I'm a student at Macquarie Uni coming to the end of my degree and looking for a share house/apartment around the end of January 2017 that is easily accessible to public transport. This is crucial as I don't drive and need to ensure I get to work and classes on time. I am looking for a living dynamic that matches my personality & lifestyle. I am pretty down to earth, very sociable and outgoing, and would love to get to know my roommate(s) over a couple of drinks and a meal. Very capable of keeping both personal and mutual living spaces tidy, and of course respect the need for privacy. I love watching films, eating out, trying new things and always up for a cheeky dance or karaoke sesh (at home or otherwise)! Feel free to get in contact with me! :)
Easy going MQ student looking for accomodation walking distance to uni. Looking to move mid-late January. Avid Netflixer and a fan of wine and cheese nights (or days, any time really). Love to cook and have a quiet night in but also low key party girl who is always on the dance floor. Looking for easy going, considerate roommates who pull their weight and like to have fun. Work two jobs in the city and like to go on outdoor adventures when the weather permits.
Hi, I’m Alec, I’m 20 and a web developer from Hervey Bay, Qld. I’m relocating to Sydney at the end of the year and will be working from home full-time for my current employer. I’m also a runner and lead a fairly healthy lifestyle with training most days. I love to be outdoors whether that is running, hiking, biking, traveling, kayaking… Anything adventurous that gives me a break from working on the computer. I’m looking for a place which offers a reasonable sized room and flatmates that don’t mind me getting up early in the morning. As for location, I’d prefer to live in Lane Cove North or in one of the surrounding suburbs as this is where I’ll be training.
I am 26 and currently living in Beecroft, due to the lease ending I am now seeking new independence and looking for a new home. I am kind, friendly and I am usually remembered for my love for life and 'being to happy', if that's even a thing? :) I am tidy, love to cook and excited to make new friends and memories.
I come form Taiwan.I'm serious, tidy and chill, but friendly. I love clean ,quiet living space. I like riding motorbikes, listening music. My English is pretty basic. I have learned English for 10 months. I hope to try different things. I also want to improve my English so I hope talking more. I'm going to study cooking and I like cooking, so I will spend more times to cook.
I am friendly and very neat. I always want things to be organized. I love watching movies. I'm looking for a private room just walking distance to Macquarie University. Currently studying Masters at MQU. I prefer a house or apartment with only few people in it. Open for TEAMING UP! :) Hope to hear from you soon!
Born and raised in Sydney, I grew up in the area and even went to Macquarie Uni for my undergrad. I enjoy playing/watching football or any sport for that matter, travelling, gaming, and enjoying a yarn about life over coffee or beer/wine. I have been relocated by work from full-time in the CBD to Norwest so M2 is my daily commute and I figure an apartment behind Macquarie would suit me perfectly as it is fairly central to Sydney with plenty of transport options. I have a couple of months up my sleeve on my current lease so am looking to play the market and find a modern apartment with a good bush view (no cheap student housing, but nothing over the top). Looking to meet someone who thinks they may want to share my new home for at least 6 months. I work in the home entertainment industry so if you like movies, games, or pay tv, I have that covered lol. Ideal candidate would be 23-30, work or study full-time, eats relatively well and enjoys watching or playing sport too. A healthy knowledge of housesharing etiquette would be great too. Send me a message on this site and lets chat if you think we'd be a good fit :) Hooroo, Luke
Quiet, relativity neat and courteous individual looking for a quiet house to rent for extended stay.
Just graduated from Uni, looking for somewhere to live up to July/ August while I save to go travelling. Clean and respectful of common areas but also generous and social. Work normally 5 days a week bartending.
Hi future housemates! I am Clare. I’m on an early search-and-secure mission to find a new comfy place to live from late January 2017. About Your Place. It must be warm in Winter! (I really feel the cold!) Otherwise I am quite flexible re; house/unit/etc. I would prefer somewhere with nearby access to ACTION buses and within approx 30mins to Uni Canberra (although I am willing to consider most areas ie; Woden). Over the years I have shared with different genders, a variety of age groups, people from other countries and employed/students, so I know the Etiquette of house-sharing arrangements with a diversity of people. I would enjoy the occasional ‘group’ meal, chatting with other tenants or being independent depending on the vibe in the property. What I Will Bring. I am seeking a reasonable sized room to place a full set of queen size bedroom furniture. I will also bring with me general furniture which I am happy for other housemates to use. (If you have a lock-up shed to place unwanted furniture, that would be ok too.) I also have a lot of great quality kitchen appliances too as I like to cook and bake. About Me. I am a Transgender female and have a 'youthful' personality for my age! Although I like to socialise, I am generally quiet at home. I am a tidy person who cleans up after themselves and is respectful of other tenant's privacy. Sports-wise, I like Bikram Yoga, Badminton and Swimming. I'll be studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Canberra next year. There is the possibility that I may work fulltime and study part-time if the perfect job falls my way over the next few months. At this stage, I will need to move into a new place from 21st or 28th January. I should be back in Canberra from approx 14th Jan for inspections, etc. Contact me if you have any questions ...

