I have done various flatshares having lived in different places so I am used to sharing a place. I like to live with people who enjoy a chat now and again and maybe sharing a meal or a drink from time to time. I come from the UK originally and have come to Australia on a working holiday to discover this side of the world and have a change of lifestyle as I love being by the ocean. I’m a fan of going to gigs, exhibitions, running, Zumba and yoga. I am currently doing mainly office based work so generally working Mon to Fri with weekends off. I love getting to know people from different parts of the world and learning about the way people do things in other countries and this can also be part of the fun of flatshares. Looking for a private room only 😊
Hey all! I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I've been working and living in Sydney for a year now. Back home in Scotland for a wee visit at the moment, however looking for a place mid August. I've lived in shared accommodation throughout the duration of my stay. So super clean, tidy and respectful. I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy having a drink or two! I’m a sociable person and would like to potentially make new pals with my housemates. Looking for somewhere long term around 6 months of so. Looking for a private room too :) No share rooms! Feel free to ask me anything Zahrah xoxo
Hey there! I'm Cam, a New Zealander who's just arrived in Sydney at very short notice. You might have seen me skating around, in a yoga class, running/jumping/climbing on things, or looking for some cooking inspiration around the local hot-spots as I get settled in the city. Programmer by trade so I know a bit about computers.
Quiet, winter-hibernating type of person, looking for a tidy, quiet place to live. Open to sharing a cup of tea and a Netflix night in every so often but generally keep to myself. I work shift work so I would need to live with people who can be respectful of my strange sleeping hours, and of course I will do the same.
Hi, I'm a software developer from Sydney. I'm pretty easy going and tidy, looking for people who are similar and easy to live with. I enjoy reading, listening to music and doing the yoga.
Hey there! We are an active and lively couple looking for some fun people to share a flat with. We like to laugh and talk, play games, make music, make friends. We've both traveled the world so we adapt easily and live minimally. He's an enthusiastic cook but unfortunately all I can do is yoga. We're both very tidy and considerate people. I do work from home so I need a reasonably quiet space and stable internet.
I'm a clean, easy going guy looking for a place to live. I enjoy keeping fit, a beer/wine or two and am equally happy either spending time with people or on my own. I'm a professional in the city and often work long hours.
I am a last year nursing student. I will be travelling at the end of this year, I hope to settle and move in to a new place before my travelling. I will be coming back at late Jan and working full-time shift work. I am easy-going, clean and responsible. Hoping to find roommates with similar lifestyle to share a place with :)
Considerate flatmate, busy with life and work but enjoy a bit of down time at night - cooking and a bit of netflix/reading.
Hi lovely people! My name is Joline, I'm a 26 year old from Stockholm, Sweden now living in Sydney. I'm currently working at a café in Glebe (yes, I will bring heaps of free bread home for my flatmates). I'm now living in Waterloo but looking to relocate before the end of August at the very latest, but I won't have any trouble to move pretty much ASAP. Preferably somewhere in the inner west. So here's me: I'm happy, very friendly and easygoing. I'm pleasant and quiet as a flatmate, but I also love beer, red wine and hanging out with my housemates for a night in (or out.) In my spare time I love doing heaps of different things. Like a lot. That includes: shooting film (mostly 35 mm), yoga, reading, drawing, meditation and working towards my goal of becoming a graphic-/web designer. I also love animals (especially dogs) and just being in nature. Come spring I'm going to study in Sydney, I'm currently here on a WH Visa that I'm going to convert into a student visa. I absolutely adore living in this city. I'm happy to look at places all over the Inner West and Eastern suburbs. Especially though I would love to relocate to Redfern, Erskineville, Newtown, Enmore, Stanmore, Marrickville or Bondi. But everything is welcome :) My budget is pretty small at the moment and I'm looking for places at around $200-250/week. I'm looking for a room of my own, not a shared room, and I would love to be able to stay for at least three or four months if you're subletting. That should be all. So yeah, if I sound like your kind of flatmate, hit me up! Lots of love Joline
Hi! I’m great to live with as I only will be there 3 nights a week! 😃 I live in the mid north coast but work in Sydney 3 or 4 days per week. I work in the corporate world in marketing. I’m easy going, and keep a neat and tidy house.
