I am a super outgoing and laid back human. I can make decent chit-chat, and may even occasionally make you laugh. I will be working full-time wherever I end up, but I'm also down to find some creative things to engage in. I like my own time, but I also enjoy a bevy on the weekends.
HEYY Everyone! I will be an international exchange student this upcoming semester (February 2017) at Griffith University! I am coming all the way from Ontario, Canada and will be here for four months. I am a super friendly, outgoing person (with a sweet Canadian accent) who is extremely excited to come and see your beautiful country. When I am not studying for school I hope to enjoy my time travelling, learning how to surf and being active! I have been told that Surfers Paradise is the place to live but anywhere around Griffith University would be great as well. Cheers! Sarah
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
I love a clean and quiet environment, as well as friendly polite and considerate people. I'm German born, and my background is nursing. I'm recovering from surgery, therefore I'm looking for a place, with similar age bracket 😊 Want to stay somewhere at least for 6 months. I love animals, music and dance, and love walking. I have travelled and lived in parts of Europe, like, Italy, Greece and Middle East. Have been living in Australia on and off , since 1981. My 4 adult children also live in Australia. Currently I'm a semi retired nurse in aged care, as well as sing now for fun, not to make a living. Enjoy meeting people and exchange life experiences. If it's great, then at least 12 months.
My name is Tahg, it's a weird name but a handy ice breaker whenever I meet someone. About me: Generally quiet through the week as I work full-time and tend to get up at 5am most days for rock climbing/gym before heading to work. In the evenings I can be found playing PS4, catching up on tv shows or chilling around the house. On the weekend I like to make the most of it so enjoy hiking, diving, beach, mountain biking or a gig on the odd weekend. I'm clean, considerate of my consumption and peoples' space and hate chasing up money so always pay my bills and rent on time. What I'm looking for: I work in the CBD and ride my bike each day, plus I climb/gym at Urban in West End so want to stay reasonably close to those areas. I'm a bit over the party house life as well so ideally would like to live with no more than 2 other people (3 bedroom max.). Preference to have my own bathroom but happy to share with clean and tidy people who are happy to contribute to communal items. I have a bit of stuff as well so a medium-large room is required. Happy to team up with anyone to find a place as well; I have a lot of stuff. Move date is flexible.
I am a 20 year old queer girl currently living in Bundaberg. I recently completed my first year of study and am looking to relocate. My roommate needs to move out and I can't afford the rent on my own. I like to watch movies and play games, listen to music and read. I keep mostly to myself but also enjoy some casual company. I can keep myself tidy, but if I get lax in chores, a gentle nudge is all I need - I am rather forgetful.
I´m a student who is going to study part-time and work part-time in gold coast. I finished my career law and i want to improve my english. I practice all kind of sports and I´m windsurf instructor too. I´m an outgoing person who likes to meet people.
Hello! I'm an international student from Japan and currently study at Griffith uni! I'm easygoing, love to talk with people, and I'd like to have flatsmats or roommates I can spend time with as a good friend :) Since I'm an international student who currently arrived here 2weeks ago, my English isn't perfect. But! I'm trying really hard to improve my speaking and also I don't have a big language problem in daily life. Actually if you are interested in Japan or another country's culture I will be a best flat mate/ roommate.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Although working, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I like to run, head on toadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and despite being well-travelled to places like the US - have amazing stories to tell. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
Hi everyone! My name is Anna. I am very active. I do a lot of sports, will definitely need a fitness club near by. I will always respect your privacy. I am friendly and tidy. I work as an English teacher and love my job :-)
21, just looking at moving to Brisbane, hairdresser. I am respectful and tidy, like to have fun on the weekends
Hi there! I'm Katrina :) I'm 26 years old and work full time in the city in Human Resources. I am a very clean, tidy and respectful housemate. My job can be stressful at times so I am pretty quiet during the week (i.e. slobbing out with Netflix, having dinner with friends and doing Pilates) and I like to enjoy my weekends (drinks with friends, shopping, trips to the beach, etc.) I respect my housemates' privacy and personal space but I also like to be social when we are all in the mood! I am looking to either team up to start a lovely new house or move in to an already established house that requires furniture (I have 2 beds, washing machine, fridge, smart tv, sofa, dining table/chairs and outdoor furniture) but could be persuaded to sell if the right house and housemates came along :) I can be flexible with my move date but would need to give my current place at least two weeks notice :) Feel free to drop me a message if you would like to know more about me, look forward to speaking soon! Katrina :)
Hi future roomie/s! We need to move ASAP! We're looking for a private bedroom and ideally you'll have a pool, but we're not fussy. We want to live anywhere from Surfers down to Mermaid Beach and we're looking for a friendly and relaxed home where the drinks can be enjoyed on the weekend and everyone gets along :) We're all about that fun but respectful life. I (Erin) work in finance full time and will be the only one moving in to start. Ryan is a fun American who would love to make some friends in Australia, currently he's travelling and would be moving in November 19th. We're clean and tidy, world travelled, respectful and all round good people. You'll love us! Not just because we make your rent a little cheaper ;) If you have any questions, ask away! Can't wait to hear from you :)
I just got back from 4 months travel and am looking for a room to rent. Im am new to the GC as I was living in Noosa before my travels. I am clean and easy going. I love to be fit, healthy and adventurous.
