Hi, my name is Georgie a (recent) 50 year old Desktop Publisher working full time in Oakleigh South. I enjoy going to the movies, eating out, galleries etc. I'm also a bit old school when it comes to music as I enjoy mostly late 70's 80's (I know, tragic!) I'm looking for a unfurnished bedroom and extra large storage space that doesn't leak as I've set up house before with the usual major appliances (fridge, washing machine, microwave etc) and some furniture. I have a healthy respect for people, their boundaries and their belongings and I would like to be treated in the same way. I enjoy a friendly chat over a nice cup of coffee, but there are times I keep to myself, especially if I've had a hard day at work. I am clean, tidy, can pick up after myself, responsible with the rent and bills being paid on time. I'm happy to do my fair share of cleaning when it comes to keeping the living quarters clean and I expect whoever I share with to do the same. Not a party animal, but I do like pets as long as they're properly controlled/behaved, by responsible owners. I'm also the type of person that would rather talk problems out rather than indulge in passive/aggressive behaviour, screaming matches, sulking or the silent treatment. Deal Maker or Breaker: I am a born again Christian but I am NOT a in your face Bible basher and I'm not a door mat. I also enjoy Christian Heavy Metal Music aka Stryper, POD etc If you like what you've seen so far, I would love to hear from you and see if we're a good fit. Cheers :)
Hi, i'm Christina, a friendly, bubbly student looking at saving a bit of money by moving in with housemates. I'm currently living in a unit without housemates and I would love to have people around the house to cook dinner with or watch game of thrones with. I love to cook, (i always end up accidentally making enough for 4), read, go camping and enjoy the occasional party, but you're much more likely to find me cocooned in blankets binging the latest Netflix release on a Saturday night. I'm a full-time uni student, studying at Swinburne, working two part time jobs at Officeworks and cotton on, so I'm not home very often, but when I am around I love a good chat. I have a big, very fluffy, very friendly dog, (malamute x husky), who loooves cuddles, and gets along with other dogs, but unfortunately not cats. I have some bits and pieces to put together a house (couches, kitchenware, bookshelves ect) but not enough to make up a whole house on my own (no fridge, dining table, washing machine ect), but I have a Netflix account I'm willing to share, so really, what else could you want? :p
I'm 19 years old, a student at ACU studying teaching and work at Officeworks part time with guaranteed hours. I'm looking to move out of home and become a bit more independent :)
**ONLY LOOKING TO TEAM UP** Hey I'm a bubbly, out going person and I like to spend time with friends, go out for dinners, movies and occasionally go out to bars and clubs, looking to get back into yoga so potentially need a yoga buddy :D. I'm very caring and respectful. *Currently looking for a female housemate to team up with and move to a 2 bedroom place, not looking to move into a already made share house*.. I do like my own space but it would also be good to even make new friends with who I'm living with. I have a cat who I would also be bringing with me!!
Hey all, I'm Gus, a 31yo Landscape Gardener working full time in the Dandenong Ranges. My work hours are 7.30-4, week days. I enjoy socialising, music, sport, watching a good documentary, music gigs, photography reading a book or getting outdoors for a hike/camping. I'm looking for somewhere from Boxhill to Belgrave that isn't too far from a train line. Hopefully closer to Belgrave. I look forward to hearing from you for a chat and see if we would be a good fit.
Hi I'm Jess, 29 and I work in Sales Admin in Bayswater. I love to hang out with my friends and catch up for a good laugh. I like my own space but love to have a chat/hang out too. I'm clean, friendly and respectful. Ready to move into a place asap. Ideally looking to live with housemates of similar age.
Hey All! I am a 21 year old qualified student of illustration and photography. I am generally a neat person but I keep my mess in the bedroom and will do my dishes when I get home from work. I do own a 7 month year old cat (Caleb) that is very affectionate and loving so he is a family friendly pet. My personally; I am bit of a tomboy and I am up for long chats and banter with people around me. I was brought up with respect for others and for the household you live in, I have a history of renting, and am looking to move out independatly, I also currently work in retail at Knox City.
Professional couple looking for somewhere to start our future. We can commit to a property for a minimum for 6 months. Were Easygoing friendly happy to socialise yet give own space. We don't hold parties, we don't have pets or children. A bit more about us Bianca is a Student Nurse, I'm a Fire protection engineer, we are both in stable employment, we're clean, we are down to earth, we like reading, movies, music and football. Were ideally looking for a down to earth couple or mature person to share a house with. We don't mind Animals, we actually love Animals, we both enjoy cooking, Andrew does a mean BBQ, and Bianca loves cooking anything, and does a decent lasagna and roast dinner. Anything else you'd like to know, please ask and we will gladly answer. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you
We're twins from the country looking to live in Melbourne for our university courses at Swinburne! I'm a second year student and Jac is in her first year. We love to read and (try to) cook up a storm - and chill out and watch Netflix with fabulous food. We like to keep to ourselves at times and respect others personal space - and we like to keep a fairly tidy home. In saying that however, we're more than happy to have a chat and relax with our future flatmates! Jac is a PT so if you're into fitness (aka being tormented) she'd be a great motivator. I'm unfortunately often subject to her machinations. We're not the partying type - and prefer the more quiet life to study and relax. We already have some furniture like a washing machine/fridge/microwave/kettle/toaster which we're happy to provide and share if teaming up. We're also both non-smokers. If you'd like to meet up for a coffee, throw us a text!
