Hi there, I'm returning to Australia after being overseas for a year. Originally from the Netherlands, but lived in Australia before for 8 years. I'm a down to earth, outdoorsy person, love love love the ocean :), social, but respectful of someone's space and privacy. Part-time student, finishing my MBA, and work part-time as an online marketing consultant. Looking for a 2 months stay at first, but probably a lot longer than that. Hope to meet you soon :) ?!
Hello, my name is Luke and I'm looking for a room between Stanwell Park and Thirroul. I'm a teacher working in the Sydney which keeps me fairly busy. I do a lot of surfing, and am also writing a book which takes up time too, I am in fact going through the long process of finding a publisher - takes time. I also do a lot of cooking and photography (I have a market stall at Paddington markets, although I'll be attending to that less in the future), as well as music (the guitar - in a quiet way) and if I can I like to restore, paint, and fix up furniture and the like. I'm easygoing, but I seem to have a lot of hobbies - which means I'm up and about a lot of the time. I like to go out when I can too, and hang out with my friends, I'm not at all the party type however. I'm just looking for a place that fits with all of that. I'm a clean flatmate and would prefer a place that's looked after. I also like to chat and spin yarns with my flatmates if there's time, and with whoever else might be around. Thanks for you time. Luke
Hi, I'm a high school teacher who loves to cook, do yoga and get outdoors. I'm pretty chilled and looking to live with friendly, tidy people who enjoy a mix of socialising and doing their own thing.
Hi, I am looking for a lovely home. I love nature, and the environment is important to me. I am a gentle and trustworthy person who loves to spend time in my own space creating, and in beautiful nature. I hope to find the right home with the right people for me to share a home with. Thank you, Pip
I'm fully employed and looking for a short to medium term accomodation. I'm a chef in the national park and love cooking at home. Other interests include surfing, tennis, yoga and recently painting. I reckon I'm on the acceptable side of OCD about tidyness and have no irritating habits I know about so far.
Hi guys, my name's Kingy and I'm looking for a room to rent in the eastern suburbs(preferably with ensuite). It's says to tell you what make's me great to live with but I that list is simply to long. I suggest just meeting me for a coffee and I can tell you how good I am in person:) I'm 32 born in Albury but grew up on the beach down the south coast. But have also lived in Brissy and Sydney for a few years each a few years ago. So I'd say I'm a combination of a country beach bum/surfie with a love of the city mayhem. I've spent most my life working in the building trade but am currently on the disability pension with Centrelink due to a injuries so have decided to take advantage of this and have enrolled in Cert 4 New Small Business Management online and plan to try get some part time work in a hardware or something once I get settled. But until then my income is guaranteed and you will never have to worry about rent not being paid or me being able to not feed myself. Speaking of food, it's one of my most favourite things:) I'm learning to eat healthier and am really enjoying the city and all the different natio's food. Also go to the gym as regularly as possible. The only thing that I'm struggling with is I do have a dog and cannot see me moving somewhere long term without him. But because I need to find some asap or before the 15th march I'm looking for something around the 3 month mark. If you can help me out please contact me here or on my Facebook, Aron Donnolley-King Cheers big ears Kingy
Hi there. I'm Annette, I have two friendly desexed indoor/outdoor girl cats (they are sisters and super cute together). We are looking for a home for the coming 2 years whilst I finish my nursing degree. I am currently working as a carer, I've moved to Wollongong to be near my family and am a domesticated responsible adult. I'm not perfect but I believe in communication and resolution as I learn about the people I'm living with and we create a home that works for us all. I pay my bills, I own a car, I like to cook, I don't party much and I enjoy having a clean house and pull my weight chores wise. Hope to hear from you. ✌🏽
Hi! I'm 32, clean and considerate. And I'm looking forward to surfing each morning before work this summer! I work at the Reserve Bank in the city. I'm also out for dinner quite a bit during the week. I'm looking for a home to come back to that is peaceful but connected and friendly. Dogs are a big bonus! I love music. I play acoustic guitar but I don't mind taking it to the park!
We are a professional couple in our mid twenties and have just moved to the Wollongong area from Melbourne! We enjoy socialising but also like our quiet time. Nelson works in Sydney Monday-Friday and I work in Austinmer, Tuesday-Saturday. On our Sunday's off together we like eating out, markets and the beach! We're happy with a furnished or unfurnished place but would prefer to bring our own bed :)
Hi future house mate : ) My name is Nikki and I just turned 30. I live with my boyfriend, Daniel who is 35. (Both yoing at heart though : ) ) We were both born in Australia but have extensively travelled through Europe, Asia and America. I have worked at Shellharbour Hospital for 13 years & Dan is a professional Cameraman for FOX SPORTS and has worked here for 15 years. I also have a Bachelor of Science from UOW and am about to commence my PhD in Psychology. We both can provide several tenancy references and anything else you require. We are currently renting through a real estate and have lived in this flat in Oak Flats for 2 years. Our 2 other house mates have moved on this year so we are looking for something more suitable to our budget. We have both lived in share accommodation before with no dramas whatsoever. We consider ourselves easy going, respectful, clean, intelligent, educated, extremely happy and have a great sense of humour. We love food and cooking, music, photography, film, travel and going for long drives. Our strong frIendships and family are very important to us. We own our own appliances and furniture including a brand new washer and dryer and top of the line Tvs. What is not needed can easily be put in storage. Cleaning up after ourselves is something we take pride in. We really hope someone out there gives us a chance as you won't regret it.
