Hi guys, my name is Tom and i am currently a full time uni student looking for somewhere to live for the next year or so while i finish the last year of my degree. I also pretty much work full time with two jobs on the side which keeps me pretty busy. I'm a laid back and easy going person who is clean, tidy and social. I get along well with others and am always down for a catch up. In my downtime i enjoy spending time outdoors and am generally out of the house hanging out with friends or my girlfriend Alex. Alex is easy to get along with like me and generally sleeps over a couple of nights each week. If you want to know anything else send me a message and i'll be happy to help.
Hi there, I am looking to move to Newcastle in the new year and will be needing a place to live, preferably more than just a house but a home. I am able to transfer with my current job so I will be working almost immediately of moving to Newy. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education - The Early Years at the University of Wollongong, however I will be switching to the University of Newcastle to study nursing. I'd be looking to move in the first couple weeks of January. Would be a bonus is the room is partly furnished i.e. a queen sized bed but not fussed. I love the beach and catching up with friends mainly. I don't party a lot but am out of the house quite a bit. I'm a chilled, clean person and easy to get along with. I don't have any fur babies but would be a bonus if my future housemates did. I'm not picky on which suburb of Newcastle I live in as long as it's a nice neighbourhood...
I'm a very go with the flow type person. I can be sociable if that's what you're into or can chill in my room by myself. I keep common areas clean, pay bills on time, and can get along with just about everyone. When i'm not at home, I'll probably be at the gym or the beach.
My name is Charlotte (27 yrs), I am new to Newcastle, originally from Goa, India. I am here to complete my PhD in immunology at Hunter Medical research centre. I ain't-a fussy roommate, love giving space and a stickler for house rules if there are any. Love the beach and a self-proclaimed great chef and I am very into sports. Allergic to dairy products especially albumin (eggs), pet dander (cats and dogs unfortunately although I do love them, I am not a monster!). I can blend in like a chameleon (haha! my spirit animal :)). I am also a lil bit of a geek- big anime fan as well as marvel and DC😬.
I'm on a scholarship for my PhD and looking for a room to work in, and sometimes sleep over. PhD can be isolating so keen to make some new friends. I'm a good communicator and enjoy a few drinks on the weekends but not so much during the week. I'm keeping that void in check with tattoos, bush walking and learning to ride my motorcycle. If it works out happy for longer term arrangement.
Just looking for a place around Newy over summer 'til uni goes back and I move back onto college mid-February. Working full time through the weeks all summer and travelling weekends in December. Love animals, football (soccer) and music, and enjoy playing games of any kind. Pretty sociable guy, like to keep things clean and tidy and I'm used to living in shared spaces.
21 years old, I have recently become straight edge (no smoking or drugs, occasional drinker since the 1st of Nov) for my own health and fitness goals, I love the gym and play multiple instruments with my main being guitar. Looking to move asap as I am sick of living with too many people at any given time in a halfway home setup, where people do not know how to clean up after themselves or manage their finances effectively (I am a tenant here with 4 other housemates and 2 couch surfers). I am a cleaner at Coles so you can expect me to leave no mess and have the place spotless. You can also expect that I will keep to myself mostly, like I'm not even there, unless you're after more of a social household, I'm flexible on that front. That said, I have strong communication skills and am a very upfront person, so I talk about things that are on my mind so that everyone understands how I feel about stuff, good or bad. I'm happy to make friends if there are common interests, have no problem if there aren't. End of the day I'm just after a quieter household with more responsible people. Cheers!
Love cooking and always clean up after myself. I work long hours and like to stay active healthy and social so I’m not home often. However I do love a cold beer and family dinners. I require storage tho for all my hobbies. I’m willing to pay up to 230 if it’s a awesome place but would prefer a bit cheaper
I’m 25 and will be studying nursing in 2019 at Newcastle uni. I work part time in disability support. Very chilled out person to live with except i hate clutter and mess. I have a mini dachshund that will be tagging along with me so hoping to find somewhere pet friendly! Train at the gym 4-5 days a week and enjoy a walk everyday! Love a drink of a weekend! Pretty flexible with move date, just hoping to find somewhere before uni semester starts next year (end of feb). Open to team ups also.
Hey! I’m Jorden. I’m a 26 year old female, working full time in Tomago. I’ve recently moved up to Newcastle from Sydney and originally from Wollongong. I love being social and having a sneaky beverage on the weekends but also appreciate my own space. I'm clean and tidy. Just looking for a place with a nice vibe.
!!EDIT: Please contact me ASAP if you are interested in teaming up (especially if you are a nerd too!)! Have a group interested!! Hi, my name is Madeline and I am 21 year old student studying a English degree at the University of Newcastle. I am currently living on campus, but I'm from Killarney Vale on the central coast. I'm a bit of a nerd, and love video games, dungeons and dragons and other nerdy adventures. When I'm not studying or working, I'm usually playing video games, writing and going to the movies. I'm a clean and considerate person, and like having a tidy space to live in. I love to get to know other people, but understand when people need their own space. I am currently working on a casual basis at Woolworths, but will be starting a full-time early education traineeship starting in January 2019. I am also receiving max rates for centerlink benefits so payment would be no issue. I would love flatmates who enjoy being social with one another, but also understand when I need some time to myself. I love pets, and would have no issue whatsoever with living with pets. I would prefer to live in a house that doesn't engage in weekly parties, but I do occasionally like get-togethers and a big party. Please do not hesitate to contact me so we can chat and meet up! I'm also interested in team ups so just let me know.
Very clean and tidy, can keep to self or engage in sharing/social atmosphere, very fluid and flexible, and accepting of all homes and people. I don’t have any pets, but I do love animals. Currently looking for a change: either staying in Canberra or moving to Newcastle. I currently work two jobs (Zoo and Optometry) and study by distance for teaching.
Currently studying Radiation Therapy at the University of Newcastle as a full-time student. I work part-time in retail and also as a nanny. Looking for a place with preferably female residents only.
I am moving to Newcastle to start a full time job as an engineer at the beginning of February 2019. I usually keep to myself due to the hours I work however I also love to socialise when I get the chance and don't mind a drink and a chat. I am very laid back and open to most living arrangements and have lived in shared houses before. I procrastinate clean regularly and prefer a tidy environment. I do have a pet rabbit who loves people and is more like a dog really. I would love to bring him with me however, he does have a home if I am unable to.
