Hello everyone :) I am originally from Singapore and have been here since the middle of 2017 studying and working at the same time. I am an Early Childhood educator and prior to this, I have spent 13 years in the hospitality and tourism industry. I love meeting people from all over the world and enjoy learning about new cultures. Travelling and exploring the city is something I enjoy. I also love nature and the great outdoors. I am organised, meticulous and considerate and very house proud. I hope you are too and we will get along really nicely. Thanks for reading and please feel free to ask me anything you like. Good day :)
Hi everyone! I am moving to Sydney in October on a work and holiday visa. I am from the states and I love meeting new people and exploring new places! I am a really easy-going and respectful roommate. Message me if you have any questions or want to team up!
Hi, I'm Laura! I'm a 23 year old studying Education and working part time. I'm a Sydney local hoping to move into the Inner West early into next year (2018). I play netball and have started learning to play the glockenspiel. Not very good at either - but I still have fun! When I can, I love binging TV shows (recently finished Big Little Lies - definitely recommend even thought it's quite intense) and singing along to the radio in my car. I'm very friendly and do love meeting new people and socialising; whether that be out about or by chilling out at home. If I had to pick I'd say I'm slightly more of a homebody. I enjoy baking (my home made jam is pretty fab too) and I'm always down for communal dinners, a sneaky 5pm drink or a good ole late night D&M. I'm a good listener who knows how to clean up after herself and maybe only sometimes sings loudly in the shower. Honestly, I would like to be friends (or at least on friendly terms) with the people I live with, but I understand that this doesn't always happen. I would like to live within 10 minutes of a station as at this time I don't have a car. Let's roll the dice and live together?!
Hello everybody! My name is Andrés and I'm coming to Australia (woohoo) to do my PhD at Macquarie University. I'm arriving in Sydney on January 30th and I'm looking for a nice place, with nice people and nice location to live. I've been sharing a flat in Amsterdam during the last year, and before that I've been living in shared flats for almost 10 years in Barcelona... So, yes, I know almost everything about roommates, weekly cleaning and shared dinners... :) I am 29 yo, gay, clean, tidy and outgoing. I enjoy talking with flatmates, but also enjoying time by my own. I like cooking and share meals with roomies. I also enjoy outdoors, cycling, movies, netflix... a normal guy. Not a party animal, I prefer having dinner with friends or chilling at home... but sometimes partying is also nice. If you think I can be your next flatmate message me! I'm also available for teaming-up! Cheers! :)
Hi! Just moved to Sydney after living in North America and Europe earlier this year. Funny (at least that's what my mates say), outgoing and social but also enjoying quiet time. Reformed introvert (though most people don't believe the introvert part). Love diving, snorkeling and traveling. Hoping to find new girlfriends and a place close to a beach! :)
I am considerate, fun and practice the art of joy and love. I've just spent 6 months teaching scuba diving in Bali and now have a full time job at North Face retail. I'm Australian born Cantonese; love beaches, climbing, yoga, and smelling flowers.
I'm Holly and I'm 24. I work full time in corporate and financial comms which keeps me pretty busy during the week. I try and get to the gym most days either before or after work. On the weekend I'm usually out and about with friends or my boyfriend. When I'm home, I'm probably just relaxing with a book or netflix. I'm house trained, so have no problems wiping down a bench or taking the rubbish out. I know my way around the kitchen so if I bake a cake, feel free to have a piece. I'm always up for a chat with my housemates but get the need for space. I'm looking to move ASAP so please get in touch if you have something for me!
I’m moving to Sydney from the UK and will be arriving 1st Feb on a working holiday visa, hoping to find full time employment. Looking for fun but tidy and respectable housemates, preferably female. Don’t mind pets but can’t live with cats due to allergy. Looking for a furnished rent for up to 6 months.
I'm a 26-year-old American from Missouri working full-time in marketing in the CBD. I've been in Sydney for 2 and a half years but am looking to relocate to the inner-city area. I'm fun, tidy, and I make bomb-ass cookies. I enjoy the occasional vino and will gladly leave entertaining doodles around the house for anyone in need of a pick-me-up.
Hey all, I just moved over from WA where i have lived for the past 7 years. I am originally from England, but have Permanent Residency here in Australia. I am an extremely tidy and like things in there correct place. Im respectable and a hardworking individual. Im friendly and outgoing but keep myself out of the way. I like to cook occasionally and like to have a well earned beer over the weekends. I am looking for a room for long term for the right property,
Helloooooo, I'm Casey, 34, a nurse studying more nursey stuff at uni, so I'm fairly busy. Can always find time for wine, though. Love wine! Paradoxically, I also love the gym. I'm friendly. Clean. Social and outgoing. And my mum says I'm funny. Other than that I bake cookies, pay bills on time, and always break the first rule of fight club. I’m laid back and easy to live with. Being a nurse, I can work unusual hours but am respectful of any 9-5 comrades within my vicinity. I work casual at two hospitals, so I’m spoilt for shifts and therefore reliable with paying for stuff. Plus, I work in psych so I have funny stories AND the ability to deescalate fights and reality base people if they become psychotic. I mean, what else could you possibly need in a flatmate?!
