I am a consistent person, which means I don't fail on the rent and I don't flake on plans with other tenants (if any) I'm clean and tidy, I especially love a clean kitchen and like to keep my stuff neat to avoid undue stress in a household as the kitchen is the most shared place in a house. I love talking to people and hanging out but I also understand the need for space, and I myself enjoy my privacy and quiet time. I believe I'm a responsible housemate and encourage open communication between all tenants to make sure everybody is happy with living arrangements. I have a membership for a gym but don't go as often as I should be, I'm trying to eat healthier and eat less halal snack packs and maccas, I study Environmental Science, International Relations and Professional and Creative Writing and am really excited for Summer and going to the beach. On a quiet night I enjoy playing a couple video games here and there but work mostly nights at Hoyts at the moment. And that's me! I'm open to more of a chat to see if I'm a good fit for you so hit me up :)
I am a young professional who is seeking a room at a house somewhere in the eastern suburbs. I consider myself to be a quiet, independent person who is easy to live with. I like to keep active during the week and play various sports on the weekends, but I still like some downtime to relax and have a beer or two. If you feel as if I am the right fit for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. Hope to speak soon!
I'm moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Mildura. I've got previous experience housesharing both here and in Adelaide and am looking forward to getting back into a share house after renting on my own in Mildura. I'm from the UK originally, moving to Australia at 21. I have a solid, full-time government job and in my spare time I enjoy going out, doing interesting stuff and travelling. I'd be great to live with as I'm a relatively low-maintenance housemate, I enjoy a laugh and having a good convo, but I have enough of my own interests that I won't be a pain. Bills and rent will be paid on time, cleaning will be done and a good time will be had by all!
My name is Alix. Originally from France, I am 22 years old and working full time as a Receptionist. I am easy going and friendly. Respectful and mindfull of peoples own space, I am not difficult to live with! I am not a party animal and usually love keeping things quiet during the week and weekend. Although i am not a hermit and love exploring on the weekends. I am looking for somewhere to share preferably with a girl! Or a couple.
I'm currently a student at Monash, looking for somewhere to live that's closer to the city. I've rented before, so I'm no stranger to cleaning schedules/respecting privacy/keeping noise down etc. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out salsa dancing, see movies/watch Netflix, or just get out of the house and do some sightseeing. I've lived in Melbourne all my life but I like to get out and about. I work casually in retail (10-20 hours a week), and also work at the MCG. I've never had a paying meeting my rent, but wanted to be upfront about my employment situation.
I am an easy going and cheerful person, who enjoys the outdoors. I am happy to socialise or keep to myself, whatever works. I am clean and respectful of others spaces. I am a young professional looking to move out of home closer to the city (inner-east) to commence my graduate job in the Melbourne CBD, available to move in late January 2017.
Hey, mates, I am a clean and respectful housemate, rent is always paid on time :) I student at Monash University Caulfield campus. I keep myself engaged with work. And indulge in a healthy and active lifestyle. And I love to socialize and make new friends on weekends. I am great Study Partner and Gym Trainer, and i love to Cook food. Enjoy traveling places on weekends. Hiking ,trekking , road trips etc. Adrenaline Junkie , foodie and early bird.
