Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, I'll be a qualified beauty therapist by the end of year. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging and having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I love nerding out- I love marvel, DC reading comics, game of thrones, depending how nerdy you are I can play magic the gathering and always down to learn a new thing or two ! I’m super super shy I can’t stress that enough, but once I’m comfortable I’m sure we’d get on fine! I do have a few LGBT friends that would potentially come over so I’d prefer if I was living with someone who accepts them. Let me know if you’d like to know more about me.
Hi! I'm a new grad RN starting at Canberra Hospital in August. I'll be doing shift work (AM, PM, nights) so I'll be seeing you at odd hours of the day. I'm laidback, tidy, and happy to chill out and binge on Netflix. I'm happy to make new friends and also understand the need for self-chill time. Looking for someone to team up with/room with people with a full-time/part-time job of any gender around 1st July. Feel free to message me any questions!
Hi, I’m transferring to Canberra with my employer and will be spending my time between there and Sydney, I am considerate, respectful and enjoy other company but understand when people need their own time. I’m clean, organized and handy in the kitchen and look forward to meeting some great flatmates :)
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work here as an Apprentice in the public service for IT. I am of South Korean background and moved to Australia when i was younger. Currently I am staying with my sister while I find a place to move out to. I am very self aware and i actually enjoy cleaning up after self. I also enjoy company and definitely look forward to meeting new people and spending time together but i also understand and appreciate the need for privacy and time alone.
Hi there. I'm a pretty low maintenance and highly responsible professional adult. i pay the rent on time, I clean, i respect people's space. I'm an ex-engineering drafter/designer turned Personal Trainer. I'm working full time in the hospitality industry while I study to become a personal trainer with the Australian Institute of Fitness. I'm fairly active and am not home too much.
I am a 22 year old nurse working shift work, so suffer from a degree of foam here or there. I love fitness, health and sports but also love to let my hair down, socialise and enjoy a bevy and a boogie here or there. I also respect some quiet time.
Hi, very easy going person, work full time, likes to keep very fit, into MTB riding and triathlons.
Hey, I'm Jacob! I am a 27-year-old male looking for a share place in Canberra. I am after a buddy / buddies, not just a flatmate and somewhere to live. I am clean, easy to get along with, social but also enjoy my own time. It is weird writing about myself but I would love to meet you and discuss the possibility of sharing something cool. Not overly phased about the location and am flexible with a commencement date. Talk soon
I'm a former journalist who now works full-time in Media & Communications/ Client Services in Woden. My work hours would be leaving each weekday morning at 7 and home anywhere between 5-6. I also tend to spend a lot of time in front of my computer working so I would prefer not to be locked away in my room but rather be in a central area of the apartment that's social so I can watch TV and interact with housemates at the same time if that's possible. I'm extremely quiet, (although happy for noise at appropriate times), easy-going, friendly, clean up after myself and put things back where I find them. I always appreciate the same, yet don't mind doing the odd little clean-up for a housemate while I'm doing mine. Likewise I cook my own meals, but it's no problem cooking for others. I make a happy relationship with those I share with a priority. Looking for a weekly rent between $200-$300 with all bills and unlimited Internet included.
Hi! I'm Adam. I work full time as an animator for a small digital advertising company. I'm very laid back and like to keep things tidy, I mostly keep to myself but I'm always down to socialise! I've lived in a share house for the past 5-ish years so I'm used to pulling my own weight, I'm just keen to upgrade to a bigger place that can offer a bit more privacy and space (as well as a proper sized kitchen!). I have no pets but I miss having pets around so if you've got any that's a bonus as far as I'm concerned. :) And, although it's not a requirement, if you've got a place where I could consider getting a pet of my own that would be amazing. I'm also not keen on moving around a lot so ideally I'm looking for a long-term arrangement, somewhere I can call home. Aiming to stay on the south side of the ACT as my office is there and the stage 2 plans for the light rail taking up a couple of lanes on Commonwealth Avenue bridge and making traffic horrendous sounds terrifying, so I'd rather not deal with that!
