LOOKING FOR A FURNISHED APARTMENT/ROOM IN CENTRAL SYDNEY Hi, I’m a 34-year-old Finnish woman looking for a apartment/room for 1-3 months, starting from the end of January 2017. Long-term options (+1 year) are also welcome. I’d like to live in a shared house, but I’ll be bringing my cat along so I’d need the house to be pet friendly. My cat is super social and loves all people. Well at least a good scratch I’ve got a PhD in Genetics and I’ll start working at the Uni Sydney in the beginning of the February, and I’d like to live somewhere in a walking distance from the Camperdown/Darlington campus. However also other locations are possible if the commute is less than an hour. I’m a very social person and got (at least according to some people) a good since of humor. I love cooking and my favorite way of spending a weekend evening is to make some food with friends and enjoy it with a bottle of good wine. I’ll be shipping my stuff from Finland but since it takes at least a couple of months, I’d like the apartment to be at least partially furnished.
I am an outgoing, humorous character from Orange County, California. I work full time as a retail manager in a job I've had for over two years now. I love a laugh as much as an adventure and some of my favorite things to do are downhill mountain biking, sailing, and scuba diving. I'm a very tidy person and very easy to get along with. I'm looking for my own room with either a private bathroom or an ensuite ideally.
Hey! I'm Julia and I'm a relatively recent Sydney-side convert from New Zealand. I've been here just under a year now and looking to find my first place to call home - I work full time in Research and Strategy at a Marketing agency based in Ultimo. I'm a down to earth character, I love being outdoors and active as much as I do having down time with good food and good company after a long day at work. I like making a home a place you look forward to going too. Hopefully I can get to see your place sometime soon!
Hey, I'm a web developer working in Redfern, looking for a room to rent from end of Feb / mid March. Would be nice to share with some sociable people but keep it fairly quiet during the week. I've moved around a lot between the UK, Canada, New York and Sydney so I've shared a lot of places :)
Hi! I'm Imogen, a 26 year old moving to Sydney from London and working in marketing. Looking for a relaxed place to call home. As i'll be new to the city it would be great to have flatmates who are up for the odd dinner/drink and keen to meet new people as well. I am, however, pretty independent and happy to do my own thing so would be respectful of your time/space. I'm active, love the outdoors and keeping fit. I also love food, cosy nights in and the odd night out.
-Im very relaxed, quiet, clean, respectful and easy to get along with! -I work for Apple, and i also dance in my spare time. -Ive previously had my place listed looking for flatmates and now the tables have turned. -Im looking for a friendly household with some relaxed people who have similar values to me. Definitely not a partier, so after a non-party house!
My friend and I are looking to move in somewhere with our adorable 7 month old husky who is house trained, well behaved and generally lives outdoors. We are two english girls who are clean, tidy and full of banter.
Hey future housemate! I'm Rohan and I'm a full Digital Content and Video Producer and on the side I do a bit of concert photography! I've lived in Glebe for 7 years in two different share houses and my current housemates are moving overseas! So I'm looking for a place in Glebe / Annandale or Forest lodge with a car spot. I'm after a housemate I can have a laugh with, share a glass of wine and watch absolutely awful movies or maybe some doccos and talk crap/science. I'm very clean and respectful of other housemates and am open to sharing food, or not, whatever you're into! If you wanna catch up, grab a beer, let me know!
We´re a couple of professionals (GP and pharmacist) from South America, working and studying in Sydeny CBD at the moement. We are easygoing, clean, friendly and helpful. Also, we enjoy outdoor activities, movies, travelling, cooking and a glass of wine once in a while with others, but we´re not party people.

Also love to sleep. I'm not a party animal, and I respect others privacy. Please Note: I won't be able to move until around Christmas time. and also, no room share, thank you.
I'm an easy going and social person currently working full-time in the city. I'm clean, respectful and considerate of others. I love the gym and just hanging out in general, but I also enjoy my own space. Can provide a fridge, washing machine and microwave if needed.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm a quiet, clean, easy to live with housemate. I work as a theatre technician and as such keep very irregular hours, often late night.early morning. Due to the hours I work I often spend more time out then in a house. I like to chill after work.