I am a 27 year old male looking for furnished accomodation down the south Gold Coast area. I am clean and healthy and I love sports and the outdoors. I would like to share with 1-2 others of similar age or older and with similar interests.
Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who is going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I have done an okay amount of traveling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Sometimes I like to have a fun night out and sometimes I like to have a quiet evening by myself. I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I love hanging out with friends in town in malls, in bars, etc. So dear future roommate(s), I look forward to meeting you!
Hiya.. moving from London to the Gold Coast to work at Commonwealth Games HQ. I am 32 and have been in London for nearly 9 years and forget what the sun looks like. I can give you free dance lessons, I like washing up, I am good at running to catch planes and like to make everyone play jenga. I also love music, tried to be a Dj once, think i am better at listening. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne and some friends in Sydney so I will be away some weekends - you are welcome to come join. My main goal is to work and chill out before a huge travelling trip around South America after the Games have finished in 2018. Also - going to Canada and Mexico for Christmas and New Years.. so won't be around then. :)
Currently living in my own apartment on the Gold Coast, but have to relocate due to work. Need to relocate before 14th November. New job will keep me busy - permanent roster: 5 days on 5 days off followed by 4 nights on 4 days off - work hours are 7.00 to 7.30 (am and pm shift) - so no silly start and finish times to annoy anyone. Obviously will need to sleep during the days while on night shift, but generally a pretty good sleeper. I grew up in the country, I am a friendly and easy going, happy person, can't survive without morning coffee, clean and tidy, try to lead a reasonably healthy lifestyle but love good food and a social drink. Often away on days off visiting family and friends. Consider myself young for my age. NEED CAR SPACE
I work full time in burleigh. I live a really healthy and active lifestyle and I am extremely independent and keep quite a busy life. I have lived on my own for over 10 years so I am extremely clean, neat and very respectful of others. I am really laid back and easy to be around. I am looking to relocate as I am currenlty in Brisbane and traveling everyday so really looking to settle into a life on the coast!
Looking for a private room (no shared rooms please) with my own bathroom and a secure place to park my motorcycle (happy to squeeze next to a car). Ideally, I'd like to start/join 2-3 other people in a share house or large apartment. I work full time at an environmental engineering consultancy 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Outside that I enjoy hanging out with friends, hiking, playing tennis, touch footy and going to the gym. I like to stay quiet during the week but am always keen for a drink and meeting new people on Friday and over the weekend. I am orderly and clean after myself, and am looking for likeminded people in that regard.
Hi! I am a Canadian here on a working holiday visa. Just got out of a relationship so looking to meet new people. I will be working full time Monday to Friday in South Brisbane so I prefer to be near there. I am very laid back and wouldnt mind if there were parties, as long as I can have my space when needed. Would prefer to live with people close to my age who are open minded and easy going but also responsible.

