Hi There! I'm looking for a housemate (preferably long term) to team up and share a property. I would like to find a place in the Daw Park/Melrose Park area or neighbouring suburbs (I have a long list of suburbs; south, south west and south east of the city I'd be willing to live in), modern-ish, with 2 bathrooms, air con, low maintenance, preferably a dishwasher, preferably 2 living areas (or a spare bedroom). A house, or a town house, somewhere with at least a little space and privacy. Pet friendly because I have a cat. I would like to find somewhere asap, but am flexible with my time frame. I'm thinking somewhere around $400 to $530 ish (total). I've seen some nice places that fit all this coming up around ascot park, edwardstown, millswood, plympton type suburbs recently. I am late 30s. Pretty laid back. Quiet, honest, fair, nice, friendly, think i'm pretty funny - pretty sure I am, sociable but don't go out much anymore, don't like confrontation, don't like bossy people, don't like self-centred people. I work full time and I work hard so I can be quite lazy in my free time and spend a lot of it sleeping in and watching tv and movies, if not brunching with friends, so I don't want to share with you if you have a tendancy to be judgey. I'm very close to my family. I like things pretty clean and tidy and would like someone who will be on my same wave length and help me clean the place when we've decided it needs cleaning (or maybe we could splash out on a cleaner!). I don't expect you to be cheery all the time..... I'm not. I like going out for brunch and meals in general. I'm good at basic cooking. I like the outdoors. I like movies. I don't like excerise but I wish I did. I like road trips. I like music festivals (but the grown up kind). I don't garden, but I do like gardens, especially herbs. I love food and coffee and tend to go through phases of no will power when it comes to food, so again no judgement please. Looove music, but only the good music that I like. Sooo, I've been living by myself for the last however many years and so have all the required furniture, but you might too, so a place with a garage would be good so we can store the extra things we have. This, and my love of tv is why I'd like a place with a second living area or spare bedroom so we could both have our own space to do what we want without being stuck in our bedrooms. Although if you'd like to join me in whatever i'm watching, that would be nice. We don't have to become friends, but that would also be nice.... I would prefer a female, just because I can be pretty shy around strangers. If you're a guy and you think our personalities will work, I'd still be happy to meet with you. I take a little while to warm up and come out of my shell and be myself and then you'll probably wish I'd get back in my shell ;) I know I said I wouldn't judge........ but........ *not a smoker *Vego and vegan fine so long as you respect my love of meat. *need to be reliable about money. i.e. splitting and paying bills. If you agree with at least most of what I've said please contact me and we can arrange to meet. Cheers Margo :)
Looking for 3-6 month rent in shared housing close to the city
We are nice French people. We love cooking, and sharing good moments with our flatmates. I (Suzanne) am a biologist on plant and I am doing a Phd on vines and Jules is a winemaker and Brewer. We do lot of sports like running, climbing, volley ball... We also like calm during the week because we are workers. But we are open to meet people and share good moments with a good meal and a glass of wine. Happy to meet you! Cheers!
I currently study full time at Adelaide Uni and work part time, but still enjoy sports and relaxing of an evening/weekend. It's a package deal, so I come with a one year old King Charles Cavalier, who adores everyone he meets and is always up for a cuddle! I am a friendly, tidy and polite person who doesn't mind having a chat after a long day but tend to keep to myself sometimes as well. My lease is up at my current place at the end of July, so ideally looking for a place to move into before then. Im just wanting to be a little closer to the city as I tend to travel in most days of the week.
Hey there. I´m Diego. I´m a brazilian guy looking for a some place to stay during my studies in Adelaide I´m a simple guy, easy to live with, polite and quiet. Im graduate in gastronomy and wine businnes in Brazil. I love cooking , have a good time with friends, listening music, doing some sports. That`s it ;)
I am a consulting engineer / manager professional that is transferring to Adelaide CBD for work. I travel to Melbourne and Sydney regularly for work and I will head home on some / most weekends. I grew up in country Victoria and I enjoy meeting new like minded people. I am pretty handy for odd jobs around the house. I have a car but would be happy walking or using public transport to get to work.
Couple looking for accommodation nearby CBD initially for 3 months, if job scene works out well, may extend the lease as required.
