Hi all! We are Jack and Laura, two europeans freshly arrived from New Zealand (Hope that's confusing enough!) Jack is a victim of the Brexit and I am an exiled camembert. We are both looking for great flatmates and a place to call home in Darwin! We are very laid-back, clean and respectful and we love sharing meals and bottle(s) of wine with flatmates! Jack is a football fan that loves statistics (nerd!), gambling, cats, pigeons and beers. I am a very passionated homecook/baker and a very shy ukulele occasional player. We would love to meet you (yes you!)! Extra points if you have a pet chicken, a dog, a cat or a game console! See you soon!
Hi I'm Dylan! 21 years old, FIFO engineer, masters student, recently moved to Darwin as starting new job, from Mount Isa. Very outgoing, loves the sesh, gym & adventures. HMU however won't need a place till early May.
Hi all! I am moving to Darwin to start a new job at the beginning of May and am looking for a place to call home! I am a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and will be working locally in town. I don't really know much about Darwin so no preference on the suburb, I'm more just looking for a good dynamic. Ideally I'm looking for that house with a couple other working blokes that kick back and watch the NRL with a BBQ and beers on a Friday night. I'm tidy, easy to get along with and I don't smoke. Doesn't bother me if you do though. Shoot me a message if you reckon we'll get along and will go from there! Cheers for reading! Ash.
Looking at relocating to Darwin mid year. Short term accomodation would be benefical until I get on my feet. I am use to living on my own so looking at sharing with one two people maximum. I will be working all day and like to do my own thing majority of the time. Not a big tv watcher. Don’t mind the occasional drink on weekends but no house parties. Clean, single , friendly and I have 1 small dog.
Hi! 28 year old friendly female employed by NT Government as an Environmental Scientist. I enjoy an active lifestyle, including yoga, netball, listening to music, outdoor activities like camping, fishing and definitely a wine or two after work. I am seeking 1-2 fun housemates to team up with to find a new house to share. I am currently living in Palmerston as I enjoy having a garden and more space, and would be looking at somewhere in Gunn, Farrar, Durack, Bakewell, but I am flexible in moving closer to town also, Parap, Stuart Park, Woolner, Jingili etc if I find the right housemates. I own all furniture required for a house, just looking for some new housemates to apply with! I enjoy making friends with housemates but also enjoy my own space, so an occasional dinner and drinks together would be great! I have a friendly loveable cat (Tilly) to come with me, but she is a cool kid. Ideally looking for other social, young professionals who are tidy and clean, and willing to do their fair share of the housework. Would be great to put on some tunes and have a beer together on weekends or have a board game night. I also have a room for rent in my current house for $160 a week in Gray, Palmerston if you are interested, let me know!
I am Asian, live and work in Australia since 2000 just before Sydney Olympic. I have family and my own house in Sydney, NSW. I am working at CDU (Casuarina Campus, Darwin) now. I live and work myself in Darwin. I prefer to share with professional mates, students or staffs from CDU. I do not prefer female dominated house as I have very bad experience. I am a quite, polite, less socialising person. I am able to mixed well with any cultures but I need time to know each other very well. So far, I am not happy with where I live and paid. I need to relocate not very far away from CUD. If I am happy with room/flat, I will be deciding for long term rental. I will not be interested too much restriction in the house, maximum deposit (more than 2 weeks), longer contract in the beginning (more than 2 or 3 months). I just bought a second hand-car so I do need a parking place either inside or outside the house. I will only be moved in early morning of 7 May 2018. It is around 1:30 AM and I will be coming directly from Airport. If anyone who is interested to share your flat, please send a message to me before 15 April 2018. If you are thinking to rent a flat together, we can discuss and see how is going.
I am a Physio, so you will never have to put up with an injury again. My little whippet,Harvey, and I are looking for a place to call home. Originally from Sydney but I’ve just returned to Aus after spending the last year in Mexico and Cuba, and working in Mexico as a refugee lawyer. I've just moved up to Darwin to start a new job as a community lawyer, so I’m looking for a new home up here. I’m an adventurous, active, and social person, and I’m a respectful, clean and mature housemate. I enjoy hanging out with housemates and having the odd drink or a few and dinner together and sometimes the odd party at home, but I’m not looking for a party house as I’ll be working full time professionally. I have travelled a lot, lived in several other countries, and I speak Spanish. I also love salsa dancing, and being in the outdoors incl hiking and camping, and I’m always keen to try new things. I’m 31.
I am always working and when i am home i am usually kept to myself as i have 2 dogs. One beautiful 10 yr old Alaskan malamute who sleeps all day and my 6 yr old siberian husky. They both love other dogs and kids, dont chew or dig and just live a chilled out life.
Hi guys I have recently moved from Brisbane to a start a fly in fly out role out of Darwin. It being a FIFO role means I'm away from Darwin Monday through to Thursday. I'm quite an easy going guy and zero hassle. Love travelling, adventure, meeting new people and a good read.

24 Male from Wales (UK) in full time work in Darwin Looking in these areas, Fannie Bay, Stuart park, NightCliff, Larrakeyah or CBD. Looking for easy going housemates, I work roughly 50-60 hours a week. Also like to socialise and have a quiet beer after work maybe?
Hello there, My name is Laura. I am currently living in Newcastle, NSW (hometown) however i am moving up to Darwin as of the 11th May. I will not be employed when i arrive, however i do have enough funds to pay bond and rent etc until i find myself a job. I currently work in hospitality, managing a cafe down at my local beach. I am looking for a room in a share house for a more permanent stay but am very flexible. I am a clean and tidy person who has lived in share houses for the past 4 years. I am very easy to get along with- I am very social and like to have a good time but also enjoy downtime very much. I am mostly looking for a room to rent in close proximity to the city/ shopping centers, as I am hoping to pick up some work in surrounding areas but am not to fussy at this stage as i don't know the area very well. I do plan on buying a car so transport is not a huge concern. Please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you ASAP.
Considerate, easy-going, open-minded, blunt and honest, active shiftworker. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm super clean, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. As I'm moving from Sydney I would like a place with a spare room and a flatmate open to having friends/family staying occasionally. I do have a partner who I'd like to be able to stay sometimes but as he's not in Darwin it won't be every week. He's an ex-chef without a kitchen so this COULD be to your advantage... :D (I will also be staying at his place so you will have the place to yourself too). I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker. I'm still umming and aahing about furniture and whether I should bring mine or not so will see what pops up (furnished or unfurnished). I do love reading though so would love to bring a bookshelf with stacks of books.... Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D My job starts on 16MAY so happy to do short term or stay the whole year, depending what comes up.
