Granny Flat or bedroom with ensuite. I have a very busy life as an Event Co-Ordinator for various Tango Dance Communities so really value any quiet down time I get ! If you're looking for someone to socialise and party with, then I may not be right for you. Having said that, I'm friendly, polite, helpful and am told, fun to have around :) I generally tend to stay in my room a lot or go out, so if that suits, let me know !
I am a mining engineer and I moved from Brisbane to Perth about a year ago for a FIFO job. My roster is week on week off. When I am around, I enjoy being a part of a household, and being friends with my housemates. That said, I know everyone has their own lives so I'm good at giving space if that's what you're after! I like playing sports such as Gaelic football and tennis, and going rockclimbing. I also like having lazy nights at home, cooking with a glass of red and watching movies or TV shows and reading (especially fantasy or historical fiction). While I am definitely not a party animal, I do like to have friends over for a games night or dinner, or have our own 'family' dinners! I am also very keen to see more of what Perth and the surrounding areas have to offer, especially going camping and four wheel driving. It would be ideal if my new housemates would be interested in joining me for some of this! Ideally, I would love to live somewhere with a spare room or with housemates who don't mind the occasional visitor on the couch, in case my interstate friends or family manage to find their way to this side of the country. I would love to live somewhere with animals, although I don't have a pet of my own. Non-smoker and clean and courteous housemate!
Why I am the flatmate you are looking for? I am Melissa, 22 and normally studying International Business in the Netherlands. After falling in love with the city, during my last visit, I really wanted to come back to Australia and luckily found a great internship starting in August. This is why I am looking for a place to stay now. I would say I am a really open-minded, friendly and sociable person and tidiness is important to me. I also love to meet new people and make new friends and it would be great to like cook together or just to hang out every now and then. When I am not working or studying, I love to go to the gym, listen to music and just spend a lot of time with my friends and family.
LOOKING FOR: ***MODERN PROPERTY*** ***IN/AROUND PERTH OR NEAR PUBLIC TRANSPORT*** ***AVAILABLE TO MOVE 26th AUGUST*** Hey, We are a couple from England looking for a clean and modern place to share with easy going, fun people. I am currently working part time and studying in the city. Luke is currently working full time and works all over so ideally looking for somewhere near to public transport. We are clean and tidy, sociable and enjoy a few beers at the week end and sometimes in the week. Although we are sociable we are very respectable of others privacy. We would like to live with like minded people who would enjoy a few beers or dinner with us from time to time and share some good banter. We would prefer our own bathroom however we don't mind sharing as long as the other housemates are clean. We are not looking for a party house but equally not looking for an unsociable house so something in between would be perfect. We would also like to feel comfortable to bring friends over for dinner from time to time. We would prefer to have air con especially in the main living area and a lock on the bedroom door (in larger occupied houses). Thank you :-)
Hello! I'm an 36 y/o Irish-Australian guy who has been living in Perth for 7 years now and very happy to call it my home. That being said, I'm yet to settle down and find my own place, and my current apartment is being renovated by the owner for her to move back into it. Hence, considering a flatmate! Is it you? To pay the bills, I solve problems for businesses (consulting / contracting / project work) and try to leave them in a better state than which I found them. Not always easy! Most recently, I was involved in setting up a new political party in WA, designed to put people back into decision making in Parliament - check out voteflux.org (I never stop spruiking the projects I'm passionate about). :) What makes me a good person to live with? I'm respectful, tidy, responsible and all those other attributes which would be considered standard. I can cook, play music, fix things and talk for hours about the nature of life and the universe. I know when to be quiet and to give people space. I'm comfortable with silence. I myself am an introvert by nature (in that I replenish my energy by spending time alone), but I am very social and love spending time with my friends. I'm not easily placed into a box... Just some random info about me: I've worked all over the world (Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia) building mobile phone networks Love animals and I'm convinced I have a telepathic connection with dogs - woof woof!!! Spent 6 months in India learning yoga and doing research on yoga therapy I believe the burrito to be one of the crowning achievements of human civilisation I don't take myself too seriously, (about a 6/10 on the taking-oneself-seriously scale) My vices include: Books - I can't walk into a bookshop with buying something. My library contains more books than I will ever likely have time to read in my lifetime, but in my opinion, the value of a library is in the books you're yet to read - not necessarily the ones you've read. Shiraz - Not an alcoholic :p but I do enjoy my shirazes (what's the plural of shiraz? Shirazi? Shirazamattazes?). Nothing quite like a conversation over a glass of Shiraz. If you like Merlot, I won't hold that against you! - actually I might! :p Ideally, I'd like to live with one other person in a house / apartment which is big enough for us both to have a bit of space. I work from home on occasion, so a place with ample room for a desk would be a bonus. Aiming to live within 20 mins of the CBD, so if you're in that catchment area and would like to have a conversation to assess our compatibility, let me know. All the best! Daithi P.S. This website doesn't format text properly... I'm not a rambling typer! :p
I'm a young career driven professional working 5 to 6 days per week in the ever evolving industry of men's fashion. I keep to myself most of the time however I do like to interact and catch up with my housemates when I am home. I'm not a huge party animal, I would much prefer a few quiet drinks at home over hitting the town until the early hours of the morning. I would preferably like to meet like minded individuals who share my aspirations. I'm clean and quite domesticated for a 20 yo man! Meaning I can cook and I can do the dishes afterwards! I prefer to live in a clean home, therefore house cleaning days would be a regular occurrence. If this doesn't sound like too much to ask then please send me a message. I look forward to meeting all of you exciting people soon.