*UPDATE: Am in a temp sublet until late August/early September so will now be able to move during last week of August/1st week of Sept 2018. Happy to discuss mutually agreeable/flexible arrangements though.* Hello friendos, My name is Ushter and I'm a late 30-something man/guy/dude, and am looking to move into an established share house. Me: I work full time for a trade union Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm sociable and don't mind the occasional chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates. I like cooking (food that is, and when i am not exhausted) for myself and others and like sharing the occasional meal/drink/cup of tea. Most importantly, I'm "share house-trained" and not a dickhead. You: Please see section entitled "Me". If I fit the profile of "suitable housemate" and/or if you know someone looking for a housemate like me, give us a shout and let's get to sharing houses. Cheers, Ushter
Hi we are a couple looking to move out with some lovely people in a share house. We are clean, considerate, friendly and hard working people. Brooklyn is a hairdresser working full time in Rozelle, she loves to cook and her favourite drink is Pinot Noir. Ell works full time in Parramatta and part-time in Central, she plays roller derby and her favourite drink is Pure Blonde. We both like to chill out in our spare time but also like the occasional drink with mates. Fairly flexible with location as long as it is close to a station. We have our own furniture for our rooms, kitchen, bathroom and for common areas if possible. Minimum stay of 6 months and not necessary to be on the lease (at this point in time)!
I am looking for a tidy shared room for a long term nearby Sydney CBD. I am a type of out-going, friendly and respect people privacy. I also like vegetarian foods and mediation. I love musics, books. I prefer to share with full-time student or professional workers. Thanks and cheer ;)
Hi potential flatmates! 😊 My name is Zoe and I work full time in Human Resources for a cruise company. I go to pole fitness classes a few times a week after work and enjoy relaxing at home watching a movie or binge watching TV shows. And.. on weekends, I’m always up for brunch or a cheeky Kmart run haha! I am tidy, easy going, friendly, sociable and respectful of other’s privacy.
I'm considerate of those I share a space with, and expect the same in return. My bills are paid on time as well as doing my share to keep the place clean and tidy. My thoughts are that communication is the key to shared living. I have an active life outside the house however there is nothing better than to have quiet times at home.
Hey I'm Mufaro. I just graduated from Sydney Uni and will be working full time soon. I'm pretty laid back and sociable (you might get a joke out of me once in a while). If I'm not watching something or gaming, I'll be out playing basketball or having a drink with a friend or two. Anyways holla at me and I'll definitely get back :)
I'm pretty easy going, very clean, tidy and respectful. I'm a working professional in mining and construction and will be living in Sydney short term to study (3 months from the 23rd July). Originally from Adelaide, I moved overseas when I was 19 and have been travelling almost my entire adult life, settling in new places for 6 months or so at a time or alternatively travelling for work on a regular basis. Friendly but independent, I really enjoy socialising with my housemates but I'm also happy to give space and enjoy my own space. Wanting to live with fun people where we can all feel free to do what we want with respect for each other and just communicate about things. I'd like to have the freedom to have a friend over occasionally, so if you're not cool with that we're probably not a good fit. Flip it over and I'd enjoy meeting the friends you invite around. If you like to host couch surfers, I'm cool with that. I love snowboarding, hiking, camping, food, wine, music, the occasional party, shows, keeping fit and healthy, that kind of thing. As your housemate for the next 3 months, during the week you can expect to find me mostly in the kitchen drinking red wine of the evenings and making a delicious meal while listening to music or studying in my room. I plan to be out exploring most weekends.
I am a banker work Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. I love have a glass of wine after work on Fridays and have a laugh with my house mates. I love adventuring on weekends when its good weather with friends
I'm a professional person with some creative and social outlets and some broad interests. I am social but respectful of a shared environment, tidy, keep occupied and enjoy good food and company and have a good group of friends that i catch up with outside the home on a regular basis, I'm home to say hello and often out as well but enjoy living in a comfortable house I can call home. I like animals but don't own any myself, like to draw and can be away some weekends. I am interested in having a happy, respectful and easy relationship with my flatmates and have done a variety of share housing and living by myself over the years, from time to time meeting life long friends in share housing so I'm looking forward to seeing what the next chapter holds. Looking for something longer term (6months +)
I've been living by myself in Sydney for 4 years, and I'm ready to enjoy avocados once again and try the housemate scene. I am a full time musician, so I sing a lot but I am a quiet tenant. I don't smoke, I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. I enjoy sleeping and me time, and also enjoy the occasional drink or two. I'm the worlds fussiest eater so I won't eat your food. I'm looking to live with someone who isn't too noisy, doesn't smoke, and who won't eat my food. Ideally I'd like the main bedroom and ensuite (I have a lot of stuff) and I need a wardrobe and washing machine. I also need a secure car space in the vicinity of the building. My lease is currently month to month so I just have to give a couple of weeks notice and I can be ready to move then.