We have been best friends for over ten years and are perfect housemates to live with. Very clean, great cooks, fun to be around and always up for games, movies and drinks. We have both studied and are now working full time around the city. We are heading to Europe for a few months and are looking to sort our living arrangements for when we return in mid-late October. We have plenty of furniture to fill an empty house, and would be happy either just in a two bedroom home by ourselves or teaming up with others to get a bigger place. Ideally somewhere near the train/tram line is handy, and hoping to live with other respectable, neat and social people too.
I'm Lena, I'm a very friendly, caring person who is looking for a place to settle down in. I am very respectful of personal space and am a very open minded person. I'm reasonably tidy and likes to do the dishes aha! I'm a hospitality worker and also starting a course in family counselling and aspire to get a degree of social science at uni. I love a good chat and a laugh! I am available to move in now :)
Hey Im Jamie, 26 years old. I am a down to earth guy, genuine and respectful, bit of an old soul. Im currently a Youth Mentor and a Counselling Student. My interests include yoga and buddhism. Looking to study further in the near future. Looking to live in a 2 bedroom place, preferable somewhere in the middle between south and city. Give us a message if this suits!
Work full time in the city so this keeps me busy. I'm a non smoker/drinker. Will only drink on very rare social occasions. I have an indoor cat who is extreamly friendly and an indoor caged small bunny. With these pets i would prefer a master bedroom with ensuit so i can ensure the kitty litter is out of your sight. I'm neat and tidy and enjoy living in a clean environment. Family orrientated so there will be occasions where they pop in for a cuppa or something to eat. For fun I will generally go to the football, concerts or out for dinner. I'm easy to get along with, open personality so if there is something that bothers you I'm happy to take it on board to make sure it doesnt happen again. Items i currently have for a house: washing maching (front loader about 7kg), L shaped lounge that has storage and can turn into a double bed, TV cabinet, all kitchen essentials including a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and outdoor setting. Looking for a team up and someone that is happy to live with pets.
Hey there! My name is Steph, and I'm a full time Masters student, studying speech pathology at Flinders University. I enjoy cooking and baking, sewing, pottering around in the garden, watching TV, and exploring new places. I'm newish to Adelaide, so at least there's plenty for me to explore! I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a furnished house. I have a full set of bedroom furniture, a few small kitchen appliances, and I can also contribute a 50 TV (or if there's no space, I'm happy to rehome it). I'd like to live with 1-3 other people who are interested in hanging out together at home every now and then. I'll be out at uni or placement for full days pretty much every day of the week, so I'm not looking for a house that's party central, but I would love to hang out on a friday evening and catch up over a cheeky beverage.
Hi! I'm Prashanth, a young professional making the move from Brisbane, where I've lived for the past 8 years, to Adelaide to start a new role. I'm a scientist by background and worked in research before making the move into newer territory with the aforementioned role. I love playing soccer and generally trying to keep fit but that competes with my general liking for nice coffees, good food and the occasional glass of wine or a craft beer. I also love going out to watch live music, quality films and sports. I also enjoy conversing about most things in the world. I'm well versed in the sharing game and have shared houses with all types of folks. I'm outgoing but understand the importance of personal space as well. I'm clean without being a clean freak and wash up after myself. I'm looking for a place in North Adelaide (mainly because of the convenient commute to my work) or its immediate surrounds. I'm moving at the end of the month from Brisbane and start my new job in the first week of July. Looking forward to chatting with you!
I'm a fun easy going person that loves a good chat and a drink as a bit of quiet time. I'm respectful of others, and mature. I work full time which includes shift work and I'm looking for a housemate to team up with as I currently live alone and would love to save some money and meet new people :)
Hello! My name is Mahalia, I am looking for a great person or people to team up with to find a great new place. However I am also open to moving into an already established place :) I am easy to get along with, have traveled the world, super friendly and work hard in my job, so keep busy - but also love a chat here and there :) Love my family and friends, and like to be around like minded individuals who are easy going, respectful, enjoy a laugh and know what banter is! I have some furniture, hence why I am looking for team up option also :) Open to difference locations and people, as long as you don't mind having my dog live at the place potentially full time or part time. He is a beautiful dog, Bear (Samoyed x Husky) super trained and is quiet and keeps to himself (no barking, and you'll fall in love with him). I cook, clean and keep active and have lived with many different personalities :) Would love to hear from you! Thank you
I am a cook. Most of time spending at work. On my days off I love cooking. In spare time at home I mostly read. I do some exercises and stretches in a mornings. I love cooking for other people and my job made a bit of clean freak.
