Hi, My names Alyce streets I’m a professional 21 year old female from South Australia currently in Albury. I’m moving to Canberra for work as a vet nurse and need a place to live. I’ll also be working with racehorses early in the morning. I’m a very quite down to earth person I keep to myself and don’t cause any trouble. My rent is always on time I take pride in my living space as I’m very ocd about cleanliness. If you have anymore questions I’m absolutely happy to answer them, looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Alyce
My twin sister and I are looking for a place to stay whilst we complete our bachelor course at the University of Technology Sydney (atleast for the first year). We are extremely neat and organized and love to cook and bake.
Hi I'm Jen I will be moving to Sydney mid-February and will be attending the University of Notre Dame Broadway campus, so I am looking for a house around that area or someone to team up with. I am outgoing and very easy to get along with. I'm looking for a roommate who has no problem interacting or even hanging out from time to time, however, I do still appreciate time alone. I am a moderately tidy person, who loves to bake and watch movies. I'm not a party animal, however, I do enjoy social gatherings.
I'm a quiet student studying at UTS. I generally keep to myself, although I don't mind hanging out with others and meeting new friends. Any accommodation would be extremely helpful!
I am a non-smoker who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. Added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work (I work as an Early Childhood Educator - and yes I can babysit if needed), I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment with respectful, quiet and tidy housemates. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Shops and groceries like Coles or Aldi -Nearby gym and swimming pool -Reverse cycle aircon -Washing Machine and Dryer for clothes -NBN internet that can play YouTube videos in HD without delay (I used to live at a flatshare where it takes 5-10 mins to open my e-mails sometimes disconnecting in between and that was not fun at all) -Storage space for my 2 bikes - 1 road bike used for commuting and the other for training -I have a car but offstreet parking is okay for me. -A small yard or area with garden hose to wash my bikes (optional) -Unused spare room (optional): Will primarily use this as a study/gaming/training room for my Ironman race that I'll be participating in months to come so expect me to be in this room most of the time. If you wish to contact me, please send me a message with a detailed info of the following: - Yourself - Flatmates - Room - PHOTOS - Viewing times - House rules And oh, I'm seeking for a home that has NO pets in it. So let me know if my profile suits your home. Cheers.
Hi, A little bit about myself. I'm originally from Far North Queensland. I had a gap year in 2016, started uni up north in 2017.Didn't like what I was doing and found myself in Canberra mid year where I started studying at ANU. I'm looking for a room to rent with some good housemates. Not fussed about location really. Would like to find a place anytime before uni starts. Outside of study and work I enjoy going to the gym when I manage to get time, having a drink and a chat over some good food. I'm clean, tidy and organised but like to have some fun when I can. Look forward to meeting you.
Hi! I’m Tora and looking for someone to be the Rachel to my Monica! I’ll be moving to ACT for a Masters course at ANU and would love a room mate. I’m super organised, laugh at my own jokes (and occasionally other people’s) and just like the company of others. I can’t cook to save my life but I’m FANTASTIC at ordering from Menulog 👌🏻 I’m doing first lot of house inspections in ACT Sat 13/1 with more to come. Can’t wait to meet my future room mate!
Both new to Canberra! We have full-time work and spend most of our down time out of the house exploring Canberra and all it has to offer!
Hey i'm Stacey, im 24 years old and have recently been posted to Canberra (Brindabella Park) as i'm in the Airforce. I'm looking for a place ASAP as i only have one month of accommodation left on base! I'm a very outgoing/chatty person but also enjoy my own space, i'm very clean and funny enough like cleaning, i enjoy reading/watching movies, if any other questions are required, please don't hesitate to ask :)
Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm starting a new public service job in Canberra in early Feb so I'm looking for a new home. I'm from Melbourne, and am planning on heading up to the ACT late Jan, but can be flexible and come earlier if that works too. I like the outdoors and the snow, bushwalking and running and I'm looking forward to exploring some of the cafes around Canberra. I'm fairly quiet these days, I don't drink, so I'm not looking for a party house. However, I'd love a chat and a coffee with my housemates. I love cats, so if you have one that's a plus!
Hello, im Deniz from Germany. Im still looking for a short term about 2 months in the whole canberra area. I don't wanna lease anything. I'm working fulltime in the construction industry since already 1.5 years. Feel free to message me :) If you want 4 rents bond or something sorry don't message me. I'm easy going, open for a joke or a beer whatever.
I've lived in a shared home and shared my own place in the recent past, so know all about respecting a home and ensuring that its well looked after. I'm the quiet type, travels light, enjoys cooking, likes to do my own thing while still being social with the people I live with. I have my own set of friends, and enjoy the odd glass of wine/drink over a laugh. I also work full time, love to travel and try to live a healthy lifestyle and keep fit.
Public servant moving from Sydney role to position in the ACT. Looking for initial short stay around 6 months while establishing myself in the new role
I am chilled and fun. I am someone who likes to have a chat and get to know people around. I know my way around Canberra, since moving late 2015. I am bit of a country girl at heart, since growing up around the land on the family farm. I am independent, mature and tidy. I am working as a nanny in Gungahlin four days a week. I have my own vehicle and looking for a garage or carport to park my car. Along with me during the move will be my Siamese fighting fish, Violet Crumble.
20 y/o waitress currently working (well paid and reliable hours) and living southside with family but looking to move out, possibly northside instead. I'm friendly, chatty and sociable and find it easy to get along with most people, but I also will respect privacy and personal space, and hope to find the same attitude in my new housemates! So I am a smoker and I do drink but I'm not a wild party animal and i don't get too rowdy. I'm looking for friendly easy going people to share a 3 or 4 bedroom house with. I'm also looking to make friends with those people, not just pass each other in the hall! I am also open to joining an existing share house. I've found a few places I'd like to look at together if I do find potential housemates. (I have applied for an inspection for a 3 bed place in Ngunnawal that looks promising). Aiming to move out Jan / Feb.
I'm an easy going tradie. Early riser to take my female Husky for morning walks. Outdoorsy kinda guy with a 4x4 Ute and a dirt bike. I can cook alright, keep to myself mostly, but like a good social drink and or a chat. Keep a clean room, but can put up with a bit for clutter. Love to try learn new things, and will also be getting back in to the gym once settled. Looking for a place for a minimum of 6 months for my pup and I.
I am 56 and recently moved to Canberra for more job opportunties (which wont take me long to acquire due to my skills and experience) and to be closer to my daughter and son in law who are expecting their first child. I am a non-smoker and enjoy a social drink. I am clean, tidy, honest and respectful of others and their privacy. I cook a great BBQ and enjoy watching AFL and cricket.
Looking for a home for myself and my Kelpie Beau, we are moving back to Canberra after living in QLD. I adopted Beau 4 months ago from Animal Welfare League, he is 6 years old and is my running buddy. He would prefer a backyard to chill in during the day and prefers to sleep with me inside at night if possible. Beau is super friendly and loves cuddles with everyone. He is very well behaved, he is not destructive at all, and loves the company of other furry friends.I will be starting work as a Youth Worker Part Time on the 31st of January. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and camping. I am neat and tidy and happy to contribute to cleaning the house regularly. I would prefer a room that is furnished if possible. Please get in touch if you think your place might suit! :) Cheers Gemma.
I’m a recent school leaver looking to move out of my parents home. I do full time support work with somewhat irregular hours. I’m tidy and a somewhat competent cook. I’m very sociable and don’t tend to be argumentative. I’m not at all set in my ways and will happily adjust if there’s a better way for me to be doing things. I am a massive music enthusiast, I love to read, and I adore animals.
