Returning to Sydney after a year of living off the land out in country NSW... maybe not that extreme, but coming back to the city and starting the search for roof over my head :) I'm pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, can be fairly quiet and focused on either work or study, but if I'm in a bit of an energetic mood it's either out scuba diving or catching up with friends (so not making any big ruckus at home) Can be a decent cook when the mood strikes, enjoy a quiet catch-up amongst friends and have been known to binge on Netflix from time to time. I'm not really locked into looking for anything too specific - I'm pretty open to options, though I do have some ideals/preferences in what I'm looking for: * A self-contained studio/apartment/granny flat - I do enjoy my own space, but maybe wishful thinking * Close to public transport - as long as there is an easy route to get to Central, I don't mind a longer train trip * Close to the water - I tend to dive a lot around Cronulla and Botany, so this is a bit of a nice-to-have * Own bathroom - would definitely be a perk There are only 2 points that a critical for me: * Private room * The ability for friends to visit and hang out - I'm not a party-person, but I have noticed some listings that indicate visitors are not welcome at all - I'd like to be part of a home, not a ward. All that said, I'm pretty open to all possibilities :) I'm interested in a long-term home more than a short-term stay, but I'm open to options.
Hey guys, Best way to describe me is the good kind of weird, I'm bundle of collected energy that's surprisingly tidy as fuck. I like to party on the occasion however usually I just slump around on my days off. I work 5 - 6 days a week so you'll be lucky to catch me at home lol. Trying to quit drinking and smoking so that's not really an issue. Any questions hit me up (:
Hello everyone, my name is Britta, I am 26 years old and from Germany. I am about to start working as a legal assistant at a lawyers office in Sydney. I am a reliable, happy, open minded, clean and quiet person who is looking for a place to stay, as I have been traveling for a few months now and can not wait to have a real home again. My hobbies are Photography, Yoga and Hiking and I have been in Australia already 10 months in total now. I love the Sea, Sydney itself and I love to cook. I leave shared places like the bathroom or the kitchen as I find them and my own room will always be tidy. I am looking for like minded people to have a great time with and who respect privacy at the same time.
Hi there! My name is Phoebe, I am a 28 yo professional, working in the Northern beaches. I am currently looking for a room to rent, preferably in the beautiful suburb of Manly :) I am sociable and active, often keeping busy throughout the week and weekends, although I do love a bit of downtime also. I love animals (especially dogs), hiking, rock climbing, yoga and socialising with friends. I am tidy and respectful, and would ideally be looking for accommodation for a 6 month period (minimum).
Always happy to chat but also like having chilled out times reading, listening to music and whatnot. Work in the arts sector so enjoy all things creative, plus beach, tasty foods and wines, walking in the park, chatting with cats and dogs, all that jazz :) Looking for a share house from March onwards while my partner heads to the UK for work in 2017, currently living in Newtown.
I'm a decent cook and am happy to share, I enjoy a little daily debrief with a beer or a vino and occasionally hanging with my house mates, I'm tidy and a damn good baker. I work 7-5 Mon-Thur in North Sydney, I'm fairly active playing the sports and doing the things so I'm in and out of home but also enjoy my home relax time. Anything else just ask!
I am a Canadian moving to Sydney to complete a Master in Marine Science and Management at the University of Sydney. I am very easy-going, enjoy a clean house (I procrasticlean), and love social roommates! I love everything outdoors, particularly the ocean, as you can probably tell from my masters choice. I am always keen for some adventure, so if you are down for a good hike or some surfing, I think we could be great friends! In Canada I play ice hockey, and lacrosse, but I am hoping to try my hand at rugby once in Sydney. As a housemate, I enjoy a casual beer, a good cup of tea, baking, dancing, and the occasional family dinner!
I'm a very optimistic and easy going person! Always trying to get along well and looking at the brightside of life :) I have no problems on dealing with differences, and I guess that respect is the key for that. I try my best to be organised and adapt to the rules of the places that I live in.
Hi! Moving to Sydney from Melbourne for work and looking for a place close to public transport for about 6-12months. Pretty easy going, happy to share a drink and chat but also respect privacy. Would like to live somewhere clean and tidy :)
A certified gun at washing dishes. Tidy and respectful. Very easy-going. Likes sport and gym. Financially stable. Consumes beer and scotch. Originally from Sydney. Hoping to find one or two like minded fellas to share with. I'd love to be close to a train station so I can conveniently get into the city for my 9-5.
I'm an engineer working in technical marketing. Recently moved to Sydney from Manila but I’m not exactly new to Australia. I'm easy going, clean and very sociable but I like have private time also. I do a bit of photography and filmmaking on the side so I’m pretty much preoccupied on weekdays. Weekends are spent outdoors or hibernating at home. Prefer to find a room in an apartment but I’m also down to team up to start a new lease. I’m flexible with move in dates as I have only a week’s notice period right now. Cheers!
My partner and I are looking for a bedroom, ideally with our own bathroom/ensuite. We are both full-time working professionals in Sydney. We are as clean and tidy as they come, don't watch too much TV or party (promise we aren't boring though)!