Hey! My name is Ella and I'm looking to move out of home for the first time (unappealing I know). I work as a disability support worker which leads me to shift work at all hours of the day. I love creating my own space and would welcome you to add your own stuff to make our place feel like a home. I find myself to be a very social person but also appreciate my time alone. Ideally I'd be looking to work together in finding a house that we can rent between 3-5 people. I am happy to look freely throughout the shire and beyond.
Fun and easy going human being. Professional and busy most of the time. Very respectful of other people's space, privacy and belongings. Like to keep a tidy house and enjoy cooking and having a nice relaxing catch up with friends.
I am scientist moving from Melbourne to take up a job in Sydney. I have lived in a bunch of different share houses and understand the importance of being clean and friendly.
I am a fun and easygoing traveler looking to make money and explore at the same time. I usually work in bars/restaurants. When I'm not working I like to be outside, go to the gym, have drinks with people and just enjoy life!
Recently returned from living abroad for a few years (Japan then London). Fairly clean and organised person. I work in community services, currently helping patients with post hospital case management. I'm an active person and like sports, running, and surfing but also enjoy movies and board games.
Kickstarting my first year at UOW, living in Sydney at the moment and would like to look for a place a little closer to campus. I'm a pretty tidy person, and am working part time at KFC, which means discounted chicken so, if that's not reason enough to bring me on board, then my wit and humour might. I kid, but yeah, looking for some relaxed people to share a little while with. I can also bring netflix so i'll be keen to hear from you all.
Hey guys, I'm looking for an awesome sharehouse preferably around Wollongong or up near Austinmer. I'm an easy going, laid back person who is currently working close to to full time and studying at uni. Be ideal to share with some housemates of a similar age and who don't mind hanging out and having a bit of a chat/drink on the weekends. When I'm not at work I'm often playing guitar in a band up in Sydney or heading out to gigs. Hit me up if you you have a spare room or would like to start a new sharehouse. Cheers Sean
I'm 26 and work full-time. I'm pretty easy going, tidy and always up for a laugh. I'm moving to Wollongong to take up a temporary job between January and July. Originally from Adelaide but currently living in Sydney's inner west, I'm looking forward to moving closer to beach! I cycle or walk most places. Keen to hang out, socialise, see live music or have a few drinks at the pub. I enjoy movies, chatting, bushwalking and reading. Looking for a place in Wollongong or North Wollongong but am open for other options nearby.
Hey, We are a couple looking to find an available house or team up with someone or another couple and lease a property around Jan-Feb 2017. Ideally it'd be in Wollongong and close to the bus/train but we're also cool with Woonona, Bulli or Thirroul. We both work full time and like to keep a clean & tidy living space. We'd be looking for something for 6-12 months If you have something available or are looking to team up send us a message :)

Hi there! I'm a 29-year-old creative writing PhD student and the founder of Wollongong Writers Festival. I love swimming, running, yoga and red wine in equal levels haha. I'm LGBT+ friendly, and identify as a feminist. I’m on the introverted side in terms of day-to-day living, and spend a lot of time reading and writing (I’m currently writing my first book). However, I do love checking out live music, literary-arts-related events and catching up with family and friends once I’ve got my fix of solitude. I love cooking, and like to keep the place I’m living pretty clean and tidy. I’m kind of undecided if I want to stay in the Illawarra (the view! the nature!) or move to Sydney (the arts events!), so am just putting some feelers out at this stage. I’m currently leasing a place in Thirroul, but have to move out in April 2017. Cheerio, Chloe
Fun bubbly And tidy living person. I do enjoy my own space but also enjoy hanging out , having movie nights or going out and having a few wines , prefer a place that will also consider small pets also
Im considerate, happy and friendly person with an interest in keeping home (not just house) with whom ever I live. A caring friend not a co-inhabitant, who given the nature of her work as a researcher also values quiet and space to read and think. Loves music, (everything), stimulating conversations, singing and practicing guitar, yoga, outdoors, cooking and animals (though no pets of my own). Feels challenged by: people who are inconsiderate of the needs/standards (eg of cleanliness, lifestyle)/ belongings of others, people who are unreliable. Would prefer a vegetarian household.
