I m a 36 year old guy running my own business in tourism, used to do project management before so it s been quite a change for me. I love traveling, hiking, cycling, reading books, catching up with friends and having meaningful conversation, also love to experiment lots of new things and different cultures. Need my own private space but don't mind having a tea/coffee or share a meal from time to time however friendly face is a must. Cheers
During the weekdays I'll be at Victoria University, footscray park, for my internship. In the evenings and in the weekend I'm totally in for some socialising but I'm also fine on my own and I'm looking for a place that will give me some privacy. I'm down to earth, easy going and always try to keep everything clean. Besides that I'm always down for a drink and a laugh.
Namaste! My name is Jody Dontje and I am an International Humanitarian, Life Coach and Teacher. My partner’s name is Melvin Sjerps and he is a Charity Founder and Business Major currently training for a marathon. We just returned from our 5-month humanitarian trip to Nepal volunteering with our charity team, and are extremely eager to start our teaching jobs as soon as we move to Melbourne. We are open, kind, respectful, tidy, professional and laid back individuals who are seeking a home near Melbourne to build up our charity and businesses, while both working in schools across Melbourne. We both love fitness and yoga, are vegetarians, non-smokers, don’t drink alcohol and we love the outdoors. I am a first generation born Australian, growing up moving across Australia, with a Dutch father and Chinese mother. Therefore, I am a very culturally open-minded person who gets along with everybody. If you have a room available (whether that is a room in a share house or an individual apartment) we are looking forward to hearing from you soon! All the best and have a lovely day! Dhanyabad (thank-you)! Take care, Sincerely Jody and Melvin
My name is James, accepted a promotion in my finance role so will be relocating from Perth to Melbourne. I've previously lived in Melbourne for few months covering a contract position prior to taking this permanent role. Away from my chaotic 9-5 schedule I'm a big sports fan and always up for a laugh, gym, brunch, ping pong you name it.
I enjoy living with people and sharing a space and company. I study full time and work part time so I'm out of the house a lot but when i'm home I love having chats about music, food, cute animals and travels. I'm a little nerdy and little creative and I love floofy cats and corgis. House trained: I have been living in share houses for 3 years, and have been renting my own place for 12 months. (looking at moving back to share houses as studying again) Stable income: I have permanent part time hours where I have been employed since October 2016. This means I can always pay my bills on time and chip in for household expenses without stress. I have a car : I enjoy household road trips and am happy to drive us to the shops. I have a TV/Fridge/Couch/Turn Table/Heater/house plants/potted herbs, if our house needs any of these or if we set up a place together I've got these sorted. (otherwise i'll likely sell these or let a friend use them if we don't need these)
keywords: Belgium, scientist, travelling, sports, happy Hi hi, my name is Niké. I am just (like... today!) graduated as a Bio-engineer at Ghent University in Belgium. I can call myself a city girl, growing up in the beautiful Medieval city of Ghent, although I love to fly away from time to time. I love to discover all corners of the world, with my backpack/dog/bike/tent/hitchiking... So when adventure is calling, I must go. :) Apart from travelling, as my education explains, I like to play with human cells, experimenting on them to find new therapies for human diseases. In short, I am a scientist. An internship in at CSIRO is what calls me to Melbourne - for me, the other side of the world! I have lived in Norway in a share house in the woods by the campus and I loved it! Although I am a bad cook, I always have a positive vibe, never sick and always keen for new adventures. I am pretty clean (although sometimes I like to play in the dirt ;p) an tidy. As long as I can do sports, run, swim and dance, I am happy. :) My spirit is that you can do anything - absolutely anything - that you wish for. As long as you really want it, you will achieve your goals! This is my religion. ;) My life goal is to live fully, make people happy (including myself) and to make earth a better place. Thats me in *hum* short. Nice to meet you!
I'm a working holiday maker from Ireland. I work full time in restaurant. I'm really easy to get along with, not a party animal. I prefer cozy nights in. I'm very independent and enjoy my own company but also like to catch up with my housemates. My hobbies include singing and dancing.
I'm pretty relaxed and easy going. I'm not a real party goer, but like to have a social beer with mates. I'm a keen Fly Fisherman and most weekends I'm away fishing somewhere. I also like to play guitar in my spare time. I'll be working full-time in the city and mostly keep to myself at home. I'm very respectful of others privacy and surroundings.
Hey guys, I am Tobias - a 28 year old guy. I work in the advertising industry as an art director - I basically think about the visuals of ads and come up with ideas that engage with people. Originally from Brisbane and have been in Melbourne for about 4-5 years. Over that time, I’ve been house trained, where I currently live in a house that I’ve been at for about 3 years. Now looking to move for a good change. I am mindful of housemates’ personal space and can be social as a fellow housemate. Whether it be drinks, movies etc. I am up for getting involved with housemates. I do a bit of cooking when I have time around work. I mostly have a habit of eating out. I clean up after myself and partake in house chores. I like to try out new things each weekend and have been told I am a bit of a yes man to things. I personally enjoy museums and art exhibits. I also do indoor rock climbing as a sport and keeping fit. Let me know if you’re free for me to come by to meet in person and check out your place.
I'm very open to new things and new people (I really enjoy meeting new people with different backgrounds and ways of thinking than my self). I prefer a clean and tidy home, but I don't mind a bit of mess during busy periods. I like to think of myself as fairly easy-going and it takes a lot to piss me off (but it's definitely doable if you try hard enough :)). In terms of lifestyle, I tend to prioritize healthy eating and quite a lot of movement/exercise. One thing I value very highly, is being able to move (play sports, workout, go for a run or walk, etc.) with other people - it's one of the best ways of spending time together, in my opinion. That being said, I definitely enjoy some downtime as well, eg. reading a book, playing guitar or having a lengthy conversation. Occasionally, I enjoy a night out with friends, dancing and drinking, but it's not something I do every single weekend. Although, it's not unlikely that you'll see me with a cold a beer or a glass of wine on the weekends. I'm going to study full time at UniMelb for the second semester (july till november) on an exchange program (I'm from Denmark). I definitely wouldn't mind living with people who are not necessarily studying at UniMelb as well, although it's not a requirement.
