Hello! My name is Alistair, i'm from south east England (just north of London) and i'm going to be going to Macquarie uni as an exchange student in July, and I figured having somewhere to live will probably be a good idea. I am a friendly, kind and responsible, and like to try new things and have fun. I am not a messy person and always clean up after myself, and I respect other people and their belongings. I plan on trying to find part-time work whilst in Australia, and will be studying for a full year (july-july). if anyone else is in the same situation, let me know!
Multi-racial. I do not discriminate people. I am not a bigot. Considerate person. I do not make noise or leave dirt. I clean everything I can. No dramas. No vices! But a very boring person overall. Almost always out because of work. I travel on weekends to explore NSW. I am both a grad school student and a full-time software engineer. Currently studying MBA and Computer Science. I would prefer a quiet place in Northern Sydney. Lived for over 6 months in Lane Cove North, but I have to move out for various reasons. There are too many people where I live now. Fast internet is IMPORTANT for me. Thank you!
Hey, I am looking for a relaxed household in the innerwest, where I can hang out with my housemates but also relax and wind down on my own. Ideally close to a train station as I do not drive. I work fulltime at an IT Company. I am in my early 20s, preferably looking for a place with people in their 20s as well. I'm neat and tidy and interested in art.
We are both students, Daniel is completing a doctorate in physio and I am studying high school teaching. We are fairly social people, and still relatively new to Sydney (1 yr) so we are always happy to make new friends. Daniel is a runner (400m sprints) and enjoys running and gym, I studied acting and am working on that as well as uni and having a part time job.
Hi everyone, I am a 25 years old Civil Engineer from Belgium. I have lately got a new job in Sydney, so I am currently looking for a new place to live. I arrived in Australia last december and I moved in first Melbourne where my family is currently living. Even though I will be very busy with my new job, I am always willing to have a laugh. I have a good humour, and I am easygoing and very openminded guy. On the other hand, I do love sports. I like to watch it and to practice it. I usually play Football (soccer), I would like to play basketball and sometimes I like to run outside. I have the habit to eat at home cooking my own meals, in spite of not being a great cooker ... I have been sharing houses or flats for 4 years and for me it is very important to respect the others privacy and to keep the place tidy. Feel free to contact me if you would like to get more information about me !
Hey there, We all know how shitty those gumtree rooms are. And we all want to live at a walking distance from uni. So lets just get together, rent a nice place for ourselves and make our lives easier. I'm going to start my 2nd year at Macquarie. Hit me up if you are looking for someone great to live with.
Hi I am moving back to Sydney and looking to sign a lease in Marrickville, Leichhardt, Haberfield, Croydon , Forest Lodge or Glebe. My plan is to find a lovely human being who also want to secure a good property, maybe a four bedroom house. I have all the furniture : fridge, washing machine, lounge and even a spare queen bed mattress (if needed) I have a Telstra internet account, Netflix and Foxtel for sharing with the household. We would be on the lease together and find two other lovelylike minded individuals to join us. They would have their bills included because it is just easier, particularly when they are not on the lease. It will cost us approximately $250 each but we will able to get a great house and hopefully an awesome backyard with car parking spaces. I have some places already in mind and have attached some photos. A bit about me: I'm a full time employed professional woman in her 30's who is accepting of all people and their sexualities. I like films and photography. What I want from a house:I want a chill household where people are free to hang or enjoy their privacy as well. A place where everyone is friendly and happy. Dog friendly as I have a super friendly pooch Message me if your keen to talk further about this post.
Hi, I'm Richard. I am currently looking for a long term / permanent place to stay. What makes me great to live with? Peaceful. No drama. Just a chilled dude. P.S: I pay my dues on time. Do not smoke. Clean and tidy.
I'm clean, quiet, tidy and responsible Japanese female. I'm working in the fashion industry. The room I'm after must have timber floor, big built in wardrobe, a bed with mattress, a study desk and a chair. The house need to be within walk distance from train station and less than 4 people live in.
I'm an easygoing, friendly and tidy person looking for a house that can enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks together, but also can respect each other's personal space. I don't have any pets but I love animals, and I do have plenty of houseplants that I'd be hoping to bring along! I'm a full time science student at Sydney Uni, and my hobbies are reading, op shopping, hiking, swimming at the beach and just relaxing with friends.