Hi, I am a pretty chilled, grounded person, always up for house hold chatter, cackles and hangs. I am an OCD architect in training, which means I keep my spaces neat and tidy, but not to a length that would hinder another's way of living, always respectful of other people's space and household items. I am a food loving vegan. I love to cook and share meals, especially over a glass of vino. In saying that, I am not pedantic about pot and pan sharing. I love being in the garden; planting, composting, growing, yoga-cising, reading and simply just being. One last thing, I have a small black, adorable Bombay cat who gets on well wth most animals. She tends to adventure outside during the day, and is an extraordinary cuddle buddy in the evening.
I am a 26 year old professional male, currently working in the Education Industry. Looking for a very clean, well - organised housemate (prefer to share with an older male 30+) in a quiet neighbourhood, prefer the top floor of a unit / house, with trees surrounding a quiet - street property. My current rental lease finishes towards the end of June 2017, but am willing to move anytime sooner for the right match. For fun in my spare time, I enjoy playing chess, cleaning the house and engaging in deeper conversations.
Hey everyone, I'm moving back to the Wollongong area after two years living in London! I'm a happy, sociable person. I'm an early years teacher so fun to be around, I like the outdoors, going on hikes and eating, having drinks...just normal stuff! I'm looking for a place with sociable housemates (not a party house) and thats generally tidy. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
I'm 25, studying full time and working part time both throughout the week and on weekends so I'm rarely home. The time that I am home I usually just like to spend recharging, though I do enjoy getting out and socialising when I can. I'm tidy, laid back, and respectful of others. And I'm hoping to find some like-minded housemates to take me in!
Easy going, full time worker. have plenty of sporting commitments weekday evenings. enjoy cooking, surfing and staying active. I have a son who I see often but does not sleep over with me.
Kody: Makes terrible puns, I am organised, and a neat freak, I spew random facts ;) Will be studying in 2017 at the UOW so I may be a little internal because I can be a stresshead. Ethan is a second year apprentice chef, who will be working up to five days a week, and is a quality music enthusiast who enjoys strumming on the guitar and making crazy flavours. Pets preferable, otherwise it can be managed without.
I'm looking for a legend (guy/gal doesnt matter) to rent a decent 2/3 br. Willing to increase the budget if we find an awesome place. Move-out date can be quite flexible. Not to brag but I'm friendly, social, tidy, clean, easy-going and adaptable. Full-time professional. Wouldnt mind a drink or two some weekends. If mutually agreed, maybe invite a few friends once in a while. If my profile sounds interesting or if you have more questions, feel free to hit me up.
I'm a student at UOW and working part-time as an assistant in nursing. I'm pretty relaxed and friendly, quite social on weekends. I'm reasonably tidy, definitely not a slob, happy to compromise and adapt! Would love a place a bit closer to the uni :)
I'm a nice, easy going guy. Most of the time I'm either visiting friends or working so I'm not home alot. I'm currently a supervisor at a local Italian pizzeria where it's pretty stable. I like my computer games so yeah I'm a bit of a gamer but noise isn't a problem.
I am a single quiet 26 year old and am a trained florist. I love doing creative things like painting and craft. I have a cute black cat and am looking to rent in Wollongong area.
Hey All, Looking for a room to rent or to start a new share house. I work full time 5 days a week as an Estimator for a small business in Bellambi. My hobbies include playing & watching sports of all types, mainly soccer and golf, video games, riding my motorbike on weekends and road trips to check out new places. I'm a very easy going room mate and like things to be tidy and clean. I intend to contribute to household chores such as washing dishes, vacuuming, dusting and keeping the place tidy and expect the same in a room mate. I'm always up for a chat and a beer and hanging out and forming a friendship. I also enjoy some alone time every now and then and respect others personal space. A room big enough for a queen bed, desk and closet or a built in wardrobe would be preferred but I am flexible for the right place or right room mate. A secure garage or covered car space would also be ideal but not essential. I am in a long term relationship of almost 4 years so my girlfriend will stay over a couple nights a week, mainly on weekends. There will also be a couple nights a week that I will stay at her place. If you are similarly easy going and friendly and are looking for a team-up or have an available room please don't hesitate to contact me as I'm extremely easy to get along with.
Hey there. I am an ESL teacher, but recently I retrained (MA in Special Education) and have taken up a F/T post at a state school in South Penrith. I have enjoyed fruitful experiences in shared houses in Australia, England, Brazil, Japan, Colombia & Afghanistan, so I am a fully domesticated (can cook & clean), sociable, and enjoy reading, rugby (union) & a riding my bike.
I am a Vietnamese student and I am going to do my master at the University of Wollongong. I am very friendly, open-minded and tidy. I always keep the kitchen and toilet clean. I can cook pretty well and I sometimes invite my friends for dinner at home. I am also very friendly with pets, especially cats. I used to have 5 of them. I love watching movies, traveling and taking photos. and playing badminton.