I'm 25 and a fun-loving guy who's easy going. I like going out but I also love chilling, when I can. Currently working full-time in the city. Looking for a happy and friendly household. I'm independent but also enjoy sharing a meal or two or going out together every now and then. If you like wine and cheese, we'll get along just fine! (:
25-year-old engineer currently working full time. Laid back and clean, looking for somewhere to live close to the city. Hobbies: Hiking, guitar, live music, running - long distance
I am a full time student and spend most of my time studying, volunteering, or resting. I'm a respectful and friendly introvert; I will happily help around the house and chat over some food, but also respect and appreciate personal space. I'm comfortable living with either pets or no pets, and generally pretty easy going.
I'm very easy to get along with and like to interact with people. I am quite a social person as well, usually out on the weekend or visiting friends and family in Melbourne. I am financially stable. I work in the city and at Burnside so I'm not home a lot during the day and some weekends.
Hi future housemate! I am looking for a house to move into. It is exciting times for me as im moving into the next chapter of my life. I am hoping to find a great house/housemate to add to my exciting new changes. I am 25 year old and lived in 5 different countries so I know a thing or two how to get along with diverse people and extremely open minded. I love to watch a movie or enjoy dinner together with my housemate but also enjoy my own relaxing time. Please if you think you have the perfect house for me, don't hesitate to send me a message.
3 things: baking 🍰, biking 🚴, and being chill. I have been living on my own in the lovely suburb of Redfern in Sydney for almost two years. The usual life stuff is easy to handle for me - things like bills get paid on time, the rubbish will be wheeled out, the dishes will never be left sitting in the sink. I studied architecture but am now working in the film business as a set designer. My other hobbies include fine art, learning German (Ja, ich kann natürlich mit dir reden) and Netflix (would love to be the next Ultimate Beastmaster). I'm a bit nerdy but an easy going person generally.
Any Area East, South preferred, happy to move further away from the city, clean and non-smoker, drug free, alcohol occasionally, non interfering, single, happy to help around house work, walking, like to travel, looking for 3 months plus.
Hello, my name’s Erin. I’m a single, non-smoking, 26-year-old working full time in HR. Currently living alone in North Adelaide but my lease is ending in December and financially living alone is taking it’s toll so back to sharing I go at the end of the year. I’m a friendly and very clean housemate who is very considerate and respectful of others space. I would describe myself as a homebody who doesn’t really go out all that much but I do like a drink (hello Wino Wednesday’s). I spend most weekends either catching up with my fam when I can (have three gorgeous nieces), catching up with friends, heading to gigs or binge-Netflixing Not much of a cook unfortunately (packet pasta is life) but cleaning is where my strengths lie. I do have my own bedroom furniture and other bits and pieces (small couch, lounge chair, bookshelf etc.) but happy to consider selling/putting in storage however would really prefer an unfurnished bedroom. I realise I’ve started my search quite early but I like to see what’s out there – plus I’m getting keen to move since I currently have no oven, no heating and a hot water service that lasts 5 minutes and paying through the teeth! Oh being an adult is such fun. This experience however has taught me to be super power conscious which I think is a positive and I am a house proud person so looking for someone likeminded. Ps. I have a dry sense of humour and a hideous laugh – these are definitely things to consider as a potential housemate haha. Anywho, that’s enough about me. Ask me any questions, or let me know about your place if you think I’d make a good fit. Looking for a place to call home and hopefully make a new friend :)
Hi there, I am looking for a room with own bathroom, toilet and under cover parking facilities. I am an Australian citizen working overseas. I will be back to Adelaide on 1st of August 2017. I am 41 years old, single male. Like to live a quiet peacefull private life. Easily I don't make friends. I respect others, looking for the same for me. My maximum budget is AUD 200 per week inclusive of all utility charges. I will arrange my own internet connection. If that also available, I am happy to share. I will cook my own food. So, I need that facilities too. If anyone have to offer me the above, please email me. Also, I am happy to team-up and rent a property as a team. If it is not too much I am asking, please email me, what you have to offer. Thanks.
