Hey, I am a Physiotherapy student at La Trobe University and just want to find a good place to stay (preferably with a flatmate or two Max) and meet up with nice people. I’m easygoing, respectful of everyone’s space, their property and I'm clean. I'm a pretty positive person and I can speak French also. Anyway hit me up if you are looking for a flatmate or would consider teaming up! Cheers
First things first: I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from my second cancer removal surgery, scheduled sometime between Feb-April 2018. I keep to myself, friendly and quiet. I clean up after myself and can cook. I work full time, been at my place of work for over 7 years. 40 years old, recently divorced. I host my own radio show on community radio, Apple 98.5 FM, located in Bacchus Marsh. Back in February 2017 I had major surgery to remove cancer from my body, with a temporary stoma put in while my rectal area repairs itself. In May I began aggressive chemo treatment for the second time, which completed in late September. On Jan 23 2018, it was discovered that cancer has unfortunately returned to my body. Tests will commence ASAP with surgery and more chemo to most likely follow. The person(s) accepting me into their home (if that is the case) will need to be aware of my health issues and be understanding and ok with it. I am also a high functioning autistic, better known as Asperger's. Doesn't really mean anything, doesn't affect anything in any way, just best that I mention it. I'm currently living at both my father's house in the eastern suburbs, and a share house in Darley (Bacchus Marsh). A transition period, where my father wants me closer to him while I go through the things I'm going through at the moment. However eventually I need to make a decision on where exactly I want to be living. I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from my 2018 surgery, which will be anywhere from Feb-April.
Hello ! I am a 28 year old with a French passport but bred in Barcelona. I have been travelling for 6 months before touching ground in Melbourne, where I plan to stay long term. Before that, I have lived for 2 years in London (working in the financial sector) where I have shared 3 apartments in total and looking to do the same here ! I am easy going and love flats with social settings - I am more looking for a nice family-like atmosphere than just a place to sleep ! I will be working part time and dedicating the rest of my time to a side project of my own. Please do get in touch if I sound like a good match and looking forward to meeting you ! Lambert
I’m looking for a place to stay ASAP and long term and a private room, not one that involves sharing with others. Ensuite would be nice but not a deal breaker. $220 inclusive of bills would be magnificent if anyone can do this. I do have a bed which was especially made for my back so I would need a place where I can use my bed and not have a furnished room. So if anyone has a reasonably sized room or if you have storage to put other stuff in there, I’d love to hear from you ASAP. About me:- I’m a very active person who is always on the go. I keep to myself most of the time due to my heavy schedule but also like to socialise with the people I’m residing with whether it be a coffee or dinner of an evening. I love animals and love reading and love my sports I’m associated with. I clean up after myself and always happy to help out around the house with cleaning and making tea/dinner a couple times a week if anyone is interested. I’m very social but also know that everyone also likes their own space. I love animals , so if you have any cats or dogs that reside in the property, they will more than likely be spoilt and loved also, so that will never be a problem with me. In my spare time I’m a movie buff, so Netflix or Foxtel or even playing the PS4 or Xbox also interests me ;). Even though I’m 44, I’m very young at heart nor feel my age (hahahaha) All I ask is to whom ever I have messaged just please have the decency and politeness in getting back to me with regards to my contact message whether I am or not suited for your property. And if anyone is to message me please send me the ppty they are responding to me about so that way, I’m on the same page as you are at the time of the contact. Many thanks in advance :).
Hi! I’m looking for share accomodation with 1 other house mate, although will move in with 2 if the feelings right. Want to live with working busy person ideally in their 30s 40s. Im 38 myself but have a youthfulness which leads people to believe Im around 32 😄 I currently work for Toll managing accounts. Before that I was in realestate sales, and before that completed a degree in biomedical science. I will careers to a more medical orientated career mid year. Im pretty relaxed and chill and spend my spare time watching stand up comedy, prison reality shows on netflix, documentaries about conspiracy theories, playing guitar, training my singing voice and learning/writing new songs (sing in 2 bands), and catching up with mates and family. Most importantly Im respectful of peoples space and will always do my bit to keep things tidy. Very considerate of peoples private space. Looking for similar house in this regard. Want to move in straight away so lets fnd each other and start splitting the costs of life. Pat
I'm friendly, easy going, respectful and clean. I enjoy spending time with friends. I'm a Christian, love cats, the outdoors, going to gigs, coffee and arty movies. I'm a trained nurse, but not currently working. I would love to live in a share house with others close to my age, or I'm cool if you are a bit older too:)
Hey guys am Alvi an international student currently doing my bachelor of civil engineering and working in an iGA in thomastown and in Abbotsford. Am a very clean and tidy person originally from Mauritius. I've been living in Melbourne for 2 years now. I'm Brett, I work with behaviours of concern, autism and people with disabilities full time. I'm about to return to Uni a few days per week to pursue a career in nursing with the aim of potentially working in mental health. I like sport, Labradors, fashion, community radio, walking, house plants, and reading fiction. I like to keep a clean house, don't drink much alcohol (i'll never bring an unwanted party home) pay bills on time and enjoy spending time with those with a good sense of humour.