Hi I'm Ben, I'm 22, employed full-time in the transport industry and looking for a place in the broader Ryde area. I'm a pretty relaxed, easy-going guy, who enjoys some quiet downtime and can keep to himself, but I'm also quite happy to have a chat and socialise with other housemates. I'm a reasonably clean, tidy person, I do my share of the household duties and can help with basic home-maintenance as required. I have a car I use every day and so will need a pretty reliable parking spot, but this doesnt have to be off-street. I don't have pets and am easy with furnishings - can provide as necessary or if the room is already furnished that's fine too.
Hi I'm Zac! I'm currently studying full-time and am looking for nice place to live with friendly people. I'm a friendly, relaxed person who likes cooking, reading and binge-watching any TV show that catches my attention. I'm generally pretty quiet but always up for a chat. I moved to Sydney from the country about five years ago and I've spent years living with all sorts of people so sharing a place won't be a new thing for me. Seeing as I spend a lot of time studying I'm looking for a place that isn't too rowdy but am still always up for fun. Look forward to meeting and getting to know you!
I am a 27 year old girl who is social but at the same time likes a little bit of privacy. I am very responsible as a person and helpful as well. I do know how to cook, clean and keep my stuffs tidy. I am coming to the University of Canberra for my further studies early next year.

I'm a full-time University of Canberra Media Student from Brazil who enjoys video games, going shopping, watching movies, and TV shows (I love Game of Thrones), and making media, but also like some quiet time while I'm studying. I'm not much of a drinker, but I would have a few wines and go out occasionally, mostly when I'm not busy. I would prefer a place that is clean, respectful, and not a party house. I would like to live with people who are down to Earth, mature, clean their dishes, and pay their rent on time. I usually cook for myself, but don't mind a dinner get together.

Ideally I would love a single room, either in a unit or house, within walking distance of the Ryde Campus and is also affordable. I am open to the idea of teaming up with others and looking for our own place together. I am a clean person, who is friendly and responsible. I love to socialise as well, but with doing my Masters next year that will be my first priority in all honesty. So if you're interested in having me as a roommate please contact me! Thanks :)

Hello! I am moving to Canberra to start work with the Australian public service. I have previously worked for a children's charity and before that I studied history at university. My mum is Australian but I have always lived in the UK so it is a really exciting change for me! I'm looking forward to exploring the city. I enjoy cooking, sports, going to galleries, and watching films. I'm looking for a friendly house that I can use as a base to get to know Canberra. I don't smoke, like to keep my room tidy, and would enjoy living in a relaxed and friendly house.

Hey all, I am a pretty going person. Not overly fussed about the noise. I do my fare share of the cleaning and maintenance in the house. Moved to Canberra to study at the ANU. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. Cheers
