Hi I am a young at heart 60 year old QA Manager with a local food manufacturer. Originally from England, I have lived the last 5 years in Melbourne, after spending 20 yrs in NZ. I am house trained, can even cook. I relate to all ages, my current best friend in Aus is only 31, whom my wife & I just recently went to Bali with him & his partner. I have plenty of life experiences having travelled much of the world. I enjoy most sport, quiz shows, British TV dramas, reading , music , a few beers with friends at the weekend. I am looking for a room as I have just gone through an amicable separation from my partner, we have decided she should stay at our current house & I would move out.
Hello! I'm an Animal Studies graduate who's planning to do a certificate in Companion Animal Services next year. I have two rats, Mono and Paprika. They're old, beautiful and sleepy. If you have an animal, or more than one, I could take care of them while you're away. I'm hoping to find a housemate who's able to do the same for me. The rats are caged and easy to care for. I set up automatic payments so my rent goes through effortlessly. I'm happy to help around the house as I'm generally clean, tidy and organised. It may be obvious, but I want to live with more animals. I like open communication, dumpster diving, recycling and relaxing. It would be cool if you do too. Please message me if you think you might have a suitable place!
Hey there! I'm Abbey and I'm from New South Wales' South Coast. I am looking to start my undergrad study (BSc) at the University of Melbourne in 2019. I'm looking for a place where I can stay at least for the first year of my studies, with some flatmates who are just as friendly and easy going as I am. I am highly organised and always willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed. I love music, nature and art, and am particularly passionate about wildlife (so I would be over the moon if you have any pets!). If I sound like someone who'd work well with you and your flatmates, please get in touch :) Cheers!
We are kind and fun loving people. We have just moved to Melbourne from the UK and are looking for a home that will feel like home. I'm starting Environmental Geography at uni in march. We love travelling and have been to some pretty cool places. Love the outdoors, free camping, hitch hiking and making cool friends. Also love a drink and definitely a boogie. We really love musicWe are super respectful and tidy, and will cook you dinner now and again!
Hey! I'm Edwina and I'm looking to join a stable, happy sharehouse in West Melbourne. I've relocated to undertake further university studies commencing Feb however I'm aiming to be settled around late December/early Jan. In my spare time, I love to cook dishes from all over the world, read novels, paint, sew or take on small DIY projects (slight addiction to Bunnings). I've been loving Melbourne's jazz scene too! I love experiencing nature and often venture to wilderness areas for weekend hikes. I'm a homebody, so I like to keep shared spaces clean, organised and peaceful. I'd love to contribute to a house of independent, thriving people. I am Pescatarian, so I wouldn't be suitable for a strictly vegetarian/vegan household. Non-smoker, drink only occasionally.
I'm a 25-year-old lawyer originally from Hobart. I moved to Melbourne in October so I'm still fairly fresh off the boat. I'm very into dogs, breakfast, coffee, Netflix, reading and whiskey. I also enjoy pottering in the garden and attempting to grow plants (sadly with varying degrees of success). Much to my dismay, work requires me to wake up early, so I'd like to live with people who keep similar hours through the week. I'm not too obsessive but I like a clean house and do my share.
Hi! I'm a full time student at the University of Melbourne, just looking for a bed close to uni. I enjoy playing sports - mainly netball and running. I'm looking for someone who is also easy going and happy to share housework.
27 Y full time professional - originally from Italy but moved here 6 years ago, I absolutely love Melbourne and can’t get enough of it. Looking for a place long-term as I have also recently applied for citizenship. Been working as an operations manager within the travel industry for a number of years, I have recently joined a startup in the city as I wanted to start building something that feels a bit more mine. My week is generally fairly busy and work hours are generally 10-6 Tue/Sat. I also try my best to keep my creative flair going and do some photography gigs from time to time . I hit the gym regularly and try to keep up with whichever events are happening within Melbourne. I am very easy to live with, and considerate, having lived with so many different people over all those years from early age. Plus, I can cook some serious pasta. I would be up for a glass of vino/brunch/Netflix here now and then. I am a very relaxed person overall who enjoys the simple things in life. :-)
I'm a full-time teacher which keeps me busy during the day, exhausted at the end of a day and in need of glass of wine or beer at the end of a long week. I'm well house trained, don't smoke and love to cook for others. I won't hog the TV as I'd rather outside be in the running in the sunshine. Looking for something with a nice atmosphere of people, lots of natural light, good heating for winter, a room big enough for my extensive wardrobe and I plan on staying about a year.
