Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
Hello I’m Laura! I’ve been offered a position in Docklands for 5 weeks and am looking for temporary accomodation! I’ll be moving from Tasmania and still paying rent at home so am on quite a strict budget. Something close to public transport is a must because I won’t have my car with me 😁 I’ll be flying home one weekend and another weekend my boyfriend would like to visit me while I’m in Melbourne as well 😊
I'll be moving to Sydney by the end of Feb 2018 and looking for an accommodation for a minimum of 2 months! (Area doesn't really matter as long as its accessible via buses and metro) .I work in IT currently.I'm a very honest person, friendly, reliable, get along with other people and make others happy, i'm on time with bills and rent, respect boundaries and others privacy, And ofcourse, i'll clean up the room and make sure it stays tidy all the time . I mostly keep to myself but i'm always up for hanging out, going out or just chilling. i hope that all paints a good picture for you! :) I'll be more of a friend than just a roommate,
Irish professional from Dublin waiting on a 2 year 457 visa to be finalised - will be working in finance full time in Melbourne CBD. I'm very laidback and have experience in house sharing - very clean and tidy! Into sport (keen to see Australian footy in action!) Would be good to have housemates who are up for hanging out but also do their own thing!
Hey! I'm a full time working professional looking for a new home, who is very easy going and friendly. My preference is to live with other like-minded females who are in their 20s. I'm looking for people I can be comfortable living with and who will feel more like a friend and be up for the occasional chat. I also respect privacy and other people's belongings and understand the need for personal space, as I need it myself too! I don't mind a relaxed home, as long as it is generally kept pretty clean and tidy. I'm looking for a large bedroom that can fit a desk, as this is where I will set up my computer for work. I'm a graphic designer and work for a branding agency but occasionally have the flexibility to work from home. It would really be a bonus to live in a place with other creative people! Looking to move somewhere asap if I sound like someone that would fit in, please send me a message and we can discuss more from there. I'm pretty flexible about location but the closer to the city I am the more ideal the place will be for me! Excited to meet my potential new flatmates :)
I am a quiet person, and like to help others where I can, am retired and have been living in Bondi Junction for the last 6 years. I do not drive but walk everywhere, and enjoy a low maintenance living, with microwave only cooking, and am prepared to take on any chores around the house or unit.
I'm a second-year full-time postgraduate student in Australian Catholic University. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and looking to find a place where I could relax and possibly make friends. If you have a quiet little cutie dog it would be awesome since I've been missing mine back home in the Philippines. I am quiet by default so if you like the silence don't worry I won't bother you very much. I am mindful of others and tidy up most of the time. I can cook some Filipino food, if you'd like to try I am willing to share it :)
Start from 01/02/2018 (time is flexible) I’ll study in UNIMEL for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is within walking distance of the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person(just a humble expression). Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, watching films (especially classic films) or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), stroll, and also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally extroverted person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Could also teams up. Please feel free to message if you're interested
We’re two easy-going friends looking for a place to move into together. We’re looking for a two bedrooms, one for each of us. David works full-time and is moving from Melbourne. I (Ben) am studying a master’s degree in Sydney and am also working. We’re both fun and friendly people, looking for somewhere relaxed, as we are both going to be quite busy with work and or study. We’re looking for a nice place, and we’re flexible on the location. If the property already has existing flat mates, we get on with pretty much everyone! We’re happy to live with both Australian and international people. We both love travelling, and we both speak Spanish and I myself also speak Dutch, so we’re very happy living with anyone! If you’re interested in us as flatmates, I look forward to hearing from you soon! Ben + David
Hi, I am moving to Melbourne and I am a professional in IT. I am from Germany and my parents are Turkish. When not working I like hanging out with friends, going out for dinner, drinks, and also gym and running. I am tidy and have lived in shared flats before.
Hi! I'm Georgia. I'm from the country and moved down to Melbourne three years ago for uni. I have just graduated from the Academy of Design Australia with a bachelor of design majoring in communication design and am currently looking for full time work since finishing my degree. I am pretty clean and don't leave my stuff lying around. I do not mind friends/partners of other housemates visiting as I myself have my boyfriend over a few nights a week and enjoy having friends over for drinks on the odd weekend. I am very respectful of other peoples belongings and would never do anything to damage anything. I like learning guitar and listening to music. I love animals and am cool with there being pets living in the place!
My name is Sam and I'm a 28 year old, Australian female working professional. I work in IT in the CBD as a software tester. I've lived in share houses for over 10 years. I'm clean, a non smoker and not a party animal. I'm looking for a share room, up to $250 per week, with NO BUNKBEDS, MAX 2 people per room and that's whithin a 30 minute walk to 201 Elizabeth st, please send me a google maps link of the walking directions and tell me a bit about why I should consider joining your share house. I recently broke my ankle and I'm non weight bearing until March. I can move in sooner but it would be very hard for me to do so. I currently live in Ashfield and I would need to give 2 weeks notice before moving. I also ride a motorbike, if you have parking available for it that would be an added bonus. Why would an Aussie gal be looking for a share room? Basically I want to live close to work and get on top of my credit card debt. I hope to hear from you soon.
Just a normal, quiet, respectful guy looking for an adventure in my last year of college! I've lived my whole life in New York and have always wanted to check out Sydney -- I'll be attending UTS in the spring semester. Having just turned 24, really just looking for a studio apartment and having my own responsibilities. I'm a bartender here in NYC, and would be looking for a part-time bartending spot over in Sydney. As far as interests, I love to hit the gym for a couple hours each day. Also, I plan on traveling throughout Asia/Asia-Pacific on occasional extended weekends. Shoot me a message if you have any questions at all!