I am fun and bubbly, I love meeting new people and socializing. I am passionate about photography and good food, I love to be active, I love exercising as it fills me with the sense of achievement when I reach specific goals I set for myself, I am currently training for INBA in March so my diet is very nutritious. I love to make people feel good, as it makes me feel equally good to see someone smile. I am a clean freak and I love everything to be tidy so I need to be living with people who will be respectful of communal areas and keep them clean and tidy. I don't like partying, I don't drink and I don't smoke. I don't like pets in the house but I love dogs :) I am a full time worker on a contract so payments won't be an issue. I will also need parking as I have my own car and I also have my own double bed. Need a place to move into by mid January preferably around Oakleigh, Clarinda areas. Dont want to pay more than 170. If you have hardly any photos of the house and room available please dont even bother messaging me
Hey, I'm a recently single gay 23 man. I work full time in Arts Administration at State Library Victoria. I like to keep very busy with hobbies and activities, as a result I'm not home too often and do not make much mess or take up space in the house. I'm often doing things like performing in amateur musical theatre, writing music and swimming for fitness, and I like to see live theatre as much as I can. I love to cook and like to be a host. I love small low-key get togethers with a few of my closest friends. I know I'm pretty young but I'm very mature for my age. Most of my friends are in their 30s. I'm fun and outgoing but very polite and respectful. I like to meet new people so send me a message :)
Hey everyone. I'm a friendly and easy going guy. Love my sport and fitness, socialising and a bit of house hold banter. I work full time in finance so bills and rent won't be an issue, and I like to keep my house pretty tidy. Looking to team up and share a 3 bedroom house in the Malvern area with at least a small garden for my two little jack Russell's (rusty and spike - they love humans). Looking for someone friendly, and easy going. I have my 7 year old son 5 nights a fortnight (including every second weekend). He's a great little kid, and he's very well mannered, so if having a 7 year old floating around the house from time to time sounds ok to you, then we'll get along fine! I'd be looking to take one bedroom for me, and the smallest bedroom for Ethan, you take the largest bedroom and we split the rent 60% (me) / 40% (you), kind of deal, if that seems fair. I also come with all major household items... fridge, washer, dryer, 60 inch LED tv, couches, etc
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! I need somewhere with a backyard / some form of a grassed area that I can easily access to take the dogs out to the toilet. They often wake me up during the night to take them out so apartments above ground floor are not suitable :( About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. I genuinely end up caring about the people I live with and like to create a chilled, homely environment, stress free. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever your poison, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people.
Hi guys, I'm an easy going, professional and mature person. Love cooking and wine while being neat and tidy and respecting other people's personal space. I currently run my own business and love riding my motorbike out to the beach when it's hot. Big fan of health & fitness and paddle boarding.

Hi I'm Bella (intl - S.A) and I'm looking for a place to stay with my partner, James (local - Melb). We're both working part-time, and studying full time. Saying that, we don't really have a lot of free time, but when we do, we just like to take it easy, such as watching a movie or just chilling with friends/house mates. Looking for an unfurnished room, as we have furniture for our room already. We're not really party crazy kind of people, but we're more than happy to have dinner or chill out with a board game or two with you or binge watch a series to two. We're clean, responsible, and easy going :)
I am turning 25 in Nov, a musician working in a full-time professional IT job. In terms of lifestyle, I am hygienic, a minimalist and clean after myself. I am looking for a social house to call home, but understand everyone needs some down time.
Hi I'm Christina. I'm originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne to start a Masters in early 2016. I've lived out of home since I was 18, so I know how to clean up after myself and be a considerate housemate. I love spending time with family and friends, binge watching shows on Netflix and exploring new places. As a housemate, I like my own space, but I also like to hang out and have a meal together or watch a movie. I'm looking for a furnished or unfurnished room (preferably with a private bathroom) around the Clayton/Oakleigh/Chadstone area and would want to move in December.
Im a full time carpenter so I'm up early and home early some days, bonus is i'm pretty handy and can fix just about anything. I am non-smoker and not a partier. No dependanxts or pets and like to keep a clean living environment. I am looking for a room in the suburbs east of St kilda that is clean with like another like-minded flatmate.

Hi All, Jack (dog) and I are weighing up our options for the end of the year - we're looking for a nice place to call home for the foreseeable future and lovely, laid-back people to share with. Last year I went back to uni full time studying design (Swinburne) so I'm usually either at uni or working from home, I also run a little bakery business on the side. Outside of this, I keep busy with friends/hobbies/life/dog/relaxing. Over the years I've lived in a few different share houses so am well versed in flatmate etiquette and am always reliable with rent. I come with great airbnb, uber and personal references. Looking to either join an existing flatmate family or find people to start one up. In terms of location, I'm really flexible and open to different options - I'm in Balaclava at the moment but happy to consider going more Hawthorn direction and closer to uni. If you have a similar time frame (Nov/Dec move) and are interested in joining forces to look for a place then get in touch. Similarly, if you already have a place and you think we might be the right human/dog combo for you then we'd love to hear from you. Jack Bio/FAQ: Jack (Russell) is around 3 years old and a shy little fella. At home, he splits his time between following me around and waiting for me to come home. He's housetrained and very quiet. He'll bark at the doorbell once he's learnt what it sounds like but he's just trying to help us out. He does have little white furs which sometimes fall out but don't worry because we come as a package deal with an excellent dyson vacuum and take care of it.