*To move in late September* Wanted: a home vs a room, friends vs strangers to live with - or alternatively, a house with enough privacy/space to be almost my own. Preferably near the river, or somewhere with a view of the sunrise/sunset, with a decent sized kitchen. I work/gym/cook/hike/party every now and then and try to see the beauty in the world 🙃 I'm not actually a hippy haha, anyway if you're renting a place that fits this description or you don't but are looking for something similar send me a message🙂
I'm 29 years old and I come from Zimbabwe. I'm doing my postgrad Masters (Project Management) at ECU. I'm looking for some excellent new housemates to live with. I'm really a fun loving and sociable person. I enjoy travelling, playing chess, watching soccer and going out.
We are a friendly and bubbly couple. We are also frequent travellers, who have been exposed to different cultures. We'd love to discuss about many things in life such as travelling, startups, bitcoin, soccer, art, philosophy (Tri is a fan of stoicism). We can't wait to get to know you!
Hi everyone, My name is Leanne and I'm from The Netherlands (nope, not from Amsterdam). I am 26 years old and I'm planning to travel to Perth the 31st of July. I have a WHV and my plans are not so clear yet. I absolutely love spending time outside (especially with friends): having a BBQ, going to the beach, going for a run, having a drink, salsa dancing, swimming... anything that can be done outside really. I also love dogs but have a deep hate for cats. It might have something to do with my allergies. Anyway, In The Netherlands I've been something comparable to a special needs generalist. I've worked mainly with deaf kids and adolescents. I am hard of hearing myself so you might have to call my name a couple more times before I respond. I apologize in advance and I can assure you it has nothing to do with arrogance. Also, I am familiar with sign language of The Netherlands, but not with the Australian one. So one of the first things I'll be doing is learning AusLan. Feel free to join me if you're interested! I am very outgoing, but I can appreciate some alone time very much. I am cranky when I'm hungry and/or tired, so that might be the perfect time to allow me that alone time. But that's probably more for your own safety. I prefer a house with only females. But if it's mixed, I'll be okay with that as well. Also, I prefer my own bathroom, but I can imagine that might be far-fetched. But you can't blame a girl for trying. I also prefer non-smoking. I am looking forward to find my new temporary home away from home!
Hey, mates! I am easy-going, quiet and tidy person in my middle 30s. I am studying as a full-time student. I neither smoke nor have pets - it's just I and my suitcase. I like discussing numerous topics with friends. Despite that I spend a lot of time for studying. I respect private life of other people and never disturb them.
Hello! I am a very quiet and considerate housemate! I often keep to myself but happy to say hi and have a chatt. I clean up after myself but I typically I spend a lot of time in my room anyway, so don't make a lot of mess to begin with. :) I don't own a car currently so finding a place within walking / biking distance to the train station is beneficial to me. I can supply references if needed, anything else, Just ask!
Hi I am posting this ad on behalf of my parents. They are coming to Perth to visit me for 3 weeks during my sem break. I am a student doing Masters in Engineering in UWA. Looking for a nice and quiet place preferably close to the city. Please contact me if you think you got a place for them. Thanks!
Hi there! - Currently not looking for a place thankyou but keeping profile active. Currently living in Melbourne (have all my life) with an upcoming prospect to move to Perth for work. The move would not be till July- August if successful. Currently working full time and would be completing a traineeship in Perth full time. Very relaxed person and tidy, non smoker. I am a very social person but also do respect people's privacy as they would mine. Love to be by the beach/water and going to good local coffee shops & social bars. Sport is a huge part of my life, watching on tv, live or at a bar. Attending gigs/concerts and just being out of the house is what I like to do on my days off. Like to let my hair down on the weekends and looking for like minded people that love to entertain and opening up their social group to their flatmate/s if personalities suited. Enjoy the outdoors, music, strong focus on being active. I LOVE to cook. Travel is a massive passion, Australia or overseas having done solo trips. Currently only have a prospect of being in Perth for the year but after that Perth may become a more permanent home. Possibility of friends flying in to visit once in a while, would be ideal if they would stay in the home but other accommodation can be arranged if this does not suit. Would be looking to stay with other people in their 20's that have are professionals that live in a share house with friends or other flatmates. Not looking to stay with married couples. I would be bringing across my car, will be need a place to keep this (street parking is fine). Good internet is a must and would love to stay with someone who loves a good Netflix binge sesh of the latest tv shows with a glass of wine. (Can supply Netflix and Stan account :) ) At the moment I will only be looking at this site time to time until the date gets closer to approval. I will contact suitable listings once this has been confirmed. For this time please do not contact me prior as I will not be able to accept your offer :)
Hi, I'm Hamish. I'm quiet, clean and easy going. I find myself pretty busy during the week since there's always something to do after work. My weekends usually consist of mountain biking and rock climbing. When I am home I look forward to relaxing with a book or Netflix and welcome social chit chat and a drink. I'm seeking a place with secure storage (such as a garage) for my bikes. Own bathroom or ensuite is a plus. Other things: - I have a car, I don't mind street parking it. - I ride to work (CBD) so close to a bike route or the river is preferred. - I spend my of my weekend time up around Kalamunda, which is why I'm looking North of the city or North of Vic Park. - I have four bikes, some climbing and camping gear. Ideally I'd like to share in a house or a town house with a garage or other secure storage to get this stuff out of my room.
Hey hey, I'm a 24 year old Australian, grew up in Sydney but have been living in perth the past few years now.. Ideally i would like my housemates to be in their 20s but mature. A garage car parking spot would be a bonus but not essential In my spare time i am either down the beach or playing sport.. I have regular income so paying rent ontime every week is no drama :) Hit me up if you have got something similar to what I'm looking for and I'll come check it out... Cheers, Stuey
Looking for nice, clean, friendly female housemates around my age and preferably sharing similar interests to me. Thinking of moving in July / August this year.