Hello my name is Matt and I'm 21 years old, a full time stock controller at Ozmosis in Eastland. I am very tidy, respectful, very hygienic and enjoyable. I don't cause trouble and enjoy to just come home from work and chill out. I work 5 days a week and am looking to save for our own house. I currently live in Millgrove in the Yarra Valley and it costs me far to much to travel to and from work everyday. Hi my name is Taylah, I'm nearly 21 at the end of the year! I'm a full time hair dresser currently completing my apprenticeship in Boronia. I'm a fun character but not an irresponsible one. I like to relax and wind down after a day at work. I am also wanting to save for our own house as I currently live in the Yarra Valley also and it's to far to travel to work everyday. I'm also very neat and organised (most of the time) and very respectful of others belongings. Preferably we would like a bungalow or granny flat for the privacy. Happy to live in someone house also though. Thanks for taking the time to read our bio.
Im a 45 year old from Darwin that likes to chill and have fun, I've only recently moved here. I'm looking for a large unfurnished space with an ensuite preferably but don't mind sharing a bathroom. A room about 4 x 3 m would be great but could be a big ask ... I like a good laugh with house mates but also respect their privacy , I generally like to chill or go camping ,fishing and dive in summer, I like to spending time with my friends (generally with wine ) Am happy to do something around the house, I'm very easy to live with, very clean and responsible with bills and house hold chores.
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Flatmate bio I'm Kaleb and i'm looking for a great housemate to live with from the end of the year. This is a really detailed bio you’ll appreciate it is necessary to find the right person to rent with and this gives you the complete run down on what i'm looking for, as well as everything you need to know to make an informed decision about wanting to live with me. I’m moving back to Melbourne after over ten years away and seven years working professionally abroad. Heading back down in December and looking to rent something from mid month and be settled in time for xmas and new year. Planning ahead I know, but you tend to do that once you hit thirty, which is another notch on my belt this year. I’ve grown up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and after spending virtually all of my adult life away, I’m keen to settle back there for at least my first year back and be close to family and just live simply for a while. I’ve spent my first year back in Aus living out bush in central Queensland and have come to appreciate the basic and simple pleasures that come with taking a breath of fresh air, away from the complexities of metropolis. I’m therefore inclined to live out Upper Ferntree Gully way, I’ve even found a few nice looking houses around Upwey. There’s two schools of thought here, either a nice house with a decent yard and outdoor bbq area etc in that area of suburbia, or something that extra 5-10 minutes out that’s surrounded in greenery on something resembling an acreage etc. Its a decision based around whats going to be avail at the time I’d imagine, together with the housemate that I move in with. Budget wise, I’m comfortable with something in the realms of around $400 a week plus bills, which split in two will work out to no more than around $250 a week each. This seems like a sensible figure to work with, given that properties in the area for that amount of weekly rent are more than comfortable and plenty spacious with a third bedroom that can be used as a guest room. Foxtel and internet come into the equation and I anticipate sharing all costs to that effect. About me, I’ve built my career for the past ten years and currently continue to work in business and legal strategy. I’m also starting back at Uni to finish and advance my law degree. I spend a lot of time on my Mac therefore, and enjoy working and studying with either Pandora (currently playlisting a Halsey, Vera Blue, Banks mix) or TripleJ on in the background (and/or on my headphones). Not one for living in silence, albeit not that much of rage head either. Ok, apart from the occasional stint of something dance or rock every now and then. Life's about balance after all and you do need to rage sometimes aye. To whatever constraints exist with neighbours etc, obviously. No objections on my end to a music festival or Saturday night out at a bar, or even a cheeky midweek pub meal with some live music that’s for sure. I love the live Aussie and underground music scene. I work out during the week, and will get some gym equipment sorted for the garage, just because its easier and more enjoyable to do it on your own terms. Plus the whole hype at the gym shits me enough to not be bothered to spend too much time in one. Eat healthy (a lot of fresh produce and clean proteins), drink honestly next to nothing, although always have a few beers, a bottle of champers and some decent wine in the fridge just for when that mood strikes once in a blue moon or family/friends come around for dinner. Generally keep the pantry free of crap, as I’m not that interested in eating any of it and it just gets snacked on when lying around unnecessarily. I've always had a jar of gummie bears in the kitchen though - great post workout snack! I do however smoke, which is completely at odds with the above I know. But need to have the odd vice here an there I guess; and I enjoy