I am 20 years old and work in the performing arts. I am looking for a room from late January until the end of March. I'm very tidy, easy-going and chill to live with, always happy for a chat but also respect people's space!
Hi there, I'm a 26 yrs old from London. Just started a new job at a Digital Ad Agency here in Sydney. I've put 3 month stay down here, but could def do longer if things go well. I'm super relaxed. Just want to surf, do some outdoorsy stuff, socialise, and generally have a lovely time around work while I'm here. Staying with friends in Surrey Hills for a couple of weeks at the moment, but in the interests of not overstaying my welcome, I'm keen to get the ball rolling haha. I should probably be out of here by end of Jan if poss. Up for teaming up and finding somewhere, or slipping into an established house : ) Ty
Moving to Sydney for work. I'm tidy, reliable and a decent cook (if I do say so myself). Looking for housemates with an apartment or meeting other people who'd like to team-up to get an apartment. Guys/girls, it doesn't matter - as long as you're friendly and fun to live with.
Hey! 23, Full-time bartender, Part-time student, actively looking for places and also people to room with, ideally one person but will room with 2. Looking for a modern decor place that's pet friendly as I have a 1-yr old kitten who is super playful and affectionate. I'm very active and go to the gym frequently, very sporty, easy to get along with and is willing to cook and share meals whenever. Don't smoke Enjoy the occasional drink and a night out but can also love staying in and chilling out. Usually work weekends but can work day or night shifts. Let me know if you're interested in looking for places or have an offer for me Kindly appreciated. Cheers.
Hello, I am Irish guy ( been here 5 years now) looking to move from Marrickville as our lease is up shortly. I am easy going, friendly, non smoker, like to get out and about and explore over the weekends, I am always up to something. Very clean and happy to chip in with cleaning duties too ( or contribute to a cleaner as well) Looking for a large single or double room. If you would like any more info just ask. John
I'm a bright and friendly fine arts student (formerly student of science/arts), love to ride my bike around and go for walks and weekend adventures. I generally keep my work contained to the studio and leave home as a place to wind down, but still love to create things as much as I can. I'm quiet though still a social creature. Love meeting new people and learning new things about the world.
I am a responsible, respectful, mindful, neat & tidy, social person, that is full of positive energy (Very much aware of giving people their private space too). I am independent, recently moved to Sydney from Byron Bay. I am a professional person working in the Humanatarian sector, located in the CBD. (Traditional working hours). I am into health and fitness, love my coffee, dinning out and travelling. As you would expect there is a lot more about me, send me a message I am very approachable and very young at heart. I have selected 3 months, however would prefer longer - all parties need to have a probation! :)
Hi! I'm 22 years old, working full time in the CBD. Looking for a place in Manly close to the Ferry and open to sharing. Massive surfer, into my photography & I love my classic cars. Neat & Tidy, pretty mellow, not a massive drinker but don't mind a beer or wine here and there, love and oldie but a goodie tune too.
Hello! My name is Samantha and I am an Australian living in Sydney at the moment looking to move out. I have lived by myself before and look forward to meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and sexualities. Mind you if we're both Australian then there's nothing wrong with some snags on the barby! I am not a party animal and often I will either be working or studying at University. I am in the final years of my degree, looking to move out and spread my metaphorical wings. I come from a background of English and Spanish descendants and happy to help around the house and I am very respectful of other room mates. I am easy-going and friendly, although because I like to read I can be mistaken as being rather shy at times. I like to relax after work either with others or with a good book. I like to cook for others including myself and pride myself on cleaning up the kitchen afterwards. I think the housework chores ideally are taken on my everybody and I am not impartial to celebrating life special moments, for myself and others. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you're having a great day. See you soon, roommate!
Hey there, i'm a 22 year old (male) paramedic who has just moved up from the south coast and i'm looking for some a new home in Sydney that i can use as a base to go out an explore all the exciting things this amazing city has to offer! Im a pretty clean boy, and a generally low maintenance house mate that is always up for a chat and a good catch up! If you are nice enough to adopt me you are totally invited to everywhere i go! Don't let me be homeless, please!
I have been working in London for the past 4 years for Estée Lauder and Harrods. I am returning to a new position at Waringah Mall. As a result I need somewhere in walking distance to the beach, shops and transport to work, not limited to Brookvale, however Sydney has a great network of trains and buses. I'm an easy going non smoker, cook, clean and all that boring stuff, the odd glass of wine with a meal, clean and tidy. I enjoy Jazz, fine food and come complete without baggage, well my suitcase.
I've just moved out of my place in erskineville and have approximately 3/4 of the stuff to fill a home with good times. This includes a sexy couch, a record player, white goods, far too many glasses and a few tables. Missing: chairs, TV and probably a garlic crusher (for all the delicious garlic bread). Looking for a person or people to team up with and move into a new place. Alternatively I'd be keen to move into a great, ready-made place where I can ditch my furniture for cash to fund my chicken nugget needs.
I am friendly, clean and considerate as a housemate. Although busy with work and study, I still love a glass or wine and chat in the evening. I moved to Sydney 4 months ago from Brisbane, and am looking for a new place as the owners are moving back to Australia. I love a good movie night in, or a night out dancing when not studying!
