Hi! I'm Duygu. I currently work as a flight attendant in Turkey in a big company. I lived in Mel for 3 months, I was also going to English school to make my English a bit better. Then I came back to my job but I couldn't keep myself away from Australia, now I'm coming back around July to study Bachelor of Cookery Management. It's going to be 4 years if everything goes well. When I move out from here, I'm going to leave my 2 cats in my hometown with my parents. So future flatmates; Pets are more than OK for me! I can take a dog out for a walk and I'd love to take care of your pets as mine , I also like gardening. I'm cheerful, friendly, outgoing, open-minded. I like partying , movie nights, watching TV-series, grabbing a glass of wine or beer and chill sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories, dancing, attending gigs as much as I like studying, chilling at home, going to gym, practising new things such as cooking, poi, slackline and else. I do respect other's life and spaces. But I wanna be more than just "Hi!- Bye!" kinda flatmates. I'm looking for a place as a private room. I may also consider a teamup as I will stay in Aus more than 4 years. Cheers!
We are two kind and funny Swedish girls who are moving to Melbourne to work and travel for a year. We are easy going and fun to be around. We will have respect for the people we will be living with. We know how to take care of a household so we are great to live with. We are open and outgoing. We love to meet new people and see new places. We’re both really social and a lot of fun to be around. This is gonna be an amazing experience and we hope we can find a great home in Melbourne with great people. :)
ABOUT ME I'm 25 years old and work full time as a Social Worker with DHHS. This generally keeps me pretty busy during the week and I prefer quiet evenings on week days as a result. On weekends (and sometimes fridays, if I can get away from work on time!) I'm a social person, enjoying a good chat and a glass of red with housemates, catching up with friends and the occasional BBQ or house gathering (but nothing too hectic!). I also like bike riding, hiking, camping, scuba diving and the beach. I'm pretty easy going and straight forward. I'd like to live with similar, like-minded people who don't mind a couple of dogs moving in as well. P.s. - I come with Nextflix and a yearly Costco membership. THE DOGS I have 2 dogs - Vespa and Nox (featured in profile picture) - both girls. They are both purebred boxers whom I compete regularly with in obedience and confirmation showing. Both dogs are fully house and crate trained, they don't bark unless there is need (or, occasionally, when they play). Vespa and Nox are very affectionate, friendly and enjoy the company of people. Nox loves playing fetch with a frisbee and Vespa would play tug-o-war all day, if she could! Both girls also love a good cuddle and will happily Netflix and chill all day. Vespa and Nox generally spend their days in the yard, but I tend to have them inside with me when I'm home. They are walked/trained for 30mins every morning and on weekends I generally take them on adventures with me.
I am a Filipino international student and studying full-time at University of Melbourne. I am looking for a place to stay that is near the university. Sporty, goes to the gym, non-smoker and adventurous! Can cook but not very well. I value cleanliness a lot and doing house chores is not a problem.
I am a quiet 28yo male who works full time in the healthcare industry. I am on a 12-month assignment in Melbourne. My home is in Adelaide where my (male) partner and a dog live. I will be travelling frequently to Adelaide and my partner will be visiting me every few weeks too (happy to discuss extra payments for utilities). Happy to answer any other questions that you may have!
