I am a yoga teacher and wellness specialist (working with PTSD/trauma/high-stress occupations) looking at making the move back to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast. I have a beautiful, 5y/o husky who loves people but as a rescue pup, doesn't do well with other dogs in the same space. She's fluffy, but I make sure I clean up after her. (Outside-only dog - I know people always say that, but this is actually very true). I also have a sweet, quite timid inside-only cat (so she's clean) who will probably hide a lot of the time until she gets to know people. I'm clean, super-respectful of space and boundaries, am not a partier but can enjoy a wine or two over good conversation. I'm friendly and love when I live with people I can get along with. I'm reliable with bills and a good communicator. Bonus: I also come with an espresso coffee machine! I also have white goods (can be stored elsewhere if necessary) and super comfy lounge suite (can confirm: best napping couch!) Since I own my own business, I will need space at least in the bedroom for my desk if not an extra area where possible. I'm generally pretty busy and focused on my work. When I'm not doing that, I'm out at yoga (doing or teaching), walking the dog, being active (just getting into indoor rock climbing), finding a park to chill out and read in, etc etc. My move date is just dependent on finding the right place. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Hey, I’m James. I’m 25 and my full-time job in marketing keeps me busy Monday to Friday. In my spare time I do normal things like keep active, watch Netflix or catch up with friends for dinner/drinks. I’m new to Brisbane, I recently moved back to QLD after five years in Melbourne and I’m from the Gold Coast originally. So I’m hoping to move in with friendly, social housemates as I don’t know many people here (yet!). I’m a naturally considerate, respectful and tidy person that’s used to living in share houses, looking for the same.
I am brazilian but I have been living here for more than 2 years. I spend a lot of time at the gym and work. I work with hospitallity and also at a cafe. I am tidy and clean but I´m not crazy for cleaning. I am pretty quiet most of the time but I also like to go out sometimes or bring some friends over.
I’m a neat, clean, calm, and tidy person who respects the privacy of others and always pay my bills instantly. I like to go out, watch a movie or just chill with friends. Also do I like to cook and do sports such as soccer, swimming, riding my bike and going to the gym.
Hello, I'm Kate, and I'm a purple haired, deaf, goth chick who is looking for friendly, open-minded people to share a house with. I sometimes work in the Valley and often socialise out on the weekends. When I'm home, I tend to keep to myself on my computer mostly. I clean up after myself, try to be considerate as possible and enjoy the occasional housemate hang outs. I figured I'd add just a few things I'm looking for, to give an idea of what I'm after: 🗺️ Location: Somewhere close to public transport as I do not drive. Ideally near routes that go to the city/valley as I often head into town. Currently based in Geebung, and looking at areas like Chermside, Kedron, Albion etc, along the Gympie Rd bus routes (340/333/330), but willing to consider other locations as long as I can get around easily enough and be independent travel-wise. 💲 Budget: Has to be share-housing that is reasonable and affordable for someone on Centrelink; as a deaf person, work is hard for me to come by; bar hours are highly unreliable and work is dry for me atm, so I would like to ensure I can afford my rent on Centrelink, whether I have the hours or not. I always pay my rent on time. Bills included preferred, but not necessary. All up rent + bills cannot be over $190 as I simply cannot afford that! 🐾 Pet-friendly preferred, so I can get myself either a cat or a small caged animal(s). 👥 People: I'd prefer open-minded, considerate, laid back, friendly people I can get along with. I'd like to be able to have friends over occasionally and host the occasional gathering, potentially. Open to sharing with smokers, as long as my area/clothes don't get stinky from it! ;) (Balcony/outdoor smokers preferred but it ain't a deal breaker for me) 🏡 House would be preferred but won't say no to reasonably sized townhouses/units,etc. Storage also preffered. 🛌 Room to be big enough for my queen sized bed, bedside tables, my computer desk and furniture to put clothes in/or have built ins. I'd also like some storage space to put a few boxes in. 🛋️ I have my own furniture for my bedroom; and also a couch, armchairs, coffee table, microwave and washing machine that I would be willing to share and furnish a share-house with. 🌏 Unlimited internet connection preferred, as I occasionally game and spend a lot of time on Netflix! 🏁 Ideally looking for somewhere to start a long term lease and stay put for the next two years at least, unless circumstances change it otherwise. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!
Hi! I am easy going, tidy, friendly, independent but I also enjoy spending time with the people I live with. I take great care of the place I live in and like to call it a "proper home". I am fair and respectful, and fun to be around. Anyone with a sense of humour will make my day. I work as a graphic designer and illustrator.
I'm often working long hours, but when I'm not I usually keep to myself, usually reading books or playing videogames. Won't say no to hanging out, though. I can tidy up after myself and do my part in keeping communal areas clean, plus I like to cook. I'm sure I must be at least tolerable to live with because as of writing this, I have never been kicked out of a flat. Anywhere within walking distance of a train station is ideal.
Need off-street parking. Not looking a party house, I like my own space, but like to have a chat, a social drink when others available. Looking for a clean, quiet house. Maximum of 3 people or less including me would be ideal. I’m a shift worker, working night shifts in the Brisbane airport, so, sleeps during daytime after work. A house within 30 min from the airport. Happy to pay up to $240 for a good accommodation. Would consider all the options. Sorry... I'm Not a Pet person (cats or dogs). Thanks.