Hey guys! My name is Ren. I am a friendly and tidy aussie girl who works full-time. I am looking for an easy-going and social sharehouse/flatshare somewhere in the Warringah/Manly area. I don't really mind how many housemates I have but I am looking to make some new friends around the same age as me! I love to hang out and chat or even have a few drinks/a night out/other fun adventures. Let me know if you have anything :)
Easy going, sporty PE teacher on the northern beaches. I enjoy watching and playing heaps of sports and don't mind a drink every now and then.. Looking for a place to to live where I can relax and continue living on the beaches..
I'm easy to get along with, like to keep clean, clean environment - clear mind. I've studied personal training and currently looking for a job in the industry! So I like to keep active which includes gym, hikes, swimming and random activities every now and then! Been a vegetarian since I was 7, so big animal lover! Loves music :) Like to stay busy but also appreciate my time to relax and chill out with my pooch Bentley. Enjoys going out and having a drink or a dance every now and then but don't live for it like I use to 😋
Hi all I'm a 28 yo Aussie physio recently returned from living and working in London. Looking to find something close to work in the Manly area. I'm a pretty easy going and tidy housemate and have spent the last four years flat sharing with no problems . I'm into the beach, staying fairly active, exploring new areas and finding a nice spot for a beer on the weekends, but also doesn't mind chilling at home on occasion I am also starting some postgraduate uni work so will be fairly busy throughout the week.
I'm friendly and get on with most people, but a little bit introverted. Tidy up after myself and have a clean room. Love the beach, like to cook and don't mind sharing. would like to move in with people I can be friends with. I work a lot so will be in and out the house. I have some furniture that takes up space like a fridge, chair & futon, outside table and some little things like glasses & mugs I've been collecting. Hello, My name's Camilla, I'm a 26 year old Event Coordinator in London and I'm relocating to Sydney in November to experience Aussie life. I travelled Aus for six weeks about two years ago and fell in love with Sydney so I'm super excited to come back out for much longer! I'm very chilled out, highly sarcastic and will throw a 'Friends' quote on on pretty much a daily basis. I'll be working in a similar industry once I get out here so I'm looking for like-minded people to share with; I'd love to find some people who are a joy to live with (is that too much to ask?!), up for a laugh and enjoy telling tales of our days over some good food and a glass of wine. I'll throw out the standard 'flatmate hunting' tagline but it's true - I love a raucous night out as much as chilling in my pjs with a good movie. I'm a lover of stationery (how much of my inner geek do I reveal at this stage...), festivals, Grey's Anatomy, dancing (only when aided by alcohol), and orange smarties. Seriously, they just taste better than all the rest. Oh and I'm like the tidiest person in the world (think Monica in Friends) so no need to worry about the place being a mess! C x
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional on-call. I'm British but have permanent residency on Australia. I'm looking for a housemate that could also be a friend. I'm pretty laid back generally - like my quiet nights at home but also love to entertain and have the odd night out. I also want to get a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
I'm Thomas, 33 years old and originally from Belgium. Been living in Sydney since July 2015 (I have PR). I work in IT in Alexandria, currently cycling to work and I'd like to keep it that way! I love watching and playing sports (play soccer twice a week), tv, movies, games, socialising, drinking,... I have a good social life at the moment, I don't usually do much after work except for sports but I regularly meet up with friends for drinks on the weekend. I'm pretty easy going, I like my privacy but I also like to have a chat with people at my current house.

Friendly, easy-going, tidy and respectable. Originally from the North of England and recently made the move to Sydney working full-time in digital marketing in CBD. Currently living in Manly but totally open to moving more into the city too. Likes: spending time with friends, being outdoors and keeping fit (running, barre, Pilates), watching sport, travel, all kinds of music, bad jokes, Louis Theroux documentaries balanced out with a bit of trash TV, good food and a good G&T or espresso martini. Looking to live with likeminded girls and guys who are social, like to have a laugh and can catch up over dinner or a drink but also appreciate me-time and respect each other's space too.
Hi, I'm a relaxed, independent, easygoing girl. I love to travel and explore new places. My current housemate is moving out soon so I'm trying to decide if I stay in our current unit in Collaroy and find a new housemate to fill her spot (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom) or move into a new share house/unit. I'm full time shift worker so am looking for a housemate who understands that sometimes I need to sleep during the day. I love living close to the beach. I like the house to be clean and tidy and would ideally like a housemate that is easy to get along with and up for the occasional wine, breakfast or dinner out, or walk together.

We are looking for house mates who are also studying or working full-time to join our small family. We are originally from Coffs Harbour but have both been renting in Sydney for two years. Savannah is in her third year of Veterinary Science at USYD and I am in my second year of Chinese Medicine at UTS. We like to have a quite, clean and homey environment to keep on top of our busy schedules. We love to have a good time and enjoy socialising over some casual drinks, a good movie night or a yummy meal but we would prefer to keep the house party free. If you think you could be our third amigo, we would love to hear from you! Just send us a message xx