Hi! I'm Maddie, I'm 23 and work full time as a physio in a hospital. When I'm not working, I enjoy heading out for good food, spending time with friends and relaxing with some Netflix. I'm a fairly quiet person, but I'm always up for a good chat and sharing a meal/drinks every now and then. I've perfected the art of cleaning up after myself so I'm nice and neat to live with, and I'm more than happy to share in cleaning and cooking as needed. I'm looking for a place to stay relatively long term so it'd be lovely to meet some house mates I can consider my house family!
I am a professional working 9 -5 on weekdays and want to get the most out of my weekends. very easy going and tidy enough to be your home mate. I am in to film-making and photography, so if you have similar interests or if you are in this industry, I will pay your rent too ;) (I hope you dont take it serious). I love having pet but I got allergic reaction to it so no pet please. I like to have party in occasionally and I am very open minded. do whatever you like as long as we have our own privacy and respect.
Originally from the Blue Mountains. Working in the CBD full time Mon-Fri 9-5. Respectful, quiet and easy going. Neat and tidy, I love music and spend a bit of time going out to see exhibitions, gigs. Also enjoy getting outdoors and being active as much as possible.
Hi, I'm Supriya. I'm a civil engineer in my twenties, working full time in the city in the financial services. I'm friendly, easy going and respectful of others. On weekends I spend time catching up with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. I'm looking for easy going, sociable and considerate people who take pride in their home and keep it clean and tidy.
I'm looking for my new home, I am a friendly and British looking for somewhere accessible to Central Sydney. I have just moved across to Sydney with work after spending the last 4 years in Auckland as a HR professional. I am sociable, outgoing and keen to live with like-minded people, equally, I am respectful of other people's privacy and enjoy time to myself. At the weekends I tend to relax, socialise and enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks.
Hey I'm Rob, I've just finished high school and am looking to move into the city early next year before I start my Bachelor of Science at Sydney Uni. I understand personal space and the need for housemates to be respectful about noise and cleanliness. And while I don't currently have a job in the city I've already made sure rent funds are 100% in order so even if I starve, I'll still pay rent on time. Ideally I'd love to move in with other students who are keen to have a beer and a laugh after work or uni. You'll usually see me out and about roller skating with my sister, so give me a shout if I sound like someone you'd be interested in living with. Ps I can give you free lessons :D
I'm 22yrs old, supposedly will be back at uni next year, maybe not, who knows. I'm pretty happy just working at the moment so i'm not rushing back to uni just yet. I'm currently on the lease of a house near Crows Nest and I want to move closer to the city, but this means I know all the do's and dont's of housesharing - what you guys expect of subtenants and what a subtenant should expect of a tenant. I'm not super into going out but don't at all mind living with those who do. You can usually find me at work, attempting to alter/make my own clothes (with varying degrees of success), or roller skating around for some promo job (can offer roller skating lessons). I've become good friends with my housemates currently so I'm looking for a house where I can have a laugh with new friends and occassionally invite old ones around 🙂
We are looking for a room to rent in a 1 or 2 bedroom place. We both work full time and some weekends. Ideally we would like to live near Zetland, Camperdown, Rockdale, Wolli Creek, Revesby, Panania, East Hills, Holsworthy.
Respectful Australian guy looking for a room in an established home or to collaborate with people who want to make a new place. My work focuses on understanding how distinctive environments and organizational cultures impact creativity and innovation for community wellbeing. Not interested in a partyhouse. Rather, I appreciate a friendly and relaxed vibe - ideally making a sanctuary, balancing private and shared space. That said, my interests range from a love of exploring nature to storytelling, conversation and an occasional social drink or cooking a meal for friends. Simon
I am a professional engineer running my own business from overseas. For project work I need to stay in Sydney for a few months. I am a clean and tidy person, who has lived in share houses already. I ma not a party person but I am very social and love having a chat with anyone and do not mind having a Friday night drink either.
I am a respectful and easygoing person. I work and study a lot and so spend a lot of time at my computer but I am happy to have a chat or a game every now and then. I enjoy surfing, bush-walking and video games. I am open to sharing some food but would generally prefer that food is managed individually. I am looking for housemates who are also respectful and easygoing.
