I always respect space and privacy however if you feel like hanging out I'm happy to chill. I like to cook and always keep everything I use clean. I'm hardly home as I'm either at the gym, working or seeing friends, so when I am home I just take it easy by reading, tv or listening to music. Always happy to hang with roommates and go out if we feel like it. I rarely have people over as I prefer going out to see them.
I’m a fulltime student at Macquarie Uni and I’m also a part time student at SAE institute (Chippendale) so I would love to live in a fairly central location as most of my time is spent at either of these locations. I’m a pretty chilled wine drinking-Netflix watching- music and theatre loving woman. I’m an easy going relaxed person who loves socialising and having a good laugh.I also understand and respect people’s space and privacy, I sometimes very much value time to myself as well. I’m clean & and tidy and would be more than happy to contribute to all the “less than glamorous” choirs needing to be done. I am honest and trustworthy.
Hi! My name is Lizzie, I'm 21 and studying a Bachelor of Ancient History full-time at Macquarie University. I've lived out of home before so I know the drill. :) I live in Canberra at the moment, but am looking to move up to Sydney (either near Macquarie Uni or near public transport that’ll take me there, listed suburbs are just ideas) in mid-late April (can be flexible with dates), until mid July with the possibility of staying the rest of the year. I’m generally pretty quiet, a bit of a hermit and I like my own space, but I’m also very friendly and don’t mind a chat or to hang out occasionally. In my free time, I play video games and other dorky stuff like that. And of course, you can have access to my consoles if you like, but I warn you, I’m a demon at Mario Kart! :) I’m currently in the process of cutting down and quitting smoking. When I do smoke, I try to be considerate about it. I NEVER smoke indoors (or even near open windows/doors) or in the vicinity of non-smokers, and I keep my space clean. I try not to smell of smoke, either. Other than that, I’m pretty easy to live with. My party days are behind me, I just enjoy an occasional glass of wine. Very happy to share meals or catch up every now and then, and to give you space when you need it. I'm also fine with living with children and am happy to babysit (I worked in childcare for three years!). Pets are definitely fine with me, but I can’t live with cats, I’m deathly allergic. I clean up after myself, particularly in common areas. Furnished room would be helpful but not a requirement. Own bathroom would be a huge plus, happy to pay a bit extra for one. Not wanting to share a bedroom, sorry. I receive a regular income and my scholarship pays for most of my other expenses so you don't have to worry about my rent/bills being paid on time! Well, I think that’s it! Any questions, send me a message. Hope to find my new home soon! :)
Hi, I am a researcher in macquarie uni . A few details about me: I have lived studied and worked in 5 different countries in 4 continents (USA, Switzerland, France, Australia etc so can adapt very well with anyone from any culture. I am an easy going person and fully respect others privacy and never disturb anyone. And, i prefer to live clean so I take good care of kitchen and living area mostly.. I am ok for a flatshare and to team up for a new flat too. Lets do this! Thanks
Hi there :) A little about me; I'm very clean, respectful, responsible and a can cook pretty well I'm also happy to help someone out if needed. I work as a town planner part time (3 days a week) which will go to full time when I finish my degree. The other two week days I have class or generally am studying. I am currently in my final semester of studies. I'm pretty social, easy to get along with and enjoy having a drink watching a movie or going out on the weekend. However, importantly, I also enjoy doing my own thing and I'm respectful of other people's time. Let me know if you're interested in offering a room etc. Cheers, Tom
I am pretty easy going and friendly. I work full time Monday to Friday and like to be outdoors on the weekends. I like to have chill nights during the week. Wouldn't mind hanging out with flatmates every now and then.
Hi everyone, We are an international working couple: Ian does physics, and Nadya works with arts. We moved to Australia a year ago, we previously lived in the US, Russia, and the Netherlands. We are friendly, easy-going and sporty. We bike and hike a lot, but enjoy vegging out at home occasionally. The reason we are looking to relocate from our current house is because we are (finally!) bringing to Australia our small dog who we rescued in Montenegro. We are looking to join in a household of pet-friendly individuals or form a new share.
Have been described as a pocket rocket (small but full of character). Nineteen and will be working full time this year. I may be young but I have a good head on my shoulders. Very clean and don't drink but I'm fine in drinking environments. Have been living on my own for a while. I enjoy hanging out but also really love spending time on my own when I need to. Private room preferred. Will talk philosophy and politics frequently but I promise I'm a fun time. I love music and films and getting to know people. I'm always down to share and listen to stories.