I am very laid back and friendly. I like to keep my house clean and am considerate of people's space. Don't mind socializing and sharing a meal every now and then though with some Ntflix-ing. I like to cook but not so enthusiastic about it so order food every now and then. Work fulltime at Target HQ. Will be paying rent on time. I have a good bunch of friends so most of the weekend I'll be out and about. I like to go the gym 3-4 times a week after work. Williamstown area is where I'd prefer to live as it is closer to my work. Happy to team up as well. Ideally would like to move in by end of December. I like pets and would love to have a dog of my own too in the future. Sadly wherever I've lived before wasn't pet friendly. Planning to stay in my next place for at least 6 months or more. Happy to provide references :)
I study philosophy (deferred until next year) and I work in hotel admin on evenings Thurs-Sunday. I also have a couple business side projects going along. Looking for a place to live close to where I work in Carlton. I've lived in Melbourne all my life.
I am a super attentive and considerate person. I like things kept nice and tidy and love a balance between quiet nights in during the week and heading out with friends on the weekend. I am a single gay male who would ideally be looking to share with other gays or anyone who is genuine and down to earth really. I’m very social but also love down/alone time.
Hey, my name is Ajay (30, born & raised in Melbourne). Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Can also provide references from from previous landlords if required. Thanks, Ajay.
Hi! I'm a fresh uni graduate from Perth who's taken a dive into the deep end by accepting a job here in Melbourne! My field is Chemical Engineering and I'll be commencing that 9-5 grind at the start of January. My stay is only short term (about 9 months) before the company moves me onto the next phase of my program. I enjoy socialising and making new friends, as well as travelling and keeping active! I'm a massive sports fanatic with AFL, UFC and F1 being my favourite sports to watch. I also enjoy placing social sports such as netball and am looking to continue my passion for football by finding a local club to play for when I relocate. I'm a tidy person who enjoys spending time with housemates, yet values a little bit of 'me time' every now and again :))
JAN 20th - TEAM UP / ROOM - FOOTSCRAY Looking for a sweet sharehouse or some quality, sociable housemates for a new lease (the people are more important than the house!). I'm a musician, heavy reader and board-games nerd (among many other things), and (almost) always up for doing active stuff or being out and about. I'm an engineer, working full-time in Geelong (for now), so as close as possible to Footscray station for the V/Line would be handy. I've got a car that I will happily chauffeur around, a brand new washing machine, some misc furniture, and I'm up for shared meals and the like. Move out date is 20 Jan, so I'd want to get cracking on the searching pretty soon. Pets are fine by me, but no smokers please.
Hello! I'm Becky. I'm looking for a relaxed and neat place to call home. Would love to live with one or two other people who are also studying or working.

Hey, I'm a 26y/o full time profession. Looking for a whole property place instead of apartments. I'm tidy, love cooking (wouldnt mind sharing my dumplings :p) and always down for a banter. I have some plants that could brighten up the place too! Would love to end up being good mates with future housemates! I do need a car space or some sort of arrangements!
Hey! I have been living in shared houses for 8 years and enjoy the social aspects of it. I'm respectful, tidy, fun and enjoy to bake. I'm vegetarian, but don't mind others preparing meat. In my free time, I love hiking, climbing, swimming and yoga. I'm quite active and love to bring 1-2 frinds over for cooking or generally sharing food. Not too much of a party hard human, but love good live music and dancing from time to time. Not looking for a party house, but something cosy to call home for a 3 month science project.