We are a young couple from Germany and Canada that are very active during the day and enjoy relaxing on the weekends. Julia works wherever her agency places her, whether it's in a festival selling ice creams or in a wearhouse sorting boxes out. Tom works for Deliveroo and enjoys working out in the morning. We have little to nothing in our backpacks and are planning to move to Tasmania in February for farm work. Until then, January being a superb month in Sydney, we are looking to spend much time outdoor and attend the festivals coming up! We are open minded people that like to laugh, we live in the moment.
Hello there! I'm a journalism graduate travelling in Sydney now, originally from Singapore. I'm respectful, tidy and easy going, would love a pint over a chat with mates every now and then with no problem giving people their space. If you think I'm a potential housemate, kindly drop me a text. Cheers x
Hi there, my name is Edan. I moved to the big city from the central coast one year ago and I am now looking for another place. I love to cook, go to the gym and relax after a day at work. I would love to check out your place if possible. Thanks
I'm 21, have just graduated out of uni and am moving to Sydney (from Brisbane!) for a new job. I'm responsible, considerate and currently trying to improve my cooking skills haha - Not a super party animal, but I'm friendly and don't mind a good time now and then ;) Am ideally looking for housemates who are also responsible and down-to earth~ Move in date is relatively flexible, with late Dec. preferred :)
Hi! My name is Steven, I am a dynamic and house-trained French teacher. I'm 23 yo, responsible, respectful and social (always up for a drink or a meal, I'd love my housemates to become friends!). I am ready to visit the room ASAP if you feel like my profil fits with your expectactions. Last thing, a contract till mid-April 2017 would be perfect. Thanks! Steven
Just recently moved to Sydney from England (London). Outgoing, sociable. Love spending time with others, but just as much like spending time on my own. Independent, lived with housemates many times before. Very chilled and laid back. I'd be a great housemate!
Moving over from Perth in late December, I’m looking for a room/teamup for my early-thirties life crisis. 32 year old Chef relocating to continue a culinary education. Easy going, friendly, responsible and respectful, quirky but not overly weird (especially when tired), I will make best housemate for other under roof people. Enjoys cooking, drinking, sleeping, funny movies, 90s R&B, memes, hanging out the laundry, quoting the same line from Forrest Gump over and over, unsolicited 2am conversations, and helping people feel good about themselves. If this works for you then let’s see if it works for both/all of us. Laters sk8ters
I'm going to be working full time and I generally like having quiet nights, although I can also be very sociable with the people I'm around. It would be great to live with people I could potentially become friends with. I love to cook and I'm very clean too.
Hello there! I am Andrew, a business development/account manager who has just moved into a different industry. The new job is CBD based so i am looking to move closer to the city - currently I am based in the hills district which means I am spending more commuting than I'd like. I used to work in FMCG so have a pretty good knowledge of bars and restaurants in Sydney. I also like music, movies, conversation, .......the usual good stuff. If you think we'd be a good fit and like to know more drop me a line. Ideally I'd like to have something locked in by the end of 2016 and preferably sooner.
Heya I'm Emily, i've recently returned from traveling around Europe and am looking for a place for the new year. I will be commencing my masters studying public health at Sydney university so ideally would like a place close to city or with good public transport access. I enjoy having chats with housemates around the kitchen with a few drinks but can also appreciate having alone time and personal space. I tend to go out with friends on weekends and attempt to keep active and enjoy the outdoors. During the week after work and study i tend to relax with some quality netflix time. As a housemate im clean, tidy and respectful. I appreciate a clean house but a few dishes arnt the type of thing to bother me.
Hey we are a fun couple who always like to have a bit of a laugh. We are both very chilled and relaxed people, enjoy a few beers and wines in the sun on the weekend, and like to eat out as well as in! We are both active sorts, gym, walking, running. He is a very hard working Carpenter, and has worked in this industry in Australia for the last year. She is in the process of relocating to Sydney and has worked as an ECE Teacher for the last twelve years. We are looking for a room for the both of us that we will always keep clean and tidy. With high respect for others that may live there! We are looking for long term options!! A FURNISHED ROOM would be a bonus, and also on site, or close by PARKING that does not come at too much of an extra cost, no meters to pay etc. He is Irish, and She is from New Zealand!! Both have great worldly knowledge and have travelled far and wide! We both love watching sports, especially rugby and football! We are just hands down awesome flatmates to have so i know we would fit in anywhere!!
