My name is Reona, I'm 19 years old and I moved to Sydney 5 months ago after traveling and working for my gap year. I’m half Korean and half Japanese but I was born in Hong Kong and I grew up in the Philippines - also an Aussie citizen (If you pick me I'll give you the whole story haha) I’ll be studying in Sydney Uni next semester so I've been working full time at least until the term starts ☺️ Super keen on meeting new people and having a great time plus I reckon I'll get along well with all types of people (I can clean and cook as well...noshame) I play soccer and basketball and love anything thats outdoors (hiking, skydiving, swimming, you name it) I'm also a sucker for good movies and dogs are my absolute kryptonite - again, no shame Cheers if you ended up reading this entire thing
I am from an European and Australian background and lived in various countries. Enjoying what each culture has to offer and experiencing travelling with the locals. Love my teaching work, involved in peace development projects, rather Green... I am enthusiastic and fun to share with. Social but independent at the same time. I am very tidy and making sure house is neat. Enjoy spending time outdoors and looking after a garden. Looking forward to meet new people with common interests.
My name is Jane, I am 22 years old living south of Wollongong but work in Sydney city for the cruise lines for the past 3 years. I am wanting to move to Sydney asap so I no longer have to travel. I am quiet and keep to myself most of the time but I am also very social and like to have a chat, and love meeting new people.
We are a couple from from England, on a working-holiday visa for the year. We are clean and tidy, work Monday-Friday but enjoy a drink or two over the weekend. Love watching movies but also trips to the beach, BBQs, chilling in the sun with friends and the occasional festival! Looking to make some new friends and have a good time :) Will is currently working away Monday-Friday in Hunter Valley until March/April so he will only be around at the weekends
Hi, my name is Simon. Im an easy going outdoors kinda guy. I grew up on the beach in Newcastle so I don't mind going for a surf when there is a wave. I do a bit of snowboarding through the winter when i can get down there. I prefer the pub over a club and im a pretty big fan of mid week schnitzel nights. Im a maintenance supervisor for Downer EDI on the Roads and Maritime North East Sydney contract. I have been in Sydney for the last 2 years and I love the place. I keep quite active but i am rocking a bit of a dad bod but its in fashion atm so thats ok. I enjoy photography so i am always on the bike riding around the city finding interesting places to photograph. I also have a Netflix account so i enjoy having a tv binge every now and then. I do respect peoples privacy and enjoy some downtime to myself to wind down. Im hoping to find a great place to call home and not just rent a room from strangers. I have my own bed and minimal stuff to move so ideally i would like to fit into an existing home with some awesome people.
We're moving from Denmark to Sydney for three months, because I have to work on some projects for my Copenhagen-based employer. My boyfriend thinks it is a great opportunity to finally get a bit of sun ( very difficult to find in this cold Nordic country 🙃) so he is joining me, but he'll be working full-time too during our stay. I'm an urban designer, working mainly with community engagement, and he is a philosopher, working with communication. We're both friendly and easy-going ( if we may say so about ourselves) and are very interested in meeting locals, exploring the city and learn about socio-political climate of australia. oh! And explring all the cozy cafes and restaurants! that's important! We spend a lot of time devouring books, magazines and newspapers and love to discuss what we read with anyone who is interested. We love to share a glass of good gin and tonics or wine over a good conversation, and we're looking forward to explore that beautiful Australian nature everyone's talking about.
