I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the hospitality industry. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do share my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Hello! My name is Caragh (Cara) and I work on a perminant part time basis and am looking to move out! I have steady hours and am happy to help with household duties, as well as have a glass of wine every now and then! I like to cook, knit and watch TV! I am flexible with what I am looking for, but would prefer a long term lease
I am a working professional moving to Canberra in May. I get along well with people and overall a clean and tidy person. I am looking to house share or flat share and prefer the location is close to Canberra Hospital. Rent can be negotiated.
Hey guys! My name is Cheyanne, I’m 24 and moved up to Canberra a couple of years ago from little old bega. I’m looking for a room with like mined people. I work at Mawson primary school so the closer the better! I like to think of myself as super colourful, bubbly, outgoing person who can bring laughter into any household :) I would ideally like to have a ‘family’ dinner and a few bevos regularly with my housemates but I also like my own space and alot of the time while at home I’ll be studying or doing my art. I’ve lived in share houses before and know what’s expected, I’m very respectful of others property and space :) I clean as I go and like to live in a clean house but I’m not over the top haha im happy to live with males or females (and any animals!) and I will need a medium to large room to fit all my art and craft stuff, as I have an online store and do markets most weekends (extra storage would be a plus!) I smoke when I drink but that’s rarely and always outside of course. Please message me for anymore details! Ready to move in anytime within the next couple of weeks :) Thanks for reading!
I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Cooking is something I enjoy when I have time. I also like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am easy to get along with and enjoy a good laugh. I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role, and am planning to resume study in 2019 in addition to this.
I am currently in my last year of study. I will be a primary school teacher by the end of the year!!! I love both quiet nights and having drinks with some friends. I have lived in Canberra for most of my lif and ready for some more independence now!!!
Hello, my name is Ben. I'm from Ballarat looking to find a temporary place (around a month) somewhere in Canberra by this weekend. Found a gig working at Casino Canberra and just need a place until I can get on my own two feet. Not too fussed as long as there's a mattress to sleep on and relatively safe parking for my car. Schedule is busy throughout the day, apart from weekends. Typical 9 - 5.

I do have an indoor trained cat that I would love to bring with me! Looking for a flexible person/s to live with who enjoys a chat or to just relax watching movies.
I am searching for a room to let. I am a 37 year old male from England. A pet less adaptable nonsmoker who enjoys clean, tidy and peaceful living. My hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Just landed a new job in the area. #Capricorn##INTJ##youngest sibling# Cheers Ben
Hi Future Housemate, My name is Rita. I am an easy going person with good hygiene. I enjoyed cooking when I have time. I work equivalent full-time RN, and I enjoy volleyball a lot. No dramas in life, but enjoy relaxing life style in my free time. Hope we will be suitable to share the house.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to work at IP Australia starting in May. Pretty quiet, but looking forward to making new friends. I like crossfit, drawing and dogs.
I am a 25 year old female who is looking for a place to stay long term. I am currently working 4 days a week and studying 1 day a week. I work and study on the North side and am hoping to be closer to both locations. I am clean, respectful and give people their own space, however, I am also happy to have a chat and watch a movie! I am an active person who likes to exercise and volunteer in my spare time.
My name is Francis Famador, I’m 19 years old, I’m looking for a nice little place to stay in the area of Canberra don’t really mind where exactly, I don’t mind driving half an hour or less to work (less preferably). I come from the country, 3 hours south of Canberra, I have got work on in Canberra, (apprenticeship) and I am looking for a room for rent, don’t mind living with people, I’m very polite and nice. I’m very quiet, self-motivated and active. I just go on with my own thing, go to work and study, sleep repeat. I’m tidy and not messy and just go on with work and study. My number if you wish to further contact me. Thank you.
My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
We are quite and friendly couple, always respect other people. We are also sociable people sometimes love to cook new food and share with housemates but do not like to organise a party often. We always love to see nice and tidy all the shared areas.
Hi, I’m a 22 year old registered nurse whose moved to Canberra a year ago. I am easy going, clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I am social but also respect others personal space. Ideally I would like to move to north side of Canberra but I am flexible :)
Current lease ends in March 2019, looking for a place to move in immediately after that > clean > full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car and happy to drive my roommate around
I'm very neat, and can respect a person's individual space. However, I do enjoy company of others and am pretty keen on finding a share house with other students. I currently work at Reece Plumbing and am studying a Bachelor of Accounting at ANU. What I do for fun is play videogames, watch YouTube, do work on my car and I do enjoy going out every so often :)
I'm a public servant looking for short term accommodation anyehere close to a direct bus to the city. I'm hoping to find somewhere warm for the winter months and ideally, a place I can keep my cat, George with me. He's big ol panther but he's very cool. On the weekends i do my best to get our of the house to catch up on some studies, find a quite space to read and check out Canberra's music and art scene. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. This is very important to me. Some good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly autumn weather has been a surprise! I will happily talk to you about heating expectations etc before we get to winter. Cheers, Rose
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra in July for work (I'm an engineer) and am looking for somewhere to live for me and my (very well behaved) kelpie Lenny :) I work full time and like to do things like cycling and rock climbing in my time off. I also enjoy a good movie or Netflix binge, having a drink or two with friends, board games etc. My dog is awesome, well behaved and very friendly, he will be your new best friend if you want one. I'm pretty flexible with location and am open to moving into an established sharehouse or looking for a new rental with someone. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be a good fit!
Hi, my name is Rex, I'm 32 and I work full time as a Financial Systems Consultant in Deakin. I've lived in Canberra since 2000, except for a two year stint abroad in Canada and Scotland. I'm studying my final module to complete my CA, so that keeps me occupied. In what spare time I have I like to learning guitar, play Ice Hockey and catch up with friends. Looking forward to meeting you! Best regards, Rex
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
Born and raised on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, I shifted to Adelaide 5 years ago to complete my degree. Now that I have finished my degree I am looking to move around and explore different opportunities. I am moving to Canberra with a new full time job. Initially, I am moving on my own to meet new people but will eventually move my pupper, Lynch and my thug cat, Paxton over and shift into a place of my own, so I am only looking for short term accommodation that is preferably furnished. I have lived with housemates throughout my degree and love to do activities together, whether its going out on a Friday night, having a pizza and wine night at the house or going on a hike on a Sunday morning. I get along with anybody but do love to keep active and love animals so if anyone is into social sports or has a pet we will get along great!
