Hi there, I'm moving down from Melbourne later this year for full time APS role and looking for a room in the civic. I'm an outdoor-sy type of person. I love playing and watching all sports. In particular I like playing basketball and indoor soccer. I enjoy a good tough hike. I like to eat good food and keep healthy, but I'm not super strict with my diet and enjoy eating out and trying new foods. I like a social drink on weekends, especially in summer. As a housemate/person I'm a very laid back guy and not too fussed about anything. I'm very easy to get a long with and you can expect me to be very very clean and respectful of privacy.
Canberran born and bred. Have been living overseas for the past 2.5 years and just returned. Full time nurse and part time yoga teacher. I'll give you free health advice and stretches. On weekends I'm usually away or hurtling around Canberra.
Mid-twenties full time public servant, looking for long term accommodation. I am clean and not always home due to work or sport. Would like to ideally find one housemate (or two maximum), who do not smoke, or have pets (except for dogs) and who value keeping the communal areas (the Kitchen) clean after each use. Looking for an en suite scenario, good internet, secure car spot…happy to spend a bit more if necessary on amenities. I am Australian-French, enjoy food and would like to find a place near the city or towards Barton for work. My current lease ends on the 11th of November. Happy to move in around mid-October. I am flexible but keen to find a good match, but if this sounds like a good fit for you please let me know. Thank you
My name is Caila, and both myself and my current roommate Zoia are very interested in both rooms up for grabs :) A little about us. I am 26 years old, and a dietitian at The Canberra Hospital, currently working in oncology. I am also, a fellow vegetarian. Zoia is 24 years old, a master's student studying primitology at ANU, and has an undergraduate in Zoology. Safe to say, we are both massive animal lovers, both love runs around the lake, appreciate a good beer after work every now and then. We often cook up magnificent meals together and genuinely love each others company and meeting new interesting people.
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD until February, so he would come to stay occasionally. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I'm looking for somewhere furnished with a bed. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. Let's chat!
Quiet and independent 29 year old male. Former primary school teacher, and now working in the higher education sector. Moving from Wollongong to start a new job at ANU :) Pretty laid back, but am clean and tidy. Not too big on parties, but always happy for the odd get together.
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
I'm a laid back guy, happy to add to a warm and friendly atmosphere or content to be self contained. I'm responsible and make sure to clean up after myself and chip in with more communal chores. I've just recently moved up to Canberra from Melbourne, so I'm still exploring the area. I'm into sports, with the AFL season ending I'll be moving onto NFL. I'm a massive nerd and enjoy playing board games and video games. Hope to hear from you soon. Dean
In 2018, I will be a third year uni student studying Law/Econ, while working part time. Very clean, easy to get along with, and I don't host loud parties very often. Independent and will largely keep to myself during the semester, but I'm also quite sociable and fun to hang out with. I am also a non-smoker, with a steady income.
Hi I'm Shaun, an anthropology PhD student at ANU. I've just recently returned from 2 years fieldwork overseas. I'm looking for a share house within cycling distance of my office at ANU. I treat my PhD like a full time job, 9-5 mon-fri. In the afternoons I like going to the gym , on weekends I usually travel up to Sydney. In my spare time I like to ride my bike, cook, and go to the gym. I've lived in share houses in Canberra before, I'm happy to contribute to cleaning duties, cooking communal meals, making you cups of tea or pouring you a beer/wine. I'm able to move in immediately I'd love to see your place and get to know you, I look forward to hearing from you!
I'm super clean, quiet, friendly and considerate of others. I'm moving down from sunny Brisbane in Queensland to set up life in Canberra. I will be working 2 part-time jobs and studying nutrition and sports science at the University of Canberra. My favourite things in accommodation is air and light and in my flatmates I REALLY appreciate cleanliness and kindness. I'm pretty outdoorsy and live and eat relatively healthy.
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. I'll be finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle at the end of this year, then travelling for a few months and moving down in January. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, chill etc.
