I work full time in television and I travel often for work. I generally also work on weekends. I'm extremely tidy, quiet and a non drinker/smoker. I love sport, going to the gym and being close to the water. I enjoy studying history, visiting museums and galleries. I also come with free Foxtel.
Engineer moving interstate for career development. Responsible and open minded. Enjoy company, fun but also respect quiet and space. Property owner and father so will often travel to see family and prefer to maintain a tidy home. Good personal hygiene and fitness, prefer to cook than eat junk. Prefer a property near train station or walking distance to most services.
Hi, I am Shameek from Calcutta, India ( and been living in Sydney for 5 years now). After completing a PhD in computer science from UTS, I started up a healthcare artificial intelligence company in Sydney I like conversations related to healthcare, travel, literature, philosophy, AI, movies, and startups. In general I tend to be quiet in nature, and strongly believe in the idea of "Live and let live!".
Hi everyone! We are a spanish couple looking for a room! We are working full time, we are tidy, easygoing, with positive vibes and we like keeping everything clean. We love coooking at home, watching series and doing some outdoor sport. We would love to find a relaxed home to rest in our free-time with easygoing housemate(s). We hope to hear from you very soon!! Cheers.
I am a sociable person but respect personal space. During week days I often work overtime, and prefer to sleep before midnight latest. If I have some free time after work, I prefer gym/boxing training, walking, or tennis. During weekends, I like to get out and about, explore the latest events in town, whether it is art gallery exhibition, concerts, comedy shows or cooking lessons. I also like grabbing a drink with my flatmates and chat about the busy week, or life experience in general.
My name is Ajith. I just graduated from University of Wollongong and looking for a good place in Sydney to move to. I am paying $345 just the rent right now here in Wollongong and i do not have a lease here so i can straight away move out pretty much. About myself- I am from India. But I am raised in the middle east. I am not loud, not a party person, clean, never missed the rent day, non smoker. The whole point of shifting to sydney is with the intention of finding a full time engineering Job. So if u have something for me hit me up here or any of the social media. Search for Ajith Santosh and it should be easy to find me.
Myself and my sister are from Dublin and have just moved to Sydney as part of our working holiday visa! We plan on staying approx. 3 months and are looking for somewhere ASAP :) We are very hard working, easy going, we love the outdoors, love to have a laugh and enjoy a glass of wine on our days off! Were very clean and respectful of other flatmates as well! We also love to bake so there's some goods in it for you too :) Thanks!
About me: My name is Louisa and I work full time at Governor Macquarie tower in the CBD and am also a postgraduate student at studying an MBA (nearly finished) and laws. I am 30 years old and not home a lot. If I go out for a night out, I don’t bring the party home. When I wine, I wine wholeheartedly. In saying so, my nights are usually Fridays and my weekends are spent locally either at uni, books, sports, yoga or just being out eating or dining around. I appreciate respectability and sophistication. I value trust and won’t impinge on your space. Hopefully to find similar professionals like me to enjoy the Sydney life.
I'm a full-time practice manager at an orthodontics practice in North Sydney. Australian born Malaysian, so I loove food ! Love travelling. I clean up after myself. Love creative work and making pottery. I don't really party too much anymore but love to chat over a glass of wine or umeshu!
Tidy, considerate, work up to 6 days a week. Can be fun (but not too much fun!) Have all my own furniture in storage so an unfurnished place or room would be preferred, but not critical. Work in Mosman so somewhere nearbyish would be great.
Hi it's Jake (UK) and Lorna (Ireland)! We're a couple that are backpacking around SE Asia/Aus/NZ but temporarily settling down for work in Sydney! Both working full time, Lorna in Business Administration and Jake as a sports coach. Seasoned house share enthusiasts so we respect people wanting both downtime in the weekdays and some fun and drinks on the weekends! It's really awkward and difficult writing about yourself! Jake - likes playing/watching/talking about sport! Enjoys a good gaming sessions from time to time! Netflix and YouTube the usual go to media sources! Lorna - chilled out Irish gal. Loves reading and socialising in downtime. Usually found watching vloggers/trashy Netflix series'! Keen to meet new people and have a great time whilst in Sydney Looking for like minded people to share our time and experiences with whilst in Aus!
Hi there! My name is Raquel and I am 25 years old. I am a funny, open-minded and easy-going girl, tidy, responsible and respectful with others. Have just moved here from Spain and am looking to meet new people and to make new friends. Love to have fun but also enjoy my quiet time. I’m studying International Trade in Sydney and starting to look for a part-time job. I enjoy outside activities like going to the beach, jogging, admire the sunset with a cold beer and good conversations.
