Moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work in economics/finance. I'm tidy, reliable, generally pretty laid back. I like to keep busy but also like my downtime with a crossword and always keen for a couple of wines. Hit me up if you have a room or want to team up!
Hey, I'm Jules and my partner is Joe. For the past 7 months we've been travelling around South East Asia together, before heading to Australia last month. We are both from the UK and are currently on a working holiday visa and have chosen to settle down in lovely Sydney. We're both tidy, fun and outgoing people who love to socialise but also love a bit of peace and quiet and to wind down at the end of the day with the occasional bottle of wine! Joe works full-time as an electrician (so is very handy around the house) and I am currently looking for a job either in hospitality or marketing.
I have recently graduated from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand and I am moving to Sydney to start a new full-time job as a software developer. In my free time I love to play sport (volleyball, netball, tennis) and play music (tenor saxophone, though my workplace has a music room so I will play it there!). I would be keen to join a flat that enjoys spending time together. I have lived in multiple shared houses in the past, so I am used to living with others and helping to look after shared spaces. I am looking for a room that would ideally be less than an hour's commute to Darling Harbour, where I will be working. Although I'm not moving until the 28th of February, I would be open to securing a place and paying rent earlier than this date. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Hannah
Hey! I'm Etienne. I'm a happy go lucky character with a good sense of humor, I work full time in construction six days a week so im barely home if not i'm most likely at the beach. I also am very clean and tidy and also i have a great understanding of being a respectful flatmate. I've come across the ditch from New Zealand! Most my enjoyment comes from Surfing,Reading,Sports and meeting and getting to know others! Feel free to send me a message :)
Hi there, I am looking for another female to share a 2 bedroom apartment with me, I'm worldly, mature, fun, and extremely easy going. Previously a make-up artist however i now work full time in office administration in the CBD. I am not set on any location as long as its near the city, i enjoy reading, a great film, a great soundtrack, a glass of wine, and the water. Cheers, S. Xo
I am recent USYD Masters grad, now working full-time at the university as an IT professional. I have been in Sydney for 3 years now, originally from Delhi, India. An outdoor fanatic, so you'd find me indulging in hiking, rock climbing, beach hopping etc on the weekends. My weekdays are pretty packed with work, but I do love socialising during the evenings after work. Well, I love globetrotting, ideas, curiosity, exploration and adventures. I like to start things, be it companies, initiatives, causes - and then love the adrenaline rush that comes with it. I have had the absolute pleasure to have globetrotted solo to cities like – New York, San Francisco, Dubai, Los Angeles and Shanghai to name a few. I love connecting with new people, hearing about interesting ideas, and their stories. I have shared houses in the past, so I am well adept with maintaining clean shared spaces and kitchen areas. I am looking for a single room (fully furnished) in the inner city suburbs, preferably closer to the University of Sydney, and looking for a 1+ year lease. Looking forward to hearing soon or potentially teaming up to lease a place together. Thanks, Kritika
Hi everyone! We’re looking for three separate private rooms. We’re a group of three friends who met and lived together in New Zealand. Michelle and I are both from Belgium, we met when we were studying microbiology at university. Daniel is from Germany and he is an amazing chef. We’re very tidy and respectful people. We’re not party animals but love to have a family dinner occasionally or some drinks.
*Only interested in places near the beach/ocean views please :)* Hello! I’m a kiwi girl who has been living in Australia for the last 6 years. Currently working full-time in Finance - St Leonard’s for a Creative Agency. Also studying Accounting & Finance 3 nights a week this entire year so will be pretty busy!! I'm a super tidy/house-proud, positive, respectful & motivated person who gets on with anyone and everyone! No dramas here :) In my spare time I love to cook, beach, boat, wine, travel, exercise & go on weekend adventures. Absolutely love food so enjoy heading out on the weekends & finding new, amazing joints. I have a great home/weekend party balance (can also be a nana so not keen on a party house) & am very easy-going. I do have a car so need a parking spot!
Hi Everyone! I'm Manda, a 23 year old female moving to Sydney for the first time to start full time work in an accounting firm in the CBD. I am currently based in Canberra, but grew up in Adelaide. I like to be social, but also like my own downtime and am respectful of other people's personal space. I am looking for a private room in a clean and non-smoking house with flatmates similar to my age. I love cooking, shopping, watching TV series, yoga and going out to restaurants and concerts. Feel free to send me a message if you think I would be a good fit for your property!