Looking to relocate either between NSW / Sydney or Brisbane or Gold Coast or Melbourne Formally worked at Crown Casino, in food and beverage, and will be finding work once I settle in.. Bubbly, tidy person.. (Bit of OCD in that department) Reliable and understand privacy when needy, but generally keep to myself. Bit of a gamer and movie freak, so that's pretty much me. Would love to chat more, if you have a place suitable for myself, I'd prefer furnished and around $200 / $300 a week) Bills preferred! Thank you.

Hi guys! My best friend and I are interested in starting a share house. There are some really beautiful big houses in bris (city and surrounds) and we would love to find one or two people to share a nice big place with. The places we're looking at would be about 150-200 per person a week. We both work full time and have just moved up from Melbourne. We're very fun, make a lot of jokes, very easy going and love a wine and a rant after a long day! Shoot us through a message if you like the sound of us :) Thanks xxx
I'm a people person. Love meeting new people, adventuring, going to the gym. I'm a really outgoing person and generally down for anything. I'm just working in Hospitality part time at the moment but hope to gain a full time job in the near future.
Hey everybody, I am Lucrezia I'm 17 and I'm actually studying here in Brisbane city since few months. I will frequent the last year of school next year and I'm planning to return in Australia to do that, after coming back to my country,Italy, in December. I really enjoyed the Aussie lifestyle and my course of studies here. I study economics, accounting, law and history, and I hope to take an economics uni course here in Australia for a while. My stay here has been incredible and I met amazing people on my way that completely changed my life, and I hope that so did I. I believe in sharing, good friendships and kindness between every relation and in treating each other with the maximum respect. Besides that, I'm a lot of fun and im very easy to get along with and to build a good friendship with, that I hope will last further my stay! I have great cooking skills and, yes, I make a fantastic pizza and I'm always up to throw a pizza party for everyone who wants it. I am very sportive and pretty much into discovering new places and camping whenever there is the chance! If I find an accommodation for my plan to return here next year, the dates would be from the end of January 2017 to the end of November 2017. Hit me up if you want to know more about me and if you're interest have me as flat mate!

My boyfriend and I are two friendly Canadians who love to meet new people but also like keeping to ourselves. We are tidy and we like to have fun and party but we also know what times we should respect our roommates and keep quieter. We are looking to make friends while working and saving money.
Independent down to earth and very relaxed guy. I am a professional guy working in the shipping industry, I work remotely so occasional work is done from home and majority of my work time is spent overseas or around Australia so will be away from home a big chunk of my time. I enjoy a clean living area and expect the same. In my spare time I enjoy surfing so am looking to be close to the beach, my social base is up in brisbane so wont be doing much partying at home. Looking for some like mined people to live with.
Hi there, just got a new job in Brisbane. Have lived here before and love the City. I am Working professional. Like time to myself but also love a beer and to be social. Looking for a like minded male/female to house share with. There is so much more bang for buck in a 2/3 bedroom place than a one bed. I have most house fittings and furnishings but am happy to sell/make other arrangements. I travel once a month or more for work, love to cook and enjoy my sport. Looking for a modern, clean apartment.
Hey there, I'm Paddy. I moved up to Brisbane from Sydney in July for work. I've been living in a one bedder in New Farm and now looking to share with some fun, social people. I work in HR and spend a fair bit of time between Sydney and Melbourne for work. Work hours are fairly regular, 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. I like to cook when I'm at home, go out for a few beers on the weekend and love to sit down for a good chat over some red whenever I get a chance.
Hi! I am a recent graduate from QUT looking to start my masters within the year. I work 20-40 hours per week at Westfield Chermside and I'm always either there, on set on productions, at an internship, or in my room writing or watching Netflix (which I have a subscription to and could share with flatmates). I am quiet, I only cook if I know I can clean everything up straight after, and I have a boyfriend of 3 years (so no bringing strangers home!). I currently live on the Sunshine Coast and the commute is killing me. My boyfriend and I would also like to trial living together so it would be great if he could either move in too or if he'd be welcome 2-3 nights per week. He's a great vegan cook, very very clean, and a fantastic singer and guitarist in a touring band (so he can either serenade you over his famous burrito bowls or make himself scarce quite often when the band is travelling Australia and overseas). I am always up for a sneaky vino after work/internship/production and have great respect for everyone which I base on open communication and kindness.