Heyy, I'm Laura I'm 24 from England, been in Sydney for around 8 months. Currently living with another girl but we are going separate ways due to her moving in with her boyfriend- sad times!! So looking to move around the end of December as that's when our lease is up! I'm really clean and tidy and easy to live with looking for someone who is the same and can share a cheeky wine with now and again ;). I work Tuesday to Saturday so usually pretty quiet during the week. =)
I am a 21 year old girl from Norway. As i am thinking about study on University of Technology Sydney in 2018, I am also looking for a place to live. I am a chill girl who likes to hang out with friends (go to cafes, restaurants, a walk in the park, sunbathing), watch series/chill on my computer. Also i want to do good in school, do my best, and I expect much from my self. When in Sydney of course i'd like too learn how to surf. Also i like a little party now and then, drinking with friends and going out. And i am just gonna throw in another couple of hobbies like reading books (while sunbathing), cooking (I loooove good food), shopping, explore, listen to music (expecially in the shower lol), and travel (one of the reasons i want to study abroad). If i have to describe my self i would use the words easy-going, kind, calm, positive and also i love to laugh (by insulting and using sarcasm, so be prepared) . I am definitely a summerperson. I love summer, sunshine makes me happy af. If you think we would be the perfect room mate couple, give me a sign!
My name is Paula and I am a 32 year old female who has recently relocated back to Australia after living in Vancouver, Canada for the past 3.5 years. I am clean, tidy, down to earth and very easy going. I used to own my own home in Adelaide before moving to Vancouver, therefore, understand the importance of upkeep and I always respect peoples belongings and space at all times. Ideally, I am looking for a quietish home, with no cats (allergies) and a car parking space. I travel a lot for work so I do need to leave my car behind for days on end so even if there's not secure parking, I'd just ask for my roomie to check on things while out of town. I don't really know many people in town and I am away a lot so a friendly wine and/or dinner with my roommate every now and again would be nice! I can supply references from any of my previous roommates from Canada and also my employer (who is also my employer from Canada).
My name is Karlie, I'm a 27 year old post grad student who will be studying law at UTS next year. Looking for somewhere long term to make a home. I'm a 19 year old Australian student studying commerce at usyd, I currently live near Cronulla, but looking to move closer to the city as I will start full time work in accounting and finance in the city in February, and the commute is getting a little painful. I'm a relatively quiet, very chilled out, but sociable guy, especially after you get to know me. I like to have a few drinks and go out on weekends, but also I enjoy just chilling at home and watching Netflix and stuff, but I will also spend a fair bit of time studying, due to my full time work and study load.. I like going to the beach, going for the occasional run and being outdoors. I'm also a neat and clean guy! I'm going overseas in January for the month so putting this out in advance in the hope of perhaps having something lined up for when I get back! Feel free to message me!
Hi there! I recently moved back to Sydney and looking for a long term stay. I'm Dutch have a PR status and work full time for this awesome marketing and communication company. During the week I'm pretty serious, F45 and watching TV series. I try to live the Aussie lifestyle cause that's just the way you wanna live! In the weekend I usually go out with friends or trying to explore new bars and restaurants. I have lots of passion for music, particular in the (tech) house / techno scene and sports. There are couple of festivals that I would like to visit as well. I'm looking for an en-suite room and a flat mate who is easy to hang out with. I'm tidy and clean but not a cleaning freak. I also like my occasional cannabis strain. No - I do not smoke every day - only my "Dutch delights" in the weekends. It relaxes me and give me peace of mind. (I don't smoke sigaretes) I rather be upfront about my interest and what I do. You will have a great time with me. You will piss yourself laughing with me and you will have a great company to be around with! Speak soon. Kevin

I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master's program at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room close to a train station.
