Back in Canberra after a while away. Looking for a place asap. I'm a sparky for a NSW government utility. Enjoy going out for a couple of drinks every now and then, but also like a bit of peace and quiet and a cheeky Netflix binge. I'm tidy, respectful of others and easy to get along with, and half decent in the kitchen too.
I’m clean and neat but chill. I’m easy to get along with, enjoy having a chat with my flatmates but also time to myself. I’m a part time student & I work. I also do some volunteer work and play sport.
I’m a 4th year ANU student. I’m friendly, considerate and clean. Chats over tea or dinner is always welcome but I also respect roommate boundaries. I try to keep myself busy and am out during the day but I love off days to cook and watch a tv show or three. I’m (trying) to maintain a healthy lifestyle - sleeping early rising early, yoga, gym etc. I’m from Sydney, so I go back every few weeks during the weekend. Also I travel a bit, so sometimes during the semester break there may be a few weeks when I’m not around.
Easy going, I like to keep things tidy but nothing crazy. Looking for chill, like minded people. I am always down for making new friends and hanging out but also love my own space and will respect yours!
I work as a designer for the APS. I'm easy going and friendly, like to have a chat and socialise with my roommates but I also enjoy my quiet time and I respect people's privacy and space. Im currently looking to move to a new place as the apartment I’m living in will be sold in the coming months. My hobbies include photography, sketching, painting and hand lettering. During the week I'm busy with work and study and during weekends I enjoy going out and exploring new places in Canberra.
I’m a 23yo who has recently moved from Perth and am working full time at the UNSW ADFA campus and studying part-time online. I prefer my space at times, especially when I have to bunker-down for assessment season, but I value a good D&M and meeting new people. I love all things sport and am an avid touch rugby and bouldering fanatic, I appreciate a good wine every once in a while (almost as much as I love a terrible pun and top notch level 10 meme), and will go out of my way to pat a dog I see out in public. I naturally keep things tidy and always put things back where they belong as I love to keep my environment looking aesthetically pleasing and neat.
Hey I'm Conrad. I'm friendly and always good for a laugh. I like most sports and art. I'm doing my masters at ANU in middle eastern studies. I'm responsible and good at cleaning up after myself. I'm pretty tidy. I'm looking for a good group of friendly chilled out people to move in with.
We are a friendly, mature and clean couple. We are both in the health industry. We are looking to move in on the 1st August, 2018. We are flexible and fun, but are quiet and respect privacy. We are looking for like minded people to share with.
am a first year master student in Finance at ANU (in my late 20's). Prior to moving to Canberra, I have worked as a Senior Analyst in a Swiss investment bank and Singapore's Sovereign Wealth Fund in the last 6 years. I am tidy and respectful for personal space of my flatmates, but I also enjoy getting to know them through social outings; I like to share conversations on traveling, sports or philosophy over a meal and a beer with my flatmates every now and then, or to have a board game night around Saboteur and Settlers of Catan. Also, I have never been late on rental and bill payments. During my free time, I like to play tennis, go for a run, and grab a beer with friends. Once a while, I go on a hiking/mountaineering trip and camp overnight in the mountains to take professional pictures of the Milky Way at night. The highest peak I have climbed so far stands 17000ft (5400 m) tall. Some fun fact about me: I was once on a photography assignment at the Mercure Resort in the Maldives. A 2-meter-long spinner shark punched me in the chest as soon as I entered the water to film their feeding activity, and that punch was a heavy one! Other than Australia, I have lived in New York and Singapore (I am a Australian permanent resident). I enjoy getting to know people and hear their stories. It would be awesome to a chat during a visit and see whether we are a potential match. I am looking for a shared apartment/house within bike distance to ANU. My move-in date is flexible. Regards, Jim
Hi everyone! Myself and my super friendly cat are moving up to Canberra on the 30th of July to start an exciting new job, and are looking for somewhere to live! I'm very quiet, clean and respectful, but also down for dinner and a drink. I spend my weekends either going out on adventures and doing photography, working on my own jewellery pieces or just relaxing with snacks and movies.