I moved to Sydney three years ago and have been living with friends in Glebe, then Petersham. Our lease is ending in February 2018, so I won't be looking to move for a while but am interested in finding out if anyone is looking for a housemate around this time. I work and study full time and will be finishing my PhD in 2018 so would prefer somewhere quiet during the week - but never say no to a few drinks or a Netflix session.
I'm currently a full time content editor up in Macquarie Park. I love cooking, festivals, strawberry shortcakes and having a wino or three. I was also a croupier in the past, so am keen to deal your poker nights :) I'm easy going, reliable, and tidy. I'm hoping to find a lovely, neat place I can call home.
Hello! I am Meesh, 27 years old and trained well im share house living. I enjoy being outdoors, checking out new bars and restaurants and cooking up the occasional feed at home. I'm respectful and considerate and always up for some friendly banter. I'd love to find somewhere that has real homely and friendly vibes. I'm a chef, so I'm out a fair bit, but always keen to grab a feed and a beer if schedules permit and i can also answer any cookery and food related questions should google not be suffice. I'd also like somewhere to grow some herbs etc. So if that works with you, we could potentially be plant buddies. I am not a passive aggressive post it note bandit and hope that you aren't either I'm terrible at about mes but i look forward to hearing from you! Cheers guys!
Please do not contact if your property is not near the beach! Shaadi is an IT professional from the UK and Chris is a Chef from Germany. We both work full time, with Shaadi regular Mon-Fri and Chris' shifts vary. We're both very chilled, love cooking, staying in watching a movie and getting to know our flatmates. We also like a drink and going to a bar once in a while! Look forward to hearing from you! Shaadi & Chris
Hello! I'm looking for a place to live in Surry Hills / Waterloo / Redfern and surrounding areas. A little bit about me… I enjoy eating out, cooking (I’ve been told my brownies are pretty tasty) as well as keeping fit - either down the gym, yoga or a run along the coast. I also love going to events, gigs, and festivals and am looking forward to seeing what Australia has to offer. I work at a PR agency in Surry Hills, which usually lends itself to some freebies (fingers crossed). I already have some friends in Sydney but also looking to meet new, likeminded people. Am looking to find a place to call home in a friendly flat share, where I can socialise over a glass of wine / beer of an evening with flatmates. If there is anything else you want to know please get in touch. Hayley
What makes me great to live with? I like to make a house a home and form friendships with my housemates and do some social things together sometimes. Believe honesty, effective communication, respect for each other, kindness, flexibility, and cleaning up after ourselves are important for happy households. Enjoy taking responsibility for household chores without being prompted. Love to cook not just for myself but for others so am happy to share a meal...so if you don't like to cook all that much then you're in luck. Enjoy a great conversation and a laugh but also respect and understand the need for privacy to chill out and 'do your own thing'. Have a good sense of humour. Now for a little about me - I'm a medical secretary and writer, employed full time. Looking for a long-term lease I can truly call home and housemates I can truly call friends. For easy access to the work commute and to keep life simple, I'd like a place close to a train station (up to 700 metres). Would also like a home where I can have family and friends visit for a meal occasionally. My interests include: reading, writing, history, English and grammar, art, architecture, archaeology, antiques, music, cooking and food, discovering great little cafes who make awesome coffee, did I mention food?..lol, walking, swimming, the great outdoors, animals and nature, movies, theatre, markets, travel, gardening. Non-smoker, hard working and enjoy keeping my home clean for all to enjoy. Love a great conversation and like to have a laugh. Am an active person, and while I don't go to the gym, I love to walk and keep fit. Like my own personal space and quietness to chill and reflect after work and write, but equally happy to socialise a share a meal and a wine and tv or the movies. For fun on the weekends I love to find great places to walk and explore, go to markets, catch a movie, find a cafe that does a good cappuccino and sit back and watch the world go by, catch up with family and friends, visit art galleries, museums, libraries, go out to dinner, and just generally chill.
Hi, I'm looking to move back out from home in the near future. A bit about me: I like to watch and play sport, keep active and I always enjoy a drink. I am mad about basketball and can talk all things NBA or spend my entire day shooting hoops. I'm also a closet nerd who enjoys programming and building apps in my spare time. I work full time in IT in the city and would preferably find a place that is near public transport (ideally train).
I enjoy a pretty balance lifestyle i enjoy the gym , travelling and generally having a laugh whilst maintaining a semi professional take on life. It would be great if my house mate was also pretty private yet still enjoyed the odd cooked meal or a beer at the weekend . I am from england and have been here nearly 1 . 5 years working as a mortgage broker
I get along with everyone, I’m really uncomplicated and tidy and I love to meet new people. In addition to that I love cooking, hanging out and in general im pretty excited for having a good time with you guys in Sydney!