I'm 17 years old, working full time in Customer Service (Silverwater area). I’m clean, friendly and easy to get along with! I like hanging out with my friends and reading in my spare time.
Hi! Imogen and Michael here! :) We're a long-term, easy-going couple moving to NSW from Victoria for work! We're both tidy people and we love to cook :D Love to have a laugh and a few cheeky bevs on the weekend. I am going in to a job in the media industry and Michael will be pursuing a job in the warehousing industry. We've both never lived in NSW, so we reckon starting in a share house is the best way to make friends and get our bearings!
I’m a construction management professional who is very clean, tidy, domesticated and friendly. No money worries, always pay up front and in advance. No visitors and not a party animal. I would like to stay at least 6mths, depending on projects, even longer.
I'm A Medical student moving from Perth to Sydney for study. I am easy going and have lived in sharehouses before, so I am conscious of those around me. I like to be active, and am relatively tidy for a 22 year male. I would be interested in living in other suburbs around USyd, but have only listed the ones above because i don't know Sydney very well.
Hello, We are an Indian couple with a 3YO daughter, I am working fulltime as software consultant and spouse works part-time from home. Moving from Melbourne to Sydney on 27/03. We have been staying in a flat share in Melbourne so completely know the protocol. Looking for a place nearby station or bus stop with good frequency as I do not have a car, public transport is required nearby. Thanks, Anubhav Jain
Hi, My name's Hannah. I'm studying at Macquarie University. I'm a friendly, easy-going, kind, and clean person. I'm also respectful of each other's space. I love sharing and helping people.
Hi there, I'm an Apprentice Electrician currently living in Strathfield and needing to move out in the near future. I'm an easygoing and tidy person who enjoys relaxing at home gaming, studying and tv-watching. Currently at TAFE studying Electrical and learning Korean in my own time. I'm keen to meet people who are reliable and easy to talk to so we can get along well.
I am a recent Uni grad trying to start my career as a Recruitment Consultant, so far with about 6 months experience. I work full-time in the City (Town Hall) and just started going to the gym so in a bit of a health-kick at the moment, I also love my sports, and I will be going out regularly on weekends to attend Sydney FC/Sydney Swans games. I will be coming with a Laptop, Xbox One and Mini-SNES so hopefully you have a decent TV I can plug those consoles in and I'm happy to host games nights and what not (I have 2 controllers for both so far but i'm happy to buy more if we need to). I don't mind having a few drinks occasionally either, but i wouldn't call myself a big drinker. I consider myself a peaceful, quiet, tidy person. I will rarely bring any unwanted guests over and i will let you know in advance if i do. I don't smoke and i won't be able to live with someone who does as I have a medical condition. I don't have a car so i will require somewhere that is from walking distance to the train station or close enough to the City where i can catch the bus/walk. I absolutely love animals and i will be looking to adopt one so i hope your accommodation is pet-friendly (but it's okay if it isn't). Last but not least i respect other people's personal space and i expect others to do the same for me.
Hello hello, I'm looking to move to nice private room. I've been living in and running a share house for the past 2.5 years for both students and young professionals. I have 4 bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, living room, worth of stuff (everything else as well, heaters, vacuum etc) so if you're missing anything I can bring it (anything else I'll just sell off). I'm extremely clean and organised and am a chef/marketing professional. I'll respect any and all rules that there may be and always pay rent on time. Currently working at the Nighthawk Diner and working on 2 personal businesses. I want to move because I don't have time to run the house and focus on my work, also just want a change of scenery :)
Hiya! I’m Harmony :) About me: I’m 24. I work full-time as a Marketing Coordinator in Real Estate. I can be a bit of a social butterfly but also value my downtime. It’s not uncommon to find me in my room watching documentaries on Netflix. I'd like to find a home where it won't be an issue I have friends visit occasionally, so long we respect the peace of the house. Friend 1 describes me as: Inquisitive, nurturing and candid. Friend 2: Honest, supportive and ambitious. I’ve lived in share accommodation for many years, so understand the boundaries, respect and courtesy that come with sharing a home and would like to live with housemates close to my age. I have my own furniture and as a self confessed shopaholic, I’ve collected a generous amount of shoes and clothes that would like a built in wardrobe to call home. I’d ideally like a space where I can fit my queen bed, dresser and remaining belongings. Need to stay close to Epping for work since I don't drive.