Hi I'm Charmaine, 25 year old female, relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for work. I'm friendly, neat and tidy. Love being social but wouldn't invade your personal space. Happy to share a meal/drink or two and would love to be shown around Canberra as I'm quite new :)
Hi everyone, I'm Tom, I work in the APS in IT in Greenway and have been in Canberra for 8 months. My current housemate wants to move out in the next month and I'd prefer to find a new place rather than try and find a new housemate - as such I'd be looking to move around the end of July/Start of August. I'm a very considerate housemate and will try and fit in with an existing household, I like to keep things clean but I'm not crazy with it. I'd prefer to live with people around my age to have a bit of a homely vibe where we can hang out. I like singing, lifting, photography, discussions and while I don't drink much anymore am still partial to a few beers every now and then. Would prefer something close to amenities. Secure parking is preferred and off-street parking required (I'm 25 and just bought a brand new car and insurance otherwise is super expensive :'( ) If you have/know of something that might be suitable, message me. Cheers, Tom.
I am a female student from Denmark. During my stay in Canberra I will be studying at ANU as a Master student in Chemistry. My semester begins mid-July and ends mid-November, why I am looking for a room for four months In Denmark I am used to live in a dorm with 19 other students, hence I know how to share living room, kitchen and bathroom with other people, how to clean the house and make it a nice place to stay. In my sparetime I like to do different kinds of sports such as running, spinning, swimming, skiing and dancing. Besides that I am a very chill person who also enjoys a cold beer or a glass of wine, reading books, going to koncerts and out to bars, cooking and watching a movie. I am looking for a furnished room since I will not bring any furnitures with me from Denmark.
I'm 22, doing Masters at ANU, just moved here from Adelaide. I am clean, tidy, quiet and easy going. Looking for somewhere ASAP. In my free time I enjoy reading, keeping fit, cooking, watching TV, eating out and going on trips. I am well traveled and have lived independently in share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out.
I'm a Masters student and research assistant at the University of Canberra researching the conservation of small-bodied freshwater fish. Although I'm neat and tidy, I'm also very relaxed and easy going. I'm handy around the house and am always up for a chat even though I usually keep to myself.
I'm an international student from China. This is my first year studying at ANU as a postgraduate student. I prefer a quiet and beautiful place to live so that I could focus on my study. And also, I hope there is a desk in my bedroom cuz I speed most of my time coding and learning. I am very tide and respectful.
I'm a (pre-) grad student from the U.S. who will be studying at the ANU for three months this fall. I love coffee shops, Netflix, eating, laughing, reading, exploring and the occasional night out! I tend to keep to myself for the most part, but I also enjoy hanging out with like-minded people and having great conversation.

Hello! I am an American, specifically from sunny California, visiting on a work/holiday visa. Over the past ten years I have always had a flat mate to live with, I find it easier and less lonely. I’ve lived in communal environments as well as private ones. I am very clean, organized, and personable. I don’t mind communal food, I don’t mind sharing, I also don’t mind personal items kept labeled and separate. I don’t do drugs, I don’t really drink, and if I do drink, I may enjoy a smoke but it’s not a normal habit. I am looking to find full time employment, or at least interviews set up before I arrive. I work with children, the elderly, and disabled, I’m looking to caregive. I will settle for any full time work I can find, I’m not picky and I’m hard working. For fun, I love being outdoors, crafting, listening to music, exploring, eating new foods, baking, and cleaning haha it’s theriputic. I don’t expect my flat mate to be as tidy as myself, but respecful of common areas, such as bathrooms. I don’t party, but I can sleep through anything. I don’t mind living with students in their early 20’s as long as WE BOTH prove good rental history. Any references you may need about me can be provided promptly.
Hi, I am moving from Switzerland to down under to start a post doc position working on solar cells at ANU. I love to travel and to meet new people to widen my horizon. I respect privacy in a flat when needed but I am also open to cook and enjoy life together.