Hi, I'm Nick. :) I'm a full time worker for a financial services company. I'm moving into the city to shorten my commute but also trying to save for holidays/to live life so wanting to find a room for around $150-$200/week. I'm often away every other weekend and a night or two during the week. Like to relax after work and enjoy a laugh and chat over a beer but also happy with my own company. I've lived in share houses with both friends and people from this website in the past; definitely share house trained and I very much respect other people's space, cleanliness of the place and sharing cooked time etc - all the usual flash points. I love music, reading, getting out hiking and diving. I generally cook every night and happy to cater for the whole house fairly often - I cooked for 5 people for a couple of years when sharing with friends so I've had the training ;) I am a smoker, however a very respectable one; I'll walk away from the house to smoke and hate bringing the smell in with me. Hopefully that's helpful and not too much waffle - hit me up if you have a room or a place in mind and you need another person on board. Nick
Hi, I'm Ellie! I'll be moving to Melbourne from Canberra for a full time job in the city, and am looking to live in a sharehouse in the surrounding suburbs. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, catching up with friends for brunch, writing and getting out and exploring nature! I'm looking to stay from a minimum of 6 months to potentially a year or more :)
Hello! My name is Cassie, I am a 25 year old non smoker who has just made the move from Central Queensland to Melbourne. I previously worked as a paralegal within a general law firm for six years. I am looking for a career change here in Melbourne. I love meeting new people of all walks of life and love a good chat but also respect and appreciate downtime. My interests/hobbies include travel, outdoor exercise, photography, reading and baking.
Hi I'm Sophie! I am 17 years old (nearly 18) and am clean, reliable, friendly and would love to socialise with the people I live with. I am originally from New Zealand and am moving to Melbourne to start my first year at RMIT in February to study a Bachelor of Fashion (Design). Ideally I am looking for a long term place to live with other uni students and wouldn't mind teaming up! Feel free to message me :)
My name is Kris. I'm 35 years old and currently working full-time in hospitality. I'm lucky enough to work week days and not too crazy hours (starting at 7am can be a bit rough sometimes!). I don't smoke and drink occasionally on the weekends, although I'm not bothered by people who do smoke. I'm a qualified counsellor and will be looking for work in that arena, but obviously only if it can pay the bills! I love martial arts, nerdy games, good TV and film (and a bit of trash too) and Italian cooking. Currently I'm looking for a place to live for the foreseeable future.
I really open minded person and I hope my flatmates do the same. I like music , so in my free time sometimes I sing. I can play some instrument. I like to cook, I can cook food or dessert for my flatmates and maybe we can sharing the new recipes. I like to learn new things and new culture.
Hello! My name is Craig. I'm 32 and moving over to Melbourne from Perth for university. I'm looking for one or more easy going and respectful housemates to live with. I'm a bit of an introvert but by no means unsociable - I like music and listen to it a fair bit, although I make sure not to impose on others. I'm very respectful of others' space and privacy and I've got a good history of share-housing with friends and siblings. If you're looking for somebody to share with and think you might be interested, by all means please get in touch! Cheers, Craig
Hey there, i am moving down from Sunny Brisbane for a bit of a sea change. I do disability support work, and study sign language. I am friendly and social, i love to cook (especially for others, not so much myself!) and i love a glass of wine, obviously! I’m also quite introverted, so happy as well spending time by myself reading; also i’m very tidy and respectful of communal cleaning as well as keeping personal spaces clean! I do have a cat, he is an old boy, a chocolate Burmese named Jordan. I was going to leave him with friends in Brisbane until i settle in somewhere, but i am hoping to find a nice pet friendly house, that doesn’t mind a quiet little old guy pottering around (he’s not so agile these days, but you can still have hours of entertainment paying him out for his old man grumpy cat face!) oh also im 27. I’m looking for a place from about mid march (although will be there from early march to inspect places).
I'm Yagesh from Singapore. Looking for a lovely place to stay as I commence my combined Bachelors and Masters in Physiotherapy this year. I'm easy to live with as I am matured, understanding and respectable to the environment I live in and to the people, I live with. Being my first time in Melbourne for studies, I expect myself to be busy with school work. I enjoy my sessions in the gym and try my best to partake in any sort of sport as it is my passion.
Hi there, I moved to Melbourne around three months ago from interstate. I've been travelling around from state to state looking for my place in the world over the last 8 months and believe I've found it right here in merry old Melbourne. I'm looking to meet cool new people and get to know Victoria better. I'm very much a newb when it comes to this awesome city and I am on a quest to find Melbourne's best pizza. Bit of a nerd when it comes to tech and the natural world. Some interests include gaming, books, movies and all sorts of music. I also write, have a history in animation and game design and even did a brief stint as a potter. I also like rock climbing quite a bit and as for camping, well, don't even get me started. I run my own digital marketing biz so a fast internet connection is a must and I work from wherever, which most days means at home. Oh, and my name, Jan, is German... I'm totally a dude.
