Australian-born, part time student in my final year of business at UTS. I've also just been offered a professional job at an accounting firm. I consider myself pretty chill and considerate, while also outgoing and able to enjoy a bevvy or two. I'm looking for a private room (tiny is fine) in a sharehouse with some awesome people who are up for a chat and the occasional drink. Also close to a train station or a bus stop is a big plus haha Currently looking at 3 months staying somewhere, however that may turn into a year or more after July.
Hi Im Shawn; recently relocated to Sydney from Melbourne to do further study and for a fresh start. I study pure mathematics, & Actuarial science, and have just completed bachelors in Arts (Philosophy) and a BMed- so just getting a broad-based undergraduate education- aka don't know what I really want to do in life. I know there's a real world out there somewhere - but one's reality is what one makes of it. I am honest, decadent, carefree, playful, and take pleasure in the lost art of conversation. I'm usually quite sociable and I enjoy drinking wine, reading, sailing, philosophy, gallery showings, painting and talking in my free time. (i have recently started to dabble in painting - there's something therapeutic about flirting with colour) As for myself I am pretty much as laid back as one can reasonably get (or so i like to think) I avoid preconceiving of people based on age, gender, race and the like and am thus quite open as to whom I live with, its very difficult to cause me irritation. I have lived in shared accommodation for many years, and feel that the ability to be open and upfront about any issues that may arise is the best way to make it work; and save ourselves the passive aggression and resentment that may otherwise slowly fester. When living in shared accommodation I am looking for more than just a room - but for sociable housemate(s) who are down for the occasional drinks and conversation as well as having people over from time to time - that said am looking for people who have not forgotten that the pleasures we afford ourselves is what makes life worth living. As for money i have enough to get by for an entire semester at the moment thanks to my day trading; that said I will have no issue paying rent and was previously paying $290/week. I am clean - and have especially cultivated a habit of keeping common areas free of clutter though i don't particularly mind if you are messy, within reason.
I am a student who works and studies at Macquarie University. I am looking to live in a share house for 6 months in my last semester of university, that is when I will return from Europe on a holiday.
I’m fairly quiet, super healthy and I enjoy good food and yoga. I enjoy reading and good conversation. I'm quite intelligent and need space, and then company.. space and then company. I'm a bit odd like that. :) I love the quieter things in life and I'm also the total opposite. I love exploring and have travelled India alone and driven from Sydney to Perth - also alone. It's nothing for me to take a day trip out to explore a part of Sydney I haven't been to before. I have a freelance party co-ordinating business and I also work part time. I need privacy and so I'm looking for a space to call mine, but with common areas so I can get to know the person/people I'm living with when we're feeling social. A while ago I saw a couple of places on here that were 'bottom floor studio, including bathroom and kitchen' and 'annex with kitchenette and private patio'. In both cases the gardens were shared. I would prefer a kitchen rather than a kitchenette because i enjoy cooking and I am happy to share if you like!! I don't know where i want to live in Sydney. I've been in Oatley for 26 years so I'm open to change; message me if you have a place that's not on my list. Loads of love, and may the right fit appear :) :) Lara
I’m a 20 year-old Spanish student who’ll be living in Parramatta, Sydney from this July 2019 until next June. I am an open-minded, happy person (sometimes quite loud) and I’m looking for new people to meet in order to share a flat/house and make of this experience a great one. I like cats, dogs, reading, music and chocolate.
Hello. I'm from Canberra and I'll be working full-time over at Sydney. I am a friendly, chill and clean housemate where I am very considerate of other housemates especially in common areas. My hobbies include playing the electric guitar and a bit of gaming. I love to chat, grab a couple of drinks as well being able to respect people's privacy. Hanging out with tenants on activities occasionally such as watching movies or playing board games etc would be a nice plus. I am looking for a spacious room, ideally big enough to have a large table where I could place my desktop/gaming/music set up. Having my own bathroom is a preference but I am willing to be in a shared bathroom. Would also prefer a relatively soundproof room, but if the tenants are okay with me playing electric guitar during the day for an hour or so during weekends then it's all good (won't be playing guitar at night). Having a fast and stable internet connection is big plus for me as that is usually my main source of entertainment. I am looking to stay at the very least 12 months so it is safe to say I'll be a long-term tenant.
Hey We’re Ash and Zac! I work in hospitality and zac works in factories. We’re pretty down to earth and easy going, more than happy to hang out but also out often enough to give you your own space. Im usually catching up on TV shows or playing around with make up in my spare time and zac usually games. Were clean, tidy and responsible. Hoping to find others who are the same. I've also house-shared for 4+ years and am very respectful of space and communal living, and am hoping the rent will include maybe some of the bills. shoot me a message if you want to know anything else

Hi there, I'm a musician and a Chinese tutor in his early 30s. I love staying with people that are easy going, enjoy a chat or two when we are not so busy, and I'm definitely not a party type ... Recently looking to move to Sydney to start a new job in North Ryde. Would be great to find somewhere to stay near work but open to other suitable options too. If I sound like your future roommate feel free to give me a buzz :) cheers.