Working full-time in television, so I keep busy with my work. I'm friendly and reliable. On the weekends you can find me outdoors cycling, running and generally enjoying what Sydney has to offer.
Hi Everyone, I am a 23 year old full time engineer looking to move out of home and rent for the first time. Born and raised here in Sydney, I would love to take this opportunity to live an independent life outside of home. Generally I am quiet and respectful and sometimes I can be a bit zany in an appropriate manner of course. For fun I like to play guitar, record a bit of music, expand my knowledge through books, workout at the gym, cooking for the gym and playing tennis. I don't mind the odd pub lunch/dinner and beers too. I would be great to live with since I get along with people very well and like to maintain a clean environment too. Also, I can crack out the acoustic guitar and attempt some singalongs if desired.
My name is Andrea. I'm 29 years old from Manila, Philippines, and I just recently moved Sydney to start a new full-time job in The Rocks area (I work in Finance in a Big 4 accounting firm). As my first time living in a new country, I'm looking for a welcoming, homey place (preferably fully-furnished private room) with good location (near a train station and bus stops as alternative mode of transport) and easy-going flatmates (tenants only). I initially just had one week to look for a semi-permanent place to stay before my work started so I just took the most decent one I could find that was available right away and I was not really able to take my time and look for somewhere I can settle. I would prefer an initial minimum stay of 3 months, but will hopefully extend if it's the right fit. I'm pretty easy going myself, loves to travel (when I get the time), enjoys bonding over good food and drinks. I value privacy but I prefer if my flatmates can be my friends as well and won't act like complete strangers. Growing up in a family-oriented environment, it will also be nice if the flatmates won't mind a very occasional (read: once or twice a year) visit from a friend or a family member.
Hi, I've been back in Australia 4 years having spent the last 12 years living and working in London. I work full-time in the film industry, and while there is an office in Surry Hills that I can use, I prefer working from home most days. I don't need much space to work, and am very considerate of other's space. I'm looking for a professional, easygoing housemate 35+. Ideally just one housemate, but would consider living with two. Ideally I'd like a larger bedroom (smaller is OK if there is a study - I'm pretty quiet with my work - computer and phone mostly). I'm out a few nights a week. I'm looking for a house that feels like home, I don't mind getting a cleaner, I really like cooking, and am pretty relaxed about things generally and I think pretty good to live with, pet's are no problem. I'll respond to emails promptly, hope to hear from you.
I am from Europe and my background is mixed like whole Australia. I am use to living with sociable also tidy people. To share a flat with me means with a simple guy who like s to work, cook and surf. I am respectfull, emphatic and grow enough to take the privat space of everyone serious. I am definiteley not a rockstar, but nice enough to feel comfortable with. I prefer tidy people, please.
My name is Simon, I'm 29 years old, and I work full-time as a tax accountant. I'm also studying a Master of Taxation degree part-time. Moving to Sydney (from Perth) for work. I'm looking for a large unfurnished room to rent, where I would have my own (predominantly non-shared) bathroom for my use. I have bits and pieces re kitchen items, furniture, fridge, washing machine, TV, etc but can discuss later. Happy to put my things into storage or sell if needed. More about me... I have been renting since April 2015 (in VIC and WA), both in a sharehouse and also leasing by myself. I'm looking to find a place before Easter. I'm generally very tidy, respectful of common areas and, importantly, your privacy. I'll largely keep to myself, but more than happy to grab the odd dinner, drinks or brekky. If you happen to enjoy the same trashy TV series that I do, happy to have or be an armchair warrior companion! My hours of work are typically 8.30 to 6. I may sometimes be home later due to work and training. Lifestyle: i'm a pretty laid back person, non-smoker, social drinker. Outside of work, and when I'm not studying, I enjoy embracing my inner armchair warrior (sports mainly), struggling to get/stay fit, sampling all the amazing food out there, and going out for a few quiet drinks to catch up with mates. Interests/Hobbies: AFL and NBA (spectator), and boxing/Muay Thai/S&C (participation). I also enjoy travelling (so many bucket list items left!), and getting stuck into various (and sometimes hilariousy trashy) TV series. If you think I'd be a good fit, please reach out.
Looking to move around 16th MARCH 2018. Looking for a house share. Not looking to share with more than 2 people preferably one person. Or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat, an oil heater, a fan on a stand and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, non-drinker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. Not looking to share with anyone who works from home. As I work outside of normal hours, most weekends and most public holidays, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport 7 days a week and on public holidays. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