Friendly, happy, funny people. Always up for a chat perhaps even a drink. Other than that when we're not working we like to hang out in our room and watch movies or listen to music. Both clean respectful people, whom are very easy to communicate with. Looking for a private room, close to the city. A private bathroom as well would be an awsome extra. And hey if its turns out you dont like us you can enjoy the company of our 8 month old kitten Tinkerbell!
Im an easy going person always up for a chat and a laugh. I like to keep my place clean and friendly. I like to keep fit and try and get to a workout in a few times a week, i also have a 3yr old border collie x kelpie named Jack he is friendly and loves a pat and a walk lol.
Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
Hi everyone! I just returned from living in India and travelling around Asia for the last year. I was previously studying science and engineering at Monash Uni, but now am changing courses and universities next year. I currently study by distance through Open University, so I will be a study bug some of the time, but I love the odd wine and cheese night as well. I'm happy to make friends with whoever I live with, but I am independent so if you'd rather mostly keep to yourself, I am ok with that too. I am staying with friends as I just arrived back a couple of weeks ago, so finding something furnished where I could move in ASAP would be ideal. Thanks!
I grew up living in rural Victoria, currently at boarding school in Ballarat. Wanting to move to Melbourne for 6-7 months before my Uni course in Adelaide starts in July 2017. Living in a boarding house has allowed me to grow respect for other's belongings, space and needs, so I feel I would be a valuable asset in a prospective share house. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, hockey, netball and swimming.
Hi! Kelly here. I like to keep busy by filling my brain with information, being a greenthumb, making tasty food, and enjoying the glorious things mother nature and human innovation has to offer. I enjoy/do in spare time: eating food (a lot. i'm vegetarian and try to eat healthy - try!), admiring trees (study Horticulture), cooking/baking, watching docos/obscure tv shows, looking after house plants, finding new bars, playing board games, hitting the road, finding new music and reading. I have also recently added badminton to the list which is pretty blimmen cool!! I am very considerate of others and like to keep communal areas clean. I can be a quiet housemate at times, so not looking for a party house, but in saying that it would be cool to have meals, chats and card games together! My little furry friend is Charli Tuna (named after one of my favourite rappers). He's an older rescue cat, had him about 2 years. Loves attention, cuddles and is pretty talkative. Not your typical 'don't ever touch me' cat. that's kinda me in a nutshell? :)
I'm studying a Graduate Diploma of Reproductive Science at Monash University starting Feb 2017. I'm moving over to Melbourne from Adelaide toward the end of January or beginning of February. I'll be studying full-time and will probably be at the university for a majority of the week. I'd love to live with housemates that are able to have a laugh together and be able to have their own space as well. Would prefer to live with a non-smoker and another student.
Steph is a Graphic Design graduate and Troy is a Industrial Design student. We both have jobs working in a deli and hospitality respectively. We have two pets, Freddie and Crackles, who are our little darlings. They are small, cage animals and are the sweetest, friendliest and cleanest little things. We love board games, the beach, family and being with our friends. One of our favourite things to do is share meals with friends/flatmates, Steph often brings home goodies from the deli. Steph has lived out of home for 8 years and Troy, part-time, for 2. We are both hard workers and are clean and easy-going. We both have travelled quite a bit and love sharing stories about our adventures, we'd love to hear about your adventures too. In our spare time we enjoy watching netflix and having a few bevs, going out for food is always a welcome suggestion too. Troy likes playing video games as well and is happy to share his consoles (N64, Xbox 360, Xbox One) and variety of games. Steph is often working on a project but loves reading and handicraft, her pinterest page is her pride and joy.