I'm a young professional who is easy going and loves going out, eating at restaurants and having a good time. I work in customer service for a global financial company which is situated in the city so a place near the city would be great!
I'm a 27 Year old girl looking for a place to call home around the inner west so I can be nice and close to my siblings and all that the inner west has to offer, ideally looking anytime from September onwards. I am very clean, tidy and considerate of others. I enjoy cooking and I like to keep fit and do dancing a few nights during the week and weekends. I have a great sense of humour and am very light hearted and easy going. My party animal days are over.. but I do enjoy a good wine or beer. I come as a package with a gorgeous friendly dog named Chester and an easy going super cute cat Ruby, so ideally need somewhere with a good courtyard, some cover & a little patch of grass if possible! My pets are very important to me, I will do everything to look after them but you can have free pats/ cuddles. I work in television and do 12 hour days 3-4 times a week, I will usually take Chester the dog with me for the day as he likes to get babysat at my parents place, I occasionally stay there a couple of nights a week as well so may need someone who would be happy to occasionally feed Ruby the cat if they are around. I'm really keen on finding someone who loves animals and understands them and wouldn't mind sharing the couch with them now & then. Would love to meet up with anyone who may think we could make a nice household! Ps. Without sounding materialistic, I do enjoy nice furnishings/ decor & would love to find a place with a bath!! Laura :)
I'm a 37, employed full-time and am a laid back sort of guy who knows how to pull his own weight around the house. Enjoy being social when it suits everyone and also having a bit of quiet time too. You won't hear too many complaints from me as I like to solve problems instead of creating them.
I just moved to Sydney from Berlin, Germany where i used to work and live for the last year as an Account manager for PayPal while enjoying the city and its party scene. I'm excited to get to know Sydney and meet new and interesting people here. I'm very open-minded and easy going, I like to socialise but also very happy to spent time by myself. I enjoy having a clean and organized space to live in and have lived in shared houses quite a bit. I enjoy cooking and having a comfy and cosy home. I like doing yoga and riding around on my bicycle, going to the beach. Oh and I love adventurous travelling and speak a couple of languages like Portuguese and Spanish as I spent some time in South America and I'm always happy for opportunities to practice.
We are two college students from Boston, Massachusetts doing internships in St. Leonards and would love to be relatively close to work, to nightlife, and to the beach for when the weather gets warm! We are friendly and love to meet new people, as well as courteous and neat. Would love to get to know you!
I'm pretty easy to live with. I am a nerd and love movies, tv shows, games and comics. I'm single, not particularly fussed about relationships. I'm religious but my thing is that it's to each their own so don't worry if you're not or a different faith, I don't care. I work full time on the edge of Crows Nest and North Sydney. I love a good laugh and a good book. My current ambition is to learn Auslan. I'm looking for a home. Somewhere that I feel comfortable in the common areas, not just hidden away in my room. Want to know anything else, just ask!
I am a third year Medical student at the University of Notre Dame (in Darlinghurst) - so i tend to study a lot either at home but mostly late at uni. I'm an active person who loves food and cooking and outdoor adventures. I love going to markets and seeing new things I am a clean, responsible person, who is easy going.
I am a professional accountant and relatively an easy-going person. I work full-time during the week from Monday to Friday and out over the weekends (if not reading and chilling out). I enjoy socializing and hanging out with other people, but at the same time I am respectful of everyone's privacy. I always clean-up after myself and looking for like minded people to share the place with. I am flexible with move-in dates and lease term too. Cheers!
Hi there! I'm Drew, and I'm a relaxed, clean, 24-year-old looking for mid to long-term accommodation. I just moved to Sydney for a job with a startup, and I previously lived in the US (NY and TX). I work full-time during the week, and work from home once a week. Other than that, I like to stay active, explore, and feed my new-found addiction to flat whites. I'm fairly flexible on location and move date, but closer to the CBD and sooner are better. I'm thinking somewhere in the $250-$450 per week range for rent. Let me know if you're an awesome person and looking to share a spot :)