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
I have recently moved to Canberra from Wollongong to work full time as a registered nurse. On my days off I tend to enjoy eating out, exploring Canberra, socializing with friends, reading, sketching, gaming, Netflix (and tons of movies) or occasionally visiting family back in Wollongong. I go to the gym quite often in the week and try to stay relatively healthy in my lifestyle. I value personal space and am not much of a party goer so I can come across as quiet. However, I enjoy good company and will socialize at home with other flatmates. I also consider tidiness to be quite important and try to keep a clean, hospitable home environment. Please don't be shy, and say hello!
We are three junior doctors working at Canberra Hospital. We did university together in Malaysia and have recently moved to Canberra. We are mostly away at work during the week and some weekends too. We enjoy going out to explore food and places as well as having chill nights in cooking together and enjoying a good bottle of wine. We respect the privacy of our housemates, try to keep the volume down and we keep the place tidy.
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and although we just moved back - our parents are selling up our free digs, so we are looking for somewhere to live! Claire has been renting/share-housing (on & off) since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. We are boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna bed times. Claire does all the normal human things - talks, exercises out of necessity rather than enjoyment, watches TV, likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker extradordiare, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and claiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri-Sunday night) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband & Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we will spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with him visiting. We have some furniture so happy to share with the group, or start a house share. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra. Looking to move most likely late July to early August. Preferably we’d like you to love dogs and Chilli hates the outdoors, so you'd need to be okay with him inside. There is the possibility for Chilli to renounce the spoiled only child life to live with his dad & fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
I am a visiting scholar at ANU. I and my wife are not noisy. Also, we are not smoky and alcoholic.
I’m originally from Japan, but I’ve been in Aus for the last 4.5 years. I moved in Canberra 3 months ago due to a new job in Barton. I work full time as an early childhood lead educator. I am looking to make new friends by living with new people, but I respect our own space as well. I’m very clean, organized, tidy and considerate, so I wouldn’t be a bad one to live with :p I like exploring cafes and restaurants, but I am not into much of outdoor activities.. haha I enjoy quiet nights after work Mon to Fri as I talk with babies all day 5 days haha
I'm Eli, 32! I’m pretty tidy, clean and sociable! I like cooking, watching movies, reading books... I work at Holder! I'm seeking for a room to rent in any place that is not too far from Holder such as: Holder, Coombs, Lyons, Phillip, Chifley, Red Hill, Hughes, Curtin, Canberra, Kambah, Greenway etc. Please, let me know anything that offers easy access by bus to that! Kind Regards, Eli
WHO: I'm a full-time worker who is clean and reliable but also very quiet. I do tend to keep to myself but I am happy for a chat now and then. I’m vegan, non-drinking and non-smoking (but don’t mind if you’re not), and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. My current housemate/landlord can provide a reference if desired. I have lots of sharehouse experience and references are available. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy place that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet (no ad hoc parties!). I have my own furniture and am hoping to fit a single bed, chest of drawers, bookcase and desk in my room. I also have a small amount of my own cookware for the kitchen, if it can be accommodated. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or disruptive drunkenness. WHERE: Anywhere in the ACT, so don’t be put off if your suburb isn’t in my preferred list. WHEN: I need to move by June 30 at latest; if moving sooner than that I need to give 2 weeks notice at my current address. HOW: If you would like to meet me and show me your place, please send me a message (with any extra helpful info that is not in your listing), and we'll go from there.

> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
Hey, I'm Gen! I'm currently a full-time public servant. I like to socialize and catch-up but am largely independent and enjoy my own space as well. I'm generally pretty flexible and easy going and you'll find me a tidy and respectful roommate. My Friday nights vary from hanging at a pub with friends to a night-in with a good movie or book and a glass of wine. I currently live in NSW and expect to travel back to my hometown on weekends every so often. I will be in Canberra for work purposes June 18 - 24 which would be the ideal time to meet and view the property. I'm planning to move to Canberra permanently mid - late July. Looking in the Inner South and Inner North suburbs primarily. A furnished room is preferred but not strictly necessary. If you're interested in having the honour to welcome me as your roommate please reach out :)
Hello, we have just relocated to Canberra from Wanaka, New Zealand. We are pretty chill, hobbies include eating good food, skiing, biking and wiping down the kitchen bench, all with a glass of rose. Both working full time. We are social and up to meet new people in town but also happy to do our own thing. Would love to hear of any rooms you may have available.