a coffee with my smoke in the mornings - outside of course. Don’t do smoking indoors. And yeah on that note, I love to drink good coffee. All in all, I’m a friendly, outgoing and personable guy. I’m well travelled and pretty laid back, but I do enjoy my privacy to a certain extent and am not interested in having a “high traffic” household to live in. I’ve grown up a hell of a lot in recent years and have come to appreciate that having a few close friends around far outweighs randoms coming in and out like a revolving door. Like I said, it’s all about balance. Looking for someone around my age, guy or girl doesn’t phase me too much, that’s not too dissimilar in values and current life phase/situation and can relate to my style of living in a general sense. Not interested in someone too much younger as a housemate, unless you’re seriously on the ball. I’ve raised a younger brother and have lived with various mates over the years, younger than me and I honestly can’t be bothered with the baggage that’s attached to it. Pretty much not interested in kids or pets or any of that. Unless you make a solid case on the pet front (i've had two dogs and a cat for the past 14 years and kind of happy takin time out from it), kids I don’t do at all. So I guess this can be summarised as being basically a mutual expectation of an easy going and problem free approach to daily life and a level and mature head on your shoulders, as you can obviously expect from me. I enjoy living in a clean house, and don’t do mess. Ideally the right housemate will be alright with creating the right synergies in everything ranging from mutual grocery shops to a certain extent, some meals, occasional nights in/tv/movies or whatever together. Just all the kind of basics that makes for a cohesive dynamic in living together. Ok, so I’ve written more than enough (it’s what I do professionally so it’s more a matter of someone actually bothering to read down to this point). If you have managed to get this far, you’re probably someone I’d consider living with. I would imagine signing a 6-12 month lease to begin, jointly in both our names. That therefore means it’s going to be necessary to spend some time between now and Dec getting to know each other and making sure we’re on the same page so as to be able to put up a united front for the real estate agent etc. Not interested in getting into anything that’s got the potential to result in a break lease. Suffice to say, I don’t intend to be out of pocket should this occur, and is a mutual courtesy we should both expect. As the right person will appreciate, some simple stability in life is all you need at times. I’m currently in that place and just want all things to be pretty straightforward. The right person will have their finances in order and have no issue paying bond, rent at least a month in advance, etc. (That's all part of the stability and having life reasonably sorted kind of thing i've been talking about). Not sure whether to expect any genuine responses to my laundry list (I reckon that the devil is in the detail as with anything in life though..) But if you’re on the same page and this makes enough sense to you to peak your interest, drop me a line or two and lets chat.
Hey I'm Maddi! (short for Maddison but that's what my parents called me when I was in trouble in highschool). I am a driven 20 year old who is wanting to save some money and house sharing looks like a great way to do it! I am currently the assistant manager of a Vodafone store - been working for the company for just over a year and a half now and I love it! (if you have any issues with your phone I can probably fix it :D) I'm very easy going and low maintenance.. and clean!! Some of my pass-times include gaming, reading, and drawing. I will probably spend a lot of my time in my room - I like to have me-time to recharge as I put a lot of energy into my job. I do have a cat, Dexter, who I would like to bring with me.. he's pretty awesome. I am vegetarian.. not the preaching kind haha! and not to worry, I don't get weird around people eating meat! Each to their own, I say :) Other than that, I'm chill as. So hit me up if you've got a room for me and my cat!! :)
I'm looking for a quiet housemate as I have a two year old. We are incredibly clean, respectful and have a houseful of furniture to help the house. I pay everything on time and organised. I'm currently studying and don't go out often. My daughter is friendly and probably grow fond of you
If you like a clean house, I'm your gal. If you need a good laugh, I can probably tick that box too.. I'm a laid back young 40yr old that is quite humble in nature & at present working very long hours. I tried this share thing a few months ago, only to find that the "head Tenant on the lease" is quite the bully, treats a share house if it were only his & quite threatening. Not the way I want to live! I'm looking to buy my own home in the next year and a half so going out on my own isn't ideal if I can find a different share house that feels like a home. Ideally, I'd prefer to share with just one person/ any home that is semi-detached or has a studio/ bungalow
Hey, I'm Steph. I'm looking for a friendly, easy-going and relaxed place to call home. I love to cook up a storm in the kitchen, and will be sure to keep your belly nourished. I'm all about creating a peaceful, cooperative and fun environment, passionate about looking after the planet and living mindfully. I'm currently studying International Development at ACU and working part time at a cafe.