Hello there! I am Chaira, 24 years old and I'm currently living the good life in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In November I will start my fulltime masters research internship at Orygen (located at Parkville) for 8 months. Therefore, I'm looking for a nice and chill place to live per October with some nice roommates. Preferably the place includes a shared livingroom and it shouldn't be too far away from the Orygen institute. About me: I'm an easy- going, very social, cozy and friendly roommate. I love meeting new people and making new memories! Further, I like to go swimming and dancing, I really like to cook, I love having coffees and drinks in the city and I like to go out from time to time. Please contact me if you have something nice for me!:)
I’m a nurse working full time who has just moved to Melbourne from the country. I am busy most weekends heading home to see family but am always keen for a night in or to go out for dinner and a few drinks. I’m not much of a party goer and prefer home to the nightlife. I enjoy going to the gym and enjoy social sports. But also enjoy a pig out watching a movie or enjoy tasting delicious food! I am interested in a room to myself that will fit my queen bed and chest of drawers. I don’t mind sharing a bathroom and although I’d love an off street park as long as there is decent street parking I’ll be a happy camper! I would prefer a place with decent public transport to get to work but am flexible. Let me know if you think we’d be a good fit!
Hi there, I’m James, I’m 20 years old gay guy and currently living in Tasmania but am making the move over once I find residency! I’ve had my time in going out partying and would now much rather just stay at home with the other housemates and watch a movie and eat some delicious food.
My name is Jack and I am a full time landscaper in Brunswick. I'm looking to move somewhere nearby. I'm considerate, neat, and easy to get along with. I like to listen to music, watch the footy and have a beer on the weekends. I like to keep things tidy, and am quite approachable, I do like my own space every now and then and am more than happy to give others theirs. I do require a location to park my car as I use it every day for work, however, it does not need to be off-street.
Hi there! We are two French engineering students coming to Melbourne for year at the university. Eager to discover Australia at its fullest, we would love to find a very nice shared home with new people! Eleonore and I used to live together in France, keeping a tidy flat I promise. We both like staying cosy at home as well as going out, depending on our mood. We are very sociable and wish to meet people from all around Australia (and the world). If you want to laugh and let a funny duo of French people storm into your life, we are the perfect match! Do not hesitate to contact me so we can meet anytime. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A SHARED ROOM BUT FOR 2 DIFFERENT ROOMS. Thanks!
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 30, born & raised in Melbourne w/ Indian background. Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it)p but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
I'm 28 and have just moved from Perth to Melbourne with my dog Indie. I work full time in the CBD 9 - 5, so won't be around much in the day. I like going to pubs and gigs, I'm pretty laid back and enjoy chilling out with my dog. I've lived in share houses before so I know how important it is to keep communal areas clean and to give people space. Any more questions, feel free to ask!
I am 99% fun and no drama. Clean, neat and respectful. Most importantly, I am not going to put you in trouble. Currently looking for a single room in CBD, preferably the ones close to RMIT. I would also love to live in a suburb close to the city if I can find one as long as the house is close to train station. I study business degree and work part time. I like libraries, books, going out, grocery shopping, etc. I am the person who you'd love to share the house and going out with :)
We are a Colombian couple, studying English and working everyday. We love to watch movies, have dinner outside, and drink a beer once in a while with our flatmate to have a nice talk. We came here to be in a peaceful place. We are very very organized and tidy! Please we are only looking for a place with private bathroom, no more than 20 minutes away from the city, and $1.350 x month including bills.
From Sweden, graduating as a dietician next year (therefore love everything about food - cook, grocery shopping, talk about it, eat a lot of it and so on). I'm spending my next semester at Victoria University. In Melbourne from July 14th. Nutrition and food is one of my greatest interests so if you want to exchange knowledge I'm more than willing to contribute with everything you need (and don't need) to know about nutrients! ...Or we just stick to other topics as it's not the end of the world not eating perfect or enjoying the good things in life! When I am not busy with studies I like to relax by watching Netflix or a movie (but I am the worst in remembering the ones I've seen), going for a long walk and spending time at the gym. I usually keep the evenings short during the weekdays but it's nice to have activities in the weekends and aparts from the ones above it’s always nice to go out for a coffee, or a drink occasionally, but I’m not really a party person. I don’t smoke or have any animals. And I have the most respect for privacy as I do value my own but would also enjoy a nice chat after a long day! Experience of living in a sharehouse previously, not looking for a party-house but would be nice to be able to have friends over for dinner or drinks occasionally! So if you want a housemate that will keep it tidy, clean, are down to earth and won't mind about what movie to watch (except horror movies), I'm the one!
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and clean all the time. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it.
I am 24 from the UK and love to socialise and meet new people. I am not a massive drinker, but more than happy to go out and have a few drinks regularly with friends. I am quiet on a evening and don't host parties etc. Looking to stay for 2-3 months with the possibility to extend. I'm excited to meet new people!
Hi, I'm Abay. I'm 24 and I am doing my postgraduate study at RMIT city campus. I'm easy going, tidy and respectful of other peoples space and belongings. I'm a laid back person so I like to take it easy and have a laugh. I'm looking for either a private room or shared room. Thank you!
