almost no meat and only eggs sometimes, but not completely veggo) and I train Brazilian jiu jitsu about 5+ times a week when I'm not busy with other projects like my apparel side project. :) I'm LGBTIQ friendly, feminist, excited to learn new things, noise conscious, clean and relaxed, and almost always out working, training or studying so I'm rarely hanging around the house. I strive to always maintain good vibes even when I've had a rough day and am down for a chat or a gin on days off!
Tidy, friendly, respectful kiwi who's looking for a fully-furnished place to crash in Melbourne from Dec 28th-Jan 27th, about one month all up! Working part-time at a cafe in the city, spend my time doing improvised comedy during the evenings. I love food, coffee, reading, learning, museums, and exercising. Looking to start hip hop classes too! I'm reliable, respectful of other's spaces, and am looking for a tidy home :) Not sexist, racist or homophobic, and hope that future flatmates wouldn't be either!
I'm a 24 and currently employed full-time in the construction sector as a civil engineer. I am currently living by myself in a two bedroom town house but would prefer the company of roommates. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with and very sociable. I am well mannered and like to keep things neat and organised. My ideal room mates would be people of similar age who would rather classify each other as friends and share a couple of drinks every now and then than people who just shut themselves away in their rooms. In my spare time I love to both play and perform music (I'm a guitarist but promise I won't make noise!) and binge watch whatever TV series I'm hooked on at the time. I have had experience living in share houses before so I am familiar with what is expected. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
Hi there, We are a British couple settled in Melbourne looking for somewhere to live. We have recently moved out of our house share in South Yarra and looking to find a new place to stay. We are both non smokers, clean and like to think we are pretty laid back haha. We respect peoples person space but also are keen to integrate into a new home. We both work full time in Richmond so don't usually get up to much during the week, however we do love a trip to the beach on a weekend. Hopefully you will be our new flat mate....yayy :) Danny and Sarah
We are a couple from Poland. We have recently moved to Melbourne and now we are looking for a room. We are super friendly, optimistic, and sociable so we love meeting new people and leading long discussions in the kitchen. We are also responsible, tidy, and we respect other people and their privacy. More about us- Kate is a fashion designer, currently working in designer boutique. Primo is a multi-tasking guy, studying English language in the morning, and working in a big warehouse in the evening. We like good food, movies&music, and exploring this beautiful city.
Hi. I am moving to Melbourne from Sydney for work. Ill work 9-5ish in Marketing/Sales so will be out during the week, but love to hang out on the weekend. I am tidy, considerate of noise and am willing to help out around the house of course. I love movies/film and theater and just going out and having fun. Not a huge party animal but I appreciate a good drink or two. Oh brunch, I love brunch too! Also a huge fan of watching sports and the gym and walking around exploring. Generally a really social person so I'd love to make friend with my housemates.
Alright team.... it is with great sadness I seek a new abode as my current housemate has bought an apartment (damn her) and I am not invited. I'm a 26 yr old working professional, been in Melbourne only a few short months, loving the Windsor/Prahran area and would prefer to stay. I'm well experienced with flatting. Love to stay active (soccer, basketball, gym, mountain biking, snowsport), travel when possible, and eat well (can cook!). Work hard through the week and enjoy the weekend - relax, adventure, a few drinks etc., I'm very social. No problems with animals at all and happy to meet and check out new places/people. Not interested in mass flat share or backpacker places. Looking for new friends, similar age similar interests, for the long(ish) term. Feel free to contact me if you think it might work and I'll come say hello. Need a place approx. end November, though flexible.

Hey there, my name is Jahla. I'm in the hope of finding a stable and affordable home to share with someone who is reliable, I am NOT looking for a share room. I'd probably describe myself as pretty chilled, respectful, easy going, positive, fun and social person. I am super clean, so i try to keep the mess to a minimum. I have my own car and license which provides independence.. I'd preferably would like to share with another female, but at the end of the day as long as we can live together comfortably and happily that's all that matters. Regardless of my age I am very independent and mature and able to cater to my own needs. I work full time in Docklands so ill be out from Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you'd like to know more about me, or ask any questions feel free to message me. Look forward to meeting my future flat mate :)
Hi my name is Stef and I am 27. I work full-time in Insurance in the city. I am currently in Brunswick and am looking to make the move to somewhere a bit more social. I am hoping to find somewhere already furnished, as I only own my bedroom furniture and somewhere near transport which allows me to get to work with ease! My lease is up in Jan so would be looking at moving around then. I am fun, easy going and have rented with friends for almost 8 years. I still have a great relationship with everyone I have lived with! I ideally would just like to live with just one other person, someone around a similar age or older! Own bathroom would be amazing but not essential. Pets don't worry me, I'm a non-smoker and like to keep fit and healthy but also love a night out now and then (def not a huge party animal) If you have something coming up which you think I may be interested in please don't hesitate to contact me!