Hey everyone, my name is Nathalie, I'm from Germany and 26 years old. I'm doing my master in food economy and came to Melbourne for my master thesis. I want to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 months and looking for a room asap. I'm an open minded, easy going person who likes to socialise. I shared flats in the last 6 years so I would say I'm experienced in that and know how to keep a flat clean:) What I like most is traveling, sports and baking. Plus I'm always up for a good wine and coffee:) Looking forward to hearing from you, Nathalie
My name is Tina, I´m from Austria, 36 years old and I will start my PhD studies in Health Sciences at the Peter Doherty Institute of the University of Melbourne in April 2018. For my move to Australia, I search for a temporary-midterm accommodation. I wanted to either rent a fully equipped place for a couple of weeks/months, while searching for a more permanent solution; or possibly find something longterm right in the beginning. I arrive in Melbourne on March 30th. I occasionally cook and bake, and therefore would like the possibility to use a fully equipped kitchen. Some more details about me: I am a non-smoker, have no pets, love biking and I´m very passionate about science (that´s why I´m finally undertaking my PhD studies 😉) I see myself as a very uncomplicated, reliable and somewhat (at least most of the time) organised person 😉 I receive a scholarship from the University, so I will reliably be able to pay the rent. Cheers, Tina
Hi Guys, Kristal and Kellie here, we are both Kiwis and have been best friends for years now! We are looking for two rooms in a share house or a 2brm apartment, both options need to be fully furnished. I am an Executive Assistant relocating from London following my two year working visa there and Kellie is a Cafe Manager relocating from New Zealand for a change of scenery. We both very excited for the new opportunities Melbourne will bring us. We are both easy going, respectful, tidy, ladies - enjoy the odd glass of wine, sports, gym and I love to cook. We are both well and truly over the mad young adult party lifestyle and would much rather a chilled night at a nice bar or on the sofa in PJs or playing board games. Our ideal flatmates would be in a similar space that we are. We are quite flexible on the area we live in but would like to be less than a 45min commute into the CBD if possible.
Hi, I am 20yo and I come from Indonesia. Looking for a room since I will start my uni life on 7th March 2018 in Monash College City. I am a quiet person but friendly with each other and like to be friend with anyone. I am a neat and tidy person.
Im 50+ female, working full time. I am currently in the process of relocating to Melb. As I still have ties in Hobart, Ill often be be away for days at a time. Im easy going, tidy, happy to have a chat or do my own thing. Not after a 'Party House' : ) Im probably more suitable for 40+ bracket regarding flat mates. Allocated parking or plenty of available on street parking would be ideal. As would a private bathroom, however, no issues with sharing. I love animals, therefore, no issues there. I have indicated $200 as my budget, however, I am willing to negotiate with this figure. Look forward to hearing.
Hi! My name is Sara and I'm a 23 year old student from Spain. I love crossfit and netflix, going out, meeting new places and a good talk. I’ve already been about five months in Melbourne and planning to stay for about six more months studying Fitness III. I am a clean, responsible and organised person but I also like having fun. I am looking for a quiet and relaxed place where I can rest and call my home. I would like a bedroom for my own in BRUNSWICK :) More about me: - VEGAN - 420 FRIENDLY - Pet friendly - I work as a waitress - I like using sarcasm (maybe too much sometimes) - I can’t pronounce massage -Live music is life - I love sleeping
I am a highly empathetic (I literally have tears in my eyes, when the Jamaican bobsled team crosses the finish line in Cool Runnings.. haha) open minded and respectful person. I try to be aware of my flatmates. I have experience living in flats and think I am generally easy to get along with. I am very sarcastic and enjoy exaggeration. I noticed it can be a problem for others, so I am trying to learn to be serious, when the situation needs me to. On top: I make music on my pc and listen to music all day, everyday. I'm startin my own business atm and want to live in Melbourne for a while. I don't look for the brand new glass table in the white colored living room with black leather couches, that have to be used with caution.. I'm looking for a flat with good people that have an alternative yet realistic mindset, to share my thoughts, my coffee and my toilet with, haha. also i really miss having get-togethers with friends on weekends like home, so i am open to an active community. peace /michi
I am 23 and have been living in Melbourne for a few months now and am currently looking for a new more permanent place to live. I am currently living in a share house in the city while working at Coles in Fitzroy, which has now allowed me the income to set myself up more permanently in Melbourne. I am a fairly quiet and clean person, i don't smoke and though i tend to keep to myself i do very much enjoy cooking and having a meal/drink whenever there is the chance. My interests include reading, playing games, cooking and playing soccer/futsal.