My name is Sam and I'm a 28 year old, Australian female working professional. I work in IT in the CBD as a software tester. I've lived in share houses for over 10 years. I'm clean, a non smoker and not a party animal. I'm looking for a share room, up to $250 per week, with NO BUNKBEDS, MAX 2 people per room and that's within a 30 minute walk to 201 Elizabeth st, please send me a google maps link of the walking directions and tell me a bit about why I should consider joining your share house. OR My own unfurnished room within a 10 minute walk of Ashfield Station. P.S. I will also consider places within a 20 minute cycle of 201 Elizabeth st I recently broke my ankle (I fell off a wall doing indoor bouldering/rock climbing) and I'm non weight bearing until March (basically on crutches/knee scooter). I can move in sooner but it would be very hard for me to do so. I currently live in Ashfield and I would need to give 2 weeks notice before moving. I ride a motorbike, if you have parking available for it that would be an added bonus. I like to bake, brew beer and make things. I value sustainable living and could get behind a community vegie garden. I play trombone and could also get into a swing dancing or a swing band. Why would an Aussie gal be looking for a share room? Basically I want to live close to work and get on top of my credit card debt. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi there, I'm a 2nd year Design Computing student at USYD. I'm 20 in February and have worked casual and full time for many years. I'm looking for a fun and friendly sharehouse to join. I'm neat, tidy and respectable. Can cook a mean spag bol and is used to cleaning up after myself. Always up for some netflix and love having a chat over a few drinks but respect the need for personal space. Enjoy going out occasionally but what I love even more is eating out, would love a foodie friend to share food experience with but that would just be a bonus. I also have an intense love for dogs so if you have one that would just be the cherry on top.
Hey there, I’m Kristin and I’m definitely the absolute best person when it comes to doing dishes. Haha. Super easy going and don’t mind a chat and a beer but also going to focuse on my studies a lot this year. I’m 24 years old and about to start studying a course at Australian college of business intelligence. Planning on getting a job on the side as well but not working right now since I just got back to Sydney from travelling India for a month.
Hi! Hmm why am I great to live with... I've been in boarding school for 5 years since 13yo and been living in a share room for about two years in Sydney. Now I'm planning to find my own room and enjoy my life here in Sydney before going back to Malaysia. I am a tidy person, but not such a freak so don't worry about that haha. I'm an INFP, quiet but don't mind chatting and discussing about things and having few drinks now and then. I don't mind having pets in the house too, even though I don't have one. (psst I may look like Chinese but I'm not, I'm Malay) Looking forward to be your housemate! :D
Hi, my name is Sarah. I’m a 30 years old French and NZ consultant in public affairs. Recently having moved to Sydney I am looking for a warm and clean place I can call home. Beach lover I spend most of my free time in the waves. Other hobbies include current affairs, going to the movies, gardening and photography. Traits: social, curious, outdoors person, clean, discreet & tidy.
I am a 21 year old student at University of Sydney currently studying Arts but planning to head into teaching. I also work part time at a pub in Marrickville. I am from rural NSW and after a room from about mid-February. I am an easy going, friendly guy who would like to live with like-minded sociable and personable flatmates, who enjoy catching up and having a beer. However I am busy throughout the week with university and working. I clean up after myself and am respectable with noise. I attended boarding school throughout high school so have lived communally since the age of 13.
Hi! I’m moving over to Sydney from Perth in February for work and am hoping to find someone fun, considerate and reliable to team up with. I’m looking for something close to the CBD, newish, private and safe, ideally in Surry Hills/Paddington/Darlinghurst/Potts Point areas. Looking at places up to $900pw to split with someone else, or otherwise a room in an existing place for approx. $500. Either furnished or unfurnished and am open to 6 months to 1 year or more... depends how it all works out I guess! Preferably would like to live with someone about my age with a similar career mindset... would be great to make a new friend to go out with and see the city etc. I’m outgoing, independent, like my space but also like to socialise. I’m not one for cooking (I eat out a lot) but I actually enjoy cleaning if that helps! Msg me if you think we might be a match ☺️ Ali
