Just relocated from Sydney to Melbourne for a job in the CBD. Looking for a place to stay for around 6 months initially, potentially longer (Contract ends September). I am clean, bit of a workaholic and when not at work I am usually at home watching Netflix or gaming, however enjoy the occasional night out. Own a couple of motorbikes, so often regularly go for a ride on the weekends. Secure parking is also bonus!
I'm the best flatmate you'll ever have (or so I’ve been told)! I'm super easy going, living consciously, open hearted, respectful of other people, and all round lover of life. I'm interested in living with other conscious beings who are living awake and aware of the bigger picture. A little more about me...plant based foodie, yoga, meditation, dance, breathwork, self mastery, travel, entheogens, podcasts, books, arthouse films, documentaries, cacao (and it's many forms), animals, the divine feminine, sacred ceremony...and many other juicy things. Not me...free to air television, "the news", binge drinking (or binge anything for that matter...other than cacao), closed mindedness, closed heartedness, gossip, small talk, passive aggressiveness...you get the picture ;) I currently have my toe dipped into a couple of different ventures, but on most days I'm a freelance web/graphic designer, a breathwork practitioner, and I'm currently studying a women's health modality. Living with me will mean a new friendship for both of us :)
Hi There, I am a friendly easy going down to earth person moved from new zealand last november, working full time professional in city Monday to Friday. Like to socialise, not a party animal, have occasional drinks, non smoker, i like learning new things and keeping my self busy, into photography, travel, currently learning to sing and involved in a theatre group. if you have any questions please ask. Thanks for reading :)
I am easy going and friendly. Enjoy music, art, crafts, comedy, movies, books, cooking, learning new languages & cultures, short hikes and swimming. I look forward to exploring Melbourne and learning more about the city. Ideally I'd like to live in a female flat but willing to adjust depending on the flat circumstances. I'd also like a place closer to the city with easy access to Public Transport as I will be working in the CBD.
Hey! Im Callum - a marketeer from Manchester, UK. I have a couple of weeks left of living in Melbourne before I do some travelling. The tenancy on my old place runs out this weekend, and I don't fancy spending a fortnight in hostels as i'm still working. I'm a sociable guy who loves getting to know people and exploring new places. If you feel you can help out, please drop me a message.
I'm pretty relaxed and won't be someone who's in your face. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates here and there when I'm free whether that be going out for dinner and drinks or at home chilling out watching a movie. I have an active life and keep myself quite busy through my sport, work and friends. I love surfing in the summer and going to the beach. In the winter you'll find me playing football and going to training during weeknights. I have a corporate job in the city which can be fairly demanding of my time so when I'm not at training I'll often be working until around 7ish. My friends say I'm fairly outgoing and social. But I do enjoy my own company at times. That's about me in a nutshell :)
Hello all! My name is Caitlyn and I've recently finished my physiotherapy degree and have moved down to Melbourne from Goldy (originally from the States). I'm currently looking for a short-term stay as my current lease ends on May 20 and I will be leaving for overseas on June 22 for a bit of travel. I will be returning to Melbourne the first week of August and will again be looking for more permanent accommodation as I begin my full-time roll as a physio. Cheers! Caitlyn xx
I'm a full time student and work 4 days, just moved down to Melbourne from Sydney to study and live. I'm quiet when confronted at first but am very friendly and easy to get along with, I also enjoy living in a clean and organised environment so I don't mind cleaning or basic house duties. I enjoy the outdoors and don't like spending my days staying at home
Hello, My partner and I are looking for a room/s to share in the inner northern/eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with our cute mini foxy (who is very well trained). I am a yoga teacher who also works in disability, and Glenn is a web developer. We are both open-hearted ambiverts who love a glass of wine or spontaneous adventure equally, and we jive well with creative types. Looking for something long term, though willing to take a short lease as a stop over to the perfect place, as time is currently an issue for us.
We are an Australian and Japanese couple who have been together for over 4 years now. Mari from Japan has just moved back over to Melbourne and we are looking to start our life living together :) Mari will be starting an internship while working part time. Tom on the other hand works full time in marketing. We are both very neat and tidy, bright, friendly and looking forward to meeting some lovely new share mates!
Izak here, an international student from the Netherlands. My partner is going overseas for work and therefore I am looking for a room to rent until I finish my degree and found a job. Because we lived in an apartment I own full furnishings, such as: a tv, a couch, a washing machine, kitchen appliances etc, and happy to contribute my bit. I study social work, play rugby, am an active volunteer in the LGBTI+ community, and work part-time in a supermarket. I am a social, mature, reasonable guy that likes to have and cook a dinner at times, but also loves to have a bit of privacy. The room I am looking for is spacious and near public transport. I do not mind if the room is a bit further out in any of Melbourne's suburbs. I am allergic to pets, and as an ex-smoker prefer a non smokers household :)
Hi I'm Jai. I am 26 years old. Full time working professional in the city. I play sport two nights a week. I dont mind a beer on the weekend also.
I work full time, I like to think that I'm friendly and easy enough to live with. I'm a little bit of the clean freak, I love to cook and share a meal with my fellow housemates occasionally, am respectful of your space and would like you to be the same with me. As I'm being transferred from Brisbane for work, I would love to live with someone who enjoys going for breaky and up for an occasional adventure, someone who will also be happy to head out for a few drinks or chill out at home watching trashy tv or movies. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi There, I am Aaliyah, 32F moving from Singapore to Melbourne within the next few weeks. I worked in the branding/advertising industry in Singapore and currently taking a little break to pursue my masters, however I would still be working on a part time basis in Melbourne. I'm a happy and sociable person. I am new, will want to explore more of the city and make new friends! so probably will say yes to just about anything. I love fitness, socialising & dancing. Apart from that I am clean and tidy :) Keen on having my own bathroom. Any questions feel free to ping me on this. Aaliyah
Financially stable English guy here to work in the tech industry, enjoy weekend beers (maybe a couple mid week?). Looking for shares where we'd be friends as well as roommates as I'm new here, but I also like/respect personal space. Looking for 3 - 6 months. Preferably furnished and utilities included but I'm willing to budge a fair bit for the right place. Has to be either in the CBD or with a super easy way in for work and social activities, I don't fancy cold 10-15 min hikes each day.. I think my budget is fair with this request. I've listed Carlton, Fitzroy and East Melb just so that if you're an awesome group of people I'd consider leaving the free tram zone. Care more about the people than location & cost. Get in touch if you think you're a fun household, and you also don't mind if the odd friend comes over. I'm super respectful and clean, don't mind splitting chores & cleaning expenses etc. Bonus points if you have a games console, I'm starting to miss mine. Sorry this has gone on, and I've not even done it in a comical fashion.. shame on me! Cheers, Steven
I have decided to put the travelling on hold for a while and finally do that move to Melbourne. I originally moved to Perth 9 years ago from South Africa. I'm open to new experiences, love meeting new people and sharing stories. I am fun loving but always retain a sense of responsibility and reliability. I will always be keen to attend events throughout the city and making laughter will be a regular part of our day :)