35 years young. Awesome sense of humour! Love horror movies, keeping active and having a good laugh 😊 I will admit I do swear a bit..thought I'd add that in so I don't offend anyone! Love the footy and UFC 😊I'm not the best at cooking but happy to learn and become the next Gordon Ramsay! I love watching sport and love the footy and the cricket! My partner lives in Rockhampton atm and he usually comes to visit every second weekend as it's the only time we see eachother, so he would need to stay every second Friday and Saturday night but we are rarely home during that time and would stay out of your way 😊 What else? I work in health admin full time and I have recently got back into running. I also love animals so no probs if u already have any at ur place 😊
Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a 23 year old professional. I work full time in the CBD and also study part time, meaning I am generally a pretty busy person and keep mostly to myself! If I'm not working or studying then I'm more than likely cooking (Italian mum & Chinese dad so it's a given), or outdoors on a mini weekend adventure. I also have a degree in Graphic Design so that can keep me glued to my computer on side projects. I'm not much of a party person (out grew that long ago), however I am pretty social during the week with work/friend dinners etc so I come and go.
Relocating to Brisbane from Townsville for a new job. Easy going, clean, can cook, social. Like to get out on my days off and have quiet nights at home during the week. Looking to live with similar people to potentially make new friends along the way. I'm not too fussed on which suburb I live, I travel to different sites around Brisbane for work.
Hi, I'm Rachel. I work permanent part time (full time hours most weeks) I work for Virgin Australia, ground crew. Currently residing and working in Melbourne but have just transferred to Brisbane Airport (same company) with a start date of 07/OCT at Brisbane Airport. I'm am very neat and tidy. Also I don't go out much ie clubbing but I do hangout with friends. I meal prep most weeks if I don’t give in and buy Youfoodz or Uber so I'll only be the annoying kitchen hog once or twice a week :) I am very active and love being outside. However I also love a good nap and tv binge. Give me a cheese platter any day of the week 😋 I love animals! I do work on a 4/2 roster. Meaning 4 days on then 2 off rotating. So I won’t be home most weekends. I'm looking to move up in the 5th of October. As I am driving up on the 3rd and 4th of October. LGBT friendly 🏳️🌈 Chill and laid back
I'm a 29 year-old journalist and producer who is also in my final-year of studies at UQ. Looking for like-minded young people to share a place with that are respectful and clean, are non-smokers, up for weekend adventures and who enjoys a healthy lifestyle. In my downtime I'm a professional dancer, an enthusiast for CrossFit, avid reader and someone who leads an active lifestyle that includes running and rugby. If you think we'd get along, not just as housemates but also potential friends, swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
PLEASE NOTE: I’m currently away on rural placement and will be moving to Brisbane in November. I'm happy to find a place during October and slowly move in but you won't see much of me until late November as I'll be back and forth! I'm a post-grad medical student/part time employee looking for accommodation for at least 6 months before starting my final year of uni. I’ll be on placements around Brisbane for the first 6 months of the year then commuting to the Gold Coast on weekdays for the next 3 months, but planning to live and work in Brisbane long term. I'm a bit of a clean freak and reliable. I like to keep fit in my spare time (gym/running/yoga/hiking) and dabble in some photography and culinary adventures (will probably make you food if you let me!). Would love to share my interests with you if you're keen on a mid-week yoga session or the odd weekend day trip. Otherwise I tend to keep myself pretty busy so can keep to myself quite easily if that suits you better. Would prefer to share with like minded students or professionals. Some form of on or off street parking would be ideal as would my own bathroom, but happy to share the latter with 1-2 others if need be. I have my own bedroom furniture which I prefer to use, but can store this if I find the right place. I also have some small kitchen appliances which I am happy to share. Would definitely be interested in finding a place with someone if that works out best. If you have something which might work feel free to give me a buzz!
Hi, I'm working as an airline pilot and recently moved to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast. I’m looking for temporary furnished accomodation until the end of October. I'm clean, considerate, easy going and respectful to you, your property and your privacy. Am easy to talk to and enjoy good conversation when it's welcome. I enjoy cooking but tend to eat out quite a bit. I like a clean house and will do my bit to keep it that way. I’m flexible with most things. Would be great to find a place with covered parking, with only one other tenant, and that’s a cat-free zone🤧. Outside of work I enjoy being on or near the water so jet-skiing is my go-to when weather and time allows, along with travel and most things outdoors.
Retail Manager at Brisbane DFO near the airport. Hoping for somewhere close by to there :) I'm a super chilled out girl that works a fair bit, I pay my bills on time and am super clean. I don't mind socialising but i do keep to myself as well but always up for a chat. Not a partier and enjoy my quiet time. I work every second weekend too.
I work night shift, so I pretty much keep to myself during the day. I have my 1 year old dog with me who is house/toilet trained, who is mostly an inside dog. Very respectful of others belongings and personal space.
Hi, I'm Gemma! I'm a 23 year old working a casual job and doing singing lessons and occasional freelance makeup work in my spare time. I'm pretty chilled, very tidy (I have horrible allergies so I have to keep stuff clean!) and get along well with most people c: My current lease ends on the 15th of October, so I don't want to move until a week before that date at the earliest (the 8th). I'd love to have a room with no curtains (blinds are my dream tbh) and unfortunately I'm allergic to cats (even though I love them) so no pets is a priority!
