Hey guys, My name is Vineeta and my partner's name is Corrie. We have been living on the Gold Coast for about 2 years. We were both working in Sydney and decided to give up the corporate life to do some further study on the Gold Coast. I used to be an economist and Corrie worked in engineering. We are currently living in a one bed place in Varsity Lakes and are keen to move into a bigger place (hopefully near some water) with some new room mates. The rent for a house is not too much more than a one bedroom and we thought it might be a great idea to get a house with some like-minded people and make the most of everything this city has to offer! A bit about us Vineeta (Me) I am originally from Melbourne, but have travelled and lived overseas, I have spent the last 7 years living and working in Sydney and before that lived in NZ. My work has taken me all over Asia and to the Pacific islands. I love travel, cooking (when I have time), going to the gym and spend most of my time these days at university. I also travel back to Melbourne a lot, so there is the bonus of getting the place to yourself some weekends. Corrie Corrie is originally from the UK and used to be an engineer, like me he got sick of the corporate life and has gone back to study. He is into rock climbing, hiking and likes to get outdoors (bonus if yu are looking for a climbing partner). We both love live music and getting out and about and have both lived in sharehouses for the last 10-12 years. What we are looking for A group of people to team-up with or another couple/friends that want to move into a house. Hopefully with a bathroom each and in a location that makes the most of the Gold Coast. We are not so keen on apartments as they can be small and want everyone to have their own space. We also have furniture so all that would be required from your end would be whatever you would like in your room(s). If you have your own furniture we are pretty flexible and would be happy to work something out. I have been in many sharehouses and find the best ones are those where everyone is friendly and can have the occasional flat feast/odd drink. In saying that though we are not looking for a party house as we are both studying (the odd get together is cool though). We are pretty independent and can be as social or anti-social s you wish. We are drama free, tidy, respectful pay rent on time and would be looking for the same in our future flatmates. We are looking for people who want to get a place for 9+ months and want a home as opposed to someone who wants somewhere to crash out or hideaway in their room. Cheers :)
I've always lived with others. I own my own rental property (in my home town) so I respect other people's. I like to keep clean and tidy and I don't drink often and I'm a NON smoker, no drugs, pretty active and social. Run, ride, swim, hike and paddle generally take up my weekends. Only really want to be beach side of highway in Miami, Mermaid, Nobbys (unless it's really amazing or different) because I swim, surf ski and run everyday before and after work on the beach. But definately NOT surfers paradise or more than a few of blocks away from the beach! Ideally from 20th May onwards as I have a house sitting job until then but will commit and pay rent for the perfect place if I had to.
I am a 27 year old girl who is an aged care worker, I am looking for somewhere to stay until I get back on my feet and who knows, would be great meeting new friends. I am tidy, I like to attempt cooking as well lol If there's anything available, dont hesitate to let me know. Cheers 👌
Hello 😊 My name is Maria and I'm 24 y/o girl from Spain that look to rent a room near my English school. I would like to find a private room/shared room with easygoing people. My English course is an intensive one so I would not spend so much time at home during the day. I would love to practice my English and teach my language If my flatmater wont to. I've seen your room and I would like to come and see it if it's available. I wish you a nice day!😁😁😁
Hi Im new to the area. Im looking for a nice place to rent with lovely people. I need to be within walking distance from the beach, in a clean area. Hey Im Dan, I’m relatively new to the Gold Coast, love to get outside and explore, I keep myself fit and healthy but do Enjoy a couple of drinks on the odd evening. I appreciate and respect down time and know how to keep the noise down when others are sleeping. I am a hospitality Professional in a senior management role for a restaurant group in Queensland. I’d like to be able to friends as well as house mates.
Reliable, clean, healthy, motivated beach lovers. We are both in our early 20s and working full time on the South end of the Gold Coast.
Hey there, We are Charli and Dave, we're a British couple who've come over to the Gold Coast to work on the Common wealth games this April. We're easy going and pretty chill, we're both active and love going for a run along the beach or a swim / surf (although we've still not mastered it!) in the sea. We also love cooking or hanging out and watching a good film. A perfect weekend for us is getting somewhere beautiful and soaking up the outdoors. We'll be working some long hours over the games so we're looking for a nice place where we can chill and relax when we're not in work. We're still unsure of the exact date we'll be leaving but we think we'll be here until the end of April beginning of May, or perhaps the end of May beginning of June. We should have leaving dates confirmed in the next week or so. We're also keen conservationists and have most recently been in the Amazon for six months counting butterflies and monitoring macaws - we can tell you all about it :) Looking forward to finding a new place and meeting new friends. Charli and Dave.
Recently broken up with my fiancé who's keeping the current house, leaving my beautiful baby blue american Staffy Fur baby and i to find a new home. She's an indoor dog although despite the size of her she's well trained, very lazy and more like a cat with separation anxiety. I've lived with my partner in a 'home' for 4 years so i know how to completely respect homes and houses. I'm tidy, well mannered and pretty much a 22 year old grandma who works 6 days a week and chills with her dog on days off.

I'm a professional who works long hours so when I am at home I like to enjoy some peace and quiet. In saying that though, I am a very social person, easy to get along with and am proactive in ensuring that my living space is clean and tidy.
